Don't miss their Splash show. The best performance...
Don't miss their Splash show. The best performance I've seen by a sea lion. Good facilities.

The perfect place for the kids and to reconnect with the flora and animals. Despite the heat, the shady foliage and many kiosks kept us cool and hydrated. The kids loved the wagon and made it easy for us to bring them around. Will be back again real soon!
The best zoo I've been to!
My husband and I went for breakfast with the orangutans, if you like the before, you will fall in love with them! Brilliant experience! although 9-12 is not enough time to enjoy the rest of the zoo though!
Definitely not quite a place for Adults looking for adventure but a good interactive zoo for family and kids to have a wonderful time.
Had a great day here spent about 5 hours walking round and looking at all the animals could have spent longer
Had a fantastic day at Singapore Zoo. The animals are beautifully kept. It is entirely non-contact so that there is no altering of their natural behaviour. The keepers are knowledgeable and experienced and always happy to answer questions. A lovely place to have a day out and a must see on your vacation. Do NOT miss it. Just remember, there is lots of walking involved. So carry shoes.
Go with friends n family. Lovely place to spend the day
The best zoo I have ever been to, Taronga zoo in Sydney doesn't even compete with this zoo.
One of the best zoo I have ever visited, very clean and got a wide variety of animals. Recommend taking the toy train as you will get tired of walking.
I have been to the Singapore Zoo everytime I visit Singapore and its always such a great experience! They take such good care of the animals and their enclosures. They have great Animal shows too , educating and encouraging conservation. Make sure that you go back for the Night Safari too!!
The way developed place is too nature friendly. You can see animal very closely.
It s a very big place. Apparently the zoo was built around a natural habitat for the animals. You have to be careful when walking around. Read the signs and watch the ground.
Superb experience for everyone.. See all the animals closely.. A wide variety of animals.. Note the show timings before you start the visit.. All shows are good... Don't miss any.. See the animals Roaming in their habitat... Not in cages like other zoos.. Very neat and safe place.. Take Team rides if you are lazy to walk.. It's always good to walk... Small Waterpark for kids also.. Come in early so you don't miss anything
One of the best zoo's I've been to. We went for the breakfast with the orangutans AMAZING. couldn't reccomend it more. There are lots of animals i haven't seen at any other zoo. Just take a water bottle and fill up all the time.
Amazing zoo with tons of extra activities to do. Really well mantain.
Great place for a family trip with your children. Theres even a water theme park. Remember to bring your swim wear or you can buy there.
Animals seen well treated, loads of options to chill, food with different prices, nice souvenir stores, easy to get there by bus I definitely enjoy it!
1st visit after Circuit Breaker period. Not much to see but still a good day out for the family. Weather was kind to us. With the small kids and the crowd, i would still give it 4 stars as the kids enjoyed it.
We didnt have the chance to watch the animal shows as it was 1st come to get the tickets.
One of the best zoo i have ever visited. Must visit of you are touring Singapore. We can see animals real close and very well maintained zoo
Great collection of mammal and reptiles. Especially, a lots of endangered turtles are breeding there successfully.
As a Singaporean, I've been here many times already. However, I still enjoy every trip and have different experiences each time! As long as you go with an open mind, you're sure to take home interesting and happy memories! Don't forget to look up in the trees where you might just spot some monkeys freely climbing around!
Absolutely the best zoo we have ever been to. Amazing. Worth every minute
Very nice place, must visit when you visit Singapore
ZOO is must place to visit during your stay in Singapore. Great place to spend time. Will like both adults and children, as well. You can go on the way to the airport. There is a luggage storage. Perfect three hours of walking.
Welcome back! Open now after being closed during the circuit breaker. Still not at 100%, with many shows and eateries closed, and tram is not running. But all the animals are still there, and it's wonderful to see it back in any form. Still a great day out if you're an animal or nature lover.
Gorgeous zoo! The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the whole day. I'm really a child at heart and the exhibits were grouped together nicely, were bright and interesting. I actually would totally come again and the wild monkeys that live there were such a highlight to see.
The only downside were parents weren't watching their little children and one girl got hit on the head by a monkey. He presented all the signs and she kept walking towards him. The father just laughed! What?!?
Great and spacious zoo with various animals from all around the world. Lot of feeding the animals activities that are great for children
What a great experience! I always consider the most important part of a zoo to be how it takes care of its animals, and this one seems to do an excellent job. The zoo has lots of open areas (Singapore zoo is cage free), and the enclosures for the large animals all seem adequately sized. Animals live in the area and are not forced to come out so everyone can see them, so you might not see all the animals when you come visit. A wide array of animals can be found here along with lots of events, feeding times to watch (and some to participate in for a fee), and lots of information. The animals are treated with respect and the events are educational, focusing on conversation and environment in addition to entertainment.
There were very few people when I visited, so I never felt crowded. There may have been 50-100 people, but the zoo is so large that there are were only a few people in my vicinity at all times. I felt like the price was fair considering the level of treatments the animals get. Definitely a place I would regularly visit if I lived in Singapore. Great experience.
One of the best memories of my life. Must visit place in Singapore. I would recommend that a person must spend one full day, and slowly view everything. Food was really good too.
Visited the Reptopia exhibit today - recently renovated, with informative digital signboards and interactive exhibits to explain how illegal wildlife trading harms animals. Check out the pictures for samples of what you can see in Reptopia - there's plenty more to discover in Reptopia and the rest of the Zoo as well!
I find that the Zoo is a great place to take the kids as it's not just about seeing the animals - it's also about appreciating the diversity of life on our planet and how we can take better care of our environment.
The staff at the Zoo always make us feel welcome and today was no exception. After seeing our membership pass, one staff member addressed my son by name when offering him a map - this is customer service done right.
Best zoo ive every been to. Plenty of room for the precious animals
The best zoo I have been too and I consider myself quite the zoo junkie :) The animals seemed so happy and well looked after in large, lush green enclosures.
Good clean with a lot of show's I strongly recommend to visit it in Singapore
Wonderful place must Visit if you plan to come on trip to Singapore
A must go place if you are in Singapore!!!
Nice place to go, honestly the best of the three Mandai parks (soon to be 5, with the Jurong bird park being moved there and a new Rainforest Safari being built)
Really great exhibits, especially the elephant exhibit. The rest of the zoo is also pretty great. The reptile house and the fragile forest exhibits are 2 of the best in the zoo. The cage-less concept is also extremely innovative, but you can still see the increased security at the exhibits of potentially dangerous animals, such as the lions and leopards.
Sadly the animal shows are a bit lacklustre, but since the shows are free to attend, why not?
However, only one complaint.
The Orangutan exhibit is very open-concept, with a bridge between two area stretching over the walkway. That's good and all, but what happens if the orangutan decides that it wants to take a piss while on the bridge? It pees onto the pedestrian walkway, and if people are unlucky enough, on the pedestrians themselves.
Thankfully there's a restaurant nearby, named after the sadly deceased star orangutan, Ah Meng. The restaurant obviously has toilets, so if you get pissed on (or off) onto you, you can clean up there while ignoring all the funny looks you get from the pungent smell of orangutan urine that emits from your soaked clothes.
But other than that one experience that I've had, it's an amazing place to visit, easily one of the best zoos in the world!!!
The zoo itself is fascinating and it so big... You cannot go there and take it for one day only
Open enclosures allowing easy viewing of almost all animals. The Splash Safari show is a must watch. Tram has four stops but you have to walk to explore each area, hence I would not advice to buy the tram ticket unless you are in a rush. The Rift Valley of Ethiopia turned out be a new find for me.
There are token feeding sessions at different intervals where you can purchase and feed the animals.
Best Zoo I have ever visited. It is huge so great that the animals have space. A map is a must and good walking shoes. Best to take/buy trolley tickets and do a round on them to get your bearings and note which areas or animals you want to visit. The trolley takes about 25 minutes to do a round so gives you the size of the zoo when you walk. Wonderful experience and taking a tour as I did was very helpful as one gets a lot of background and the guide ensures you won't get lost getting in, as it can be confusing even though everything is signposted in English.
Asia's best and could even be the best in the world.
1 day's worth of visit just alone for the Zoo.
Many free roaming animals around, shows and shelters available. Plan your visit and many stuff for kids to do at Kidzworld too.
Its ok to bring your own food in, just don't be too close to free roaming animals. Water dispensers readily around so bring your own bottle!
Will I be back? Yes.
Kids love this place? Yes.
Place hot and humid? Yes.
Food and drinks expensive? Yes. Which park isn't.
Clean toilets available? Yes.
Ample parking? Yes.
Very impressive layout with opportunity to be close to the animals (:
5-star Singapore attraction, for both tourists and Singaporeans. Excellent free-to-roam exhibits for most animals. The animal show has been pretty much the same for years: time for an upgrade. Elephant show is lots of fun with the cheeky elephants. Food & drinks are quite expensive, expect to pay up to $10 per person for a lunchbox. Bring your own water as the weather is hot.
We love all the shows and the place is clean! My son loves to visit there very often n we are happy to bring him over!
What's there to say about arguably the best zoo in the world! Really loved all the enclosures and friendliness of the zoo crew. Shows full up early due to there being less seats.
One of the greatest zoos around. Special place with generous enclosures and a rotating group of animals in a lush tropical setting. Good way to spend a day.
Singapore Zoo is one of the most stunning Zoos in the world. They pride themselves in making the animals habitats as open and natural as possible. A terrific collection of animals, birds, reptiles....The list goes on. A must do is breakfast with the Orangutans to start you day adventure.
Great place to visit as a tourist. The river safari is a waste of time and money for those who try to see something new; Peace lovers can give it a try. Some animals and birds are allowed to free roam, so that the visitors get a live experience. Highly recommended place for one time visit
Not much animals to experience. Many shows and activities are suspended due to COVID situation.
There are so many animals which cannot be found in our usual environment...I also very satisfied with animal shows that give me a wider perspective of how these animals have their own intelligence
Superb zoo prepare yourself for 6 hours of continuous walk
Variety of animals.
Superb shows.
You can use tram safari tp roam around and there in tram you can listen to the bio of animals around that too in 5 different languages.
Rainforest dome was out of the world.
But the thing which I liked most was the way this zoo is creating awareness of animal conservations.
World class Zoo! Definitely a must visit for all people coming to Singapore!
Kids paradise.. Most beautiful zoo i have ever seen
Very well planned zoo. Check out the sea lion and the elephant show for sure. Try giraffe feeding.
Great zoo. Lots animals. Clean place and cozy. Nice staff.
We visit the Singapore Zoo a few times a year. It's a great place to go with children. This time round, the kids enjoyed the Mammoth Adventure back in time. They had fun with the games, crafts and photo-taking with the prehistoric animals.
If it's your first trip to the Singapore Zoo, don't miss the shows and animal feedings. And have breakfast with the Orangutans.
Worth going if you qre visiting Singapore and have a few hours available.
Great Zoo. Not a Zoo enthusiast by any means but this one has a enjoyable presentation, large variety of animals, and a beautiful tropical and natural setting.
What else can I say, great for kids! But charge up the night before or else you will run out of energy!
Crowd control was in place, very relax and enjoyed the visit
Singapor zoo is also one of the better tourism spot where you will be able to have a closer look at the wild life animals and birds too.
The best part is that they provide us entertaining show's what makes this place more interesting and informative too.
My experience here was not that great overall but the sea lion show performance was lit af a must watch show if you ever had a visit at this zoo
More than a zoo, this place looks like a park, or a natural reserve. Nature is all around. Efforts seems to have been done to make the zoo unique, in the respect of the animals. Crocodiles are under the bridge, apes accross the river, or roaming in the trees. You wouldn't maybe know it's a special place unless you would have visited sad zoos with animals in cage in other places of the world.
The Zoo is large with plenty to see and do. Great facilities and plenty of places to eat. I was disappointed in having to wait an hour to get a kids pull cart. Cuetomer Service was average.
A very fun place to bring families. Many food that can keep your stomach full. Children get very engaged as they see animals up close.
Good place to see animals in there almost natural habitat. Kids will enjoy. Best time to visit weekdays morning
Lots of closures prolly due to covid situation. Rain and no refunds. Bad day for a visit. Even the monkeys are emotional. Emo monkey as shown in exhibit A.
Very educative. Children friendly. The shows are enjoyable. Varied animal species. Loved the dinosaur simulation and the way each territory was maintained.
The enclosures are natural barriers. You rarely see cages. Best to see the animals during feeding time, where they are most active.
Truly a unique zoo experience! It really give a close experience with animals and exhibits. If miss an exhibit, you missed a amazing experience!
Nice place to visit and bring your family. Very clean and well kept. Wanted to see the elephant show but the seats were all full, wish there were more space provided.
Very interesting place for kids, they learn a lot about wildlife, habitats, animals, climate, forests etc etc, lot of good eateries, place is maintained super clean. Staffs are friendly and loving. This place is must see for anybody who comes to Singapore for first time.
Absolutely amazing. Fantastic. You need to be there to understand the feeling. Had breakfast with Orangutans addition to the trip. The buffet was ok but clicking a pic with Orangutans was great. The zoo is spacious very well designed with every facility given a consideration.
The animal shows and the environment in which they are kept shows the effort that is put in by everyone.
Keep the standards maintained WRS.
Great zoo, lots of animals and shows. Very entertaining for little kids, also awesome playground!
Big place, lot of animals in a well maintained and clean environment..roads are neat.. enough drinking water and toilets for public, eateries.... special shows . So good..
Went here for River safari and night Safari, the Amazon ride in the river safari was fun and night Safari is a must watch
A bit over rated. The Singapore zoo is less of a zoo more of a well landscaped area. It is huge and one wastes a lot of time walking. there are food areas and shops everywhere. Live shows are average not Disney level. If visiting Singapore for a shorter duration, can be avoided. Weather is hot so walking around takes a toll
there're many kinds of animals in the zoo.. but I'm worried if they put the dangerous animals like tigers and lions in a safe place. It's like they can jump to the visitor places if they tried hard enough..
Best zoo in the world. You should walk for kms. Must visit in Singapore.
First time here to attend Epson Regional Team Building with #JambarTeam, this zoo has many types of animals that don t exist in Indonesia
Wow what an amazing place, this must be the best zoo i have ever visitied. Animals have fantastic areas and everyone here is super friendly!
Had fun! It was raining a little but was still fine. There are some places that are indoor or paths with shelter. Very nice place to come in weekend :)
This Zoo is well-known for its various types of animals and one of the best zoo of Asian Region.
This is a solid 5 stars. Well worth a 5-6 hour visit. Great enclosures, interesting animals and well presented.
In my opinion the best thing to see in Singapore.
A few tips:
Taxi from downtown is about $19- 25 (Singapore dollars). Well worth it. Don t bother with shuttles or transit.
Go mid morning ( before lunch) so you have enough time to see it and not rush.
Don t purchase the tram ticket. Walk. It s much better and $5 cheaper.
Do bring an umbrella if there is rain in the forecast.
Enjoy!!
Such a fun way to spend a few hours, no matter how old you are. So much for everyone of different ages and if you can book early enough there's a chance to feed some of the animals too.
The best zoo i have ever visited. I have been visiting the zoo every year. The experience is great and in a close natural setting, without the zoo cage feeling. And u can have very close encounters with the animals!
one of best zoo in the region, if not the best. projected to have 4 parks together (includes the bird park ( from 2020). never a dull moment...
Of all the places in Singapore this was my favourite. Animal shows are great. Staff is amazing.
