We chose the Sheraton simply because the Freedom Boat Club boats are in the adjacent marina. I am not normally a huge Marriot / Sheraton fan, as I sometimes feel like they take advantage of non-business travelers. You can judge for yourself. I also am aware that Covid wrecked lots of services, and this property did a great job of infectious disease control. We stayed on the 11th floor. We asked for a balcony overlooking Point Loma, as that was where we were going to be boating all weekend. The room was nice. Very nautical and clean. The balcony was our favorite part of the hotel. Overlooking the bay, marine, Navy Operations on Coronado and the Freedom Boat Club. I paid $525.88 for 3 nights for Guest room, 2 Double, Partial water view, Marina Tower, High floor, Balcony on the BonVoy app. Similar hotels in the area would be about $100/night. When we arrives, we were charged and additional $25/day for paddle boarding lessons and yoga? I know it was not the young lady working the guest services desk choice to charge me, but that did not feel right at all. Both my friend and I are not sure if we would ever stay at that property again. It appeared to us that no one made any type of attempt to open up outside dining, which is legal at this time in San Diego. The buy 2, get the 3rd night free promotion also didn't work.

Nice view, well maintained building, clean rooms, and friendly staff. My main issue is the parking lot is super small and cramped, and they send you to an overflow lot that's basically on a dirt lot, then they charge you $40 for that privilege.

Was here for a week on business. Long enough to say for sure the service at the bar SUCKS.

Also don't bother asking the concierge for recommendations on restaurants. They'll just pull out a piece of paper with about a dozen nearby places they partner with, or read Google results off to you. Ask your Uber driver instead.

Nice facility, friendly staff, fairly well maintained rooms, great bay views. Unfortunately next to the San Diego airport. On the positive side the airport only has scheduled flights between 6:30a and 11:30a.

Most horrible hospitality experience EVER the ENTIRE place is outdated. Holiday Inn is more renovated than this joint looks like Every staff member is underpaid so who earns the top dollar 349 per room that Holiday inn outperforms for 49.99? The CEO should be fired. I wouldn't stay there for FREE

I don't have many comments, I didn't stay at the Sheraton. The rooms were good, the Nautilus 1 was a tad cold this morning but overall, the hotel was nice and clean and had a good view. The service was great.

The staff has been very attentive and accommodating to not only the conference attendees but the accompanying families as well. Rooms have a beautiful view and the food is very tasty and has large portions. The pool area is beautiful and warm enough to use on a rainy February day.

First time in San Diego, and very disappointed in this hotel. I booked through Southwest Airlines. The reviews on their site were pretty good. I did know about the $24 a day parking, so we decided not to rent a car. But, no free Wi-Fi? Seriously?!?! That is unheard of in this day and age! $11-$15 a DAY!! I had to use my own data and my phone didn't seem to work well inside the hotel. Also, the transportation issue is ridiculous. I wanted to download the Uber app, but I am not able to because if the Wi-Fi issue. We took a cab down to the Gaslamp District and it was nearly $20. Nobody knows where the bus stop is around here. Our room is nothing to write home about. Our view of the parking lot is irritating for how much we paid. The room is small and leaves a lot to be desired. Do not open the fridge unless you want to be charged for something...$7 bottle of water anyone? The restaurant here is ridiculous. $16 hamburger (not that great) and $9 mixed drink, but no other option. We are trying to figure out how to get to the zoo today without paying an arm and a leg. Not really how I wanted my first San Diego experience to be.

This hotel is conveniently across from the airport and on the water and not far from downtown San Diego. The room was clean and had a small balcony. This is a typical mid-priced hotel with fairly high food prices.

Very nice event facility, clean and well maintained by friendly and professional staff. Plenty of parking, within reasonable walking distance from event ballrooms. Beautiful location, next to the water. Will definitely consider returning, maybe even a staycation. Centrally located, with easy in and out access from nearby streets and freeways.

Nice hotel, the rooms are updated but the hallways and main entrances are not for the bay side tower. Parking is $35 a night and around 30 for resort fee. Easy to use the credit they give you for kayak rentals

The rooms are nice and the views are good, but ours cut off from any restaurants or shops by highways, and next to the airport. If you have a car, no problem, but if you're at a conference... Also, the room heaters don't work (just blow cold air constantly), and finding your way around the first floor (two different towers of rooms), where the meeting rooms are, is a maze.

I had a nice clean room with nice newish furnishings. The view is over the marina and great for the sun set.

The club room breakfast is the best I have had in a club room. Selection of good breads, cold meats, fruit, and hot scrambled eggs and sausage.

In the afternoon, the club room offers something different to most club rooms. There is a lot of great food, mostly cold meats, cheese and salad. Enough variety for a light dinner. However, the drinks are not free, similar to hotel bar rates.
