Six Flags New England Review

2 years ago I wrote about the park having rude employees including management. I guess someone saw that review because last year I went back...A LOT...and had a FREAKIN' BLAST on all but my first and last visit (so...that's over 10 amazing visits)

Unlike two years ago, this time I'M ACTUALLY EXCITED FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON so hopefully it's like 2018...AND NOT 2016!!!

The park was nice a little expensive and there are not many rides that accommodate bigger people

Great place, pricey food and drinks but that s what you get at amusement parks.. awesome rides, when busy the lines can be brutal

Great day with my granddaughter and her friends.... Fun with light crowds...

Daughter came home yesterday from Six Flags New England saying she spent to much money. When I asked what she bought she stated food. They wouldn't let her in with the 2 sandwiches and 2 plastic bottles of water. Are you f****n kidding me. $35 dollars later and I got smoke coming out of my ears. 18 year old working as a summer camp counsellor making minimum wage taking 50 kids to an amusement park. Chicken fingers and fries for $20!!! Unbelievable. Last time my family goes to any Six Flags.

The water park is amazing the best ride from water park is tornado , the theme park isn t that good only good rides are Harley Queen and Superman !

Dont know what the new policy is on food but they are not aloud to change the menu on food items for instance if you want lettuce and it doesnt come with it they cant give it to you. WTH is that. So what they cant afford to put tomato on your sandwich if it doesnt come with it?

This may not ben the largest Six Flags out there, but this one sure packs a punch! A great collection of unique rollercoasters (including Superman - many times voted as best in the world) and several other rides made that we really had a fun day out there!

Definitely fun! You gotta spend a lot of money to get the best experience but if you got the cash it's a fun day trip.

Had a blast here. The park is clean and well maintained and the staff were helpful. Food and drink are available, at the normal amusement park rates. Overall a very good experience!

Formerly Riverside, this is a chain amusement park. It has what you would expect - rides, junk food, water rides in season, game stalls, etc. Most of the costumes characters seen are Looney Tunes - while I remember them fondly, the little kids don't know them as well and it shows. The park does have a little kids area with rides even toddler can go on which is nice. Food options are what you would expect; no outside food is allowed even for dietary restrictions - if you can't eat their food, they tell you to bring what you need and leave it in your car - do when you want to eat, you go so the way back to your car, eat there, and wait in line to re-enter the park. I went in June and while the park had been open for several weeks already, the for service staff was clueless and there weren't enough of them. They were out of some items - but didn't post that information anywhere. They were 2 staff prepping food and taking money for one of the larger food stalls which was not enough by half. Napkin dispensers were empty, no straws, the soda machines (all 4 in this one stall) were out of every non-caffinated soda... It was awful. Some staff are allergen aware but many are not.

Had a great time. Warm night, brights lights. A must-see.

They have rides for big kids and little kids. It is a little crowded and they don't have very many shows for the non thrill seekers but our family still had fun.

Some rides have a long wait but but over all not bad food is pricey but if you plan on going more than 3 times a year buy a season pass and a food pass so worth it

Not only a great park in the SF network, one of the best parks on the East Coast. As a coast enthusiast, this is one of my favorite places, always a good time.

Place is epic! But also your typical trap for things like food and shops. The rides are world class and the water park is huge! It is more money, but if you really want to hit all the rides, the "Flash" pass is a must.

Holiday in the park was fun. Sure you had to wait until it was dark enough for Lights, but well worth the wait. Their still running the tram into the park bridge to shorten your walk, and the fresh cut pine smell when you enter the park really puts you into the spirit. A few coasters were open, Riddler's 4D mind eraser Batman thunderbolt harly quins whip tiki fireball Houdini tomahawk teacups holiday train and all little kids rides were open. No Superman Goliath or other rides in that area. Fire pits with overpriced s'mores hot coco bread bowls $5 horse rides etc. But good family fun

Lot of fun if you like theme parks. Great choice for dates and family trips.

We love going to six flags. We always end up getting flash passes though and the only complaint this time was with them sometimes we had a longer wait them just going to the line and some rides you just merge into a line so your wait is actually longer. For example for joker we waited until our flash pass said ready then went to the flash pass line but had to merge with the normal line so still had a wait. This also happened on Gauntlet. We got to ride the new Cyborg ride and weren't impressed at all. Long wait inside A hot building with a lot of people sweating. The ride was not worth the wait. We expected the inside to be more than just a couple strobe lights and TV monitors. Plus it was a very short ride. Harley Quinn is an awesome new ride since we were there last. I wasn't able to get on wicked cyclone because of the belts being to small. A lot of the coasters the belts barely fit me. I'm not A huge person so I think six flags should look into that.

had a nice time but everything was dirty... makes you wonder about the ride maintenance

The roller-coaster are amazing, but the food service is not. The restrooms are also really messy and not clean at all.

Great park and fun rides. Disappointed that there were rides that we had to lift my daughter's entire stroller over the railing to make it through and that I was told (after injuring my ankle) that I couldn't bring my daughter's stroller onto the tram unless I folded it up (it doesn't really fold and we had been allowed to ride it earlier). I had a very long, painful hobble back to the parking area. Also, I was told this after we had gotten her stroller into the tram. It's not like it didn't fit. I also noticed that on some of their older rides (like the wooden roller coaster), the belts weren't long enough to fit some of the larger guests that attempted to use them (who were definitely not the largest people I saw there, so I'm not talking about just the few biggest). This seems like a potential safety hazard. I know that my complaints take up the bulk of my review, but it really was a fun experience and we enjoyed our vacation there!

I hate rollercoaster soon as I'm here its like everything goes away. We got little kids telling you can do it haha.

My family drove 3 hours for them to all of a sudden say they're closed at the last second. They said they had closed at 11:30 but never said it on their website until 2 when they opened. Never going here again. Very disappointing.

Nice looking park with some good rides but that is where it ends. Ride operations are some of the worst we have ever seen with nobody having an urgency to keep the lines moving. The accessibility ride program is horrid and kept my handicapped son from being able to ride nearly anything.

The park was clean, and it does have fun rides. However, prices for everything were outrageously high, there is almost no posting of ride wait times ( the few fixed wait time signs were terribly inaccurate), the bath house at the watermark entrance was way too small for the needs of the crowd. The brief weather closure of many of the rides was not the park's fault, but there was no public announcement, and the staff continued to say certain rides were closed when they had reopened. In short, the rides will not only test your stamina, they will also put a severe dent in your patience and your wallet.

As the three star rating indicates, "it's ok." The rides are pretty good, though line management is poor. Avoid the food. It's terrible quality and overpriced, even for an amusement park. The service at the food stands is horrible, too. They lost our order twice on a recent trip, and they didn't even seem to care.

Nice amusement park with some great rides. It wasn't very disabled friendly. If you have someone with you that needs to use ramps you'll end up walking a lot further. Bumps in the walkways can be dangerous if someone uses a walker.

All shops and very little rides that are either slow or closed.

Not as good as the NJ one, but still you can have a great experience! Do not forget the mind eraser!

I've been going to this park for years and have always loved it. Their new additions of Harley Quinn and The Joker are amazing! Harley Quinn is a bit disappointing, but still a fun ride. The park is a little bit dirty and can be hard to navigate without a map or without experience, however, there is always something of interest. Queues are always really long especially for the rides like Superman or Batman (Batman tends to move faster though).

the super man ride was crazy stay away from the joker ride makes you feel you gonna fall out. The Riddler formerly the mind eraser is one of my favorites . If you are a chicken but wanna ride a coaster lol ride the Catwoman lol . The water park is awesome and I suggest you a dimand pass you get private seating that was awesome and special parking. The diamond pass gives you a meal a snack and unlimited drinks in the park the best deal period . The Harley Quinn is bannaas it's like the sea dragon but it's spins it's sort of like the tomahawk on steroids must ride it

Everything was perfect but operations are slow. Longer wait time on rides.

One of the best amusement parks that I've ever been to. Take the diamond membership if you dont want to walk half a mile just to get to the park.

Superman was super fun and the Flash Pass was well worth it. We got on every ride with no wait.

Dont go in hurricane harbor, they have pointless 10 minute safety breaks every hour in the pools, the water slide lines are soooo long. The rides such as Bizarro, wicked cyclone, batman, etc are the reason to come.

Long lines ,food is expensive ,it just seems like everything you do there cost money lots of money it's not cheap oh well greed greed greed

Great park. A little smaller than the one in California though. Definitely do the flash pass on weekends.

A lot of fun and all but we had 3 "minor" difficulties on 3 different rides which accounted for over 80% of our waiting time. Each one was roughly 30-40 minutes so not really on top of things when I went.

It's a place to get away for a day to enjoy or relive your youth. The new ride Goliath is definitely a must ride, but you have to be in the front to get the full trill out of the ride

It's rained while we were there so it was just an ok visit. But all in all it's a way worth it park if you have the opportunity. I went the very next day and had a BLAST!!

This place is diagramed my family for our race and how my mother is a lesbian. They where so rude and condescending telling my mother to cancel her first pass to add dining and she was force to go back to consumer service to ask why they cancelled her dining again the they told her again she have to cancel the brand new pass charging her again where she should not I feel like they where personal attacking her as their was another woman next to her having the same problem but they just fix it up with no cancel of her own pass and now my mother doesn't even enough to feed her family as she was charge three three times! We are never comminh back again this place is disgusting how they treat people

A fantastic amusement park if you like adrenaline, the water park is very fun

Me and a group of friends went on July 28 of this year and one of the members in our group is a heavier set person, almost every rollercoaster/ride he had difficulty getting into a seat and when the employees of the ride would help, if they even did, they would be extremely rude when visibly larger persons were on the ride as well resulting in him being asked multiple times to leave. One especially on the riddler was rude to half the party, not even that member saying things like that s not my job when asked for help. We spent two hours driving to get there to have a fun day together and we were greeted with absurdly rude employees who couldn t care less about the riders. Would give 0 stars if I could. -1000/5

Only 4 stars because height limits are different from other parks

Most of the rides didn't work and it just didn't have enough rides like the new jersey one does.

Very fun! Expensive but the Members program is the best way to go and sign up! I always make time to ride the superman, long wait is so worth it!!

A well signposted place, with usable restrooms, perfect water park. Grade 10.

Worth Every Penny. Make sure to get a dining pass for the most worth while experience.

WTF Six Flags?! 10 empty seats in this train! Not the only one. Do a better job managing your crowds and rides!!!

Went up for Holidays in the Park. The park was beautifully lit. I was a bit disappointed with how few coasters they had going, but at least my favorites were running. Also the park opened at 2pm, when I went to look for dinner at 5pm many restaurants were saying they were out of different food. No salads at the BBQ, No potatoes for their holiday prime rib meal, and no ice anywhere. I do not understand how a park can be opened for three hours and already run out of food items.
