With the them park making a great comeback it is still a bit outdated in alot of its area and could use just a good ol fashion spring cleaning to clear out the spider webs and dirty windows but non the less it's still alot of fun! I give them 4 stars and not 5

Shockwave was closed, train was closed, no shows appeared to be going on. The rides that were open were good, lines weren't too bad, but I just kept thinking, $300 for this?
Good attractions but usually are shut down and you waste your time. I feel really disappointed the last time when me and my family was there. No rain or storm.
Everything was great until we went to the bomber alley. We bought 2 $40 rides and had a coupon for a ride free but the attendant didnt want to lwt us use it even when the other attendant said we could use it. Smh Gadiel and Heber denied me access for what. And this is the 1st time I have got to go with all my kids.
Only worth it if you go for a pass or membership. Decided to give it another try after dropping 300 at the fair and it's a great day trip for the family.
Crowded, long slow lines at the restaurants, definitely need a bigger better selection of food and friendlier workers who want to be there and don't just show up for a paycheck. This is entertainment business and they should be better prepared for Spring break and other big events. However, I will keep coming back because my kids love it and don't see what I see.
Great place with great rides. Kids of all ages will have a great time her. The rides are fun and the park has great employees and a great atmosphere. In the summer there are great deals. Spent most of my family s trip coming here. The shows and fireworks are amazing. The Coke specials are really net. My family got the purple unlimited refill cups and it paid off really fast. Great place!
Roller coasters. Pure and simple. I waited far too many years to try out Six Flags over Arlington, and now I've been educated and throughly entertained.
This was our first visit to the park. The crowds were much smaller than I had expected and wait times for rides were minimal. I assume this is because it's off season? Still it was impressive enough for us to buy Season Passes before we left. Great times!
Nanananananana... Batman!!! One of my most favorite rides. Season pass holder. The season pass is worth it if you're addicted to endorphins from riding roller coasters...
Been to a lot of amusement parks, this one just seemed a little dull. Not much themes going on and the employees were kind of boring and robotic. Lines were very long and half the rides weren't running. Would be nice to seen more non roller coaster rides.
Enjoyed the experience with the family. We went on Sunday and was very easy going and less crowded. Food was of course extremely over priced but that is expected for a theme park.
Great place for family, events as well as thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies! Had the time of my life, saved money by obtaining membership pass. They have several money saving season pass offers that include the theme park as well as the water park. I will enjoy taking advantage of my membership as often as possible!!
Coming from a yearly visitor for 15 years straight, great lineup of coasters, typically crowded park, staff is always hit or miss, coaster train dispatching needs to be faster (slow ride ops), but GREAT theme park for thrill seekers and it's the original Six Flags park which is something very special!
If you stand in Ticket Sales they tell you you cant buy a ticket unless you have a discount, all staff in ticket/front gates area are worthless people who send you in every different direction they can that isnt the way you should be going and will purposefully waste your time rather than help. Six Flags is a joke; they only hire bonafide idiots and the customer service is so bad the rides aren t worth the hour and half it takes to find the right place. I d never bring my kids here and I certainly wouldn't waste another dime on this place even if it only took a dime to get in.
The rides, while incredible, are the only good thing about the park. however, unless you fork over another $50 on top of the ticket price for a flash pass, have fun waiting in line for an hour per ride and getting to the front only for it to be shut down. Seriously, this happened to us 4 times while we were there. The food is overpriced and not that good. $5 for a small soft drink. Honestly, I was not super impressed.
BecMe a diamond elite member and I'm loving. Free drinks, free snack, free lunch, free dinner, 2 skip the line passes, diamond parking, and access to all six flags parks and water parks. Great deal
Rollercoasters are a lot of fun, that's hard to deny. Staff is generally pleasant and helpful. The experience getting into the park is atrocious however. Parking is all reserved and often full, and security checkpoint is a disaster of a crowded mess. Once you finally get inside, it's better.
Well let me start off by saying I did have fun , and would like to rate this lower but it wasn t 6flags fault for what happened to me . It was a sad story, I took a date to six flags . I know what your thinking , what s the problem? Fun place , fun date , fun time . Yeah yeah I hear ya . I took my nieces last time and had a wonderful time , however this time I was just with my date . It has been years since I went last and have gained a little weight. There I was enjoying the people and waiting in line . Once we got to our first ride I soon realized I couldn t fit into the seat and had to watch my date ride off with a stranger next to her instead . Was a sad story but I cannot blame 6 flags for my experience. Would recommend to anyone who is not as wide as me :)
Great Atmosphere and Awesome Rides. I visited during the spring break couple of weeks back. It was crowded and had to wait for long to get into rides. There are more than 50 rides offered. They have categorized it as starter, moderate and extreme. Extreme section had 15 super awesome DC superhero themed rides. I was able to cover all the extreme rides. To experience all the rides you will need 2/3 days. Overall it was a exciting day which was spent well. Worth the money you pay.
Enjoy haunted houses, walk around in lots of fog and lasers. Get surprised by zombies, creatures and ghouls. Screams and chills for sure! Rides are dark with lights turned off. Park is transformed into a evening of scares.
Mr Freeze was horrible, only ONE side was running, line was moving slow, and poor air flow while waiting in line... it was extremely hot inside the building
Bathrooms are in need of better cleaning and maintenance. Not very many healthy menu options though they did have sub don't get it it was horrible and the tomatoes had mold on them! Most the games were not working so we ended up with a bunch of left over tokens! The pretzels were really good though! And most the staff was friendly and helpful.
Most of the rides were down. Waited in line to ride Mr. Freeze and several people got stuck on it. We paid extra for the express line thing and literally used it one time because ALL the rides were down. We weren't there maybe 45 mins. Went and talked to guest services and they were so rude it was almost embarrassing. Over all it was a very bad experience. We had a much better time across the street at Humperdrinks bar and grill. Great service, music, food, and entertainment.
Glad we cancelled our season passes! Six Flags decided to do a live Facebook video releasing 2,020 balloons at their park on New Years Day 2020 which is a complete disregard for our environment and wildlife. They have been deleting all comments on the post of people speaking out against this issue, leaving only the comments in support of the release. I will let the number of angry reactions and the screenshots speak for themselves.
Perhaps I am spoiled because I live in Vegas and travel to Disneyland every few years, but this place was a LET DOWN. Everything was so inefficient, from the entry to the parking lot (lanes of cars not let in until a certain time and then 2 lanes open, forcing everyone to merge and cut one another) to the insanely long food line of 8 registers with 2 operating). The park is not clean, the workers have poor attitudes and act like your inconveniencing them to ride the ride they are operating. Half of the rides are not in service on and off around the park and with the Aquaman ride renovation it was so inconvenient to get around to the other side of the park. The park opened at 10:30 and we went right to the ride we wanted to get on and was told that it wasn t open for the day yet and there was no estimated wait time for when it would be. Really? You re going to charge that much and not have the rides open that aren t being worked on or renovated? With the amount it costs to buy a ticket, one would expect that the park is fully staffed during peak summer season so things can be run efficiently and operate to accommodate the masses. Whoever is in charge of this park should completely reconsider how it s operated. Our experience was OK as far as working rides go, but all the in efficiency put a damper on things and made it hard to enjoy the day. I will never go here again.
Not gonna lie, we did have fun...but lots of things closed while visiting. Waited over 30 min for Mr. Freeze and Sat down in the coaster to be shut down for dark clouds.
Got stuck on the joker ride without anyone telling us why or how long we would be there. Waited 40 min for coaster, but stalled the ride due to someone getting sick, it took forever for 2 ppl to clean it, while 2 operator sat down and didn't notify anyone.
Parking was crazy expensive for just for a free for all spot.
Food was great, pleased it was hot and fresh for being so busy. Got the refillable cup for $18+ and that was nice.
SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS is my childhood. I grew up with the sound of coasters and screams of joy. The smell of funnel cakes and turkey legs are so nostalgic to me. The coasters here range from kiddie rides to the Titan which is a hyper coaster. If you love DC comics they have a slew of rides based off of Super heroes and villian alike. Twists, turns and insane drops will give any thrill seekers the fix they've been looking for. If you're not into all of the trill rides there is always shows and shops to check out and the area is just beautiful. All in all I will always recommend this place to friends, family and whoever is coming the DFW area.
I will start with positives . The folks at first aid were great . We have a special needs child that I am able to change and tend to there .In the kids area there was a lot of shade which is great. Now to negatives: This park is very out dated and it doesnt seem that they plan to make any updates . The restrooms were absolutely awful and having 3 girls this is a big negative for us . Several rides were closed and I wasnt impressed that they had waterhoses and sprinklers everywhere . I assume that is their attempt to keep everyone cool? It was weird . We are members and are trying to go to all Six Flags . This was a 1 and done for sure .
Kids love the rides. Staff is friendly. We were allowed to bring food from home (allergies & religious reasons). Food court staff were very helpful in filling up our water bottles. Large Group will save on tickets.
Decent park but wait times can be very long during peak hours. They offer a wide variety of rides and attractions and is very family friendly! Do not forget sunblock!
Get the dining pass! We bought one so between the two of us we get one snack, a lunch and a dinner. We will be there about six hours. It's just right. We will eat free all year.
Look to double up your savings. Like right now (October) season passes come with Free Hurricane Harbour season passes for next year. Can't beat that! These will make THE BEST Christmas or holiday gifts and they can use them all year long.
I went for the Halloween event. Shared 30 for parking and almost all rides were closed. Definitely a money grab. If you know most rides will be shutdown it is your responsibility to let the customer know.
Six Flags has always left much to be desired as compared to the real theme parks such as Disney and Universal. However, after visiting Universal last week and then Six Flags today, I realized just how bad Six Flags is. If you happen to go now, you are almost guaranteed to get sick. Moat people were either not wearing a mask or not wearing it properly. Staff in the park were not enforcing masks or social distancing at all. I had to leave 3 lines due to people kept getting within 1 ft of me, even after I moved away. I would not recommend going to Six Flags for a long while unless you want to get sick
Upkeep and maintenance is lacking severely. Bathrooms definitely needs overhaul. No mirrors in bathroom. Why? Disappointed only 1 water ride. Heard others suffered during spring flooding. With the ticket price as high as it is, should have been able to replace at least 1 of the water rides. $30. for parking . Outrageous!!!I won't go back!
Had been there maybe a decade back , but the memories i have are still fresh. Giant Texas and Titan rides are my achievements in life :_)...Enjoyed Superman and free fall jump too
Enjoy the heck out of this park every time I go. The new recent ride additions only add to thrill of this Six Flags. The layout of this park flows easier than other SF I have visited. Ride operations are usually prompt a smooth keeps lines moving instead of stagnant. They will refill your empty Dasani bottles for free at the concession stands.
I only hate 2 things about this Six Flags, 1).finding the parking space near by to avoid walking far both going in and coming out, 2). Waiting in lines to get on a rides. Sucks! Gave you a heads up.
Flash pass was not cheap but it was worth it becuase no one had a flash pass so we rode all the rides but food is really expensive and the quality of it is like my school food. The rides were really fun but I saw that if you did not have enough money you had to wait awhile, some rides were worth the wait but ones like diablo and the log flume rides are really disappointing especially diablo I live in Oklahoma and went to frontier alot and it is way smaller but some rides where better at frontier than at six flags, and also they take forever to even start the rides.
We were hoping for a little more, but the place is pretty run down. There were rides that were completely shut down, or not working for quite some time. We had been planning this trip for a few months, and didn't get to experience what we thought we would. The folks serving food in multiple food spots were all unhappy and unfriendly, and just did not want to be there or care. Glad we got to make it, and experience what we did, but I think we will stick to Six Flags in MO!!!
It was great. The weather want bad despite the drizzle. No long lines at rides or concessions. The only problem we had was that we went for the water balloon fight every employee we asked about were it was had no idea. One associate said she would go ask cause we were the second people to ask her and she never came back. When we got to the site it was over but, associates act like they didn't know if they had out or not. Bad communication on their part.
I used to love this place! I ve been going since I was a kid. But it is so dirty and unorganized. The bathrooms are so unbelievably gross. I get it, it s an amusement park and you can t always keep it clean, but maybe a roll of toilet paper in At least one stall would make it better! Went to holiday in the park today, half the main rides were closed. And this has happened more than once. Batman, mr. freeze, tony hawk, and the tower were all closed. And when I went in the spring, this same thing happened. It s a waste of my money and a waste of a season pass. I won t be going back anytime soon.
Living over 10 hours away, this is not our "home" Six Flags park, but we decided make the journey for our first visit here, to the original Six Flags. This location features a very large and wide collection of rides and attractions. The great things about this park: there are several areas with lots of shade, the food tends to be much better here than other Six Flags parks, and there is a unique collection of various rides - from swings, to the train, to indoor rides, to fantastic coasters. For a first time visitor, you could easily spend all day here and still not have done everything. We spent about a day and a half here and did most things we wanted to accomplish. The only negative I can say about this park are that operations can be improved, particularly in efficiency, and the parking gate entrance was quite busy (which can be resolved by getting there early). Overall we had a great time visiting here and may very likely be back next year for another visit.
Nice rides!! A lot of fun, is better if you have the flash pass, super fast and you can do all rides in one day. The bathrooms are not so clean :( the food is Ok. It worth to buy the Diamond pass!!
It was packed but we got through lines VERY quick. Rides were fantastic and employees were helpful. Only downside is we waited for Mr.Freeze in line for maybe 40 minutes. The line never moved and no one came to inform us of what was going on, we finally left and they had CLOSED the ride at the entrance but didnt inform anyone inside. There were people there before us that had been waiting WELL over an hour.
Great rides! Kind employees. Park is clean, and food is good. Long lines as expected. Frustrating to find that trolleys to parking we're not used today...so plan to add two miles to your steps today!!
