Property itself is nice but their affiliation with pushy lying timeshare weasels completely ruined my memories of the trip. They bait you with a seemingly innocent way to come back and "explore" the property with an explorer package but what they don't tell you is its twice the price as just paying to stay there and then justify it by saying they'll apply it to the cost of a timeshare unit. It's a high pressure scam and it's too bad this property uses this tactic.

Some of the rooms have a slight moldy smell. The ATT cell service in the outer ring villas is pretty much nonexistent. The Internet service is spotty even if you pay for the higher speed. However, it is a fun place to be-lots of friendly guests. The guest services people seem to care and make things right.
The land was nice. But that's about all that I can say about it. The walls are super thin. So I heard the elevator going up and down all night. David I heard the college kids on college break. The pools look nice. But you can never find a seat. The rules about not saving seats was never enforced. The food was expensive and not of good quality. Everybody I came across your work there was very unprofessional and look like they didn't like to being there.
Lovely Resort, close to Disney World. 2 bedroom unit was very spacious and comfortable. Resort has good facilities for families. Check in and out was effecient. Only downside, dishwasher doesn't clean properly, limited kitchen items, like no oven gloves, placemats for tables and kettle took 30 min to boil on stove-electric kettles far more effective.
I checked into the Sheraton Vistana resorts on July 21st for a seven-night stay. I visited the multiple pools within the resort complex and found the Villas to be more than acceptable the service from the staff was fantastic and all the cilities were well maintained
We've been owners for 4 years and usually get the 2 bedroom suit for the 2 of us plus 2 kids. we call it our second home with a full kitchen, 3 tv's, Big spacious living area and a nice balcony closed off with bug screen. Beds are comfortable and we have our own A/c that we control. Always clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Can't ask for more....
My friends and I decided to take a much needed vacation after going through one intense year of school! I am the only one from Florida among my friends and my family and I always come to Orlando every year for vacation for the past 15 years and we always have a good time. So after checking in and settling down in the unit, we decided we wanted to stay indoors and relax by watching TV and a movie. There was no cable or movies available for that day because the cable was down. I was very annoyed and I let it go and thought it would be back on the next day. The cable remained down for the next two days!! I called the office to see what was going on and they explained there was nothing they could do. Their empty apologies that led to no form of compensation or alternative solutions demonstrated to me their apathy. At this point, I am again embarrassed that this is the impression that Sheraton is leaving on my three friends who have never stayed in a resort. Finally the cable comes back on, so my friends and I gather around the tv in the living room. As we are moving to the couch one of my friends exclaims out in pain that something had pierced her foot. We look around on the floor and found that she had stepped on a construction staple!!! A construction staple!! What was that even doing on the floor?! Didn t housekeeping vacuum and clean these units before guests move in?! Luckily my friend was not bleeding and she reassured me that she was fine. By this point I am infuriated because to have such a dangerous item laying on the ground is unacceptable. What if we had toddlers or small children?! That is so dangerous! I called the front desk and reported the incident to them. They sent up the head of housekeeping and I explained to her what happened. She began to ask me irrelevant questions and get defensive on her part. She offered to vacuum but I denied the service bc I explained to her there was no point of doing it anymore. If the room was vacuumed in the first place or throughly, that staple would not have been on the floor. If they missed it the first time, what s to say they wouldn t miss it again? My friends and I just decided to make sure to wear shoes at all times. A courtesy officer also came to talk with us and could only give us empty apologies and no sort of compensation for our troubles. They offered medical assistance but again my friend declined because she did not want to be bothered and she was fine. They also offered to move us to another unit, but at this point, I didn t care and did not want to go through the hassle They also offered to move us to another unit, but at this point, I didn t care and did not want to go through the hassle of relocating and moving all our stuff. We filled an incident report and tried to enjoy the rest of our day that was already wasted with visits from the the staff in which they could once again give us their empty apologies. The officer did take the staples but I made sure to take a picture of it before they removed it. As I went to bed that night I looked up at my ceiling I saw brown stains splattered all in the corner and at that point I was disgusted and appalled at where I was staying. I was over this unit and this resort and I couldn t wait to leave. There were stains on the couch and floor in the living room and I couldn t even sit there comfortably. But what really topped the list of this nightmare vacation was the a/c unit that I specifically requested be cleaned due to my asthma was not clean whatsoever. One could smell the mildew in the air upon turning on the aircondtion. It was so bad that out of the four guests that stayed in this horrible unit, 3 of us got sick from the dust and mildew recirculating in the air vents. My nose became blocked and my throat was scratchy, my other friend got an ear infection, and my other friend got a nasty cough. It was the worst Vacation I have ever had!!
Best resort EVER!!! So much to do, great food and drinks...numerous pools, basketball courts, tennis courts, beach, sand volleyball. Condoes are wonderful, decor is great, feels like home!!! So many great things about Vista, too much to write
As usual, our party of three had a wonderful stay at SVR in Florida. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. The grounds were impeccably kept. My two suggestions: 1. Update the room. I'm guessing the carpet was old because it showed wear and wasn't as clean as I've experienced there in the past. 2. They failed to remind me at check-in of the owner's lounge. My senior mind had forgotten about it until the day I was checking out. It is such a nice feature, I regret not taking advantage of it.
Nice rooms, service was great. The kitchen utensils and dishes were very minimal. The shuttle service to the parks weren't worth it as it was cheaper to park your car at the parks than to ride the shuttle at $10 a person per day.
We stayed at the fouation side, and the pool spas and restraint where great. We would love to stay again! Also great location you are close to many attractions.
Very nice place. Unit was clean and comfortable. Several pools and amenities. We enjoyed the escape room. Only downside is that it is very large so we had to drive to every activity, can't easily walk to anything.
Worse Sheraton I ever stayed. They charge $19 resort fee, which includes shuttle service to Disney World. Worse shuttle service ever, old bus, came from other hotel and it was full each time we took.We had to stand inside, all the way to Disney World. I thought in US,passengers are not allowed to stand except CITY BUS.
This is the BEST resort we've ever stayed at. The units are so large, it feels like a house / villa.
Very spacious. King size bed in exceptionally large main bedroom. 2x double beds in 2nd room. Bathrooms are large. Main bathroom has a jet bath.
Kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, stove, full size fridge microwave and everything you need. Cupboard contains a washing machine and tumbledryer.
Grounds are manicured and exceptionally outstretched. We used our GPS to find our unit inside the resort every time we drove off.
So many pools, tennis courts, sauna, games room, shop with internet area, putt-putt, restaurants, spa area, and so much more. Every pool area is different with some containing a small super tube, spray park, waterfall in the pool, amongst others.
Free wi-fi in the resort. Porch area of every unit is closed off with mesh to keep bugs out. All units situated around water in clusters. What a beautiful resort.
You never need to leave the resort during your stay!
On the flipside: They offer a large SeaWorld discount incl lunch and discount on other Disney parks if you attend a talk. DO NOT ATTEND if you are not seriously interested in buying. The deals are excellent and keeps getting better if you decline, but it's promoted as a 90min talk and end up being a 2hour torture session. And if you decline they bump you to the supervisor who bumps you to the manager before you are grudgingly released to go on your not-so-merry way. The discount is not worth the torture. Your friendly salesman does not even want to greet you if you decline. They make you an offer, but do not really give you an option, they expect you to accept. Stay away and rather pay full price for parks.
However, the hotel has a very efficient desk where you can pre-purchase Disney passes. (Download the Disney app to make fast track bookings in the park.)
This place is really an amazing vacation experience. We have visited before here but this year wow they took it to another level. Grounds clean, people very very friendly. Great place to vacation. I ll be here again for sure. A blessed & please guest. Love the Sheraton Vistana Resort In Orlando FL The Lopez Family State Island NY
This is an excellent resort with great amenities. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They get four stars because the room service food is way below average.
It was amazing to staff were friendly but there was a wait to check in. Also the rooms are incredible I would recommend coming back. lastly they have a nice porch to your room too love it
Great facility with a number of pools which are open until 1am which is definitely a plus. Location is close to Disney Springs so no shortage of restaurants. Came here with the kids and they had a blast at the main pool which conveniently has a kids area and playground. Grills are located all around the grounds so it makes cooking easy if you're looking to have a meal back at your suite.
Great facility. Our 1st visit but now our go-to accommodations for Disney extended visits. Many activities, pools, beach, sports, restsurants & mystery room on property. Staff excellent and security staff even better. 12min drive to Disneyworld parking. Great accomodations with full kitchen made this visit a fraction of a normal Disney 3 dsy stay. Many thanks & keep a light on, twins birthday in 2 weeks.
Check in process for me was quick and easy. Saw the receptionist, received room keys and they walk you to concierge desk. This was an unnecessary step for me but I don't think there is an option to skip it. Offered $125 gift card to listen to a 90 minute presentation the following day. I passed on that. I believe this resort is a timeshare, and the presentation was likely a ploy to sell them. I was not interested but they asked several times, insisted it was free Visa gift card just for my time. If that's all it was great, I saved them $125 and didn't waste 90 minutes of my time. Room was excellent, I stayed in a 2 bed/2 bath in the Palms area, more than I needed for me and my wife but worth it. Room was clean, tidy, the cabinets had everything you need to cook/serve a meal if you are staying for several days, small bars of soap and sample size of lotion and shampoo/conditioner, no dish soap only dish washer detergent, small washer/dryer in closet. If you plan on washing dishes or laundry bring your own cleaner. Beds were alright nothing fancy or extremely comfortable. The master bedroom in this villa is different than the picture, the bathroom is separate from the bedroom area, and had a therapy tub (jets shoot up from bottom only) not a whirlpool tub (never ran out of hot water and the tub is large). Showers are nice and separate from the tub. Ceiling fan in both bedrooms, living area, and on patio. TV in both bedrooms and living room. Bose 2.1 system in living room attached to TV. I used it for radio only, never watched the TV. Staff friendly, saw security patrolling frequently, gated and you have to have a room key to get in or check in with security guard at entrance. Grounds are well maintained and there appeared to be plenty to do just at the resort, I only went to one of the pools, there are several. No complaints about my experience, I would stay here again.
