Sheraton Vistana Resort Reviews

I came here on business and not as advertised. First the wait to check in is mind numbing. Had to wait 20 min just to check in only to be assigned the wrong room. Had to wait another 20 min to get another room which once again was incorrect. I did not want to wait again so here I am in the wrong room. I came back from work tonight to find no housekeeping. I called to check to see why and they said I did not pay for housecleaning. They would not give me house cleaning unless I came down to them to show on my reservation I had housecleaning. I went down there to show my reservation where it does not show where it excludes it. After again waiting in line I was told no problem we can do that without even showing anything. This place has some big issues and needs to be corrected. Now i am here for another 7 days and wondering what else will this place screw up.

Convenient access to theme parks, two-bedroom "villas" accommodated our family comfortably with a nicely appointed kitchen, spacious bedrooms, living room, and patio. Clean, well-kept and up-to-date furnishings. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Went last summer and had a blast. The rooms were nice and very clean, I enjoyed the pools and all the other amenities. The staff was friendly and if you needed anything they were very prompt. The location is also perfect as its close to many attractions and restaurants.

Very nice and clean Very cordial attention the only thing that I did not like was that as soon as you check in they are offering you a timeshare. The impeccable apartment!

Our go to location when visiting Disney World and staying off site.

This place has everything for toddlers and adults. Shallow and deep water pools, hot tubs, a few restaurants, and a store. You could stay at your resort and have a wonderful time. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfortable!

Everything about this place is fabulous! I do have one tiny complaint. Some of the check- in staff need to re-trained or removed from their position.

Great hotel with plenty of things to do if I had 1 recommendation it would be to change air filters for a/c units especially room 1722 it was awful during my stay but other then that everything was great

We've been staying here since 2006 and have loved it every single time. Their room rates have been reduced and the rooms have been upgraded. It is an amazing place. Our villa had stainless steel appliances, and beautiful ceramic tiles. The fully functional washer and dryer in the villa was perfect for packing and bringing home CLEAN clothes and was especially useful for our swimsuits. The bathrooms were breathtaking with clear shower doors and a huge jacuzzi tub in the master suite. The balcony was screened to ensure a completely bug free time while sitting outdoors. The rooms are clean, the grounds are meticulously kept and its a gated community so the only traffic that comes through is that of the residents. Activities are endless for kids of all ages from an arcade to bikes to any one of their SEVEN pools. The pool areas are clean and the pool chairs are plentiful.

We checked in on a Thurs evening and didn't have any problems at all with a crowd. We got one phone call from the marketing team asking us if we wanted to come a timeshare presentation to get a reduction in our room rate and some free/reduced Disney park tickets. We politely declined and never heard from them again- which was wonderful.

There is an onsite photographer that we take advantage of who was great. We literally walked in and asked if she had time to take our family photo and 20 minutes later, our photo was taken, we had chosen the ones we loved and we were on our way to Hollywood Studios. Easy peasy.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Don't hesitate to book here. It's a wonderful place to call "home" during your stay in very busy Orlando.

This is a time share hotel, they start harassing you at the check in if you want to visit the presentation.

Nice spacious room with modern conveniences. Having a condo makes the world of a difference when traveling

Very nice and spacious suites. Many amenities available, including numerous pools, dining options, room service and a market. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you have a larger family.

Very nice, only compliant was the pools were open till 1am. But, the food service and tiki bar closed at 10pm. After a long day at the parks it would have been nice to sit by the pool and order a pizza and have a few drinks.

I enjoy the Sheraton Vistana as it has a large amount of pools, places to eat/drink, and plenty to do for the whole family.

I had an amazing time since I got to the lobby. The employees were nothing but helpful and polite. I read the other reviews some fron '15 and '16 and I experienced nothing of the sort. I got a premium Villa (Cascade bldg) It was very clean and smelled great...the kitchen was fully stocked and the highlight was the HotTub! I will definitely recommend this resort and will come back for sure.

The grounds of this place are massive! I was a bit overwhelmed when I arrived, but it really is a classy place. The villas are spacious and beautiful, with that special touch of elegance and spacious kitchen and living areas. Great pool areas and restaurants too.

LOVE...LOVE...LOVE staying here!! Our second time and is our favorite resort. Rooms are fabulous, the pools are amazing. They have Starbucks on premises, good food and lots to do for the kids.

Everything was great. The bell service is overworked. They need more bell people to pick up around the resorts. Or you can rent a car so you are not dependent.

We spent about 5 days here and we loved it. They offer so much to do. The pools were great, the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food at the pools was surprisingly affordable and pretty good. Drinks were out of this world.

Only downside was you have to be 30 to buy in. Luckily we had family already in.

Grounds are huge, well kept and clean. Lots of water features. 7 pools and most with cool bars. Staff friendly and food and drinks everywhere have been good. 2 bedroom villa was very nice. Great resort feel and tons of amenities. Ignore any of the negative picky reviews. 98% of people will love the experience here...the other 2% should take there whiny butts somewhere else...

Lovely place. Very safe and secure. Clean place to be in. The pool was clean and fun. Wish we could had stay there long then we did but perhaps next time.

The guard at the gate was fairly helpful but the address for the property does not take you to the check in building entrance. It was a large well kept properly, very nice.

An excellent place considering the price quality ratio. Well located to visit different parks and go shopping to some stores.

Lack a few of the essentials in the kitchen like a spatula and cookie sheet. Could have used them. We cook even on vacation, so we have money for other amusements

We we there for two nights only and were very busy. But it was so nice that we wished we could stay longer. Plenty of room for 8. Very clean and accommodating. Two large bathrooms, very important since I was the only male!

Everything was great about our experience, until the morning of our departure. We woke up to sewage everywhere. The drains in our unit had been backing up, and sewage was spewing out of the bathrooms and out into the living spaces. It smelled awful. We immediately called management, and within an hour a man arrived to fix the problem. It was apparently a clog outside the unit. The problem was that the inside of our unit was not clean. The man stated that he called housekeeping, and that someone would be by very soon to clean. He also said that he would give us a later checkout. After an hour, nobody had arrived. We called, and was told again that somebody would be by shortly. After another hour, still nobody had arrived. We called again, and was again told someone would be by shortly. We left for the pools, and when we came back an hour or so later, our key didn't work (the late check out was not in the system). After waiting for security to come and let us into the room, we discovered that one of the 2 bathrooms had been mopped, but definitely not cleaned. There was still a brown ring from the sewage in the bathtub. The second bathroom in the master bedroom had not been mopped or cleaned. The carpet was also still wet with sewage. Being that we were just leaving, we really wanted to just get cleaned up/showered before we left, but that wasn't possible. I understand that this is a big complex with lots of units to clean, but I would think that a sewage backup would take some sort of precedence.

Good location but very disappointed by the multitude of things that did not work in our condo. Unsanitary and unclean objects such as a glass in the bathroom that looked nasty, TV Remotes literally without batteries, Lights that simply didn't work are some examples of issues. The staff was kind of rude as well. Not sure if I want to stay here again based on that experience, although the location of the property is a Pro.

Great rooms, place is a little confusing to navigate. A ton of restaurants and pools.

My family of 4 has stayed several times over the past 2 years. We love the large 2 bedrooms condos with full kitchens. Can't beat the space and quality for the price!

This is a great place to stay and its reasonably priced! I recommend staying in the fountains, bc they have the best pool on the property.

The room was nice and somewhat spacious with a full kitchen.
The Shower was horrible -- a water sprinkler has better pressure than the shower did.
The resort is huge but if your going to the parks you won't be able to go around the resort.
Id give this place a solid 3-4

Very nice out-of-city location, having a country home feel. Rooms are amazing as well as villa services.

Very nice resort. It had a couple of different pools you could use. There were different activities that would happen at the main pool for kids. There is a bar and eatery place there. You can play basketball for free mini golf for s fee. It's also a short drive to Disney Springs.

The villa was great. We had a one bedroom that had a jacuzzi tub in it. A spacious living room, a dining table and a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove and oven, cooking utensils, and a washer and dryer. There was plenty of room for my wife and I and our 2 young boys. We had a great time.

Great place to stay for families. Big, clean, up to date rooms. Big property and 5 mins to Disney. Uber car ride $5.00 from the property. We walked to other restaurants if we did not want to eat on the property

We loved this place! We got a 2 bedroom villa and it was perfect! Close enough to the DisneyWorld parks and had a great time! Pool was awesome! Good restaurant options. Definitely would stay here next time we are in Florida!

The rooms are amazing lovely beds and bathrooms, the hotels only a couple minutes away from sea world, and the staff are friendly.

Checkin was a breeze. The room was gorgeous. The bed was quite comfy. I didn't care for the pillows. They were a little too soft for me. The pool bars had great service and drinks. The spa pool was great for us as adults. Very nice sauna, steam room and changing area.
The market was great but the only drawback is they open up too late in the am. We had to go somewhere else for coffee and breakfast so plan ahead.
We loved it here for our one night stay and would definitely come back.

Awesome place to stay. Very convenient, lots out activities, multiple pools, 2 restaurants, bar, and it's own market with Starbucks. Villas are convenient and spacious, with a full kitchen!! Location is perfect, right next to all the Orlando action!

We ve been here for barely 3 days and the WiFi has been out of service for half of that time. Front desk doesn t have an ETA and was no help. It s 2021 folks, I can t even book my dinner reservations without the internet.

As always it remains a marvelous complex, every couple of years they renew it and leave it better as well as the maintenance of the property so great it is impeccable. Quiet, relaxed and luxurious complex. Highly recommended

Nice price and location. The walls in the unit were thin, so between neighbors, mechanical noises and landscaping crews, it wasn't terribly quiet, but if you aren't light sleepers it should provide a good value.
