Comfortable room and good breakfast but, oddly, for a good hotel of this size, no room service or even a bar snack - not so much as a bag of Tatoes - after the restaurant closes! Not something I would normally care about but, having only managed to grab a snack early on in the evening, I could have just done with a sandwich or something before bed.

We stayed here for four nights nightmare!! Staff were no help! Restaurant bar always full we went to reception they told us they had no problem with us ordering in food after paying over five hundred euro we had to take a baby of nine months my son of six out that night to try find a place to eat.. The rooms were soo hot no air-conditioning no air as you could only open the window a small amount.. At breakfast there was food on the floor flies everywhere I I asked for a high chair simply was told there was none.. No proper entertainment for the kids . Was more a hotel for business than for families .
Popped in this evening on our way home from a family outing for a bite to eat. The bar was not busy but we were left waiting for so long. No one came with menus, we went to the bar several times for these and drinks and once our order was taken it took almost an hour for our food to come out. Most of which was really poor quality and was sent back. Really disappointing. I would advise to stay away.

Had another good stay, room good breakfast. Only issue was receptionist was not very nice and was condescending.
On the first look everything looks perfectly fine. The rooms are clean and spacious.
But then we wanted to use the spa area for some relaxation. Turns out that they advertise with fake pictures. You have to walk up a hill to a external fitness center (~8 minute walk). The pool and Jacuzzi there are okay. They hand you over a bathing cap which you have to wear!!!
The breakfast is okay. Had better at some B&B's on our trip.
TLDR: don't go there if you want to enjoy the fitness center or the spa area! Rest seems fine

It's the second time I'm attending to a conference in the main conference room. Found the staff very friendly overall.
Overall a good experience. Sanitisation stations throughout the hotel. Clean room. The shower mat could use a change as it's pretty worn out, but that's just me being picky. Great help from Lorna at reception.

Our family stayed is this hotel during the summer. I must say it was so nice to be in a hotel that cared so much. The staff couldn't do enough for us and nothing was a problem for them.
The playground was a nice area to help the kids wind down before we settled them for the evening. The family bedrooms were huge with 2 double beds that were so comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and loads on offer too.
Rooms very warm, no air con...Breakfast could do with improvement..Bacon and sausages only half cooked and everything only warm not hot...maybe covid restrictions played apart in in. Overall wasn't impressed with my 2 day stay.....

I stayed in the hotel by the work. Very disappointed. The room was too warm and no any posability to open a widow because the hotel located too close to motorway. There is no fridge in the room, one take-away cap for tea and only few tea bags, while I stayed for 5 days! There is no chance to use a diposable cap too many times.
The restaurant in hotel has very poor menu and bad service. I was waiting for a meal more than one hour.
It is unacceptably for the 4-star hotel.
Terrible room scaffolding outside of window with a note in room telling you to keep your drapes closed from 8am to 6pm because workman will be outside your window.
Room 417 the door to outside from the 4th floor does not lock it's broken and anyone can enter from outside. The room is run down makes on the walls furnishings ripped lights not working unbelievable.
I complained to the front desk and he tried to help but the hotel was full. I was not happy with this as I know some floors have been renovated. He tried calling the manager but was not given authorization to move us. I would have cancelled but had payed in full on Expedia supposed to be 4 stars what a joke!
We had a great stay there it was fab the staff were brillant and the rooms were beautiful.
I've only experienced the conference facilities here. Conference rooms are large and well-equipped with some great views of Cork. Plenty of free parking.
Nice hotel with great friendly staff. Will stay again. Breakfast is a buffet and has a great selection. The restaurant is delicious with reasonably priced food. Great for kids too. No pool on site but they give you a voucher for the leisure centre around the corner from the hotel. 2mins drive.

I was very disappointed for a 4 star hotel.
We had food in the bar before a conference on Tuesday the 4th December.
We sat by reception as it was quite full in the bar and the restaurant was not open at this stage. The table we sat at had coffee cups already on it which were not cleared when the waiter took our order or when our food arrived out.
We both ordered chicken goujons and I asked could I get sweet potato fries instead of skinny fries. When it came out it looked great but as soon as I took a chip they were cold and a bit raw. The skinny fries on my friends plate were also cold, the chicken was hot thankfully.
I couldn't get our waiters attention so I went up to a girl who worked there and in fairness she was good, she was quick to get us new fries.
When we finished and we went to pay I was shocked, now I understand that there maybe a supplement as the sweet potato fries were 4.50 on the menu, but when I got charged full price for both the fries and chicken even tho I got half the chicken dish as I got sweet potato instead of the fries that came with it , I really thought it was a rip off and very cheeky.
Not impressed and I would not recommend you eat here.

Just okay. No air conditioning in family rooms and the whole reason we chose this hotel was for the air conditioning states on website. Food was okay. Restaurant staff was slow but okay. Front desk staff was friendly. Only stayed one night.

Very disappointing experience. Staff were incredibly nice but I couldn't get over the state of the room. Our bathroom was filthy and falling apart. The room was like it hadn't been cleaned at all. Shower fell from the wall as I used it and toilet seat broken. Dust everywhere and cream from the previous guests all over the bathroom. The cleaned and sealed sticker was on the door and I can confirm that it was not clean by any means. Very few guests wearing masks which I found to be very worrying considering we are in the midst of a pandemic. No staff telling guests to wear them either despite not being allowed in public spaces without them under legislation. Families sitting outside the hotel entrance were not keeping their distance as we entered the hotel. I wouldn't feel safe staying in this hotel. Was excited to stay here as I have had good experiences in many other Clayton hotels but I will not be back. No refund offered to us however we were offered a change of room but we were just too exhausted to move at 11pm.

Our Family invite They booked Silver Springs hotel for a family funeral it was perfect with the new covid rules in place 52 people were allowed to sit for dinner unusual we all know but great to let other familys know .It was great for the family to be together in a safe environment .The food was amazing .The staff were more than helpful .During different times like covid we still got to commemorate our loved one and enjoy the stories of our past.

Spent a lovely night in Cork in The Clayton Silver Springs. We were made feel very welcome. The room was spotless and very spacious. We had a fabulous dinner . Breakfast was gorgeous with a great selection of hot and cold food.The staff were very attentive and friendly.

The whole experience was lovely. Our room was stylish,clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the river. The staff are friendly and professional and the food in the bar was delicious! The courtesy bus to the conceet was so handy and very reasonable at o ly 5. I would highly recommend the Clayton Silver Springs hotel and I will definitely be staying again.
Had celebration meal there this evening for our son in laws graduation. It was a disaster from start to finish, the table was inadequately set for our meal. The waiting staff we're most unfriendly & we we're waiting ages to have our order taken. The meals came in dribs & drabs & was not up to standard. Will not be visiting there again & would not recommend it our friends.
Overall experience was really nice, you can't fault the staff they are all amazing and really friendly, food was great, Heineken was ok. It's just unfortunate in these covid times the hotels can't have a bit of music, you really miss it when you are on a break. I only dropped one star for this hotel because it needs a little revamp ,, but I would definitely go back and recommend for family getaways.
I decided to take a well needed break and I thought I'd book into this hotel to just relax and pamper myself, I must say , it was honest to God very easy on my wallet , dinner I was spoiled for choice and breakfast wow I was impressed, the staff couldn't be more helpful , I'm not rich in any way, I had to save to stay in a hotel for one night break, the way that hotel is ran , the smiles on the staff, the cleanliness and the decor , I felt as though I was rich. I'm actually planning my next stay , because I'm worth it (joking) but the staff do make you feel as though you are, for very little money , first class treatment in a high class hotel. .p.s I was loving the his/her bathroom robes #luxurious

Comfortable enough hotel. Bar food a bit limited on a Monday. One local beer not available at the tap. Same a few weeks ago according to another guest. Chanel on TV couldn't be changed so stuck on Sky News. Not much chat from barman. Left after one pint & meal. Would have stayed longer if more buzz...
Had an event recently the lads in the hotel were fantastic. Great service provided throughout the weekend very friendly and easy to deal with.

Rooms were spacious but very dusty and mould on the windows on all the three rooms we booked. Breakfast was alright. Bathrooms were clean and nice, beds were nice overall rating was poor because of the mouldy windows and dusty carpets and cig butts under the beds which was a big let down
I'll give the Bedroom 4 Star Staff 2 Star Bar Staff not Plesant Can't beat the Country Hotel to be Fair Sorry but that's my Opinion
