Very overpriced. Have been to better hotels in better places for less money. $32 self parking for each night, $22 amenity fees for each night (for just two people), a luke-warm hot tub, a non-heated pool, and a dated building. Look elsewhere unless your find for paying for mediocrity

The view from the rooms is gorgeous, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend this hotel for any traveler. The club lounge on the top floor, which is only accessible by guests, offers: tea, coffee, and snacks all day. Appetizers are available later in the afternoon, but the view overlooking the marina is what keeps me coming back.

The Sheraton San Diego was very close to the airport, very clean and elegant in the lobby and restaurant area. The pool area was clean and very large. we had a room o the 5th floor so you could see the area around the hotel.

Probably the worst Sheraton I've stayed at. Beds are hard, noisy, and old. Doors are loud, and impossible to open without waking up the entire floor. And PARKING!!! $30 a night hidden fee! And $20 night hidden Resort fee! Stay elsewhere!
Ok, this is the second night. Our door is falling apart, if anyone from Sheraton reads this, room 549's door is falling apart.

This update doesn't change how I felt about that first week's stay. I stayed a total of 2 weeks, but the second week i was in the main (Marina) tower. I still like this hotel a great deal, and the staff is really great, but if you get a choice stay in the bay tower. The main marina tower has great communal spaces and restaurants, but the parking is horrible, the rooms are tiny (hard to move around tiny in the double queen rooms - I don't know how two people could be that close, but it's okay got one), and the responses to room requests were not so timely. The rooms seemed a little older as well with issues in the bathroom plumbing and squeakier, lumpier beds. BUT you get friendly service, good food, convenience of location. Overall I really did enjoy my stay there.

We couldn't check in. This was actually a staycation for us and we really planned it out so the computers down ruined our ability to start the weekend off right. Then we had to scratch and claw for things already due.

The hotel is overall clean and run well. The beds are comfortable. Some aspects were not so great for me this time - a light bulb was out in my room, the TV remote didn't work, and the parking was far too expensive, even during the day. The conference amenities were well done.

A very clean hotel, will a nice layout, located within walking distance to the airport. Unfortunately, for some, the noise of the planes was too much. The hotel offers a small selection of restaurants, though they were reasonably priced. Conference rooms were large and properly equipped to handle the event I was at.

Just surprised when bill arrived that 2 days later was invoiced for $21.41 despite my check out 2 days earlier for another amount. Not a nice way to do business if to correct their mistake. No explanation given yet.
Customers beware of hidden cost and not disclosed cost at time of check out!!!!!

It is overpriced parking I love the location but it has its challenges for what you get in the space & in the rooms ....and in the restaurant.. even the Sundries shop was extremely overpriced I'm just I wanted to give it five stars but it just is a little overpriced in general for what you get overall

Decent place to stay. And a great view (if you have the right room). The rooms were nice as well. However, the beds to me were slightly hard - couldn't really tell why every other review said they have amazing beds.

For a Supposed 5 star hotel that charges 200 dollars a night, this would be a place I would run from and not look back. I stayed here for a business conference and found no real value in this property. There were many problems and Sheraton needs to look at this hotel closely.
We arrived and the first thing I notice for a premium hotel was the dirty and un-vacuumed carpets in the hall ways that did not get vacuumed the entire four days I was there. The hallways were dinged up, needed paint and the baseboards had layers of dust. The room was dirty and the furniture and pictures had not been dusted in months if not years. There was a 1/2 inch on dust on the pictures, baseboards and wardrobe. The bathroom was worse that a gas station bathroom. We arrive about 1:30 in the afternoon and called housekeeping. When I returned to the room at 5 I had to call again before they sent someone up. The person they sent did a quick clean in bathroom and a quick vacuum. They failed to address any of my other concerns my entire stay. On our day of our arrival we went to Quinn's for lunch. I had the bacon cheese burger and fries (at $16.00). High prices for subpar food. The burger did not come with bacon or cheese. The server was rude and did not want to correct the problem. When I insisted, the burger was returned to me 10 minutes later. They put cheese and bacon on the burger and then microwaved the whole plate, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles were all hot and wilted. The server was put out when I asked for ketchup and mustard. I asked for the manager. The bar person came up and told me he was the manager. When I told him of my dissatisfaction, he told me he was sorry but that is how the food came, he could not do anything about it and I still would be charged for it. I went to the front desk, the clerk expressed her apologies and told me that she would have hotel management contact me. I am still waiting. I ate breakfast in the Harbor View restraint twice and regretted it twice. The service was ok. The food was over priced ($17.00 for an omelet and $4.00 for a cup of coffee) and poor quality. Rubber eggs, cold potatoes burnt tasting, cold coffee and cold toast was the normal. We also go to experience a false fire alarm at 11:30 pm. We where ask to leave the room. No explanations of apologies for the false alarm. The coffee service was incomplete in the hotel room and that situation was never corrected the entire trip despite several calls to housekeeping. This hotel has a long way to go to live up to being a premium hotel. I have stayed in Fairfield Inns and Holiday Inn Express provided 5 stars in service, food and cleanliness at 90 dollars a night. If an other conference is ever scheduled here, I will find another place to stay and just drive over for the conference only. I am still waiting for management to contact me as I was told. (don't think it will happen.)

Called the day before and was told the check in was at 3PM. Got there and was told to come back at 4PM. It s 4:32PM now and still sitting in the lobby. So far it s been the great vacation experience. When I booked this room I thought to myself, The ideal vacation is to sit in the hotel lobby for as long as we can while we wait for a room that should have been ready hours ago, that s what truly joyful and happy people do while on their holiday weekend. But hey, I just bought a soda water for $4 while I wait and got charged $41 by the Sheraton to self park a quater mile away and walk here. Positive vibes all the time.

Where's the 4 star hotel. I keep trying to find it. The worst experience ever. Not only did they screw up the booking, there was no actual fixing when an attempt to fix it was made. Went to a conference and was not given conference rates.
My room key needs to be reprogrammed every day because of this booking mistake. Attempted to book a king sized room and was left with only double beds(and they weren't even that comfortable)
Other people's comments on the rooms feeling dated were true.
The outside is beautiful. The rear fireplaces are nice(in one pit the fire is all over the place)
I wouldn't stay here again.

Incredible views and extremely close to the airport! The location is pretty central to a lot of the popular areas and easy to Uber/lift anywhere you want to go.

My husband and I flew in for a conference and to celebrate our anniversary. We booked our stay six months in advance and were there early for check in. While checking in they informed us that they over booked and did not have the room we selected available and could not guarantee it for our stay. They offered us side by side full beds .... for our anniversary trip... when we booked and paid for a king. They were unwilling to budge at the front desk and would have let us walk away from our reservation. We debated leaving and the clerks attitude seemed like she d prefer we leave.

We had to get management involved and turns out they had MANY appropriate rooms available for those who have a higher status in the hotel rewards system. I can honestly say our stay was lovely after we got through the check in mess. But I really hope they make some changes and create a warmer welcome for their customers!

Very welcoming parking and lobby. Room was nice, but we could hear the airplanes at the airport. The view from our room was spectacular and very photo worthy. Would definitely stay here again.

All across the board it was top notch. The only thing I would say was that room 745 where I stayed, the AC wasn't cold enough, like the unit needed a new charge maybe. It was comfortable after a while as the room over all cooled down, but I do sleep better in a room a little cooler. Everything else was perfect so I'm giving 5 stars. I have to believe it was a single room issue.

The hotel is beautiful. I was in a studio suite, which was spacious. The room also has a little balcony that overlooks the water and downtown. They have many amenities: pools, restaurants, spa, fitness center, game room, and water activity rentals, an airport shuttle and more. I would recommend it, and would stay again!!

The rooms are ok. Our reservation that we made last year for this year's comiccon got screwed up and we got moved to Bay Tower. Once back at Marina the air conditioning only goes down to 65 and the beds could be bigger.

We had a great experience here! Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the marina. Shuttle to and from the airport. We used Lyft while here and most activities and restaurants are within 5 miles. Clean rooms, comfy bed and friendly staff. Great bartenders at Quinn s Ale House. I would definitely recommend!

It's a lovely hotel. We came for dinner at the Harbor Edge restaurant. The food was excellent but there were not enough servers for the event. We left without dessert; it took 2 hours for dinner.

The hotel staff is nice and helpful. However when I got to my room it was located by a ice machine the room looked clean and did not smell. Later I went to use the bathroom opened the lid and there was track stains in the toilet.

A nice facility. For better or worse located very close to the San Diego Airport. A nice roomy lobby with free WiFi. A sports bar at the rear, excellent views of the marina and an attached convention center. A roomy pool with extra seating. My room was quite disappointing however. A prime view of the parking lot from the below ground level. Got to hear traffic and airplanes on and of throughout the night. If near where you need to be, it's still a nice place.

Old and tired hotel in need of major face lift. Service is hit or miss here, front desk could definitely use some basic customer service skills. I wouldn't stay here if I didn't have to because of a conference.
