OMG I don't want to talk about this place can you skip this one

I have been a regular guest at the hotel many times over the last decade. I own a small business in Custer and I used the Silver Reef as a home base. I once spent eight nights in a row in the hotel. I liked it very much. It was my my go to place.

Tonight they kicked me out of the casino. They said I was inebriated. That is ludicrous. Not even close. I was winning and having fun, I was tipping everyone. I was having a good time. Ask the dealers.. Ask the cocktail waitress. Ask the gentleman who cleans the bathroom. I tipped him too. I was winning and so was everyone else.

But not anymore. I will never be back.

You guys blew it. I have spent many nights here. The last night I will stay here is tonight, Feb 18, 2020.

Casinos are lots of fun and good food also a nice gift shop.

You will never win...you may as well roll down your car windows and throw your money out as you drive by...you will never win at Silver Reef.

The whole place is annoyingly sleazy; the sound over the public address system is blaring at you, the clerk at the front desk of the hotel is uncompromising and very snotty, the slots are so tight that you spend hundreds before you ever get free spins -- I mean, come on, what do you have to do to finally get a bonus?

I guess I can look at it this way; Thank You, Silver Reef, for making my visit so frustrating and unpleasant that I will not return.

P.S. The ads you send me via mail are disgusting...the models look like alcoholics or drug addicts.

Visited only to purchase cigarettes by the carton. Cheaper than elsewhere by far. Prompt service, high quality.

We love the silver reef. My husband and I go there from canada. Two days at the reef unwinding makes us feel like we have had a jump start for work and life all over again.
We have seen faboulous entertainment , great rooms for the night, memorable New Years Eve celebrations, and awesome food.
I cant wait until canadians can cross the boarder so we can come to the reef and have a great night or two!!!

Tiny hole in wall doesn't begin to compare with anything on Strip, still smells like an ashtray.

An oasis in the middle of nowhere. Lots of fun and food. Live music on weekends. Several options for food including a fantastic buffet and the best steakhouse in the Bellingham area.

Very diappointed...tried prime rib buffet last night. Cold mashed potatoes and most veggies.. even baked potato..
Prime rib was too rare. Blood all over my plate. Brought it to managers attention..nothing done. Tried cafe today. Mushroom burger. Actually very good once they finally brought it. Waitress Lacey never returned.. had to ask another waitress for my bill.
10 minutes wait before I even got a menu. Too bad. Nice casino with new slots.

Well we stayed in their brand new tower great rooms with marble showers they should charge $180.or more.... casino was a lot of fun, clean, with good staff.
now my only complaint for the managers would be to improve the attitude of restaurant staff. you are providing good items for the complimentary breakfast, just teach your cook how to fold scrambled eggs and add a little milk to keep it moist n fresh.
look up Google on how to scramble eggs......really

My friend and I went for the penny slots and our free birthday buffet. The food was good and we didn't lose to much. Over all a good time.

Awesome slots, clean, friendly atmosphere, and good food.

Today was my sister's birthday and we spent it at the casino. We played for 6 hours and had a terrific time.

Ok. Sign up for the frequent players card if this is your first time. My wife and I got these each: a $5 card to play at table games, a 5 dollar slots coupon, $5 off the buffet, and they also give you a free birthday meal (that can't be used that day). SO worth making a few trips out to this casino.

UPDATE (went to The Cantina):
My wife, daughter and I went for dinner and were very happy with the whole experience. We each used our annual birthday free meal which had a $18.95 value since it is based on the buffet cost that night. At the end of the meal, we only had to pay for the tip.

I had carnitas. It was $14.95 and had enough to fill me (6'2", 250 lbs.) that night and the following morning. The pork comes out in chunks about the size of a small red potato. When you cut into the meat, there's a good amount of moisture still in there. It was great.

We got the table side guacamole. You can specify the ingredients and really tell them exactly how you want it. We got extra pico. They use one full, small avocado so there's just enough to share for 2.5 people.

My wife got a 2 item combo (enchilada and taco) for about 10 bucks. She didn't finish everything and was stuffed. She says the chicken was moist and had guacamole, pico, and sour cream.

The waitress was awesome, decor is amazing, and I would say this is absolutely a great way to spend you annual free meal at the casino!

The steakhouse is our favorite restaurant and we visit here multiple times a year just to eat there. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Rated a 4 because we never can seem to get a quiet night. Always lots of commotion in the halls or room next door, no matter what floor we are on.

Great food and service for our company dinner there. Very polite and courteous.

Mostly good food for the price, service was a bit slow and seemingly unorganized. Took forever to get drink refills.

Went for Thanksgiving buffet...found it to not be very good for what you pay. Not alot of choices.

Nicely decorated casino. Couldn't find the lucky machines ;) Coffee shop had delicious pastries and good coffee.

The Silver Reef Casino Resort is an excellent facility that is located on The Lummi Indian Reserve, close to Ferndale & Bellingham. It's approximately the same size as The River Rock Casino, in Richmond, B.C.
Everything about this casino & hotel is first class. I would highly recommend it!!!

Rooms were brand new, and high end with all the amenities. No smoke smell from the casino either. Staff was helpful and polite. We ate at the buffet (free breakfast coupons) and they had a good selection and pretty good food. The cafe had very good dinner, and reasonable prices. Overall very happy with this place and will stay again.

Hotel was very nice. I dont really gamble but the casino looked nice and very clean. Lots of machines, blackjack and craps. Food and drink options. They do allow smoking in the casino so that's a big turn off

Good food good drinks. Would have given another star if it werent for a rude dealer acting like i wasnt good enough too sit at his table. Chump

The room was clean and as good quality as I expected based on the price. Free water bottles was nice. The casino is a good but not amazing gambling experience. Would recommend.

Nice rooms. But bad check-out service. Damage deposit was not returned at check out, or after 42 hours after check-out. And then it was a hassle to contact a manager about it.

Good little casino with friendly staff and clean rooms. Rates for the stay and play golf very reasonable. We will be back.

worst customer service, unfriendly staff...spend your money somewhere else that treats their customer right. I would give it zero star if it is an option!!!

This was our first visit and it did not go well; we booked it online and when we arrived they said we could not have our room without a credit card but did not give us any options it was just NO...we decided to speak to the manager and we got a room and she said there would be an additional $50.00 charge that would be refunded in a few days. When we got home we found that we were charged for our room plus the $50.00 extra and then $200.12 extra for no reason; when I called I was told that the $200.12 plus $50.00 would be refunded in three weeks...I found this to be unacceptable and very poor business practices; I do not recommend this establishment.

Very comfortable beds, I love there breakfast buffet in the morning..

Wonderful clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. I really enjoy the hot tub and swimming pool. Casino open all night and many places to eat.

Not very crowded and they had machines down to leave 6ft apart from one another imcase anyone is wondering.

Since they reopened it seems less crowded and more room. But a lot of things remained the same except the hours that they are open that part sucks.

I've been going to the Silver Reef for years. They ysed to have an outstanding buffet. Since moving it to the other room it has become average. The staff are very nice and helpful though throughout the casino. I've never stayed the night nor had the opportunity to use the spa, but I can only imagine they'd be exceptional. As far as the gameing goes, I'm not big on tables, but they have a wide variety of slots. I'm glad they've keptthe Fairies Fortune. I would love of they got the Flintstones though. Overall a nice casino with lots of opportunities.

Went to gamble twice might as well drove by and threw my money on the ground cause you can't even play for a min The slots there take you money fast. I didn't go expecting to win but it would be nice to play for longer than 20 min.

The hotel was great. The amenities in the north tower rooms are gorgeous, although some of the shower heads in my room weren't working. My only complaint is that they allow smoking in the casino. Given that the conference rooms are all through the casino, you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get there. Very unpleasant. The staff was very nice and helpful though!

1/30/2019 DONT COME HERE TO RELAX AND HAVE FUN!!! please you guys put your drink natzis away. First drink I order a shot of crown and a bud draft sit down to lose thousands of dollars at one of your slot machines and one of your very rude drink officers starts yelling at me for having 2 drinks!!!! Why would the bartender serve me two drinks if I can t have 2 drinks? What the heck is wrong with you people???? A casino resort and spa is supposed to hospitable ! Seriously fire these drink natzis. So for some reason you people love to hire the nastiest power hungry, passive aggressive, anal retentive drink natzis and her name is Dara. I came here to relax tonight and blow money and I liked to be left alone instead I get harassed by your employee. Next time I want a night out I will drive 45 minutes away where they are much more friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and stocked well. There are rain showers in the bathrooms, with three heads and setting controls. The room had a connecting door to the room adjacent, which was distracting because we could hear the people next door through the space under the door. The beds are comfortable, with lots of pillows and extra blankets. Have noticed the down feathers tend to stick out of the pillow and poke or scratch. Checked out the pool and hot tub, which were relaxing, however it looked like the hot tub needed to be cleaned or a filter changed. There is also a sauna and steam room. The free breakfast offered lots of variety. Free water bottles from the bar in the casino for hotel guests. Overall, enjoyed the stay and were thankful to the honest housekeeping staff for setting out the credit card we left behind in our room.
