My wife and I just purchased our first and probably not our last Kia! We bought a 2018 Kia Sedona sxl and first impressions is that I like it alot. I never thought I'd buy or even like a Kia but the staff and salespersons at Sherwood Kia really gave me a great experience. Our sales person Bruce at Sherwood Kia the finance department and sales managers were all fantastic. From the get-go our sales person Bruce greeted us with a great big smile and was pleasant and polite to us the whole time he dealt with us. Bruce shines in this department he showed us only the vehicles that we wanted to see and didn't try to push us. Bruce answered all the questions we had. If if Bruce didn't know the answer he didn't lie to us he simply said I'm not sure and went immediately and found out the correct answer . His knowledge of the vehicles his passion for what he's doing and his kindness is what won us over. We previously owned a 2010 and 2013 Honda Odysseys and really we're looking to buy another one but the the great service and exceptional vehicle experience at Sherwood Kia really made me change my mind. I want to give a great big thanks to Sherwood Kia for all that they did to get us into a new vehicle kudos to you and your staff!!!!
I bought a new car from this dealership, price is reasonable, service is ok, but the shuttle service is limited to time and distance, overall it is better than other dealership.

Purchased a brand new Sorento and loved it. We then found out that we were having twins and quickly realized that we did not fit in the Sorento with two car seats in the back (Mom and Dad are both 6 tall). Went back to Sherwood Kia and we traded in for a Sedona. Everyone there was super understanding and I think we got a great deal.

Had an amazing experience! This was my first new car purchase and Scott was patient and so accommodating! He wasn't pushy in the least and continued to ensure I was happy throughout, even when he already had the deal! When I had questions about the truck after it was running, Ivan, the service manager, answered all of my questions and concerns about a smell which turned out to be an engine coating burning off. Being a 19 year old, My salesman Amin treated me with respect as a buyer and was never pushy. He helped me find the right car for me and went through every feature and function thoroughly. They provided me a deal. I said sir its out of my budget then they negotiated it. They I decided to visit them. When I took the test drive. I liked tht car. After tht they told me tht sir the price of the car is more. They sai tht its expensive. And said it was a mistake. First they told me to over and have a look then they saud its a mistake 0.5 stars

Honestly just a phenomenal experience throughout, very friendly and personable staff. Kim in particular was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and gave me by far a heck of a better deal than any other kia i have gone to right at the start without even negotiating, even though i did not end up buying they were very understanding and treated me the same regardless. What sets this kia apart from the rest is the open book policy, Kim gave me all the numbers that i wanted to see and a good breakdown of other things without dodging the questions and giving false numbers, I truly have nothing bad to say about this kia. They dont pressure you to buy a car granted my situation was a bit more stringent for a timeframe, they dont mess around and play games with you jumping through hoops.

We purchased a 2016 KIA Sorento SX TGDI on Monday, August 29th. From the start of walking into Sherwood Kia to look at vehicles to walking out with the keys a few days later, we were impressed with the professional and friendly manner of all the staff with whom we talked. We would recommend Sherwood Kia to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle. The interior is spacious - from the front seats to the storage area in the rear. The finish, both exterior and interior, is smooth with upscale details. We will enjoy all the features which are part of the Sorento, such as the quiet ride, comfortable seats, heated and cooled seats, the sunroof with sunshade, the storage compartments, the Power Liftgate,, Bluetooth, and Blind Spot Detection. I would like to say thank you to Dayna Gerling at Sherwood Kia. Right before coming to Kia, I went to another place and got no help. The salesman was even reluctant to let me have a test drive and pushing me to make decision immediately. But things are different when I at Sherwood Kia. As soon as I got there, I was greeted and Dayna really helped me a lot. Dayna has been so patient, knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process. He answered all my questions and help me fix my insurance.

My experience was great till I was explained what things needed to be done 2 safety issues was mentioned so I got them done but then he mentioned my tires. He was surprised when I said they were new. And then my routers. I told him my brakes were new too
This is the second time we have used Sherwood Park Kia to purchase a company vehicle. Both times it has been a Kia Soul as they look great all decalled up with our company logo and graphics. The service we received this time from Gordon was EXCELLENT! I could not think of anything he missed. Very detailed and knowledgeable. Every person we came in contact with as Sherwood Kia was friendly and helpful. Touchwood Flooring will highly recommend this dealership and Gordon ~ the Excellent Sales Consultant.
Getting an appointment was a bit of a process. Purchased paint and undercoating package and was told I would be contacted for the inspection date yearly. At the end of the first year I had heard nothing. Contacted Sherwood Kia and was assured I am in the system and would be contacted. Nothing happened. At the end of year two I made contact again and was told a service advisor would contact me. There was no return call. This happened a second time, so I decided to go to the dealership to sort out. It was explained that there is no system to contact the customer for inspections and it was the vehicle owner's respondibility. Booked an appointment for the inspection. All ended well, can't say the same for the beginning.
Bruce was very accommodating, giving us space when we needed it at the beginning of our vehicle search, and helping us when we needed questions answered as well. He was also exceedingly kind and patient with our two sons. He did everything he could to help us get the vehicle that best suited our needs, and went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect for us. On the last day we met, he even installed our floor mats for us. I m sure that wasn t his job, but he did it anyway because it needed to be done and he wanted to help get us on the road quicker.
Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. Because we dealt with so many people from different departments (sales, financing, parts, management) we had some communication issues. This is the only area we feel this dealership needs to work on, BUT we did leave with a vehicle that suits us perfectly. It has everything we wanted, and is a joy to drive. In the end, we couldn t ask for more, and are very satisfied customers. We would be happy to by another Kia from this Sherwood Park dealership again.
The Salesman was very quick at having the paper process done fast and I was able to get financing with less then great credit. But the problem I have is the SUV I was sold had more damage done to it then was declared and is mechanically unsafe to drive and now I can't get anyone to call me back regarding the issue. So buyer beware and check the vehicles from front to back and ask questions and get paper work cause the salesman are obviously worrying more about their commission then the safety of the vehicle they are selling you.

Went in for an oil change and Maintenance 2 and they discovered my front springs were cracked and didn t recommend that I drive the vehicle until it was fixed. Decided to fix the car but it was Saturday afternoon and needed to figure out a vehicle for going to work until it was fixed. Tanya would try to have it fixed by Tuesday because they were really busy in the shop. To my delight, Tanya was able to get one of the technicians to work longer on Saturday to work on my vehicle and he finished it Monday morning. These two went above and beyond my expectations and am so appreciative of their kindness. Picking my vehicle up after work was a delight. Thank you Tanya and the unknown technician for making my day! You re the best!!!
I was a brand new car buyer, buying a car for the very first time ever not knowing what to expect or get Ronaye Parish went out of her way for me to pick me up in my home and dropped me off. She was very patient and Kind and explained everything to me and helped me narrow my choices down to what i want and need with out any pressure that you feel from other dealerships. This dealership was great! I came down in need of a car quick as my previous car was wrote off. Nick, Alex and Gary got me set up in a beautiful Seltos before the weekend was over. They made the whole process convenient and easy.
Bought a Kia Sedona. They sold us a colour that they later realized they didn't have in so they had to ship it in from another location. At delivery we realized it was missing the block heater. We made sure not to sign off the block heater section. They said they would install it at first service. We had them take a note of this. We called to book service yesterday. They insisted it had a block heater and Alex the new sales manager flat out told us we were wrong. Extremely rude to us. Really? Maybe look at your own paperwork before telling us we don't know what we are talking about. So today we took it in for service and it was missing a block heater. Who knew?!?! Maybe don't assume you know everything and your customers know nothing Alex. Steer clear of this dealership. Not even an apology from these clowns. Edit. Once they saw this post they called to apologize, so I will give them an extra star. And as per the comment below they didn't like my use of the word clowns. I suppose arrogant or incompetent would have been a better term. I guess the customer is always wrong even when they have paperwork showing they are right?
Kindly stay away from this particular dealership. Especially manager named Alex who is very disrespectful, unprofessional and rude. Me and my friend drove all the way from Camrose to get a car but didn't happened due to way they treated us. Dealt with sherwood Hyundai last year twice and they were awesome which made us to visit kia dealership since they were under same ownership but very disappointed!
Mr. Alex needs coaching and training on how to respect customers. Hopefully, someone will take this seriously and take some action.
Horrible customer service. I'll start there. I took my Kia in for service as the engine light came on, and the vehicle was in limp mode. When I brought it in they said they would check it out and probably have it back before the end of the day. No one called to give me an update, by the end of the day I called and was told they were still running tests and would get back to me. I asked for a loaner, and apparently Kia doesn't have loaners. The next day I was supposed to have an update by the morning I called at noon and they said they knew what the problem was but they didn't have any parts to fix it. So they had to wait for Kia to decide what they would do as it was warranty work. Finnaly they had ordered a part, but it had to come from Vancouver, so it might be here by Tuesday. I exspressed my issue of not having a vehicle and they said "I know we don't have any loaners sorry" not helpful, oh wait the offered to order a rental for me, not helpful. So Tuesday rolls around no update so I called found out the part arrived but wasn't in yet, should be finished before 5pm well I did get a call back finally to tell me sorry we have to keep it another night to make sure the engine light doesn't come on in the morning. Our tech with start it and make sure it's ok in the morning. JUNK. I won't be comming back to this Kia for service, because they can't seem to make up thier own minds and they can't seem to call you to update you unless you badger them first. In Alberta if you don't have a car you are very inconvenienced, and this Albertain is very upset. Never again, I was trying to support local and this is how it turned out.

I dealt with Steven at the dealership. He was courteous and straight forward. They gave me a decent price right away so I didn't have to haggle. I'm happy with their service and would not hesitate to do business with them again.
Avoid this dealership like the plague. It's a long story....Bought a 2014 Kia Sorento with about 72,000 kms. Paid 19k cash. 2 months in, the vehicle won't turn over. Get it towed in, warranty expired two days earlier, Kia wouldn't make an exception (which I can understand. Warranties are black and white). Dealer reprograms fob keys, charges me 150$ and tells me I'm good to go. Pick up the vehicle, drive it home. Next morning, same thing. I call the dealer, Amy in service says "I'm really busy right now, I will call u back by the end of the day, I promise"...no phone call! Monday comes, I call Amy, no apology, she swears she never said that and we move on. I pay to get it towed back! It sits for a few days and the service manager tells me I need a new module, gotta order it from Ontario, Friday morning I'm told module is in u can pick up your vehicle at the end of the day...I show up around 4pm and guess what...the module wasn't the issue..we need to keep your vehicle a bit longer. 2 weeks goes by! Finally Ivan calls me and says..u need a new wiring harness...there's resistance in one of the wires and it's not allowing the vehicle to communicate with the key fobs! how much? 6k!!! I explain to them I'm not paying it..I paid 19k for the vehicle a few months ago. Then, here's the icing on the cake...the new vehicle manager, Kim I believe, calls me and says she's here to help, she's sorry about the situation and she will do whatever she can. She offers me a new Sorento and 7500$ on my trade! So I would owe 22k + 19k I just paid for my vehicle...so 41k on a vehicle worth 30k and they act like they are helping me? What a joke! Will never be back to this dealership and will never recommend Kia to anybody! They were a nightmare to deal with. Lack of communication, service, accountability and knowledge. I'm usually a pretty easy person to please and they were absolutely terrible to deal with. Not once did I feel like anybody looked after me...no apologies for screwing me and my family around for 3 weeks.
