I recently purchased a 2018 Kia Niro from Sherwood Kia and the experience was everything that I could have hoped for. Let me start off by saying that I live significantly closer to other Kia dealerships which I visited but after a disastrous encounter but still wanting the Niro I was referred to Sherwood Kia by my best friend since high school. He had previously visited there looking to upgrade his brother's company fleet with some Rondos. He dealt with Alaldeen and highly recommended him. He spoke glowingly of his thoroughness, personality and approachability. I made the appointment for later that week.

From the first instant I arrived there, I sensed a positive difference. Alaldeen delivered as promised. I met with Leland the Sales Manager and related my previous experience in which he empathicized and guaranteed that Sherwood Kia was a different type of dealership.

Due to its rarity, the Niro is a hard vehicle to view, test drive and purchase. I test drove the base model 3 months prior but it was not the Touring edition. There had not been that edition in all of Edmonton since early summer. In addition, the colour I chose (Ocean Blue) was a colour not on any other vehicle in the Kia lineup. The fact that this was the 3rd rarest car in Canada and I'd be buying a car without ever driving it or even seeing the colour made me extremely nervous to say the least. Both Alaldeen and Leland were very supportive and were able assuage my concerns and the deal went forward. All that was left was to have my car built specifically for me (6 weeks).

Due to the 6 week wait, I dealt with 2 different Finance reps. Both were very friendly but I'd like to single out the 2nd rep (Rosalind), who went out of her way to make the deal happen and I really appreciated all her efforts. The car arrived in pristine condition and both Leland and Alaldeen were quick to point out that there were numerous requests by other shoppers to test drive my car. Thanks for holding them off by the way.

This Friday will be my 2 week anniversary, I have put over 350km on my 2018 Kia Niro Touring and I'm nearing half a tank, all for $36. I'm loving it. St. Albert, the community that I reside, is notorious for it's horrible traffic light system. Every election every candidate promises to address the problem but to date nothing has been fixed. Something has changed though, at least for me...... Whereas I used to get frustrated at every red light, now I just smile. That is the power of a hybrid, a hybrid that makes the world a truly great place.

Well folks if you read reviews I hope you believe what I am about to tell you. This dealership is the only one I would deal with as I just got my 5 car from there and I am loving it. Toma is General Manager this man is a man of his words and never let me down In fact I could not begin to say how great he is. Service manager Ivin I trust whole hearty he is busy but if you have a concern he will take the time to explain or help Tanya is just a wonderful person with a kind heart she knows her stuff and is great. Toma did some changes in the used car department and wow it was so great The Used Car Manager Kim cares about her customers and my salesman Bruce what a breath of fresh air so nice not pushy not your typical used car salesman. Good move on the used car department. I have not made any of this up nor would I not say the truth what would that get me.. So if you have not gone to Sherwood Park Kia go and see for yourself. Is there any other Kia dealers Yes But not like them And I did try another Kia dealership 5 min from me I would rather drive 30 min. because they do treat you like family. Actions speak louder than words

I dread shopping but vehicle shopping gives me anxiety.
I checked out a few dealerships but Kia was my choice.
I found what I wanted and got the price I wanted.
Al is an Amazing man who will make you feel welcome as well as comfortable.
The manager Kim is a super sweet lady who helped me with all my questions and concerns.

Where do i begin. I originally posted a 5 star review right after i bought my car but now...not so much. I finalized the purchase of my 2020 Kia Rio 5 right after Christmas. Middle of January (less than a month of owning my car)comes and we get that awful cold snap. I keep my car plugged in at night, drive it to work and it is an ice box. My boyfriend has to boost me numerous times. I get no heat and the best part is..my engine temp is sitting on high....as soon as turn my car on in -35 weather. I take it to kia and there is an issue with the thermostat and because of that my battery is frozen. They say i have to purchase the battery because they dont cover it. I go in and say NO. This vehicle isnt even a month old...im not buying a new one. Talk to sales manager and its all good...new battery in for free. I pick up the car a few days later and they say it is good to go...no more issues should be good.
A month later we get another cold night, i plug in my car and sure enough...the engine temp guage goes right again to hot and it barely starts...even tho again it is -30. I call Kia and the service lady tells me they are still waiting on the parts to come in from Korea. WHAT PARTS??? i was never told there were parts that were on order for my car. I was told it was fixed when i last picked it up in January after they replaced my battery. This was a shock knowing that i have been driving my car without knowing that there was still an issue with it. I express my concern and frustration regarding that. I would have randomly got a phone call that the parts were in for my car without even knowing?? My service lady says the parts are still going to be another 2.5 weeks to come in (its been a month already since they ordered them) from korea so i get provided a rental. Fast forward 2 weeks, parts came in and my car is fixed...good to go and im on my way. Reminder....ive only had my brand new 2020 car for 2 months. A week goes by and on a nice day driving home from work (this week) my car keeps beeping at me. I look and sure enough....my engine temp guage is ONE AGAIN on hot.
I call kia.....again!!!! For the 3rd time now. They tell me to bring it in and i am once again....not even a week later in a rental vehicle. I was just called 2 days ago that the parts are coming in from Korea. I will have my rental for another MONTH.
Safe to say i am not happy at all. I have had my car not even 3 months and half of the time i have been in a rental. I dont know how there can still be an issue with the same thing. Why wasnt everything fixed the first time. We spoke to the service manager and nothing really happened with that.
It just sucks that i paid all this money for a car that i am not even comfortable driving because im thinking something is going to break....and is in the shop most of the time.
My service rep (Val) has been super nice and helpful but this inconvenience is getting to be way too much. Having to take off work or miss work time becsuse im dealing with my vehicle. My BRAND NEW kia rio 5.

Only went for a test drive. But Amin had everything set up clean in the time of Covid to allow me to test drive what I was looking at and suggested a better and even cheaper alternative and I agree with him it is more suiting. The manager was happy to talk me through a few financing options and work to get me out of a lease on a terrible car from another company.

Haven't made a decision as to what I want to drive, a different company has me thinking a lot. However if they get my business or not the way I was treated and the clear options presented to me lead me to think this would be a great place to do business with.

I needed some fasteners for my licence plate on my K900. I had tried a dealership on the west side of town and they looked at me like I had two heads. So I decided to give Sherwood Kia a try and it was a great experience, the parts people were a big help and even secured my licence plate for me. Keep up the good work everyone.

They are usually awesome. This time I went in for an oil change and a peace of mind inspection and thought all was done until I got a friend to take a look at my car after and there were fluids missing which should have been filled. So not happy l.

Gave me a great price on my trade-in too, more than I was expecting. I didn't feel like I had to haggle to get a good price and everybody was very transparent about the entire process. Alex, and Drayden were both exceptional and went above and beyond to try and get everything I asked for and more. On a short deadline they were able to pull it all together, and I'm going to recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a new car. The Stinger is also ridiculously nice. I recently purchased a preowned SUV from sales person Ronaye. It was my first time purchasing from a dealership and I was fairly nervous, Ronaye made it an absolute breeze! Everything was finalized in a few short days from the initial search at KIA. They had my SUV transferred in from another dealership and had it cleaned extremely well and ready to go for pick up. They supply you with all the documentation, a full tank of gas and your on your way! She was very honest that the vehicle wasn't in the condition she had promised from the previous dealership but did all she could to have a few minor blemishes buffed out before pick up! I would highly recommend this dealership, but would recommend Ronaye over anyone!

I had a 2014 Sorento and I ABSOLUTELY love it!!!! I was wanting to get into a newer one because I love it so much!! I went in and spoke with Gordon Miller and he was so sweet and accommodating. He answered all my questions and more!! I might be a pain in the butt to deal with sometimes and he was amazing!! Leland Wilcox is one of the most down to earth, funny, caring managers I have ever had to deal with. He made sure that I was well looked after in every way possible. They were not pushy or demanding in any way!! Sam Gill in finance took such good care of me and my daughter when I brought her in to sign the papers. All 3 of the people that I dealt with made my daughter and I feel so welcome!!

I just bought my second kia from this dealership. Amin was great to deal with, and this time was my best experience with a finance department.

2 years ago I went to Sherwood Kia to upgrade from a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire GT coupe to an SUV or crossover since I had a child on the way. I was directed to Cory and he did an amazing job at showing me some options I had. I was deciding between a ford escape or a dodge journey I we went with the Journey because It had more room, it was more affordable and it didn't have the problem circled on the front. In the end me my wife and I made a great decision and our salesman helped us along the way.

Service was fast and service adviser Meagan was friendly and told
us what was required how long it would be and was ready when est.

This was the most stressful vehicle buying experience that my wife and I have ever had. At least that's how it started! When you absolutely need a vehicle and don't know what, if any, options you have, it makes for a lot of tension. When your wife has to walk to work because you are a two vehicle household with only one that works, let me tell you, you are not in the running for husband of the year! Lol
When I came to Sherwood Kia I was frustrated and overwhelmed. Greeted by Kim Gebran, I had little, to no hope. However from the outset, Kim set out to prove me wrong. She immediately made it clear that she worked for us. She said we were her priority and that selling us a vehicle was secondary to making sure our needs were taken care of, even if that meant we eventually ended up buying from some where else. There would be zero pressure!
Boy, what a statement to make. It'll be tough to live up to that, I thought. Well Kim did everything she said she would do. She walked us through this experience every step of the way. If she promised something, she delivered on it. If something didn't make sense or wasn't in our best interest, she was honest about it. Kim fought for us the entire time.
Once we got to the point where we needed to talk to finance, Kim sent us to see Catherine Morgan and it was there that I finally had some peace about whether this whole ordeal could come to a positive end. Usually, in my experience, finance is where the deal turns sour and we get extremely frustrated. But Catherine was above and beyond!! Just like Kim, she made it very clear that we were her "mission." Cat made us feel like we had a chance, and she worked hard to turn that chance into reality!!
The long and short of it... If you are in the market for a vehicle, you have to go see Kim Gebran. Let her "work for you". Let her introduce you to Catherine Morgan in finance and let her complete her next "mission". I know you will drive home in exactly the right vehicle for you! We did!!

When recently looking for a vehicle, Ronaye at Sherwood Kia was exceptionally helpful throughout the process! She listened to my concerns and helped identify vehicles which would fit my criteria as best she could. She was very good about keeping me up to date on new arrivals at the dealership and checking in on my progress (even when I had a packed schedule). As it turned out I did not end up purchasing from her, but that is not a reflection of her service so much as I stumbled across another vehicle independently at exactly the right time. Would highly recommend her to my friends and relatives when they are considering a vehicle purchase as she was very easy and reasonable to work with!

Sherwood Park Kia is one of best dealership in greater Edmonton. This evening was my first experience with this dealership and I was impressed. I have not had good experiences in the past with dealerships. Drayden (sales representative) and Kim (sales manager) changed that completely for me! From the second we walked in, the staff were all friendly and Drayden immediately asked how he could help us. We live a SUPER busy life and the time and stress of sitting at dealerships made me put it off but they made this effortless for me. They were straight to the point and quick, they answered ALL of my questions off knowledge (they didn't even have to look it up for me!) Drayden and Kim are very knowledgeable and have a comforting personality which made the experience that much better. I would highly recommend dealing with both of them to anyone. I left happier then I could have imagined and they met all of my requirements for what I had wanted, even meeting my required bi-weekly payment. I would go back to them in the future in a heart beat. We recently bought a second hand Ford Fusion Hybrid, and in the past had bought a new Kia from Sherwood Kia. On both occasions the staff and managers were courteous, helpful and didn't use the annoying pressure selling techniques some other dealers use. I'd highly recommend, especially Paul Dhillon who helped us with our recent purchase.

My girlfriend, Lori Dahl and I just purchased two new vehicles after shopping at two other Kia dealerships and the bottom line price at this dealership was significantly lower for the same vehicle trims and our trade ins were much higher. We also received a good deal on remote starters. Our salesman, Alaeldeen Abdelmoneim was very straight forward, accommodating and efficient. There was absolutely no pressure to buy which was refreshing and the sales manager LeLand Wilcox was also very straight forward and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable well priced vehicle in a comfortable no pressure relaxed environment.

I've been to many dealerships, but no dealership compares to Sherwood Kia when it comes to Customer Service, and Pricing. No hassle and unnecessary BS negotiation. They will own up to their mistakes. My experience with Dayna was good. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful during the sales process. My only issues were with the communication between the various departments and people involved in the purchase of the vehicle. There were a few miscommunications on financing and other information, but they were resolved. Most of our interactions were done over the phone and I found that we were waiting on several occasions for someone to call us back.

Purchased my Optima recently from Alaeldeen. He was very polite and easy to deal with.

So it all started about a year ago when my car was a write off, and needed a vehicle. The first person I thought of was Sasan. He had always been there for me in finding my vehicles in the past. So found out he was working at Sherwood Kia as the new car sales manager. Went over to see him and, with in a few days had picked out my vehicle. The staff there was awesome! They were able to help me out with all of my questions and concerns. There were a few little things that went wrong but they took care of them with a smiling face. I now have been driving my vehicle for about a year and have had no problems and very happy with my purchase. To anyone wondering if going to this dealer ship is a good idea, let me set you straight. We bought our first Kia in October of 2015, a 2012 Kia Sportage, and were sorely disappointed with our experience. 32 days in and the engine seized. 6 weeks in the shop and nothing but engine problems after that. We realized we had bought a lemon and despite the fact that Sherwood Kia always honored our warranty and treated us well we knew that the warranty was eventually going to come to an end and we would be left with our money pit of a car. In April of 2016 the Sportage was back in the shop for yet another engine issue. The next morning we received a phone call from Kim Gebrand saying that she was a salesperson at Sherwood Kia and had noticed our vehicle being pushed into the service entrance and thought she would take a look at our file and see what the history was on it. She said that when she saw what we had been through and the bleak future the vehicle had she thought she would give us a call and see if we might be interested in getting into a new vehicle. We were not overly optimistic but having Kim reach out like this made us feel like maybe somebody did care and we let curiosity get the better of us. Kim got us into a 2016 Sorento, the vehicle we had originally wanted before settling for the Sportage. She pushed for us when nobody else would and made an impossible situation real. Anybody who gets Kim on there side has the best chance possible of getting into the vehicle of their dreams. Thank you Kim, you're the best!

So many dealerships don t really care and just want you to come in to discuss, Gordon took the extra time to help me out over the phone. When I was finally able to come in Gordon was exceptional to deal with, very honest accommodating and easy to work with. Our experience at the dealership was wonderful. Our team was great, Cassidee, Kim and Alex. The vehicle we purchased was not ready to take off the lot right then and Cassidee offered to deliver the vehicle to us, a 100+ kilometer drive. It was when the vehicle was delivered to us we were told there was only one key and no manual. We were shocked. That was never told to us the whole time we were at the dealership. Our request for a second key and a manual at Sherwood Kia's expense fell on deaf ears. The experience of purchasing our new vehicle went from exceptional to totally disappointing.

As an employee at Sherwood Kia, and after being a service advisor for over 22 years, I have spent the last 10+ years here. Working in service can be very stressful, it s no different anywhere. However, it s the people you work with, and for, as well as the incredible customers that we have, that keep me here. Over the years, I have developed relationships with many of them, and don t consider them customers anymore. They are friends that I just happen to change their oil and take care of their vehicles, and I handle them with the same care, and consideration that I would my own family s. Because that is what they have become to me. Over the years, we have experienced triumphs and tragedy s together, celebrated victories and commiserated our defeats, and have made so many great friends out of here, both staff and clients. I can tell you that yes, you can get your vehicle serviced anywhere you want, but here, you have people that genuinely care about you and your vehicle, that want to take care of you, and have your best interests at heart.

I was very impressed with SHERWOOD KIA and the sales team, specifically Alvio. I had a certain car I was looking for and he never gave up on finding me the car I wanted and kept in contact with me. I have been to many dealerships and I strongly recommend this dealership and its friendly staff to anyone. Booked our 2013 Sorrento for some maintenance (oil change, engine tune up, and coolant flush). The cost estimate we were given was accurate with no surprises, in fact the total bill was slightly below the estimate. The service advisor handling our vehicle also reminded us that we had accumulated a significant number of service points with could be applied in further reducing the cost, something that we had forgotten about. This kind of attention in handling our account is greatly appreciated......thank you

I recently traded in my 2-door Kia for a AWD euro vehicle on their used lot. At first I was a bit skeptic as this was my first experience with a luxury euro car and I was getting it from a Kia dealership but from day 1 they worked hard to eliminate all my worries. When I arrived to view the vehicle I was met by Rachael. I have purchased a few cars now and I can say hands down she has been the best sales person I have dealt with to date. From the multiple test drives to putting up with countless questions (often at odd hours) she has come through every time. If you are looking for a vehicle and want to feel like you are taken care of then she is the lady to see.

Booked appointment went for a test drive and bought a kia soul. Salesman was new but his co-workers assisted him accordingly. good trade in price for my car and good price given for winter tires, paint sealant and undercoating.

Basically got an oil change here took an hour and staff was nice and not to pushy

Awesome dealings with Kia again, Ronaye made this time very pleasant.
She went out of her way to come in on a day off for me to pick up my truck. Even when problems arrouse, she still made it work so I did not have to drive back to Edmonton a third time for truck.
