Sheraton Vistana Resort Reviews

Nice place on the surface but constant problems. Had to carry up heavy luggage 3 floors because no elevator in the building. Loud and non working fan in the living room. Loud air conditioning making connstant noise if running in the master bedroom. Was supposed to have daily maid service but came back to an unmade room every day. Super stingy on supplies for the room. Only 2 pkgs of sugar given for 4 people staying 6 days. Had to call for more. Only 1 extremely tiny bottle of shampoo (good for 1] and had to call for more. Loud slamming every time a door was closed from another unit which echoed up to our unit, Had to choose every night if I wanted to give up a medical device, the phone/clock or lamp because not enough outlets. Chose the phone/clock but when it was plugged in the next morning the time was wrong with no way to fix it. When I called for directions I was told engineering needed to set the time because it was so complicated. Wall plugs were too big and anything plugged into any outlet fell out. By the way I am only on day 3 of my 6 day stay here. Marriott should be ashamed of themselves for this place especially since you can t even check in before you hear about becoming an owner here.

Terrible customer service. Awful check in process. Had to discuss timeshare presentation before I could even obtain my parking pass. Did I mention terrible customer service? Amenities sucked. Room was uncomfortably downgraded compared to others. Small rooms that look nothing like the pictures.

Nice resort in the Disney area, older buildings with a few maintenance issues, but the staff does their best. Very large resort, some nice pools and other family amenities

We had a great stay even during a rainy week. Having a washer and dryer on vacation is so convenient, and the Magic & Mayhem show was a good wholesome fun night. We enjoyed Karaoke at the resort too! We rode the pedal bikes around and just had a good time all around.

Excellent place for families, we got the 2 bedrooms suite and we got the privacy we wanted. The kitchen is full and the pools are amazing. The personnel is very friendly and are quick to repair anything you point.

Great facilities. Not a fan of perpetual sales pressure though. Unplug the phones in your room!

When you enter the resort it is very big and beautiful but it is very easy to get lost. The registration process is also slow

My family and I have stayed at Vistana for each of our trips to Florida for over 20 years now, and nearly every visit has been perfect!
The condos are clean and spacious, and the pools are plentiful and fantastic! I love that there is something for everyone to do. Plus, the location is great... just a short drive from Disney and other attractions!

We really liked this place. Suites were large and perfect for our family of 4. Prices were great for the time off year we went. Didn't charge for parking at resort, cost to Disney, Sea World, etc. We will be back.

Lovely place to be. Had a nice time with my family here. Good recreational facilities for kids and grown-ups; spa, sliding pool, mini golf etc

Excellent condo and area but Big Cedar Lodge is by far exceeding the service side.

I was invited to the Sheraton to attend a sales event whilst at Universal Island of Adventure. I was offered a $100 gift card and a free breakfast for only 90 minutes of my time.

The staff at the event were very polite. They are of course keen to sell you their points / time share offering however they do take no for an answer and it isn't a hard sell. I didn't become an 'owner' at this time, however I did sign up to become a preferred guest as I essentially got 2 holidays for $96 a month over the next 16 months and a lifetime SPG membership. I also got my $100 gift card. The only downside was it lasted a lot longer than 90 minutes ( 4 hours we were there Inc waiting time )

Great atmosphere. Amazing service. Wonderful acomidations. Terrible muffins and coffee.

On the 3rd time we stayed with my family. We'll do it next time if we would travel again

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and friendly. We stayed in a two bedroom villa. The pool was a hit with the kids. We are only 10 minutes from Magic Kingdom. I would gladly stay here again.

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would.

Let me start off by saying that this year was our second time staying at this resort. Last year everything was great!
But this year everything was a complete 360!
I can honestly say that they ruined our family vacation.
We checked in 5/12/2017 and were told that our room was on the 3rd floor but that there was an elevator next to our room. That was false information. We have a son with seizures and autism so going up three flights of stairs with him could be very dangerous and my mother is disabled. Turns out that we were given a corner room that was not elevator accessible. Therefore we had to pack all our stuff and groceries and move to another room.
Then we settled down into a different room on the 1st floor the next day just to realize that the bed in the master bedroom was infested with ants, which could be a very very serious problem if those ants would've crawled into my sons ear. We had notified the front desk early in the morning and went to enjoy our day. We come back to more ants. Apparently, we "never" called so no one ever came to get rid of the ants. It is about 9pm and we called again. Immediately they sent a very rude engineer with a spray bottle. The engineer just walks through my mother in law and kids and heads to the room without saying one word. He didn't inform us of what he was about to spray or anything. He continues to spray this unknown product on the head board and bed. Same bed they expect us to put our 3 year old and 1 year old. At this point we were appalled at the professionalism of this engineer and requested a different room. So again we had to pack all of our stuff and groceries to move.
At this point we are in our 3rd room within 3days. In the 3rd room there was a water leak from the AC. Tired of moving, we requested for someone to just fix it. Which they did.
The next day we had asked house cleaning to skip our room for the day.
The following day (day 5), when we didn't have anymore clean sheets or covers, house keeping decided to just not come clean. We had to wash the towels ourselves.
The following day when we were cooking breakfast we noticed house keeping cleaning the room next door. My mother in law asked the house cleaner if she could clean our room and replenish the towels. The house cleaner then stated she was not going to clean our room. My mother in law asked again. With much attitude the house cleaner said she would be back in two hours.


Once we informed management of what really happened they still accused her of almost assaulting the cleaning lady.
The employees at this resort are unprofessional and do not take ownership of their mistakes!!
Needless to say this will be the LAST time we EVER stay at this resort!!

Place is okay but door didn t work to get into our room, took 3+ hours upon entry. Cable went out and resort didn t do anything, it was off for over 36+ hours and still wasn t working when we left.

There was a lot of random stuff on the sheets and pillows (e.g. dried blood, lipstick) and as well all the bathroom fixtures were not secured properly. I was afraid I almost would pull off the tub filler.

The rooms are very nice and clean. Apparently they will offer a free breakfast voucher in exchange for not utilizing housekeeping services but I was not offered this. The rooms have full refrigerators and kitchens but the tradeoff is a very limited selection of restaurants that will deliver.

Okay. But the reason we chose this property was the web site said they had kids night out. I called a week before for information about this service and was told to make a reservation once we were here. We got here and they said no kids night out this week due to Easter related events. This is basically a bait and switch and totally sucks! Easter is a known calendar scheduled event, and their website could provide information about the changes to kids night out. Orlando Florida has many excellent properties. I would look elsewhere.

Great location, excellent attention to maintenance and service, sheets were a little disarray but nothing worth discrediting for. Pools were comfortable, 5 year old loved the water slide!

We only stayed at the Sheraton for one evening but it was very delightful. The room was stunning and the on-site restaurants and bars were a big plus! The Sheraton resort was definitely the cherry on top to our mini Disney Staycation.

Beautiful Resort with multiple pools and restaurants.

I was invited on a timeshare tour that was supposed to be 75 minutes and turned into 3 hours and they were so pushy.... we complained about it multiple times to the concierge and front desk. They tried to get a manager to contact us in regards to the bad experience but that still has yet to happen more than 3 days later.....

This place has everything you need and is perfectly centrally located to Sea world, Disney, and Universal! Love it and I will definitely be back here.

Great place to vacation with family. Near the main places to visit and access to the most important destinations (parks, malls, restaurants, etc.). The complex has everything (pool, tennis, golf, activities, market, etc.). And the staff is super friendly. Warning: if you are not interested in buying a Timeshare, do not fall for the complimentary breakfast trap!

Awesome place great service and all employees always helpful. 2 bedroom apartments were well maintained and well equipped. Recommend staying 120%

Required an ADA unit. It was well equipped. Facilities are very good for families. Great pools and play areas.

Stayed here end of November as part of a Costco vacation package. Great stay in a two bedroom villa. We opted not to hear the time share talk and they never bothered us about it again after the first attempt at check-in. Housekeeping kept the room clean, daily. The kids loved the pool when we werent out and about. My daughter forgot some items in the closet when we left and we called 3 days later when she realized it. They located the items within 24 hrs and after filling out an online form, we had the items in just a few days (we live in PA). Great customer service and honest staff! Would stay here again.

The same nice and comfortable family resort of always. Only 4 stars, because I noticed some cosmetic damage to elevators and outdated appliances in the rooms

Everything as we expected...having a great vacation.

Two bedroom unit was nice enough for 4 adults and 2 small kids. The carpet was filthy, though--the kids' feet were grey after walking around barefoot indoors. But other surfaces seemed clean. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were in good condition too. Comforters were flat and overwashed, but warm enough for a cool February night. The kitchen was a good size, marble countertops, several pots and pans (frying pan was a bummer, but sauce pans are fine), *terrible* knives, deep double sink, dishwasher was ok. Impressed with the pools, and we enjoyed the late night hours. Pools are heated and the pool deck was very tidy. Of course, in February there were not many people out. We did a surrey ride and the mini golf. There was an early bird special on the mini golf for $15 for 4 people. The price was right. Otherwise we wouldn't have done it for the normal $10 per person. Overall a very good experience.

Horrible accountability. Customer service lacks here especially when you book 9 months in advance.

After our room was changed at the initial checkin due to smell.. everything after ran smooth! Property took great precautions when it came to safety and sanitary. Rooms where beautiful, housekeeping provided everything we needed for the week stay and dropped off contactless whenever we called. We had a 2 bedroom villa with hot tub, nice balcony with great pond view and fountain . Shops where very close to walking and the pool was awesome! Cascades was the best. Husband and boys loved the gym and basketball court and baby girl love the playground. Mommy relaxed by the pool. Great staycation. We will definitely return!

The villas are quaint but have enough space to also host guests during your stay.

Hot tub in room didn't work. Market was double price. Other than that it's a wonderful place to stay.
