Jock out some ti.e fir tgis ine, if you plan ti di the night zoo after a good note to consider is the zoo closed at 6pm abd the first available trolly for the night zoo is at 7:30. I recomend taking your time and eat dinner at some of the local food courts then doing the night zoo st 8pm. This way you miss some of the crowds and standing in line.

It's supposed to be one of the best zoo in the world but I personally find it okay only. Nothing fascinating for me. It is also regrettable that the polar bear has passed away.

We did the Night Safari. While it is really neat to get that close to the animals, you realize it's a totally inauthentic experience. The animals are unnaturally tranquil, and the elephant is clearly trained to put on a show. Meanwhile you get a lecture played on the overhead speakers reminding you of how humans are destroying the earth and all of its creatures. Donate to a validated animal charity rather than this.

The Singapore Zoo has the widest collection of animal soft toys in Singapore.

One of the most do attractions in Singapore, this place is huge and you gotta walk a lot, by lot I mean a lot almost 10-12 kms. do carry water with you. They have almost all the animals you have heard off, amazing shows which kids will love in case you have kids with you, good food too.

Be ready to spend a morning walking through the exhibits - if you plan it correctly, you can visit the zoo, River safari then followed by the night safari all in one day. Food options are limited currently, and at the time of covid, entry is in timed tranches.

The Zoo itself was very good. Animal enclosures seemed humaine and there was no indication of mistreatment... It was well designed and layed out. Out baby especially enjoyed the butterfly enclosure and white lions.
The biggest disappointment/frustration of the day was trying to leave. The park closes at 6 so everyone was leaving around the same time - they've made no arrangements for taxis for the masses. There were about 60 people waiting for taxis to leave. All families because we can't always simply get a Grab etc.... In the 40 minutes we waited not a single unbooked cab arrived. Only booked. Everyone had to send for themselves and try to book - which was near impossible and when it finally did work, very expensive...
It took us 45 mins to just get on the road to leave the Zoo. With a 9 month old at bed time... far from ideal. It ruined our entire experience. They should have some kind of arrangement with the taxi company - I'm sure this is not the first time it's happened...

Fun place to see animals up close but somewhat depressing at the same time when you see them locked up in cages. Sentiments aside, it's a world class zoo that families are sure to enjoy.

I entered River Safari. Honestly I did not like two Panda are caged in a chill house, they must be annoyed so much by the visitors. However, looks like the management really do take care of all animals, so here goes the five-stars rating for this place.
I love free cruise offered by the zoo if we purchase River Safari ticket. There was also a show but very crowded so I almost did not see anything except the crowd.

Suggest to take 2 days for the 4 parks. Spend a whole afternoon until evening in the zoo - with enough time to have leisurely walks across the zoo instead of the trams (unless you have difficulties to have long walks). Has enough spots to have refreshments and finger food too. Best in weekdays.

It was so beautiful that you will find most of the animals in the world in just this one place. I saw many animals for first time such as Tapir, anteater from the Amazon forests. From Savannah grasslands to Amazon rainforests you will find the animals here. And not to forget take Night Safari too. It was memorable and very pleasant.

This is a world class zoo! Definitely one of the well maintained zoo that I have visited so far. Aside from the stressed animals in the live shows (all zoos normally have shows), the animals look like they are well taken care of. The place is huge and there are lots of animals to see.

Very nice place. Visited this, river and night safari in an afternoon! Beautiful. I suggest to buy the combo tickets( Parkhopper plus) if you don't want to wait in long lines just to buy tickets. It also has tram rides and boat rides which reduces waiting time. Book ahead of your dates. The tickets are valid 30 days from the booking date so you don't have to rush to see all the places in one day.

My wife and I had the breakfast with the Orangutans experience. Not something I would pay for again. Too crowded, getting there early and being the first ones was a waste of time because you are seated as per reserved seats unlike the statement on the website stating earlier you get there the better your seats.

All in all a good attraction.

An attraction for all ages, be it tourist or citizen. There is a huge variety of animals here, from the well-known orang-utan to emus and white tigers. Also a good place to bring children and the family.

Brilliant zoo from a customer point of view. Enclosures designed to get you up close to the animals. Timed shows during the day (included in ticket price) are definitely worth attending.

Be prepared to spend the whole day there, great for a family time, photographer can test their skills,being in touch with nature.
Try f getting all the 4 parks ticket. May work out to be cheaper.

Grate place for family with children. It is very educational about wild life and natural environment but not boring. If your family is in Singapore, may i to buy friends of wild life membership. And it is difficult to cover the whole zoo in one day. There is also river safari and night safari. It's worth spending time to see each type of creatures .

Zoo is small but a lot of different kinds of animals to meet in a super limited landscape. You can complete the whole zoo whithin two hour, but the animals variety and activities can let you enjoy the zoo almost half or more of your day. Definitely worth a visit!

Singapore Zoo was massive and it took me a whole day to explore the area! It was drizzling when I was there, but the rain made the atmosphere even better. There's a lot of shelters around, so just bring a raincoat or an umbrella if it ever rains. I truly enjoyed my time here.

Went to the river safari. It's great. Loved the pandas.

It was definitely some of the best zoos I ve been to. The navigation was good. Easy to walk to cover the whole zoo in 3.5 hours.

This was such an amazing zoo one of the best i have seen. I think its got the biggest man made waterfall and inside outside bird cage. This is on par with Poas Costa Rica . A Must See . Go in this direction from Europe rather than the usa, you get a stop off before Oz .

Can be reached via public transport (subway + bus) in about 1 hour from downtown.

You should consider at least 4 hours to go around the zoo if you like to visit all areas. There is a huge variety of animals to visit (most living in open areas).

Ammenities include restaurants, thematic playgrounds, tram with stops in 7 main hubs around the zoo, wc etc.

Really really good, very well organised, clean, friendly. Animal look very healthy. Definitely worth going . buy the multiple entry ticket so you came move around all the parks

The best in this region and one of the best in the world.

Great time at the Zoo as always... My 7yr old simply loves being here.... be it even a zillion times. She looks fwd to some reason or the other to convince us to take her there. We simply loved how they hv transformed late Inuka's exhibit to mention things in her memory. Its very emotional, especially for those who hv been here since so many years watching Inuka swim.
A must visit place if you hv little kids. They ll learn about being environmental friendly as well....

It's a must go place. However, plz remember not to waste your money on Tram, it's cost is $5 per person but it is waste of money, you won't need it at all. It's good only for elderly people who can't walk for a longer duration of time.

It's one of best attractions of Singapore. The zoo is well planned with sign boards everywhere. As soon as you enter the zoo person will give you a map of zoo. It also has the timing of the different shows and also the feeding timings of different animals. If you are a tourist who has traveled to Singapore via Singapore Airlines, you can get a discount on the tickets if you show your boarding pass. However, the discount is available only if you take the tram ride along zoo tickets. The tram allows hop in and hop out at different stations within zoo. Water and washroom is located at different places. Interestingly, there is no restriction on getting outside food here. The is quite big and gets hot by 11 am. So it is better to carry your own water bottle.

A really brilliant zoo that does well at integrating the enclosures into a natural feeling environment for you and more importantly, the animals. The white Tigers were amazing.

So much shows and animals to see. Love this place. Possibly a great place to bring kids although i see many parents struggling with over enthusiastic kids. Do recommend sunblock lotion and mosquito repellant to keep yourself comfortable and the visit enjoyable.

Just a lovely zoo with a wide variety of animals. Enjoyed my time getting close to mother nature and what it has to offer.

Beautiful and spacious. Well maintained and healthy animals. Wide varieties of animals. My sons totally enjoyed themselves.

I visited the zoo with my 5yr old, 2. 5yr old and my 10yr old nephew before leaving Singapore.
All the children had an amazing time although we only saw half of it..
You need at least 4hours to see it.
There is a splash park for the children so take a swimsuit and towel to allow your child to. Cool down.
One thing I would say is the only downside was the amount of time it took for me to get to the zoo and back....... Over an hour each way

Wanted to take the reservoir cruise but unfortunately it was closed because of covid.

The parrot in the monkey enclosure was constantly being harassed by the monkeys. I hope the River Safari people do something about it.

Easy to walk trail and a lot of rest stops for the elderly. Animals are well fed and active.

One of the best activities in Singapore - went with my kids - we had a fun time - one of best zoos in the world as well. Clean and Tidy. Elephant Show is the feather to the Crown, don't miss it. Safari Show is another fun-time as well. There are animal feedings too. It's worth for the money spent, a whole day time with family. Anytime we can visit Zoo in the future. Thanks to the Staffs for making it a wonderful spot in Singapore.

Definitely one of Singapore's finest tourist places. Also one of the best Zoo's in the Asian region. Went there with wife & kids. Be ready to spend & enjoy the whole day in this place. Lots of walking so make sure to use comfy shoes & bring extra clothes for the kids. Great variety of animals and good learning interaction for the kids. Overall family experience was very good. Recommend booking a good massage afterwards when you get back to your hotel.

Loved it but too hot and no water was scarce should have kept mist fans all over

OMG! That was my reaction at the Singapore zoo. Watching wildlife at such a close distance and while they are in their natural habitat, was such a beautiful experience. You can look forward to watching crocodiles, lions, giraffes, zebras, ostriches... But the panda! It's so cute. It stole my heart.
There is a tram that is constantly moving around in the zoo. For senior citizens and children who do not wish to or can't walk long distances, please use the tram service to go from one habitat to the other.
Do not miss the complimentary boat ride. I would suggest you do that by the end of the day to enjoy the evening views and the breeze.

By zoo we Commonly think, what will be new to this zoo... but.. I think that the way they've kept the animals, the variety of animals you get to see like Zebra's, Giraffe's, Sea Lion and a lot more are rare to find.

So the Singapore Zoo is a good package to visit and spend a whole day, Specially if you're with young kids.

Attached to the Singapore Zoo are two other options, one is Singapore Zoo Night Safari and the second is Rainforest Lumina.

Both are very good options to visit but I'll suggest to must choose the Rainforest Lumina because its something you've never experienced before.

Excellent zoo. Some rare animals too. Tram facility but suggest walk all the way. Be prepared for a good walk

This place is so big and one day won't be enough to cycling around. I come here with my students and it's a great experience. We watch animal show, going around the zoo with bus, drink fanta in monkey-shape bottle, and shop souvenier at the front gate. All of the kids are happy and can't close their mouth when they see their favourite animals. It such a shame that we can't see another side of zoo because of the limited time. Should come again later.

Enjoy your day on a lovely walk, look up at the baby Orangutans on their one of a kind outdoor above surface habitat. Do not worry about the rain the whole zoo also has a coverd path. So you can walk around in the most heavy rain, it rains there all the time...

One of the best zoos I ever seen. They take care of the animals at the best.
The ambiance is very good and very peaceful. Even if there are a lot of visitors you can't feel the crowd because the park is really big. It's very easy to take photos. The shows are very nice and funny. This place is good for everyone: young and old people, families, couples and solo travellers.

Too bad the polar bear was gone. But, it is amazing to see other animals such as white tigers, rhino and orangutans. Recommended!! The tram service in the zoo makes the trip easier too.

Beautifully maintained Zoo, lots of different animals to see. A good fun day activity with family. Animal shows in different zones are must to be attended (free of cost) they are highly engaging. Wet Play Area a free for all is another good zone to unwind just keep a pair of swimwear for kids.

Good Zoo but not the best one. Tigers and Lions are in small numbers and difficult to sight. Entry ticket is very expensive. Good Number of leopards..

Haven't been to a Zoo in a long time, but I'd heard many good things about Singapore zoo and it lived up to what I'd heard and read. Lots to see and do and good for all sorts. Families, couples and individuals. There is so much to see it's almost worth taking the whole day. Easy to get tjere by taxi if you don't mind paying or you can catch a train then bus which takes a little longer. Places to eat there are also reasonably priced. Yes some of the animals were sleeping but it's a Zoo and the animals are there for a reason and shouldn't be expected to put on a show for each and every individual. Great place and I would go back again for sure.

It's always a bit sad to see big wild animals confined to a small space. But, overall a very nice experience with lots of different animals.
We went on a Tuesday morning and there was not a lot of people. Plenty of space and able to see everything.
The food at the restaurant was really good (and not that expensive)

Proud of our zoo. No wonder foreigners I meet on my travels have nothing but good things to say about out attractions, including the zoo. Glad I could visit when there isn't much a crowd to compete with.

Highly recommend to visit this zoo in Singapore.One can see so many animals chilling comfortably in their natural habitat.The zoo is big enough to be lost so carrying a map is a must and plan a whole day out to explore it all.

it is a fun place to go with your family. may be crowded and food places always have queues though. enough content for around 2+ hours. River Safari is also close by so it is convenient to come here for a whole afternoon of activities!

I have been to dozens of zoos all over the world and this one is in my top 3. Zoo is large... took 16,800 steps and all day to complete. It's well laid out with lots of seating for rest, pleanty of things to eat at the many food venders, and a large food court by the entrance. Animals from all over the world call the zoo home. A large part of the design is open range. The entire zoo was clean, including the bathrooms. If you like animals, This zoo is wonderful !!!

We arrived late in the day, just before 4pm and were helpfully told before purchasing our tickets that they recommend 3-4 hours to get through (and it closes at 6pm). We made our way through seeing everything we wanted in enough time though. Easy enough to navigate and the displays were lovely - the animals seam very much at home in their surroundings and were usually at least in pairs.

Had an amazing fun-filled day with the fam. A must visit If you have kids. Everything was well maintained and very informative.

Because of safe measure distancing, it not as crowded as before.

Amazing zoo,my only disappointment was the Orangutan enclosure for the adults. They were very small and caged looking compared to where the juveniles were housed as you can see by pictures. The monkeys were so playful and fun, and like to pick pocket!!lol.. lost a babys soother to one..haha

Singapore s zoo is easily one of the best zoos in the world. Their enclosures and well-organized into different themes and the overall experience is pretty well designed. Signages are clear so you can plan your own route and experience, and performances are well-paced our throughout the day.

Watching the adorable sea lion perform a great variety of tricks at the splash show was really entertaining. One of the most memorable experience in my opinion!

At night, for a limited time until Feb 2020, the zoo transforms after 730pm with a rainforest lumina show. It is an amazing outdoor digital sensory experience with beautiful digital animations synchronized to the thematic music. You definitely have to check this out of your planning a day at mandai anyway.

As a whole, the zoo offers an enriching and experiential encounter with wildlife. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

One of the best zoos I've been to in the world. Each park has a fee to enter including the zoo. There are 4 parks to visit independently, for a fee. You can purchase group packages for a discount. One park is a Night Safari, done at night.

Best thing about this zoo is how it houses the animals within a natural landscape full of greenery. It's like you are inside a rainforest while you see these animals. The zoo houses monkey and related species predominantly. The place also houses a children's play area so loads for kids to enjoy.
Pro tip: Buy tickets online to skip the queue. You also get a discount of you do.

Still love it whenever I go there, I miss seeing the animals already.

Amazing.. Neatly maintained.The tram travel through the zoo was really great as I was with my kid.. Pram friendly paths were again great relief .. In total we had a good time there
