Every time I go, the animals are getting lesser and lesser. Many areas close for renovation for way too long. Animals don't look as lively and awake compared to few years back.

Enjoyed visiting the zoo and seeing all the animals but was disappointed that the Splash! animal show at 5pm was full at 4 15pm due to the COVID-19 safety measures and people started queuing since 3pm. Very disappointing as no notice/announcement was made. We were not aware this would happen or we would have started queuing earlier.
Best place to visit with kids, sometimes elders have to be kids to enjoy the place
Wonderful place to spent time. Just improve the price of the food there!
Super cool place. A must to go destination when jn SG.
Haven't been to the Singapore Zoo in almost a decade. In spite of the rain most of the animals were out. The Zoo is all in all nice but be warned that prices here are ridiculous. Bring your own water (there are water fountains for you to too up) Bring your own snacks but the zoo experience is great!
One of the best zoo I have been to. August trip with 2 kids and strollers. Suitable for all kind of ages. Buy tickets online to cut queing time at the counter.
No new animals..same like other zoo..but one good thing is, it's in Singapore...so very good maintenance and well planned zoo..kids will like very much..I am advising to go at 2pm to zoo..so that within 3hrs you can complete it and before 6pm go to River safari...and the go at 7:30pm to Night safari..
Visitors can see beautiful Asian Rhinos, Asian Elephants, White Tigers, Zebras, Lions, Monkeys, Australian animals and many more animals. Combined with the live shows and the wet area at KidzWorld, a visit to Singapore Zoo will make a great day on your Singapore visit!
Singapore Zoo is a must go attraction place when you visit Singapore. Went there during phase 2 of Circuit Breaker. Need to book time slot for safety measures. Enjoy with less crowded environment.
A stunning location in the forest for lots of animals from around the world: from white tiger to giraffes and zebras, from leopards to white rhino, from baboons to orangos, from hippos to lemures, from chameleon to giant turtles, finiscing to Komore dragon and color ed butterflies. A visit you cannot miss once in Singapore.
World class zoo with many shows to watch and animals to see. Everything is so well laid out and there are many rest points along the way. There is even a dedicated kids play zone with water parks to relax at. A enjoyable destination for locals and tourists alike.
Really amazing. My kid enjoy a lot.. best play to go and see animals
Best zoo I've ever been. Clean, large, exotic, animals are not kept behind bars, feels like an open air one
the zoo is handled and maintained well. And you can go to safari world too. The cafe over there is not bad.
Unlike other zoos... Excellent presentation of animals.. looks very natural
One of the best zoos I visited in my life. It is definitely worth doing the night safari.
The food is good for a zoo, not the best food you could have in Singapore but really good for the circumstances.
Lumina is also great so I advice to go and see the zoo at night time. There is also a night show with animals.
Not as many animal as it used to be and many area under renovation
The best zoological Park that I have visited till date. Completely different from all other zoo and is being beautifully maintained. Exactly to say it is not a zoo its a forest and a portion of it made available for visitors. Words are not enough to express how great the atmosphere and the arrangement have been made or organised. Off all the things my best experience is with river safari and night safari are so adjacent so its very convenient for those who want to plan all there on same day. However we have covered jurong bird park also on the same day as it opens at 8:30 am and rest all the parks after 10:00 am.
Lumina Rainforest is a brilliant idea by Singapore Zoo. Don t miss it when you re in Singapore.
This is not just any other zoo. It's commendable how much effort has been put to replicate the real ecological space where various creatures live. Not to mention, river safari is just an out of the world experience, similar to the SEA Aquarium in Sentosa.
Go getaway and open area for kids to enjoy themselves during the holidays.
I love this a lot!!! Haha. Nice shows. Will be back here someday when i have kids. And its worth to buy some goodies there, just like my little giraffe
It's very nice!! We have been here for the whole day. It is a big parc with great activities such as feeding a giraffe! The animals have a nice terratory.
Just wasted time going there. Not much animals. Almost all empty places
Great place to watch animals in SG, recommended to book in advance prior to getting there especially for Night Safari since there usually limited slots
Fantastic zoo. Crowded but there are just so many animals to see! Reptopia is a really good new addition...
Good variety of animals, kid and wheelchair friendly. Meal options are less but snack options are plenty. Friendly staff.
This place is huge, i love the animals here. It look very clean and green, not like some other countries, all the animal here look very healthy. Especially the bird, look like mine. Ok just kidding, not happy but well..overall is still awesome.
Lovely place to spend time with family especially with young kids. Requires atleast couple of hours to explore in entirety.
great zoo where animals are more free than in a lot of zoos, barriers between you and the animals are naturals like rivers or rocks, just a few windows
Beautiful! I love that you can see 5 attractions at the same place. The animals are so close by you feel like you are a part of the jungle.
Ah true zoo, you can only spend quality of time there. Animals are well treated and kept in excellent conditions. The zoo has a very open concept and that make it very unique, besides if you get to know, they really do have projects to save animals and or ensure they grow more of them.
It worth a lot to have a real connection with nature and animals. I never get tired to go there ...
It's the best zoo I've been to , the animals are given a big area to roam about. It's a great place to digital photography. I wouldn't advise using film cameras with flash as the flash may stun the animals. There are many shows that audience interactive and outside the kids area sometimes friendly animals are brought out for the children to pet. The best days for photography are hot days when you sweat because the colours are really vibrant
Unique experience where you can really experience the various animals in their native ecosystems. Lots and lots of animals and whole experience is crafted for comfort and to get up & close with the animals. Though we took tram tickets but if you are healthy and love walking around a little, tram tickets are not required at all. Some of the enclosures are air conditioned and there's plenty of spaces to sit and relax. Enjoy the presence of some unique animals and in some cases walking among them.
Enjoy some of photos from the zoo. That frog is a dummy and not real. The palm is a reference to gauge the size of the largest frog on planet.
Such an amazing experience! Start your journey early morning and you will be able to do all zoo, river and night safari! Best zoo in the world if you want save money - we got tickets at Jurong park for zoo, river, night safari and bird park Jurong for 75 sgd/person but you need to be quick to see everything in one day. If you do so- start with bird park and then do zoo.
The best zoo I've ever been to. The staff is really good. Well maintained the zoo. It doesn't seem like a zoo. They protect the animals and they have put details of each animal which was very good. Lot of animals are there. One day is not enough to see it. I loved it
One of the best Zoos in the world. Animals' origins are more of Asia types. The premises was built like a tropical and foresty huge park/garden to make the creatures feel more at home. They are also observed to be more lively and active compared to zoos in some of the other countries.
Spent a few hours, could have spent days - kids LOVED it!!
Very nice place to visit with kids. Dont miss the Same it's just opposite to night safari.
Great layout in fantastic tropical environment making you think you are in the animals surroundings rather than visiting a zoo.
Be it tourists or locals, the Singapore Zoo is a place where you can bring your family for a fun filled day. It offers several zones - from Austrasia to Wild Africa and everything in between, it offers a different experience and animals. Feeding the giraffe and rhinoceros was probably the best part with the kids, and with Instagram. The shows were highly entertaining too, and also packs an important message to save our planet. Overall a great experience everytime I'm here.
If you bring kids make sure you bring swimming pack. They're gonna love the splash part
Many animals are in the sleeping state, maybe because we go on a rainy day.
We can use the tram rides to save our energy than walking around the zoo. Loved the monkey swinging around above our head.
Singapore Zoo is a must see attraction. All 3 attractions are worth seeing. It will take a whole day, but it s fascinating to see animals and learn about them. Singapore Zoo is a beautiful home to animals that are endangered.
I definitely recommend this place to everyone who travels to Singapore.
Singapore Zoo was voted top three best zoos in the world but first in Asia. As a Singaporean, I'm super damn proud. It us constantly changing and renovating parts of the zoo (which does not cause any inconvenience at all) to make it a more exciting and exclusive place to be. I highly recommend the splash show because there are so many tricks to see if you enjoy animals. This zoo is truly the best zoo I have been to.
Our zoo is renovating to be better. Even so, when you visit now, you won't feel the effects of construction. All the animals are happy in their natural enclosures. The trees provide good shade for us to walk in. If you want to cover the zoo and river safari, you need a day.
Amazing place to give you an amazing experience with many shows and exquisite animals from all around the world
It is fun and enjoyable. You can see a lot of interesting things and you may find some animals running around. But prepare umbrella as it can very very hot.
It's been an amazing experience to see the best maintained, clean & marvelous zoo I have ever been.. The way authorities safeguarding the animals are quite astonishing. I some how feel, if you try to send back those animals to their respective inhabit countries, they would may refuse directly by having such comfortable hospitality :)
It's like greenery with lots of big plants, plenty of inhabitants information detail along with each section, friendly staff (might be school kids, looks so..)..some excellent live shows... you can take a tram in case you feel exhausted by walking..lots a souvenir & toys stalls all around with expensive items.
I would give 10* out of 5, good for all age people, take an entire day leave to cover up everything...
awesome feature of animals with current 1-1 promotion for locals!
Well maintained and tastefully done.. We were at a tight schedule, hence covered Zoo, River safari and Night safari on the same day.. This could be tiring however if you hit zoo early in the morning, one can cover all these 3 on the same day..
What's not to like.. animals very friendly staff. All care taken for avoiding covid spread.
I can't wait till they make the new expansion ready.

Loved loved visiting this zoo. Living in Asia, its no surprise the kind of conditions that zoo animals are kept in in many zoos, but at the Singapore zoo, you could see there was much thought and planning in making sure the animals had more than enough space to roam and there's lots of sponsors that help maintain the zoo which is clearly shown on some signs for some of the endagered animals in the zoo. Clearly marked and various programmes and feeding times clearly shown on the schedules. Its a huge place so make sure you have comfortable shoes with you. It was so beautiful taking my kids here. We loved it and will definetely come back again. Keep up the good job
Had a great time and covered the whole zoo in 4hrs. Good walk and greeted by many animals!
Worth seeing. Interesting experience. I was impressed with flying squirrel, flying foxes and hainas.
Never feel bored. Great place to wind down and walk through the greenery.
We had so much fun here bit advise you to see all the shows because shows are more interesting, some animals were sleeping (most of the time) when you there.
Pedro (sealion) was in high spirits today, very playful and cheeky
Awesome place. River quest was also nice. Must visit place in singapore
Best. Enjoy So Much. Awesome view. Stunning. Nature 100% Good . Amazing Wild Animals. Etc. Theres a Restaurant called " Ah Meng Restaurant ".
We all had a great time and the kids loved it. Will be back soon.
Amazing Zoo... even don t think that you are in Zoo ... like in wild nature.
You can easy reach a Zoo using a Metro and then Shuttle for 1S$ only.
always a great place to visit, sad that the polar bear is no longer with us
excellent experience, wrll maintained zoo...also the river safari
They will change their show presentation once in a while, while maintaining the conversation messaging, which is a refreshing change.
We love Singapore Zoo and decided to become annual members. The experience for a kid as well as for an adult is amazing. The only issue I have with the zoo is that there is some overlap between the three parks in the same vicinity (i) Zoo (ii) River Safari (iii) Night Safari
With most of the River Safari attractions covered in Zoo, visit to River Safari seems to be not as amazing except its the only place to engage with the two Panda's
Great zoo with large outdoor areas for the animals.
Great place to go with kids and spend time. Well maintained and good feeding sessions
Brought my son for his first time visit to the zoo. As of 4th dec, KFC was under reno and there were not much Halal food options. If I'm not wrong I only saw Ah Meng Bistro being Halal-certified. Recommended to bring your own foods and drinks! And carpark parking from 1030am to 430pm was $10 - so be prepared to top up your cashcard. And please wear comfortable clothes and comfortable/sport shoes as you'll be doing a bit of walking.
Really nice for family weekend. The place is big with many kind of animals to surprise you.
Loved Singapore zoo! We did the Night Safari as well. The tram ride and the walking trails were lovely. The animals seemed well looked after and the entire place clean and organized. We had a tonne of fun as a family. Worth another visit as well!
Amazing zoo, interactive with a beautiful tropical rainforest theme.
One of the world s top zoos, definitely worth a visit while In Singapore. Allow at least 3-4 hours because there s so many exhibits to see.
This is without a doubt one of the better zoos in the world. The zoo was inspired by Taronga in Sydney but it has evolved into such an incredible park you would never know.
I booked tickets through Amex and opted for the breakfast with orangutans as well, the breakfast is a standard buffet breakfast and the orangutans join on a perch nearby where you can see them. After a bit you ll also get a chance to line up and take a photo with them. There are some fantastic tributes to Ah Meng the orangutan that was originally rescued by the zoo along with a tribute to Steve Irwin.
Expect to spend about 4 hours here but to be honest you can spend as long as a whole day just watching some of the animals. If you got a ticket that comes with tram ride, I recommend walking through the zoo first before hopping on the tram to get to the areas you may have missed.
Beautiful place with lots of animals to visit. Kids would love the experience to meet the animals they see in the books or on television live in front of them. You have option to rent mobile battery operated scooter for elderly to go around the zoo as well as take tram. But would suggest to explore the place by walk as you can then visit all animals. Butterfly garden area had lots of birds as well.
Amazing wildlife experience that feels a lot like a walk in a jungle park! Very cool for kids. Make sure you allocate the whole day.
Enjoyable experience for my 3 year old daughter. Well planned route with convenient rest places.
Family-friendly attraction with easy to read signboard. Purchase all our soft copy of photo for $30.
It is a zoo with different animals whom are well cared for, quite free and they look happy the surroundings are spectacular as well. This was definitely one of the best attraction in Singapore. And also it is clean and very accessible on foot. Animal presentations are educational, showcasing the animals in their natural behavior and habits.
Singapore Zoo is the best! The zoo upgrades most enclosures to keep the place fresh. Sheltered walkways make the walk more comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable and also helpful.
Nice place to hangout and meet different animals from various habitat
Best Rainforest Zoo in the world, no doubt! This is the closest you can get to all these animals!!! But I recommend you to plan your walk before going so as not to make repetitive rounds to the different points of the park. Best to follow the feeding trail because only when there is food you are guaranteed to see the animals. If not, a lot of them could be hiding in the shade to avoid the hot sun like us humans.
