The experience is great and there was lots of fun!! However, there should be better signs to indicate if rental tubes are allowed on certain rides or not. It took me 1hr to get to the top of the U ride and they said we couldn t take rental tubes on the ride... also, there s only really two rides you can take rental tubes on! Overall, I had fun with my friends but the lines are sort of long during the weekend.
I was there on a day where temps reached triple digits with 150 7th graders. And a lot has changed in the past year.
The main one being that they now charge a membership fee to sit in the best areas. You know the ones that are shaded after 12 noon. Would not recommend unless you're ok with being fleeced for what is now a subpar facility and overall poor experience.
Gross!!! Filthy pantiliners on multiple bathroom stalls!! Old ones from last season!!! This was the grand opening I attended yesterday and it was super sub par!!! Most rides were closed!!! Hair and trash floating in lazy river!! Two hour wait for food!!! Employees walking around like zombies!!! It was so disappointing and the main reason I got a season pass for my kids main xmas gift!!! Unfortunately my kids said they would rather of gone to school!!!
This place is very fun with lots of awesome rides and if you like six flags you should get the Platinum pass best 2 benefits of it in my opinion is that you get flash pass and 35% off everything also if you are going to get food at hurricane harbor I would recommend you go early let them scan your card and get your food because if you're u get food from 11:35-closing time there is around a 45 min wait a good ride you should check out there is the big kahuna I recommend you bring your kids there to because they updated the playground for kids there and it is huge with water sprayers there is also one in the lazy river that is ment for littler kids
I would have given more stars but my perception is so-so. Only 10 windows for food and it took long. I realize this is only the second day opened, so i hope management learns something from today.
Employees in the snack bar didn't appear passionate in what they were doing. Very lethargic with bored looks. There has to be a better system, the one used needs some work. Its to slow.
Second, there should be a second register for customers to return tubes. If you want the deposit back, then you need to stand in the rental line. I hope this wasn't done on purpose thinking many people wouldn't wait in line in hopes of keeping the deposits above what they are charging for rent.
Management, don't pat yourself on the back for thinking of a way to swindle money from your customers, why? Because many of us won't return.
We were going to make it a whole day there but ended up leaving early.
I went with my camp on a field trip and we had an amazing time! The lines are efficient so we were able to go on lots of slides. Park is pretty clean and staff is super friendly!
Food court has the worst service, always running out of ice and food, they have horrible customer service.
Food line 2 hour wait. Everything's crowded and lines for rides are very very long. Trashy place will not return. Will pay double somewhere else and have a wonderful day with my family. The icing on the cake is a car that parked next to me hit my car in the parking lot. PARK NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL! hours are short also.
Be aware...this place is a waterpark however there are no changing rooms and only one bathroom area with about 12 stalls. What kind of waterpark or swim area does not have an area specifically to change??? Also it took over an hour to get a few slices of pizza at their main eatery. Also be prepared for lots of people bumping up against you...it is really crowded. I did not feel safe with my kids in any of the swim structures. I seriously cannot believe the inadequacy of this place. Would dread going back there.
Poor customer service. Not to many food vendors open . Took an hour to get food.
Terrible food. Shoddy management. Filthy all over. 1 bathroom for the whole establishment. Embarrassing for a SixFlags facility to say the least.
Clean park, don't like that you have to rent a tube for the lazy river! Watch your tube, people will just take them if you don't watch. Just raise your price and include the tubes. Slides were fun, and nice lay out!
Good time for family. Lines could have moved a little faster but over a good experience. Be sure to bring whatever you need sun block is $20 for tiny bottle
Too crowded and long lines to get food. Took us two and a half hours to get food... needs more parking...
Quite crowded, not enough lockers - but fun and worth the trip
1 star is a great gift for the quality of this park ....
The parking is not free, 25 dollars to park your car in full sun.
The locker is not free, 11 dollars for one bag!!!
forbidden to bring food, so we have to eat junk food or eat in the sun outside the park ...
when we visited the site the tornado was closed, as well as two other attractions.
the toilets are dirty and smell bad, please hire staff or buy a ventilation!
And for the last there is no shower despite this being written on the web site.
they did not want to refund me because I went back on the site
Though it was crowded on occasion things moved along great and My Girls loved it !
It would fantastic if there was a swimming pool for adults
Food lines were over an hour long all day long. Need more concessions or employees for the demand. Also no ice in fill up station 2 out of the 3 times I went to fill my drink.
I liked it except for having to rent your own lazy river tube. It was like 10 bucks. Unless you're a "diamond member"
Nice place to spend some time with friends. But wish there are some more food counters, so it would be easy for people to grab food, instead of standing at one food counter line for hours in hot sun. Burning your self
Bad bad bad costumer service plus the must important the sodas taste bad flat
Great place. They provide life jackets for everyone. I wish outside food was allow. Another than that it was great
The first time I was a lot of people I did not like it because I did not have a place to sit
Nice place Only there is no good food to eat but to go a single day is perfect I would go back.
No changing rooms at all and a dude legit pushed me put of the way to get a stall. I only saw two water fountains. The parking is $25, a double tube is $15 and we had to pay $13 for a locker, at least they didn't charge per pool. I fully expect to pay but it's hard not to feel like you're getting gouged when everything has a price tag.
Everything is very organized, very secure, ideal to share with family and friends, only they do not allow you to enter your food and in the place you have to make long lines to buy it
Went to Hurricane Harbor for a family event and it was a ton of fun. It is expensive, so be sure to get your purse out lol. I had a lot of fun, it was a great day and there is so much fun stuff to do for the kids. One thing that I was surprised by and it was a good surprise was how clean the facilities were. I have had some bad experiences at water parks and large public pools. Fun place to take the family. I will go again.
Want to love this place... Love that they've added more rides for the littles! Food place & customer service is where they fail, HARD! Ran out of food, it is something that has happened a few times this summer, and rude to customers about it
Parking price is ridiculous especially when I'm a season pass holder for six flags and don't pay for parking at other parks. Food prices are high. They have double standards. Wouldn't return not worth the drive.
A fantastic water park! It's not huge, but it provided most of a day's fun for us. The rides were awesome, food was good, and my wife and I had a wonderful time.
Other reviewers are complaining about the wait and prices. This place has faster lines than six flags, cheaper food prices, and good food. Definitely worth going.
We had a wonderful day at the food was and the service was great.
Although fun place to cool yourself off with lots of pools and slides, the park is in need of some updates to their slide infrastructure. The entrance fee is reasonable but not allowed food inside and food is very pricey inside.
Fun waterpark! Foodlines WAY TOO LONG! Eat in the Parking lot...tailgate...
You have to wait in line for food for hours at a time.DO NOT buy food there bring your own and tailgate it.TRUST ME!!!
We always have fun everytime we go! ICEE's are the only consumables worth purchasing from the park. Eat before or after coming to the park. Ground is rough and hot. Leave flip flops at your chair and only use them when you're going to the dry areas. Ground between slides is not as painful due to the water on it, plus the staff will not allow anyone on any slide with anything; sunglasses, shoes (water or otherwise), phone in waterproof pouch; ect. So if they see any items as such, they will make you leave them up top where you board the slide and come back to retrieve them (by pushing your way through the crowded lines up several flights of stairs). Hide your stuff in your swimsuit or just don't bother trying to go on a slide with anything extra. When the park was open weekdays earlier in the season, the crowds were much denser for everything except the food and tube rental. Those lines pretty much stay long. But now that the park is only open weekends, they are the busiest. I love how all the other reviews are referring to the park being dirty.. yes, it can sometimes get a little on the littered side, but I think that's a problem that lies with the patrons. My party of 4 have been to the park several times during the season and have managed to stay for several hours and leave without making a single mess that would need to be cleaned behind us. Just because you paid to get in does not mean your basic responsibilities of being respectful of the grounds in which your on not being yours to trash and picking up after yourself are now the parks responsibility. They can only do so much in the face of being outnumbered by a lot and keeping up with the trash and mess pick up. The bathrooms are cleaned as often as the janitors can manage while the stalls are constantly in use. Personally, I feel that being mindful of your own impact left behind in the places you visit makes a huge difference. If everyone else felt the same there would probably be a lot less complaints regarding the cleanliness of this park. Anyways, membership is the way to go with this place. And also, the staff leave a lot to be desired, but what can you expect from a bunch of teenagers unenthusiasticly spending their summer break working? All and all a really fun experience though. Will definitely be hitting the park a couple more times before they close for the season! Haven't had my fill just yet!
Horrible few slides and extremely crowded few spots to sit and expensive.
The only thing that I did not like is that you waste all your time grabbing something to eat even though it's just junk food take longer than they will prepare fresh food from restauran it seems they take time on purpose if they fix that would give them 5 stars
So my boyfriend, brother and I came to hurricane harbor for the first time today 6/3/18. We were so excited cause we all had the season pass that can go to any six flags parks. We get there and it wasn t what we expected. We expected somthing bigger then the sunsplash in Roseville. We started walking around and notice there was very few slides open threw the day. The food was amusement park quality and over priced of course. The women bathrooms for disgusting and had dipers on the floor. The lazy river got shut down cause some one pooped or threw up in it. Also the workers and life gaurds were not friendly or helpful when we asked questions. We live 2 hours away and it defenetly wasn t worth the drive. I suggest going to sunsplash because there are many more options.
Fun set of rides and lots of hardworking lifeguards... but you shouldn't have to wait in line an hour to buy dinner there... which unfortunately was our experience AGAIN at six flags...
Love the water park, hate the lines for food. Lost my money, i wont waste my time.
These lines to order food is extremely ridiculous! They really need to do a better job with the wait times especially on weekends! Its worst than going to a restaurant on Valentine's day without a reservation! Just plain ridiculous! Also the lazy river is always hella nasty with bark and bugs floating around in it
Awful experience. Increased prices. Wayyyyy more crowded. Had only 2 of the big slides open and then closed the wave pool for water maintenance . Left shortly after. What happened to the wonderful waterworld I ve known for so many years.
Family Fun!! Get the combo season pass with Six Flags while on sale. August through Black Friday has great pricing and you get to use the next year's season pass for the end of the year you buy it too!
First I don't understand why the food lane is so long. They should work on renovations there! All the money they making. The ice machine broke in the drink lane!Customer service needs improvement! This was my first time there didn't like it at all
We bought a super expensive ticket to go to Hurricane Harbor and we had a terrible time there. This is a place you should go once in a lifetime! Very expensive food and a poor quality. We were very upset. Thought we were going there to have a good time but it did not happen.
It is a perfect place for the whole family, has games and slides for children and some great slides for adults.
Lots of fun, but very very long lines. Stood in line for 1 hr for a 10 second ride. Other than the long lines it's a blast.
Parking "parking" $ 25
Tickets $ 45 daily ticket + -
Lockers $ 11 sm $ 13 m $ 20 large
Life float (saves lives) $ 8 single $ 13 double
plus $ 2 deposit.
Beer $ 12.99
The place is very nice it has many attractions, but you have to arrive early to grab a good place, recommended for all ages, I just think that with what we paid for the entrance they should not charge the lives and the Lockers are a bit expensive , you can not pass with any food, just water!
On a hot sunny day, a good place to cool off. The park wasn't as big as I expected it but the rides were fun. The line for the rides were short on Sunday, tried each rides twice.
Great fun! Just dont expect to eat when you come here. Their food options are so incredibly slow, you could drive to Discovery Kingdom walk to the gates from the parking lot, use your membership to get inside, then go to their eateries and get a meal then drive back and reenter Hurricane Harbor. Before they served three people food.
It is very crowded on the weekends, hard to get food, and bad customer service Saturday's, and Sundays. If you want to have a good time, go on a weekday.
