Silver Reef Hotel Casino and Spa Reviews

First of all James Hill comment about drug dealers or prostitution at the casino is whack. I go just about every other day an have a wonderful experience. He must be hanging out with the wrong crowd or goes to the casino for the wrong reasons other then to gamble. Silver Reef is a mellow place to gamble and have fun. Sorry Mr Hill you lost your rent money and now your taking out on the casino and staff if you can't take a loss stay home save your money.

Had a Xmas party there. The steak house was awesome.

So far my visit has been great! Tomorrow I am going to take a dip in pool then go to the spa and have a treatment with the money Ihave won so far. I made sure I set a limit on my spending for gambling or I could have just left everything there lol! You don't want to miss out on the wonderful food at the different restaurants also! The service was great from all of the different staff members as well! We will definitely be back!

Your money seems to last longer than at some other casinos.

Good place for fun and food with friends. Bar has live music, they have performance in the bigger room. Drinks are wonderful, everything is awesome, be better if i had luck to win!

Fairly large casino. Nice staff. Lots of drunks and druggees that frequent there though.

Bought a gift card for the spa. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean Casino, courteous staff and some fabulous rooms. With the expansion to a second building the capacity makes it easier to get a room. It's a great place especially if you have a convention or an event to go to within the casino itself

Best steakhouse in the area! And Jay is our favorite server, great at tableside preparations.

Lots of reward programs, but security likes to harass people for no reason. Other than winning.

Decent sized rooms with pretty good amenities, all at a reasonable price. Not the highest end casino, and need better pillows and late night options for food. Overall good and would stay here again

Silver reef is simply amazing! Sure you lose some nights but also can win. Its always clean as possible. The staff is great! Some people who are there are fun to get to know. Knight shift table dealers are the best around, Gwen i give 5 star no dout.

Very smoky, pay out is not very good... great restaurants

The customer service is completely truant. Most peoples jobs there is to practice good customer service. The table dealers where very condescending, pushy and overall rude. Rude to the point I decided to just walk away from the game. Some people come to have fun and just unwind after an already hectic day. Not to be talked down to or belittled.

Overcharged by hotel front desk. Treated disrespectfully by casino security. Buffet food was bland and dried out.

Slot games were great! Very clean. Ate at the restaurant. Service was good. Food was good. No complaints.

Went for dinner at the buffet with my family on Christmas. We thought that we could have had a better meal for the price elsewhere.

Hometown gambling big enough to accommodate large crowds. Small town feel.

Rather disappointing experience. Staff I dealt has little customer service skills. Rooms are not very sound resistant (loud kids two doors down sounded like right outside) Internet is horrific, and breakfast requires walking through smoke filled casino. I wouldn't stay here again.

My husband and I stopped at this lovely casino on our way home from Vancouver BC. We had never been here before but we will be back. We had lunch at Puzzanini which was great. The casino was very clean and the staff welcoming.

Just make sure you have your identification no matter how old you are. But it's all new machines since I've been there last. There's smoking and non-smoking areas. Cool membership in there club cards. And the motel is always clean when I come there.

When me & my husband stayed here the tv was broke, the bed was so uncomfortable the desk lady had an attitude the pool was poor the buffet is okay at best & honestly the layout & design is quiet ugly first & last time ever staying at this cheap hotel

They are a great place to go have some fun but remember they are in business for a good reason you will loose more then win but that s just all casinos not hating just saying what I feel about it

Pretty fun but stopped serving drinks at 1am which is crazy to me for a casino

They dont call it the "Silver Theif," for nothing!!!

Wasn't really what I expected. I stayed in a lot of casinos hotel before. This is the first one I've stayed in that had a cutoff of alcohol at around 1 or 1:15 very disappointed. Casino employees were not very friendy.

The restaurant served excellent food, and i liked the fact that they exchanged currency from canada

The room was nice and spacious. The food is good, the buffet breakfast is ok. You have to have someone stay at the table if you want more food or it will get taken.

Great spot for a weekend getaway. Always have a good time there. The staff is always curtious and helpful as well as Aaron our casino host is a real pleasure to deal with. The food is great also.
It is great to beacuse it is just 15 mins over the border so it's quick and easy to get to.
We will continue to go for our quick getaways as we always enjoy our time there.

Great place to spend money and win money, it seems 90% of the time I double even triple my money and go home with it. I hit a free spins bonus yesterday, I had like $8 left on my ticket was leaving and decided to put that ticket in a game, with $2.50 left I hit a bonus ended up with 70 free spins and walked out $1,742 richer than when I walked in . Walked out with all of it.

I had a wonderful time and I'm not a gambler but the atmosphere is great. And the best air quality ever! I had a late dinner with my sister and shared two different burgers. I still can't decide which was better! The service was excellent and it's well worth the short trip across the line just to grab dinner. When you look around you see chill people having a good time all around. This encouraged me and I had fun playing although it's not my forte, this should indicate something

The casino and probably restaurants have finance problems likely. They charged a 6 month old infant at the buffet restaurant. Oh well... Very spacious buffet restaurant though. Seats 100+ people easily. Probably 15 people there during peak dinner hours when I went; so if you suddenly needed a big place for dinner party, this place might work.

lol....company's response: "please ask to speak to a supervisor if you feel as though you are being charged incorrectly".....it was the supervisor that corrected the cashier to make sure to charge the infant.

Rooms are expensive n winning odds not that great, n its a long long drive

Went to the steak house for my husband's birthday. Excellent food and service. I would go again. Four stars instead of 5 because I asked an employee at a cashier desk if there were any advantages to having a player's card when dining in the steak house. He replied, "No." Later, I found out from the manager of the steak house that we could have received a $13 credit if we had player's cards. Seriously?

It was an okay casino to visit. Nothing to special and kind of small. The slots seem to be outdated, but there are slot located in a "no smoking" area. There are several different food vendors inside that have a variety of foods to purchase. The security doesn't bother you much, and I was never asked for my ID to verify my age. The security does give awkward looks at you if they think you dont look like whatever way they are used to seeing or whatever they think you should look like. I am not from the area, so maybe I stood out like a sore thumb. Whatever the deal, I give it 3 stars and say to anyone go visit if your passing through and find the desire to gamble. Dont make it a road trip or go out of your way though to go here.
