Stayed her for one night with my girlfriend after a hike, and we couldn't have picked a better place to unwind and rest. The staff is extremely friendly, our room in the 10th floor (12 floors total) with the pool and marina view was incredible, and honestly there is very little to complain about. The only issue was a broken knob on our bathroom door, but they fixed it as soon as we called it in. Nonetheless, our night here was amazing!

Great service. They upgraded us to a VIP room with a huge balcony on the top floor for an extra $20 from our standard room. Our experience there was so amazing and it really made our weekend really special!

Room was very nice and clean and service was very helpful. Had to switch rooms at first because cigarette smoke was coming in from outside and we had very noisy neighbors. They neglected to tell us our new room would be even noisier due to some outdoor festival going on outside.. but it ended early at least. All in all its a very nice hotel

The location was perfect for our needs, but with a large hotel another dinner restaurant option would have been great. The rooms were nice, spacious, and clean. The staff was very nice and eager to be helpful.

Called the day before and was told the check in was at 3PM. Got there and was told to come back at 4PM. It s 4:32PM now and still sitting in the lobby. So far it s been the great vacation experience. When I booked this room I thought to myself, The ideal vacation is to sit in the hotel lobby for as long as we can while we wait for a room that should have been ready hours ago, that s what truly joyful and happy people do while on their holiday weekend. But hey, I just bought a soda water for $4 while I wait and got charged $41 by the Sheraton to self park a quater mile away and walk here. Positive vibes all the time.

Paid extra for the "Bay View" tower, still got a view of the marina. $150+ a night and still $11 a day for wifi anywhere on the grounds NOT in the lobby. In room LAN connection device is not functional (I'm an IT professional and this thing is cooked). What a joke. Room itself is decent, but save yourself the ripoff if you're looking for something other than an overpriced bed. I travel all over the country and this place is a JOKE

Be sure you know which of their two hotels you re staying in. They are 5 to 7 minutes walking distance apart from each other. With the rates sometimes exceeding $500 you can probably find a better deal somewhere nearby. Parking rates are also excessive. But you can park across the street from the hotel for only $11 per 24 hours. They generally don t tell you that and charge more than double those rates, even more if you opt for valet for a few hours. And the facilities, staff and amenities are drastically different between the two hotels. It seemed as though most staff I encountered we re oblivious to guests Unless directly interrupted. They tended to be more involved in conversations among themselves. Yes there are nice views but they are so close to the airport that you re hearing planes taking off and landing every five minutes.

I stayed in the Bay Tower; nice part of the hotel. Not as upscale as the Marina tower but actually has a much nicer view. Decent gym with free weights, 3 treadmills, multiple bikes, elliptical trainers, etc. Rooms are a good size.

The Sheraton Marina is an amazing get away Hotel. We have spent two vacations there and wouldn't doubt a third one. The views are lovely and their service is exelent. The only down side is that sometimes the rooms are not ready at check in time. But they will make it up to you by offering free buffet breakfast and so drinks.

Hella nice. Nice pool next to the ocean. Good restaurant. A cool bar with great burgers for the late night. Clean, great service, perfect bed, good water pressure, big tv in room, fast wifi. I stayed for 10 days and loved it.

A great hotel

A great hotel
Front desk knows what to do.
Good bar, open late. With good food
Rent a boat, bike or other stuff on the water side. So much better than Liberty Station Courtyard

We stayed for 3 days and it was a horrible experience from the moment we walked in the front door. All of the front desk people(front desk, concierge, vallet, bell hops) were extremely rude. When we got to our room it was very filthy. The housekeeping was horrible. When you ask for no room service they don't listen. When you complain about a broken toilet they don't send anyone up to your room. I had to fix it myself. And to top it all off they charged my checking account twice. I have to wait a week for funds to be put back in my account. The only reason I gave 1 star is because the restaurants are awesome.

Decent place to stay. And a great view (if you have the right room). The rooms were nice as well. However, the beds to me were slightly hard - couldn't really tell why every other review said they have amazing beds.

All the employees were super nice and friendly. Even though they were really busy they had time to answer any questions we had. My wife was really scared and they talked to her calmly and assured her she would be ok. She was really scared on returning the ski and how to stop. They talked to her in and they were so good to her. You guys rock !!!

The hotel staff is nice and helpful. However when I got to my room it was located by a ice machine the room looked clean and did not smell. Later I went to use the bathroom opened the lid and there was track stains in the toilet.

Sweet place and nice rooms and pool. Room was comfy, but small. View was great. Food very overpriced. There are a couple delis in walking distance where you can buy cheaper food and drink.

Very good hotel although a bit old, it has a perfect view of the marina, that is, if the city is about 2 miles away which makes it difficult to get to know but it is a hotel more to enjoy inside it and not just to sleep

Great location with views of the marina. Clean, quiet rooms. Excellent catering for private events. Good location for a conference. We were satisfied with the food and service in the restaurants too.

Lots of people checking in all the time. The location in the marina is pretty. Daily parking fees and resort fees alone are more than an entire stay at the most upscale motel 6 costs. The chicken burger at the air house restaurant was tasty. I went there for a convention. If you plan a convention, go to Vegas. There are cheaper and more fun hotels.

I have a wonderful view from my fifth floor room overlooking the marina, but the best part of this hotel has been the service. Renato was very warm and welcoming, and was very helpful helping me with a complicated set up. Thank you front office! I look forward to a wonderful stay!

I was quite disappointed in this property. I would strongly suggest someone from corporate conduct an inspection as this property. It is bringing down the brand. Check in took about 25 minutes. Only after I complained about the line did they bring one additional person out to the front. You need more than two people at check-in on a Friday night prior to a convention. Next, the room was old and dingy. The a.c. was not running so the linens felt moist from the humidity. The bathroom chrome was stained. The carpet was dirty and slightly sticky. I couldn't walk bare foot in my room. The shower was broken and two thirds of the water leaked out the tub faucet. I could smell sewer gas coming from the sink. The deadbolt on the door was broken. Overall I've stayed at nicer Motel 6s. I would avoid this property in the future.

Room had no fridge to use or microwave. Cost ended up higher than advertised and I don't know why. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly if not seemingly stressed out. Room was comfy with a good view and work space. Wifi was free for me but in and out. AC was included. View of ocean was great for selfies, and there was a Pokemon gym I could reach from my hotel. There were a lot of amenities but I personable didn't get to use any of them other than the lobby which was surprisingly empty and nice. I heard some live music there but didn't get to really hear enough to call it a feature. If I go back to San Diego, I would stay there again, maybe even an extra night. I will mention it was pricy and I don't usually stay at such expensive hotels.

I address this note to management, as we believe it is the management that needs to listen. My husband & I are Gold Elite Starwood customers. We also live in San Diego, Point Loma area. Thus for us to try out your services is close and easy. We've tried it out several times before your remodel of the Restaurant & Bar and several after. Our conclusion is that it must be local management rules that create lack of customer service. Saturday night we arrived at 5:15pm and we were told there would be no waiter to take our bar order if we did not sit at the Bar, despite there being a open area of candle- lite tables to invite Bar customers to sit & enjoy the view. We bused our own water, drinks and asked for a bar mix, which was smoked almonds that turned out to be "chewy". I brought this to the attention of one of the Bar servers, who tasted, agreed, & after investigating said, the kitchen had no alternative to offer. This all happened while 3 servers in the restaurant stood idol. Meanwhile a group of 13 people were trying to get Bar service. This definitely is not up to Starwood standards.

Stay three nights for a conference. Clean rooms, fast internet. Friendly and courteous stay. Great views of the marina at the Marriott club level. Minutes away from Gas Lamp District. Hotel is a stone throw away from the Airport.

The Sheraton was a lovely place to have a conference. I moderated a panel in one of the breakout rooms and enjoyed the flexibility of the facility to be able to host a large conference and provide multiple options for breakout rooms.

The service was excellent. However it is clear that the rooms need an update. There is no refrigerator, no microwave, less than a foot of counter space in the bathroom, no fan in the bathroom, and very little space in the room. Very expensive rooms, and the accommodations aren't worth the price.

This hotel is on Shelter Island and one of the most lovely marinas in the area. Rooms are nice, food is good. Staff is a little clueless and can be just short of rude. Couldn't believe they were so lost for answers about misc items and sent me chasing so many loose ends to find solutions. Love was super busy and noisy most of the time. Other than that it's a great place. Will definitely stay here again.

I came here with my little sister and a friend and her daughter for the weekend and i was lovely. I dont recommend the starbucks there at the hotel because they didnt have alot of the drinks Starbucks usually carries. Other than that great place to drink family and friends. #cozy #weekendgetaway

What a nice place in the area! I enjoyed the quietness, the cleanliness, and the lovely staff. I would be more than happy to stay here again in the near future. The parking area was also very organized and very easy to come and go. I will surely be recommending you to all! Thank you so much for your kindness, guys!

Limited dining and expensive parking. Not really near anything either. Stay by the gaslamp district or seaport village. Otherwise a place on the beach. A nice well maintained full service hotel that's just in the wrong spot.

Visited the Sheraton for the fitness expo linked to the AFC half marathon. The grounds were very clean, and parking was quick and easy (wasn't staying at the hotel). The location is very accessable, as it is very close to the airport. I didn't spend any time inside the hotel, but the tent setup was sufficient for the needs of the fitness expo, and wasn't too crowded.
