I shop here frequently and would say that at times this Luckys is very quiet and very great for a quick shop but there are times where the produce is not up to par. Overall I do like the store it is always very neat and the people here are always helpful. Parking here is never a hassle and they always have what I need. Overall I've never had a bad experience shopping at this Luckys.

Veggies are expensive here. You can get good deals on some items like chicken and alcohol.

I only go here if I need to get something really quick otherwise staff isn't always friendly and some reason there's always a line

Very clean and orderly, with great customer service.

It was peaceful. Wish every thing out side was as peaceful. But yea they r doing a good job keeping it clean.

Lots of renovations going on, might get them to 5 star soon

Wish our Luckys looked this great..this is a very clean store and has everything..shelves are always stocked.

Even though I am going through a difficult financial period in my life and have to rely on government assistance through the SNAP program, the store employees never look down on me or make me feel bad like others do. This store is wonderful, clean and efficient.

This particular Lucky's is bigger than most Lucky's, cleaner, better-than-average neighborhood, etc.

Even if a customer brings in his own bag it would be appreciated if you provided small plastic bags for fresh dripping meat containers.

Don't like the extra stuff they put in the aisle way. It clogs the aisle and sometimes blocks out what you need. Get rid of them please.

This store is like most the stores I've been in the last few years , none of the worker's are checking due dates to take items off the selves... Are they trying to make people sick? Or our they just there to pick up a pay check?

This is my local market. Clean store (just finished its remodel. New fridges, freezers, floors, etc.) friendly staff. Gene, the Store Director, runs a tight ship. The one and only ongoing issue I keep running up against are the Curiosity Clerks, aka "baggers". Nice enough kids but damn, common sense isn't so very common. Cold with cold, cans and the like on the bottom, eggs, bread, chips... on top.

If the choice is them or me bagging... I find asking the CC to go grab me a "left handed" toothbrush or a 15lb. cornish game hen a quick, polite and mildly amusing way to get them out of the way long enough that's there's nothing for them to bag. To this day, not one of them has made it back before I'm done and out the door. LOL!

This Lucky location is my go-to! I live closer to the Snell location but Bernal is bigger, more organized, always stocked, and the staff is amazing. This location has the best customer service and happiest employees. They actually help when they see you need help without having to ask them. Judy went above and beyond today and helped me with my items out to the car because my daughter was getting fussy. She is so sweet and has great customer service and deserves either a raise or promotion. Thank you guys for helping get me out right before it started to rain! You all rock!

Got deals on beef... sometimes prime rib on sale for 6.99 and New York steak 5.99

Very clean and bright store. The set up is a bit scattered but they have a good selection of items and the shelves are always fully stocked..You can also get some gift items here also.

Inventory spread out in a disorganized manner.... Many items picked over and out of place. Entered south doors only to find them locked when exiting. Self checkout machines confusing and tedious. Multiple software glitches while scanning items. Won't be back nor recommend to others....

Generally clean, friendly staff, and decent prices. Convenient grocery store serving the southern tip of San Jose.

Lucky is very pricey!!! It's cheaper at Safeway. I went around 9pm thinking I'd be out fast yet long line 1 cashier. She had to call out 2times in order to get another cashier to help her. Dont plan on going back.

All the workers are very friendly love them all they are like family

My experience here was terrible.
Went in to pick up a chicken dinner meal at the deli. There was several people waiting to be service, it took the person ( heavy set young guy with short hair.) behind the counter 10 min to even acknowledge me and the other people waiting and all he could say was " I'll be with you guys soon as you can see I'm the only person back here." I would completely understand if he's the only person working and he was helping another customer. But the entire time he was making a sandwich for another one of your employee (heavy set girl with brown hair.) and they were just chit chatting. Even when that girl went behind the counter your customer wasn't getting service. You would think your customer would be more of a priority... Either way I got fed up and left. Won't be coming here anymore

Think how you pay more to avoid Wal-Mart by going to Target. It's like that but you are avoiding the lines at Safeway instead.

Don t be fooled by the super sketchy parking lot, it s quite nice inside.

They had what I was looking for in stock. I don't really ever go into lucky's. The place was well lit and well stocked. All the fruit was very fresh, the apples are wonderful. I would absolutely shop here in the future. The staff was very friendly as well. Everything was very clea, big plus there.

Very clean.. None of the workers were nice or friendly. Ayanna was very rude. I hate when I dont get a smile or or have a nice day after I tell them.. Wont go back..

Chicken smell like a chicken farm after I was done cooking. Not sure if the organic make any different. First time buying it.

Been coming here for a long time. I think they don't have many selections like Safeway or Nobhill when it comes to organic stuff and just other things in general. So now they finally renovated the store. It is definitely nicer with new refrigerators. It is now called lucky California. They will also have on line ordering soon too. They definitely upgraded and it is getting better. Hopefully they will have more stuff as well.

Everybody was wearing bras on their face and not enough check stands were open

Standard fare for a supermarket, with a bakery, seafood section, produce, and the usual meats and other food. They recently remodeled so the display for many perishable items looks much cleaner.

Lots of parking. Large grocery store meets drug store. Large floral and greeting card selection.

The staff is kind and very healpful. The food quality is very good and the variety of foods is okay. However every thing is seriously way over priced in the extreme. I spent $110 here for the exact same items I bought in Safeway a week ago that only cost me $78. So a definite cost difference.

Big store and expensive despite a not so great neighborhood. Located inside a boring shopping center. Unsafe parking lot. Ugly exterior.

At least they offer Salt and Vinegar wings. Just make sure they cook'em thru.

Most people don't like to grocery shop I love this place. The selection is awesome.

Went to this store to get prime rib that was on sale. Have never cooked it before. The butcher was very helpful in helping me pick a cut of meat and even instructions on cooking it. Turned out beautifully. Thanks for all the help.

I go here for quick trips..The staff is not always nice. So I go very rarely and not for a full shopping trip

This grocery store has had reasonable lines every time I've been. The aisles are always stocked with exactly what one would hope for from a standard grocery store.

Produce overpriced and over fresh, meats close to expiring and not looking good. Not happy with the grocery selection, quality and prices!

A little bit more expensive than other similar stores, but Lucky is convenient because is near to the hotel and it has all the necessary.

Very nice employees. They bag your items which always catches me off guard. The fruits are a little pricey I usually fine better pricing but good deals on meat and other items. Always clean inside.

It was great. The place is really organized. My only gripe was the woman behind the register didn't seem to look too happy to see me though. I'm sure she was tired because it was about 10:30pm. There's also a charging station for electric cars to the right of the building. All in all a really good place for grocery shopping.

I live nearby this lucky the cashiers here are lazy unprofessional unhelpful and the Baggers are the worst they are lousy at bagging and unprofessional as well. The cashiers and the baggers ignore the customer by talking to each other and ignoring the customers. Ever since the owner piccininni passed away the company has gone downhill since his daughter and children took over. They care more about themselves and the money then the company and the customers and the employees. The owner cared more about the customers and the employees then anything else. But that is gone now since his children took over the company.

Huge great store, Great Prices, and has everything you need.

Doordash recently added grocery stores' delicatessen items including Lucky's to their delivery service. You have to be careful and figure out when some items like the really popular potato wedges restock so that you know the right time to order. Lucky's, like Safeway, has made to order customizable sandwiches. But unlike Safeway, Lucky's offers multiple spread options and they have rotisserie chicken salad among their options. You get these sandwiches cut in half and ready to eat. Potato wedges come in a pound and are massive. Just with one made to order sandwich and one pound of potato wedges you get a very filling meal. I wish drink options were more than just the can they offer, but otherwise the food here is incredible.

This store is everything and then some!! Love love love it!!!

This pharmacy always helps me with everything I need if I have a problem they will go out of their way to fix it!
