Been coming since I was a kid. I love all the new rides.
Been coming since I was a kid. I love all the new rides.
I was fun but when we where first paying for parking we go the preferred parking which is 40 dollars and we would get a refound when we got season passes so we get out season passes and they only give us 30 dollars instead of the whole amount we paid it took my family and I almost 2 hours just to get told we only can give u 30 dollars back I am not very happy maybe next time will be better
Staff is friendly, lines move quickly. If you forget anything or realize that you need something that you didn't think of, they'll most likely have it in one of their shops. For being such a large brand, their prices aren't bad at all!!
Had a great time. Went on Sunday and virtually no lines. Got on every ride we went on some twice. Bought the deluxe meal deal and it has been money well spent.
Get the Flash Pass. The difference is unreal, and it's not that much extra money after admission. Think of it this way, you will ride more rides going once with a Flash Pass than if you went twice without one, and you would be unhappier in the latter case AND spend more money.
Bought the expensive platinum membership only to have to wait in the 30 minute long regular ticket line to get the pass because the membership system was set up poorly, confused me, and I didn t check the right box during the online purchase to get a barcode sent to my email to enter the park. They had no easy system to resend the bar code, or simply use the membership number the barcode is associated with to get me in.
I ve never seen a premium membership product for anything nearly as overpriced, confusing, or more poorly supported by technology. It s like a middle schooler set up this program. The most needlessly difficult premium experience I ve ever had with a company.
Fun to just let go of your stress from life and have a great time
The park has many different rides, and no matter the age of the guests there are rides for everyone. For the older kids and adults the titan and texas giant are perfect. For teenagers and slightly more frightened adults the Gotham rides and the super man are great, and for the younger of the park attendees the loony toons rides are amazing, they keep kids entertained and busy. There are many different options for food and drinks, so if you're prepared to wait in lines six flags over texas is the perfect park for you!
For the price it is fun experience, but I am sure like other have said it is not what it used to be. There are plenty of rides for older kids and adults, but slightly limited for the little ones causing long lines. The bigger rides for adults are some of my favorites compared to other similar amusement parks, but was bummed how many rides have been closed recently (including the train). Cleanliness is lacking across the board, and the staff treat it as a part time job with minimal care of the park and the guest. Fingers crossed that 2020 is a better year for improvements.
Good fun, worth getting the platinum membership. Far more expensive than I ever remember when I visited as a kid, but still a blast. Just be ready for the cost of everything.
I love the rides, staff tend to be rude and unsure of what's going on. The park is also often filthy.
Love to bring my kids here. They love it and we love it. Fun for all ages!
A BUSINESS THAT DOESN'T HIRE PEOPLE WITH DREADS . I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH DISCRIMINATION.... THATS SAYING AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE NOT WELCOMED. WITH THAT BEING SAID.... I URGE ALL AFRICAN-AMERICAN PEOPLE TO SPEND MONEY, WHERE YOUR MONEY IS RESPECTED. SOCIAL MEDIA SHOWS US, THE MOST RACIST AND PREJUDICE COMPANIES. IT'S US TO TAKE A STAND, AND DEMAND. EQUALITY FOR ALL... NO MATTER RACE, GENDER, SEXUAL PREFERENCE ECT.
It was pretty good yesterday I like how they have new rides out it's just the lines are kind of long.
I love coming to six flags bc they have great food, thrilling rides, and fun mini games. I love six flags
Holiday in the Park. Fantastic decorations and entertainment. Memberships allow us to reserve our free parking and faster entry into the park. The lights are beautiful especially the ones set to the music. We went on a Saturday night so there were alot of people and long lines, so if that's not your thing, you should go early. There are firepits where you can buy everything you need to make smores. Other holiday themed snacks are available as well. We encountered some difficulty at Grannys Grill reguarding prices. Membership perks include a meal, snack and all the drink refills you want. Math was not their best subject in school. Other than that, we had a blast The 2 youngsters with us gave it an overall thumbs up. They have alot of fun things to do for children of all ages. Don't miss out.
Just a great time. Membership options make it all worth while!
Great for the kids and adults. Awesome for pokemon players
Always fun and love the corny dogs and curly fries.
Awesome rides but when we bought our flash passes I was a little surprised they only gave us one wristwatch. It was $250 for the five us so it wasn't cheap. The line wait was almost non existent with our wristwatch pass but it soon became apparent that the three 12 year old kids we brought were too scared to get on the best rides the park has to offer so we went back to the flash pass office to get a wrist watch for the kids. They wouldn't give us one even after I spoke with a manager. So we just gave the pass to the kids and my wife and I walked around for the next 4 hours. Maybe there is a good reason they wouldn't give us separate passes but I can't imagine one. We spent $664 on season passes and flash passes and my wife and I only got to ride a few of the best rollercoasters. They really should've given us the option to have at least two flash passes since we paid for them. I kept a good attitude but I feel cheated.
First of all DO NOT buy the membership until you visit the park at least once. I am now stuck with a 1 year membership to a not very amusing amusement park. Six Flags nationwide has been suffering financially for a while now, and you can tell they are cutting corners on their parks. Simple advice if you must go, pay the overpriced admission, and be glad you didn't buy the membership.
Not a well Maintained Park never has been nothing ever open and what is 1 solo person for the Ride takes forever to get nothing ever repaired or freshly repained.not kept clean even Bathrooms it is a shame, Same old,old Same oh .
Great place to get the kids to be more active than staying on Video Games all day. When we went, it was very packed, lines were long, however it was Labor Day Weekend; I expected it to be busy. Asides from walking around most of the day, we did get to ride a few attractions which added fun to our travels. Something I will throw in on the Review, if you plan on visiting and have never been before, I'd recommend you bring Sunscreen and extra money of course; as with any theme park, the food is up cost! But that's the convenience of having it available in the park.
Six Flags is always great! My family and I love coming here. Today is the 4th time I have been this season. Every single time I have came I have has issues with the app. Major problems. An FYI there is also a lot of poison Ivy and Oak in line at Texas Giant.
It was fun. They should have Minny little cars that you can drive . You get a number and it goes on the Minny car.you don't have to walk through the amusmint park.i will definitely be going back. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE MINNY CARS
I recommend you arrive early for parking and to enter park faster purchase tickets online. All the rides were great! I loved that they had rides for my younger kids. Food and drinks were great. But purchase the cup so you can get free refills the whole day your there. restrooms were clean which is a plus in my book and park was clean too and the lines to the rides were not long at all.
Great place in arlington tx with family to have fun and good times.
Friendly staff, awesome rides. Glad to see that the park is back open.
Sundays after 6 is a perfect time to go. Short lines, temperature goes down once the sun goes down, ideal parking. If your looking to ride your favorite rollercoasters from one ride to another with minor delays, look no further
Way to many people during fright fest , lines to long for food and rides. It seemed like the park was understaffed. Took over 30 minutes to park had to walk a mile to the entrance and then still had to wait an hour to go in . Was in line for food over 30 minutes. Six Flags needs to definitely improve if they want to keep people s membership !
Super long lines that move really slow. Food is very expensive and its not all that good. The service is too slow. Meanwhile if you get any kind of season pass that comes woth a cup you will probably be waiting one hour in the member service line just to get the cup.
All the rides were closed. The majority of the food and beverage establishments were closed. Poor signage to help direct you to whats open or closed. Poor information passed in general. The only games that were open were the ones you pay to play. Don't go during covid. No refunds or rainchecks or rebooting. Waste of time.
Great amusement park ! Has rides for smaller kids and ones for the older ones who like big rides ! Most definitely while you are there try the funnel cake at any of the con consessions. Also make sure you go to Abbys ice cream in the park
Great to spend Easter Weekend with the Family!! The park is huge with so much to see. We will definitely make several more trips. If we lived in the area, I'd recommend a season pass. For budget conscious families; pack snacks, lunch and plenty of water in a large cooler, keep it in your vehicle and enjoy lunch at your vehicle. Two of my personal musts;1) take a pic of the parking area # so I'm not lost, 2) most importantly for me, take individual pix of the kiddos in front of the park so you have an image of exactly what your child is wearing while on property, in the event you're separated and always review your safety steps with your children. I do this at every amusement/water park. Safety First!! Stranger Danger!! Have Fun & be Safe!!
Although crowded the lines all move fast. Download the sixflags app and you will be able to have a handy map ability to link your membership or pass to the app for quicker access. You will also see wait times for the rides and which ones are closed. I would suggest going bagless if at all possible it avoids a 10 min or longer wait. Monday thru Thursday are much better for park experience with lines being average of 7 to 10 mins.
Had a blast all of the rides are great and safe the workers are very nice but the food is over price for sure
Went with the entire family, and we had a blast! We did go on a weekday which worked out really well, no flash pass needed, longest wait time was maybe 10 mins .... it was great!
Is it worth it??? YES IT IS!!! GO AHEAD AND SPEND A LITTLE TO SHOW YOUR FAMILY A GREAT TIME!!!
Great place for the fam. Highly recomend
diamond elite member passes
It's fun but lines are long. Even for flash pass holders... Crowded and if anyone wants to they can steal your things and six flags will not do a thing about it.
Always have lots of fun here. The staff is always friendly. The have great parking
Lines are extremely short, if you go a random weekday. The heat feels like nothing with all the shade, water sprinklers/mist and the rushing wind of the thriller rides.
Super fun! Loved the s'mores stations around the park.
Fun, employees seem to be on top of things! The best employee was at the tea cups. Very friendly.
It was fun but it was exhausting . Because we're getting a little older. Have fun kiddos !
Love Six Flags! Visited on " bring a friend free day" for seasons pass holders. I expected it to be packed but to my surprise, it wasn't - the Lines moved fast & smooth . Park is always clean & restrooms well maintained. A little disappointed that you have to pay 99c for each refill on popcorn now - used to be free as long as you bought the container & it was valid for that year. Other than that, it was an awesome day.
Great experience here, the staff are always well trained and lively, and the park is continually improving. I've been coming here for the last decade and it's always a fun experience. Recently came for a Pepsi employees event and they were even so thoughtful as to mask the coke machines
Great except for the people who cut the line by lying about being single riders and were a family who thought they were better than everybody else. Six Flags needs to do a better job of controlling this.
By far one of my favorite places to visit on my days off. If you go and care about saving money I HIGHLY suggest getting the membership. You save soooo much money its ridiculous. I honestly think 6 flags is losing money from me alone lol. I got the Diamond Elite membership. I park in the upfront VIP parking for free every time I come. Parking alone without a membership is like $25 every time you visit. I spend that once a month (elite membership + delux meal plan) and can come and go as I please everyday they are open and I eat lunch and dinner for free every visit, plus get unlimited refills on drinks forever, and 50 percent off any merchandise or candy I buy. Like it is an amazing deal foreal! 6 flags is now one of my favorite places to hang out with my friends because everything is pretty much free and if it's not its reasonably priced instead of the ridiculously high theme park prices. Get a membership y'all!!!
The only ride that I actually truly enjoyed was the Mr. Freeze.
Nothing is open! The shows are terrible and they cancel them whenever they don t feel like having them! Half of the concession stands are closed! If you don t want to stand in line forever to ride rides there is nothing here for you!
This is great. Brought my teens here for my youngest birthday. We are having a blast.
Had a great time enjoyed many attractions ate plenty of food.
Very fun and great park. Cleanliness and overall management of park is what loses one star for me
I always have great fun and enjoy myself. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of lines (everywhere you look-rides, food, all day long) and the crazy cost of every single thing. I get the free refill deal, but a bottle of water I think was $4. A busy of mine spent$15 for a turkey leg and fries. I'm not entirely sure how a family could afford to spend a whole day at the park. But in the end it is all about the rides, and they do not disappoint.
I really liked the park but there was a couple hiccups here and there. overall it is definitely worth the money and the rides and staff are amazing. if you want a fun experience for a decent price, definitely check it out! (hiccups were just some of the rides being closed through out the day that shifted queue times to other rides, but DIDN'T ruin anything)
3 Stars ONLY because of the NO "Fat Folk Friendly" rides If my big ASSpirin can pay my money to get inside and my big ASSpirin can walk that whole park 5-6hrs, MY BIG ASSPIRIN SHOULD BE ABLE TO RIDE SOME OF THE RIDES
Great family place though. That's the 3stars
I love this place!
I've been a member for 6 years. Staff although tend to be young in the summer has always been professional amd friendly. They put safety first! Of feel comfortable dropping my tween or teen off and coming back when he's done. They make being a member easy, affordable and worth your time. We all know food is expensive But They have options for all! Down side is the seating is limited if you need a break from ride, Smokers are still able to smoke in designated spots and limited shade for Texas summer.
It was not crowded, but the social distancing rules made the lines a bit longer than they would have been otherwise. There are a few things still not open, but it was a fun day overall!
I hate this just because is cold they close the park we only got to stay there one hour I hate this plase
Closed Wed n Thursd during Covid. Hand sanitizer stations everywhere. Staff shut rides for sanitating rides
It was very nice in the park
Fairly clean and the lines were moving. The weather was perfect and most of the Six Flags customers were having a good time in a really nice atmosphere. Every food worker, save one, that we interacted with, had poor customer service skills. Many have a dismal attitude. We asked questions of several employees and each of them answered incorrectly instead of simply saying "I don't know" or "I will find out for you" or a combination of these answers. Many just don't have a clue or do not care.
Nice park to hang out at. Lots of great rides. Parking on a motorcycle was excellent with special motorcycle parking located directly behind the parking entrance booths, right by the main entrance.
The whole entry experience to the park was a little ridiculous. We just wanted day tickets to the park and were expecting to get in line for a ticket booth, wait for our turn, pay and be able to get inside. However we were asked, after going through security, whether we wanted day tickets or a season pass. When we responded 'day tickets' the real shenanigans began. We were directed to a line in a roped of area. The end of the line had the rope drawn across it with no employee present. We stood in this line for 10 minutes not knowing if anyone was going to help us and finally I just went over the rope and walked in to room where there banks of tables with laptops on them. After flagging down a employee we were informed that we would have to go to the Six flags website on the laptop, enter all our personal information, then enter our credit card number, print out our tickets (on a printer that was out of paper) and then get another line to get our tickets scanned.
Maybe it is just me and expecting to walk up to a ticket booth line, approach the counter when it is our turn, pay and be able to walk inside expectation OR that six flags had made it ridiculously convoluted to buy tickets at their location.
Either ways, in their quest to extract more money for season passes, Six Flags has made it extremely inconvenient for people just looking to pay for a day pass and get inside the park.
Fun - pricey
We took our family to six flags for vacation to see holiday in the park. We had a blast! Can't wait to go again. I do feel good and things are way overpriced. It was $45 for two tiny BBQ sandwiches and two regular sized drinks.
Six flags is always a blast, their new memberships are awesome which save you SO much money. 6-18 bucks a month for benefits and unlimited visits? Count me in.
Parking is aweful, coming and going. A lot for everyone in the family to do. Dining pass needs some work but worth the extra money. We go every year no matter how old the kids are. The kiddie part is great but the lines are always long.
Amazing place i even saw a dancing man and he worked there
All good rides were closed there were two rollercoasters open out of probably 20 of them
2nd time at six flags and it s become quite pricey in my opinion. They did have a summer sale on day passes but still think everything costs so much. $49 for a summer sale day pass + $8 processing fee. $30 parking for non seasons pass holder. You have to pay for your picture from the ride. And so many offers to upgrade to different tiers of what seems to be a complicated set of statuses. Some with meal passes and flash passes and I just want to ride roller coasters! The app is well designed and will even tell you the current wait time for some rides so you know without walking all the way over there just to be disappointed. There are a slew of aromas throughout the park. You smell food. You smell the log ride water. You get the whole experience. They do have sprinklers throughout the park to keep you cool as well as water fountains near the restrooms if you don t splurge for the $16(not sure what the price is) reusable bottle every family has or $5 bottle of Dasani. I ll probably go back next year just because 2 day passes are more than 1 season pass and I don t want to throw away more money here. If you ve never been, go in with a plan!
Loved it! Had a wonderful time with my family there and especially my daughter had a blast.. As always number one in my book
I love six flags but this experience.. life threatening. I was trying to enjoy my sprite.I was sitting at table and a criminal ran throughand pushed my bffs cousin. AND THE SECURITY WAS CHASING HER.
It was fun! Just hated walking a lot and waiting in line for rides. There are plenty of places to rest and AC'd buildings. Love it
The line is Extra long today, get ready to be in the car for 30 minutes
As usual...packed, long lines, asked for 3 of the new cups for next year. Girl lied to me and told me they arent on sale yet but 100 other people had them... smh...typical amusement park experience. Lights were nice though.
Last time I visited Dallas was 18 years ago. And I gotta say, coming back to visit and have some fun at Six Flags was the best choice we made. My family and I arrived at 10am and rode every rode in there. My 5 year old son even had a blast and keeps asking us to take him back.
Great rides! Lot of fun! Best coasters in the area!
Fun place to go with family and friends to have fun with the fam!!!!!
Grt rides. You can find a grt company there to enjoy them
Six Flags Over Texas is an Amazing place, I personally loved it. It has an assortment of rides ranging from Kiddie Rides (Teacups, Batwing, etc.) To Maximum Thrill Rides (Joker, Riddler and Titan). The maps are well drawn and easy to tell where you are. And the staff have good direction of where you'd have to go to get to a specific ride. The restaurants and shops are very well done, you can enjoy your meal outside or inside. Overall this is a great place to go with friends, family or on field trips.
First job nailed it. First day coming soon. Security is on it. Real nice and helpful admin too.
Amazing!! They are doing an awesome job and going over the top to make sure it's safe for you and your family! I know it's tough, due to the coronavirus but they are sanitizing all the rides and have sanitizing stations everywhere for you! I felt safe and everywhere you went they greeted you and made sure everyone had and kept their masks on and also the correct way ! Had an amazing time and thank you Six Flags Over Texas!!!!
Super fun place. Typically overpriced and long wait times but the attractions are worth it.
A lot of the rides were down. So my kids only rode maybe 6 rides. It was our first time going. A lot of the employees acted like they were just miserable doing their job. I figured everyone would be excited being back to work but guess not . Think I'm gonna try a different location next time.
Could be better----- Long lines expensive for flash pass..
Today however Six Flags opened an hour early and just a few popular rides. So I had my kids both younger than 9 take a small container filled with water. One of my kids was made to empty out their water before going in and husband was told he could get ice water inside everyplace was closed that we looked at, only part of the park was open so we followed everyone to the batman area figuring there should a place open there and everything was still closed. We came upon fountains that the water barely came up. eventually close to 11 we ran into a supervisor I was extremely angry it was hot and i couldn't find anyplace to refill my kids containers and by now they had finished my daughters container some time ago. The supervisor said all the way by the entrance there was two places open. He seemed sincere in talking to me we found a few fountains and got water. On a log ride the ride got stuck and the attendent had to push it and it still didn't go so we are thinking maybe there are to many people (5) she pushed again and we stopped again so we call over the person by the time they hear/pay attention the attendant came over and said oh now its to late, --should it have gotten stuck??? (our 1st time on that ride)Then on a ride my sons seat belt came off in mid ride (it was a kid ride) when my child got off the ride he told the operator what happened and she just stared at him I told someone else that worked there and a few minutes after I saw a tech going to the ride. I cant believe the day we had extremely happy and grateful my child's belt incident wasn't on a different ride-- obviously id rather it not happen at all and believe maybe six flags needs to update a few things and maybe not be so strict on the policy most of the people seem to be courteous and sincere. Probably wont go back for long while, to many incidents in one day for me..
It s waaayyyyy too expensive for what you get. It s laid out very poorly. Not a large variety of rides. And there is no reason you can t buy a water for under $5.50. Ridiculous
I had a great time with friends and my service dog was welcomed
