Great place for the families, beautiful pools, the best tennis courts in Florida!
Great place for the families, beautiful pools, the best tennis courts in Florida!
Only improvment would be that my bed could have been made less poorly (the scratchy mattress cover was exposed) this is really a first world problem though
Very nice, clean and close to all the parks. Pool a cross from the market is great. Zimmies pool bar makes great frozen drinks and food.
The check in was so easy. Everyone is very nice. The room was clean and very nice. We will definitely come back
We were at Sheraton Vistana Resort for a week. The place was clean with good service.
Excellent family orientated resort with super facilities.
One of the pools requires maintenance and order ... smelled very bad, chlorine ... they lack whoever anime what they organize, for example, the last night of karaooke .... it was very boring!
Lovely and large resort. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Kids will love it. Rooms rates are good value for money.
Great Location - Very Central to all the Theme Parks
Spacious, nicely furnished condos on beautiful grounds with lots to do on site and close to everything Orlando has to offer. Restaurants are good but spendy, as you'd expect.
On site store is convenient for the basics, including a great deli but there's a Publix market very close by with better prices.
Fully equired kitchens with washer and dryer - but you'll need to bring your own laundry detergent and their price at their market is $1 per wash.
They sell tickets to the parks and other attractions at very good prices.
We plan to stay there again next year.
A very nice hotel, comfortable and clean. Very good pools and facilities.
Everything was top notch! 5 star all the way. We had 3 suites of various configurations and they were all immaculate. Excellent balcony views. Beautiful grounds. Awesome pools! Helpful staff. It's huge! Like a small town!
My husband and I booked 3 of the Sheraton's largest condos as we were taking our entire family (children, spouses, and grandchildren) to Disney World for our 40th anniversary celebration. We were very excited as we had used Sheraton hotels in the past and had been very pleased. This time, however, was VERY different. After the 2nd day of our stay - when it became apparent to them that we were not interested in buying into their timeshare program - the SERVICE GOT WORSE AND WORSE! We were even told by one of their van drivers that people who don't buy into their programs are automatically given lowest priority on any service. I will never book here again and will always choose MARRIOTT OVER SHERATON!!!
Everything was clean and nice. It took three times calling to get a silverware tray that was missing replaced. And after I shut the jets off in the Jacuzzi there was tons of dirt in tyhe the tub. I had my kids in there. I know they were not that dirty. I guess they don't pay much attention to that. If you go here I would fill it up and run the Jacuzzi to make sure it's clean.
Normally this place would rate 4 or 5 stars. Unfortunately this trip was a horrible experience with the worst being raw sewage backup into the main bathroom shower.
Haven't heard from the manager, so i guess that we dont seem to matter much.
Went to the Sheraton for the day to participate in the pop up America's Greatest Escape game, the hotel was accommodating and the temporary event was entertaining.
Beautiful place and there are a lot activities there...
Good place, kids friendly, please try to avoid getting into a timeshare.
Awesome . Great pools . Fun and games . Incredible room
Love this place definitely one of my favorite vacation spots in Florida.
I really really like this place. There is always something to do on the resort. We have done activities all day. Father and son playing Mario Kart at the Main activity Center.
I'm here for a USTA national tournament. We chose this resort because if the tennis courts and the ability to house eight women for an entire week. We have easy access to the tennis courts, pools, marketplace, and restaurants. They are all within walking distance!
Shearton Vistana is Always a perfect place to stay in Orlando, wonderful
Very clean and cozy. I would return without a doubt.
Very beautiful and abosolutely loved our stay there. Wish house keeping wasn't as pushy to get you out of the room...other than that, a must go to
We stayed at the resort as part of a Costco Disney vacation package. We were looking forward to our stay based on the great reviews, but our experience was far from pleasant. We will never return to the Sheraton Vistana Resort!
We stayed in villa 1333. The actual room was incredibly large & spacious and the furnishings were nice. That is where the good experience ended for us. Our biggest complaint was cleanliness and the housekeeping staff. When we arrived, our room was not clean. The hall bath had urine stains all over the toilet, as if had not been cleaned for a week. The headboard in the master was so dusty that dust was flying off as we adjusted our sheets. We found safety pins and other items in the carpet as if it hadn't even been swept. I called and left a voicemail on the manager line and they did call and apologize and come and service our room the next day, but we had eaten dinner on the dining table the night before and there were still crumbs on the table when we returned back the next evening, so they clearly had not even wiped the table down, even after we had complained about the cleanliness upon arrival. During our week long stay, the housekeeping service we received was inconsistent and never the same. Towels were not put in the same spots. Some days we received disposable cups in both bathrooms, some days we did not. The trash cans were never put back in their proper spots, but were left sitting out in the room. In the master bath area, there were two separate sink areas and one day we were only left one hand towel so if we wanted to use both sinks, we had to take that one hand towel back and forth. We did not have a Do Not Disturb sign in our room. The internet in our room was CRAZY slow. We experienced inconsistent information from guest services and the front desk. Things we were told at check-in we later found out not to be accurate.
The hotel offers a free breakfast voucher in lieu of room cleaning if you opt to not have your room serviced during certain days of your stay. One day we opted for the breakfast voucher that was offered if we opted out of having our room cleaned that day. We had breakfast at the restaurant once and never wanted to return. The breakfast quality was poor, and though we had a voucher, it definitely was not worth the typical price of $14.99. It was loud and chaotic, there were many dishes that were empty, including the breakfast potatoes and the syrup, and it took a long time for them to be re-filled or replenished. The eggs were really runny and I prefer my scrambled eggs to be more well done, so I asked if I could please get a plate of well done scrambled eggs. 30 minutes later I still had not received my eggs and asked again to find out they had forgotten to ask for them to be prepared. When they did finally come out, they were thin and cooked in a big flat round, they were not scrambled. They were dry and had little flavor. The experience was so bad and took so long that we opted to not return for another breakfast.
We had a room service credit as a part of our package and ordered room service for dinner during our stay. The pizza was not good and reminded me of cafeteria pizza. We did get a few appetizers and the onion rings were excellent, with crispy breading. If you are going to order room service, stick with the bar food type options.
The only positives of the resort were the convenient location to Disney for an off-Disney property and the security present at the entrances to the Villas.
We travel quite often for our job and this was the worst hotel experience we've had in years. We are not picky travelers, but the lack of organization and cleanliness at this property could not be ignored. We hope to return to Disney in the years to come, but we definitely will be finding a new resort to stay at!
A home away from home, complete apartments in gated community with club infrastructure (pool, playground and etc)
Great resort, plenty of entertainment, rooms are clean
Update from the other day. Love the location near good restraunts. We ate at bahama breeze, sea dog, BJ greenhouse, Miller's brew house and knife. All were good, not a bad meal anywhere. The grounds here are kept immaculate and the rooms are very clean as well. Full kitchen allows for cooking in but we are lazy and on vacation. Love the warm pools. Vacation here has been wonderful
We only stayed one night, but we got to enjoy the pool and the bed was really comfortable.
Vistana is a wonderful place the only issue I see is banking your days because the company that you bank with doesn't have upscale resorts of you do not want to stay at vistana
Excellent hotel
The quality of the apartments is incredible. Super comfortable very well equipped at a very good price.
It also has activities to do, how swimming pools very well maintained.
The complex is extremely large and is always very well taken care of.
Highly recommended when choosing a hotel to enjoy Orlando.
Great location to stay off site for our family Disney vacation.
Very well maintained with plenty of amenities. Basketball court, swimming, jogging Trail, you can check out sports equipment from the amenity Center. One of the best things about staying here was how convenient it was to access restaurants and the parks
Staff was rude. Only resort that closed main pool and all hot tubs.
Gave no good reasons for the closures.
Wouldn't even give late check-out even though they are only 20% full
TERRIBLE
If thinking about tths hotel stop cauz it SUCKS. Lizards everywere even in hotel room. Not a hotel with lobby down stairs.....its a 15 minute outboor walk to the lobby. And Horrible service
Just drove in to pick up a friend but staff were friendly and informative
Awesome resort but expensive for produce at the store and club
I've been going to this resort for about 15 years now, and it is better than ever! The staff is courteous and professional, and the amenities are top notch! My only regret is having to leave...
Found a roach inside bedroom bathroom on the floor and two inside the shower
Construction right outside currently disturbing our sleep. Some timeshare employees ruining Sheraton brand.
The resort is perfectly located to the parks and has every amenity we could have wanted. My only issue was the cost of meals and drinks on resort which were high.
Its very vast alot of things to do but your kids might get bored at the actual resort. mostly cuz its not for kids
It was ok without more. The space of the villa was perfect, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. The ventilation system was full of dust, the corners of the floors dirty and a constant smell of moisture in the villa. The site was very good though with pools and services. I expected better.
This place is amazing. The staff go above and beyond. The villas are spotless. This is definitely a place to go to sit back and relax.
Good vacation and l liked the place except the calls in the morning and rudeness from a few office people in particular. I'm not going to judge the Place based on that alone. The room was large but the washer and dryer didn't work and trash it was difficult to manage. The room was also very musty but that may have been because it's Florida. You could tell that the room got very humid and damp even with the air conditioning going and never truly dried out and always had a smell. It was close to Disney and other amenities. Overall we had a good experience in the town on vacation and I wouldn't write the place poorly just based on a few of the people that work there but the places are starting to get run down a little bit still it was enjoyable to visit.
We went for a "not time share" sales pitch. It was pretty good, just not for us.
Nice accommodations and staff. It's easy to get around without a car and there are pools and activity areas spread out across the property. Units are well maintained. It could use a few more food options, but it does give you enough choices and even a delivery option.
Bring own garbage bags(you take care of your own, the can is outside the condo, but bags are cheap and weak) extra dish washer pods and extra laundry pods if you have a big family. You will thank me!!!
Cannot get a hold of anyone there regarding them paying their bills. Responded to a weekend emergency call on two different occasions. They (Phil) stiffed the vendor(s) and refuse to pay. They refuse to take calls to resolve any issues. If they do this I can't imagine what else they manage poorly for their customers.......Spend your money elsewhere.
Great resort for family with kids. Only 7-8 Min. Driving from Disney World.
Location is 15 minutes away from Disney. Worth it if you get a deal on it. We did not go to any of the timeshare things, that seems worthless. Enjoyed it for what it is.
Great place to stay, very close to the attractions. The maids came in a little too frequently, I thought. Other than that, awesome experience
Had to give 1 star in order to write a review.
- the hotel is great
- the Zimmies bar and grill was horrible. No kids prices for breakfast. Really poor to no service
- hotel does give vouchers to Zimmies if you be green and do not use room service. 2 vouchers per day if no room service
- go for the room service, Zimmies is not worth it.
- realized I got charged adult prices for my kids
- go to IHOP
Great family rooms and pools, and great customer service
A great value for a family to stay a few nights. Big clean rooms and a large property to explore.
Giant apartment is very well furnished ... Leisure structure leaves to be desired ..
Bring a family or two and enjoy amazing rooms and amenities in a world class, affordable resort (as far as beachfront resorts go). The resort had amazing gulf views and is surrounded by nature (Everglades) and obviously the gulf itself. We got so much value for the dollar here that I would highly recommend this Marriott ... But bring a group, this isn't a place for just 2 people.
