Beautiful reality in the heart of Rome, created by the starred Chef Antonello Colonna, who delighted us with a 5-star refreshment all deserved! Excellent structure for corporate, institutional and private events. Recommended without doubt.

I have to give this restaurant a solid 4.8 star, o...

I have to give this restaurant a solid 4.8 star, one because of all the imbeciles on here that actually think they would get a Michelin star restaurant service and food for 16 euros from the buffet that they offer but the Michelin star is given to the dinner service and menu.
I will start with the wine list which is extensive and they have some of my favorites including a 1986 and 1964 Rothschild Lafite, the 86 is a much better year but I would love to know how the 64 tastes. I do digress, our sommelier (who was fantastic) recommended a 1997 Montevetrano, an incredible vintage and an incredible taste and pairs fantastic with literally every dish on the menu.
Now to the food:
Perfection.

This is the first time that I don t have to season my food in Italy most of the time everything is under seasoned and just bland. The food was incredible.

For the starter I had the Poche Fried Egg which was just faultlessness. I have never had a poche fried egg before, so it was just whimsical to start with it.
I also had 2 pasta dishes
The Genovese Tortellini and the Smoked Spaghetti both were fantastic! The main gentlemen describing the dishes offered free shavings of truffle on top of the smoked spaghetti which was just unimaginably great! I really want to taste the Burrata dish next time I come to Rome but they would probably have changed their menu.

The main dish we had the Lamb and the Orto Beef, the Lamb was just perfect the beef was just okay. In the USA we have perfected beef and at least the preparation and cooking of it. So I would recommend the Lamb as it was perfect. The sides that came with both dishes were just perfection.

For dessert I had the Pistachio Frozen Cookie and Candied Fruit and the Coffee Frangipane and Hazelnut Ice Cream. Both amazing.
They didn t have espresso but they did have an extensive rum and whiskey list. I really wish they had an espresso which would have been just perfection with the desserts.

I docked it .2 points because of the orso beef just wasn t on par as the rest of the dishes.

The Restaurant was absolutely amazing! Food was incredible and we'll priced at 16 pp for a buffet. Staff were very helpful and friendly. If Rome wasn't so far away from Australia I'd come back regularly!

Didn't like it... Was expecting pizza or fresh pasta.. Even the soup is bad..

Sorry. I don't know what were those on table. Just disappointment... (just refer to the photos..)

It was 16 euro per pax and 3.50 euro for my coffee (it's like so so bad) ..

I expect high standard for 1 star Michelin? The coffee, the tiramisu, the overall food.. Really??

Sorry for expecting too high.. It's my fault then..

City lunch: The space is great; the lunch not so much. The price isn't bad, and the variety is decent, and there's plenty of people removing plates - but there isn't much attention to the details that matter: several of the hot foods were at best lukewarm (put out without heaters); several of the dishes disappeared for minutes at a time to be refreshed, rather than being replenished in situ; and the quality of the dishes wasn't consistent with the restaurant's overall rating. We don't plan to go back.

Maybe it was too sofisticated for us, but for sure it's the worst restaurant we ever ate in.
The small dishes were very insulting, combined with extremely expensive prices, it sumed to very bad experience.

It is an experience to be programmed to savor Colonna's cuisine, one of the reference points of Lazio cuisine. Exclusive place and exceptional dining, excellent service. When you get to these places you don't have to pay any expense because the quality is high.

For those looking for a real restaurant, with maniacally cared for dishes, ancient flavors that are unlikely to be found in other places, this place is the top, for those who come to Rome and really want to eat and drink superfine wine, can not not make a stop at Antonello, perfect combinations, trained and cordial staff, an exceptional place ...

Honestly, I would have expected a little more from the kitchen!
The location was not to my liking, I thought it "cold".

I took my wife here on the night of our engagement, and it was a mind blowing experience - the chef's tasting menu was rich, and a really amazing ride for the senses. The staff were 10/10, and we felt truly looked after. A great Michelin experience!

Beautiful gastronomic experience in the setting of the exhibition building. Very good Sunday brunch buffet in the bright bioclimatic greenhouse and a bit noisy. Adequate and professional service. Recommended especially in conjunction with museum exhibits

I put 5 stars which means that I was satisfied, but I must say that not all the dishes are at the same level, some very good others others less than expected.
Very good pasta and beans, very good carbonara negative.

Welcomed by an unpredictable silence in the center of Rome, you can have a brunch (let's say it's more a buffet lunch) on the terrace of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni. The location is really beautiful, a glass case surrounds the restaurant on the roof of this beautiful building on Via Nazionale.

The kitchen, say of a multi-starred chef, is not surprising, in fact, it was better not to know it to be considered a classic weekday lunch. Price a little high for the level of cuisine, but the place certainly deserves it. To spend a different Sunday.

Wonderful. Self service at will, little variety but excellent preparation and care with the buffet. Good price if you think about Europe. 50% more expensive than any fast food to eat real food, well prepared, good service and dessert included.
Entrance to the restaurant is somewhat complicated, on a side staircase.
I recommend!

Lunch break every now and then. I work nearby. It is necessary to distinguish between OPEN COLONNA open for lunch from Monday to Friday with the city lunch (all you can eat) formula 16 and on Saturday and Sunday with brunch 30, and the COLONNA RESTAURANT open from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner, 1 Michelin star.
As for lunch at the fixed price of 16 you must add 2.50 of filtered water and 2.00 of coffee to the table, if you wish. Wide assortment of first courses, main courses, cheeses, side dishes, soups. Special note for desserts. But don't expect a starry kitchen. They are well cooked and presented as a buffet and represent excellent value for money compared to other offers in the area. Suitable for dining alone, in company, during a break from the museum or for informal and at the same time effective business lunches. The brightness of this place, the silence and the good background music make it an ideal place to pull the plug for lunch. Friendly and polite staff. The location contributed to the five-star rating.
Disabled access from Via Piacenza to Open Colonna. For the restaurant it is to be verified because there is an additional flight of stairs.
