Sibilla restaurant Review

Lovely panorama, welcoming place but the dishes did not meet my expectations.

Spectacular location, competent staff, excellent raw materials worked with wisdom. Perfect for "special" occasions, for an evening of pampering or for a well-deserved prize after visiting the beauties of the city of Tivoli.

The staff was super friendly (they let me in 20 minutes before the official opening time, because it was cold outside to wait); the food was delicious and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing! Highly recommended

I was in this place for a business lunch, we got really good truffle pasta, an appetizer recommended by the waitress (very professional) with some fried. Excellent wine but above all the sweet chocolate ball stuffed inside really good. Admittedly a hug to Daniela Google Local guide L.H.L

It has no rivals. It is the best restaurant in Tivoli in terms of the quality of the dishes, in absolute terms of overall satisfaction. The cost? The application is not relevant. Surely you leave this place, after an evening or after a lunch, satisfied, at 360 degrees, point. I have been so many times, service for excellence, beautiful place (historic) and you eat very well.

Excellent restaurant at adequate prices, generally well frequented with internal rooms and a garden overlooking the Tempio della Sibilla, a gem to be enjoyed alone, in the background the buzz of Aniene and sometimes the distant roar of the waterfall. Well-kept dishes and good service, decent choice of wines. It is a place for families and couples, there are rarely noisy groups and therefore you can enjoy the company of diners, the late spring evenings with a climate that invites you to stay in the garden are delicious accompanied by good food and views .

The 5 stars are for the location. In my opinion the most beautiful restaurant a few km from Rome. I do not know of other places where you can eat, outdoors, under the pergola of a wisteria planted, if I'm not mistaken, in the 1700s. In the same space of the garden there are two temples and a spectacular view of the valley below and the Tivoli waterfalls. We are inside Villa Gregoriana. The restaurant deserves 4 stars. You eat well, the portions are right and the quality is indisputable. Excellent grilled meat on sight if you eat outdoors. Even if we are in the hinterland you will also find well-kept fish dishes always very fresh. The roundup of the excellent and delicious appetizers allows you to continue only with a first or a second dish, unless you are excellent forks. Some nice innovations in the kitchen; one for all pasta with cheese and pepper with mussels! Excellent desserts and good choice of wines. Impeccable, caring, fast, kind staff. The owner Simone always welcomes you with sympathy. Pay close attention to making you feel good. The bill, in my opinion, not cheap but fair. If you want to have fun, read the numerous plaques that remind you of those who ate here! One at random? The emperor of Japan!

I just finished dinner looking at the temple of Vesta. Well-kept dishes of the Roman tradition, revisited. Great and very courteous service. Negative note: the music: high and not appropriate to the place.

Very beautiful place and fantastic atmosphere, superb service. Ordered three different meat dishes - chicken, beef, lamb - all tasteless and dry. For EUR 20 per dish - you would expect more. Tuna tartare was good, however left Disappointed.

The view is majestic. The food is delicious. The service is friendly. This is as close to heaven as one can have.

The garden is "decorated" with two of the most famous monuments of the town: the temple of Vesta and the temple of the Sibilla, which can be visited at any time.

A very fine restaurant set in a natural amphitheater with a spectacular view: green hills on one side stand out majestically in front of the Sibyl pagan temple which in turn turns its gaze on a waterfall. All in front of the old Tivoli, which is very reminiscent of the alleys of Spaccanapoli. Refined service for sophisticated dishes.

I was undecided until the end whether to put 3 or 4 stars! The place is beautiful and the quality of the food really good. Prices are high, but the quantities are abundant. My indecision on the evaluation is due to a series of small precautions ... I missed the fork, our first took time to arrive because there was a problem with my risotto and the wait justified it only after we have asked for information. However, outside of these problems I recommend it!

I'll be back after a year and as usual the expectations are totally satisfied. Mountain mixed appetizer 10/10. First of cappellacci filled with Matriciana sauce 10/10. Second lamb on lemon sauce and potatoes with crispy vegetables 10/10. Express ice cream where the absence of ice crystals 10/10. Rual Wine of Gualdo del Re 10/10. Perfect. :)

Good food in a very nice setting. We enjoyed our lunch there. The service is "relaxed" so don't be afraid to snag a passing server if you need something.
