Six Flags Waterworld Review

There were only three slides open and the lines were so long we didn't want to stand in them. The place isn't large enough to accommodate the traffic. You will get frustrated with both the price and quality of food, if you're even willing to get that far (30+ minutes standing in a line to get crusty chicken nuggets or a $15 bad taco salad).
Their process will ruin your day. They don't care, it's blatantly obvious.

Bathroom /dressing rooms atrocious! Sell my kid an Icee but with no straw or spoon!!! No wonder they make the season passes so cheap, if not, people would just not go! Terrible service and when you ask a manager, they have no answers.

Great place for summer fun! Was only there for the last couple of hours of the day. Lazy river was a great ride. The Hurricane pool was a lot of fun. Swim guards were well seen everywhere, felt safe. They have plenty of locker's and shower's to rinse off. We had fun playing.

Great place. Had a company event in the VIP area. Drinks and food were included for us. Otherwise it would be costly to buy there. In any case wave pool, tubes on lazy river, slides are worth it. Had non-stop fun with kids. Recommend.

Busy but fun and not a lot of places open there and not a lot of employees food is not great

Fun place, rides were great...but many people littered inside and outside. Bathrooms disgusting...filthy, smelled like sewage. Not enough employees at shops/cafes and worked too slow for the amount of people waiting to buy foods or services. This was just our personal experience, maybe it was just a bad summer.

Great one day spot for both adults and kids to have fun

Great place to come and ride the slides. I recommend coming early to get a spot, came today and a fat lady moved our stuff and got dirt all over. When we told her we got there first she started screaming and calling out racial slurs, we moved and talked with management and they gave us complementary tickets to come back, they were very helpful. Just make sure to not sit near fat ladies, they will take up the whole spot.

Many lines to buy food and drinks. They never have ice for the drink refeell.

Not impressed. Some of the rides weren't open when we went. Wave pool took over and hour to finally kick out some waves. Between a locker and Saturday parking you are out almost $40. We are season pass holders for six flags the water park was free.

The water was unheated and down right cold. The staff was friendly though. If I had to go again, I definitely would do so. Ho ho ho.

This place is AMAZING so much Fun! But BRING WATER BOTTLES this place only has two water fountains at the front of the amusement park. Also the water is really salty.

They took away the mist, now the ground is really hot. Remember to bring water shoes!

Its a decent place to swim with friends and family but watch out for thieves.

Very busy. Primarily there for the kids. Kids had a blast!

Go to the door for security. We arrived at two o'clock in the afternoon and didn't use the queue.
There are lockers available for rent. A big 13 yuan, a small 10 yuan. Rent a day. The machine collects money and can only pay with the card. When you pay, you need to set a password, 4 digits. The payment will display the number of the cabinet. Can open the door multiple times. Enter the password to open.
The swim ring can be rented, but it seems that you can't bring it yourself. Single for 10 yuan, double for 15 yuan.
Did not buy and drink in the park. I brought a hot water bottle and a regular water bottle. There is a water dispenser with drinking water in front of the toilet.
There is no special locker room and you can only change clothes in a narrow toilet.
The place to take a bath is outdoor, so it can only be flushed. And it seems to be cold water. Because there are too many people waiting in line, we didn't wash.
I am very happy to play. The facilities for changing clothes and bathing are too bad.

Hurricane harbor , is not such Kids friendly water park . Kids water slides are dangerous at the drop they have cement no cushion ! Staff is very rude no professional service . Note they don t sale healthy fruits or snacks for ! I was told I could bring a 3 Z bar for my 3 girls ! I give it 1 star just so I can give it a review.

The kids love going. It is nice to have it as part of Six Flags again. They changed the older playground to accommodate younger kids, which is cool. Unfortunately it is joined into the lazy river which is the coldest water in the park. Opening day should have had a full staff with all rides and restaurants opened and stocked. Seems to be a recurring issue. Overall a place to escape and have some water fun.

This place had me buy a bundle of 4 tickets to get free parking, the firts time i went in on a Saturday everything went smooth. The next Saturday i went they had me pay by saying the parking lot was too full so I had to pay. It was too hot to argue so I just payed my $25. The time after that my friend, whom I got the 4 tickets with, and I went in different cars the exact same day at the exact same time just in different lanes and she didnt pay but I had to. Today I went in and asked about this and they told me that they could explain why this happened but there was nothing they could do and I needed to pay extra to be able to park there on the weekends. I'm really disappointed that they didnt specify this when I first got my tickets. Another friend bought tickets too and she payed less and her ticket did specify that this was free parking Monday to Friday but mine didnt, I figure that that was why I payed extra. Also today I rented 2 double tubes, I payed $40 and they told me I was going to get $10 back. I went along my day and when it was time for me to return those tubes they told me I couldn't get my $10 back because I didnt have the wristband, I asked him what wrist band was he talking about and that I hadn't received a wristband, he simply told me that I could get my $10 back without my wristband and called the next person. This place is just a mess when it comes to transactions!

Great place to escape the heat. There is a little something for everyone. The food situation is a problem. Long lines no matter what time of the day you go. Normal food options including burgers, pizzas, etc

The water park itself was awesome fun. Food service was absolutely terrible at my time of visit. I was probably waiting on food for over an hour and they didn't even get it right. I would definitely suggest bringing your own cooler and eating out in the parking lot.

We went on the last day that Waterworld was open for the season. It was a bit cold, but pleasant because the lines weren't long. There are a lot of great slides and other thrilling rides.

The water rides are great. The food lines are slow waited in the food line for 2 hours and the prices are very high

Doesnt matter if you reserve for the VIP area people have stolen my stuffs (towel sandals and sun screen) no fair!!!

Lots of fun for the whole family, especially on hot summer days. Hurricane Harbor is only open though September. The description of the Diamond Elite membership description is slightly misleading because it says that most items in the park are 50% off, but in reality most of my purchases so far have not been 50% off. Tube rentals are only 35% off, and lockers and adult beverage are not discounted at all. Outside food is prohibited but the lines to purchase food are long. They regularly run out of double tubes, which I don't understand because the return on investment for them to purchase more tubes would be a matter of days. However, our experience with this water park has been mostly positive. If you're looking for a fun place to cool off on a summer day, Hurricane Harbor is a great choice.

The park itself is great..I have concerns with over zealous security, staff members lack of knowledge when it comes to replacing membership cards. The horribly long lines at the one food stand thats generally been the only one open. We had to wait 1.5 hours to get food for my family in the heat. They seem to run out of ice each time we visit and most soda flavors. ( we come at least weekly with membership) This week a lifeguard had sn emergency situation and blew her whistle for help for over 15 minutes before help arrived. A child or even adult could be dead in thid time frame and id unacceptable. All workers should have access to a radio to call for help faster.

Omg! This is the best park i have ever been to in my life! And that says a lot because i have been to all the paks available in California yes including Disneyland! I love this park and water is my favorite element to be in. The people are so nice! And they allowed me to take in food cause i have dietary needs plus ive brought my earbuds and tupperware for listening too and to store my food that i cant eat back to my home. I have nothing but good things to say about six flags hurricane harbor and the diamond elite memberships and premium food pass! If u go to any of the six flags parks it is so worth the value u pay for these two passes i have only gone to these parks 10 times and i have already got triple the value and i havent even put a dent in how much im going to use it this year! I am totally recommending this to everyone that wants to go several times to six flags parks it is so worth it i know the best membership can be a little pricey but u can pay monthly all year long for all the things u buy like the food pass as well each month which makes it so reasonable and affordable! The premium food pass allows u lunch, dinner, and a snack each day at both parks which is so awesome because i only live down the street from hurricane harbor so i plan to use my passes every day they r open. My only suggestion for the people in charge of hurricane harbor is that they try to make it easier to figure out how to get where u want to go ive only been in basically one area because all the other areas i wanted to go to had a vence around them and i couldnt figure out how to get to those areas but i really got to say this is a friendly park for everyone! They have tons of chairs to sit down at and tons of picnic tables with coverings for shade and they actually have choices for people that eat more healthy like 2 salads and chicken. I cant have any flour, sugar or starch but i can have their chicken, grilled chicken salad, chicken sausage, hot dog, cheese burger, and grilled chicken sandwich of course i dont eat the buns, fries or chips but i think that is a pretty good selection for people with special dietary needs. Also with my membership i got a red drinking bottle that allows me endless soda drinks all day every day im there. I hope this encourages more people to get these passes because six flags is a great supporter of animals and we need to support them so they can keep doing the great work they have been doing for the animals i got to c while i was at six flags discovery kingdom! Thank you so much six flags for being here and offering so much for our pleasure!

Good for all ages. If needed, life vests are available in different sizes for the wave pool. Would be better if there were better food options and tubes for the lazy river were free to use.

They have ruined the water park. This was the first time I had been in several years. I no longer live in the area. I paid 158 dollars for tickets to get in, drove 80 miles to get there, plus bridge toll and the sitting areas were dirty and smelled of vomit. The water in the lazy river was filthy. There was lack of seating due to the 'diamond only" areas. You are selling VIP passes so people can cut the line, which is not okay. I will not come back.

This was an AMAZING park, and I had a lot of fun. The atmosphere was great! Even the food was good (chicken tenders!!!!!), especially due to the service!

If I could, I would give them a --5 stars. Celebrated our daughter's birthday here. Horrible experience and will never go again. Waited in line for food and drinks for 1.5 hours to get our order wrong and burnt. No one are, threw everything away. Kids were jumping from the rocks and falling on people, the staff did nothing. The water was filled with dirt and bandaids. Half the rides were down. The lockers were broken. The service was horrible.

I m so disappointed from the manager mayra of tidal wave cafe in harbor concord so they don t let you to bring your own food and if you need to get there food you need at list one hour in the line, under the sun 90 degrees f . !!!! time passes 3:30 the managers mayra forced me to get a snack instead lunch . I think this is not fair .I m thinking to cancel my membership

Family of 4, September Sunday afternoon well-spent. Rides were well-kept, lots of watchful life guards. Tornado (big funnel-looking raft ride) is not to be missed!

Great place for the kids on a hot day. They need to up their game at the food place though, takes like 45 minutes to get any food.

I bring my kids here every spring break, we always have an amazing time!

Great Waterpark. Went with my nephews and we had a blast. Only problem is that you have to rent the tunes for the lazy river.

Men s bathroom was worse than a truck stop bathroom. Absolutely disgusting. Certain areas of the park have a sewer smell to them. Besides that, great way to spend a summer day. 2.5 stars

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord is a water park located in Concord, California. It was initially developed, owned, and operated by Premier Parks. Get there at opening to get a good shady spot to hang out. Lines can get quite long as the day goes on. The slides are fun and the wave pool is very large. Be reminded that this is a crowded place.

No food allowed, high parking fee. Rent even tubes for swimming

The park was not spectacular. I expected a bit more from a park owned by the Six Flags corporation. They had one set of bathrooms for the Entire park and if you have water and kids (or adults for that matter) you know how wrong that is. The new play area was the second best thing next to the wave pool.
The food, however, was not good at all. The drink stations ran out of some soda by noon, and out of ice by 3. Poor planning I would say.
It almost appeared as though the park was run by teenagers who didn't really want to be there. They ran out of snacks before 3 if they had them at all. The bathroom stalls were small and since they only had two dressing rooms, I guess you were expected to change in the bathroom. Eww. All in all it was a place to cool off, but way overpriced for that.
