Roman cuisine brilliantly revisited in a futuristic "cube" surrounded by the greenery of the Roman countryside. Very cordial and impeccable service. Wine list worthy of the kitchen.

Almost twenty years ago we had tried Antonello Colonna's small restaurant in Labico, near Rome. Very good then. But he has done so much on the road. We have been having dinner with my husband, and the Michelin star is more than deserved for a place that leaves you satisfied for its excellence since you sit down to dinner. Extraordinary modern environment. Well-trained waiters who follow all the rules of elegance in service, availability and courtesy above all. We chose a vegetarian tasting, of simply superb quality. From the initial panzanella, to the cabbage and mushroom pie, then tastings of pasta treated in detail by those who have a clear idea in the kitchen how to achieve mastery. To finish with a fried poached egg to perfection to eat at the spoon. If I had to detect something to improve honestly I wouldn't know what to say. Perhaps the only note concerns not the kitchen and the room, but ... the chef. Antonello Colonna was always present in the room and spent the whole evening with the various tables for comments also on the dishes served. It has been several times near our table (there were only 4 tables in our room) but it never stopped for a quick nod. As it happened to me in many starred restaurants that the chef, if he decides to appear in the dining room, greets everyone without making distinctions. Maybe even just a moment to say "Good evening, I'm Antonello Colonna. Is everything okay? Could be an appreciated courtesy. However, five-star rating more than necessary.

Really nice and special hotel with extraordinary rooms and a magnificent pool! The staff is really friendly and helpfully all the time... . It s a 40 minutes drive from Rome, but the area and the little village Labico is nice to visit too... You can easily hike to the town and make nice hiking tours in the area!
We enjoyed our stay a lot and probably will go back if we have the opportunity! We stayed here in June 2020... .

If you are looking for the essence and want tranquility this is the right place. Here from breakfast to dinner, stopping for a moment in the SPA, you will be pampered without realizing it with discretion and savoir faire. The Chef's stories and the flavors of his recipes make the experience unforgettable. Every so often I give myself two days to recover energy and develop new ideas. Try it you won't regret it.

Quiet place surrounded by greenery, all the products you eat are home-grown, each course you eat and prepared by the chef, all genuine, not to mention the desserts. There are two pools, one of which is covered plus the spa.

Enchanting is the appropriate adjective to describe it. Everything is excellent, from the sublime food to the good taste in the furnishings and outdoors. Highly recommended

A lot of money down the drain. Absolutely not worth it. Modern structure dispersed in the countryside of labico and cmq a stone's throw from the highway where you can hear all the noises.
The spa is the same as all the others, nothing exceptional except a darker midnight pool with very dangerous submerged steps. I risked getting hurt between water steps and pitch dark without light on the tub which is already black.
The masseuses came to pick me up from the outside relaxation area ten minutes before the massage started and two minutes after it finished (a bad massage by the way. It left me bruised. After saying twice to be quiet ) literally sent us out of the room. The outdoor pool is a black hole it looks like a swamp with the robot inside all the time and when they pulled it away it was stormed by bugs. The outdoor swimming pool, besides being small, is petrol black. There is not even a bathroom and a changing room nearby.
Dinner as food at record prices obviously went well.
But one dish was completely pierced by the chef Antonello Col (in the dining room) I am talking about cavatelli with squid. Tasteless !!!!
The bubbles at the beginning of the meal cost 12 euros per glass. They have two menus, one starred the other traditional obviously expensive also this but less than the other.
Too bad he never came to our table.
The improvised and rude reception ladies. There is great arrogance and carelessness.
The room taken at 15 they ordered to leave it already at 11.
When we asked if despite leaving the room we could stay and sunbathe in the pool without using any other service, they said absolutely no.
But paying 100 euros (to stay a couple of hours just to sunbathe near the "pond") of difference there would have been no problems.
Representing this to the chef Antonello Col - owner of the structure - after paying 583 euros for less than 24 hours including dinner and couple's massage (78 euros each) he replied by uttering exact words: "lady, how can you imagine I travel the world only in seven stars and there are rules to respect, this is a 5 star luxury hotel (but please don't joke !!!) It is a hotel that I gave myself "with an arrogant, know-it-all tone and way out of place.
In reality, in front of the real 5 stars, a modern farmhouse can be classified, reflecting the provincial style with which it is managed.
If the chef is true that he travels the world and obviously does it with the money that his customers bring him between restaurants and hotels, he should learn that hospitality, education and respect for the customer are the first things.
In the world there is no rule that prohibits the structure from letting guests stay after leaving the room (which we wanted to do in advance) to sunbathe by the pool. I'm sorry but about being in the world he didn't understand anything in the first place how to build customer loyalty and make him come back.
But obviously this is of no interest.
The important thing for this structure that reflects the philosophy of the owner chef is: once the customers arrive who have already paid for the room, they stop for a very expensive dinner and it is not worth it, send them away as soon as possible after having administered a breakfast poor but genuine.

Very interesting facility and relaxing atmosphere. Excellent dinner, simply divine ravioli with tomato and basil. The sweet is wonderful. Comfortable room, but with little privacy in the bathroom area, beautiful window at the foot of the bed, overlooking the green. Bad organization though. The first booking failed, we organize ourselves with work and the children for the day indicated by them, we arrive and find ourselves closed, an employee informs us that the structure was closed to record commercials. Luckily we were in the car and were able to go home to eat and sleep. They give us a new day, tasting menu and breakfast. Not very rich, but of quality, except for celiacs (they served industrial biscuits and supermarket bread). On leaving they ask us for extras, water and wine 64 euros. After the inconvenience of the missed booking, the extras shouldn't even have been calculated. Disappointment.

What a disappointment. The room invaded by flies (some dead bodies on the floor). Service absolutely below fame. All pretentious. The dinner, however, was excellent.

Modern and essential structure immersed in the peaceful Labico countryside. Spacious, bright interiors. Minimalist furniture with designer pieces and specimens recovered from the past in a pleasant balance.
The dishes on the menu enhance the ingredients of Roman and local cuisine re-proposed in an original guise and with a surprising taste. The wine list highlights the cellars of the region but also offers other Italian and French wines. Prompt, courteous and discreet service.

From the location to the impeccable service, breathable professionalism

The restaurant in my opinion is not suited to the country context and prices, the pool with the black backdrop was disturbing, the bathrooms with resin on the ground seemed to me an autogril, minimalist environments seemed to be at the metro station, or rather the metro station C San Giovanni is more beautiful, without air conditioning, magic in the dark, without a tablecloth, the starred dishes I did not like particularly I will not be fine enough to appreciate the pasta alla carbonara to the negative, I prefer a good traditional pasta carbonara sorry ... I am a traditionalist and I like homemade food. Place that's not for me.

Refined location, a stone's throw from Rome. Here relaxation is assured. Local wines and large windows. Swimming pool and halls where you can make your living room in complete tranquility. All around countryside and vast orchards.
The menu is nice, I would say exceptional. Try the butter and anchovy tortello; the pigeon breast; to finish with an excellent dessert, for example: a puff pastry puff pastry and custard.
To escape from the city and find a unique place where to find tranquility and impeccable hospitality, it is certainly the ideal place.

Beautiful structure, modern and minimal.
We stayed 1 night and had dinner inside the structure.
Great tasting menu, a perfect mix to taste everything that is tempting on the menu.
The only flaw, it lacks a bit of maintenance in the spa.

If you like matte grey, sharp angles, and living in cubes, this is the perfect place for you. And further, I will concede them their Michelin star was rightly earned. Decent spa, lovely hosts, amazing wine (of course), and the cherry on top were the automated blinds.

Interesting experience. Invited to a wedding reception, I had the chance to try some of Colonna's dishes (including the carbonara negative !!). Nice place in the Labico countryside, very simple structure in almost "raw" cement. Too bad for the absence of curtains in the reception room: the hot sun distracted us a little from the increasingly intriguing dishes that followed.

Nightmare food, my wife and I were sick all night, even though we took different things, I chose the tasting menu and my wife on paper, an incredible thing, without neglecting the fact that the tables were without tablecloth, uncomfortable chairs, cutlery resting on the table without any protection, other than michelin star, the only positive note was the service staff, however it was a dramatic experience we will not return.

For those who need absolute relaxation this is the right place! Minimal place with a combination of architecture, design and gourmet food. You can breathe tranquility both in outdoor spaces and in interior spaces. The spa is not very large but well made. The rooms are nice and clean. The cuisine followed by the starred chef Antonello Colonna is super! The first quality ingredients are processed to give us well-executed dishes with an amazing taste! Breakfast is also excellent with natural and genuine ingredients. I recommend it to those who want to treat themselves to an alternative weekend!

Disappointing dinner. Poor breakfast. Spa facilities very nice with sauna, steam, large hot tub hydromassage. Room rather good but with insufient air conditioning for a west facing room.

Immersed in nature, a lovely place, you feel pampered by everyone of the staff, they are very professional, and honestly I have never found so much kindness and helpfulness. Interior spaces and very wide open, I think is not a place for kids, try the SPA absolutely. Congratulations you are the top.
