Room is great, views are great, bed is comfortable...
Room is great, views are great, bed is comfortable, but work paid for it so I can't say how good it is vs cost.

Was they for ANPD conference. For the most part was good, had technical difficulties in several classes, and they threw away several presenter posters!!!! Individual did not follow own policies. Presenter left without their poster to bring back for another presentation they needed it for. Bell hop new, didn't know they accepted mail at his desk, I was very concerned where my mail was that i dropped off for two days in a row at the same desk. Concierge addressed. Running out of lunch options except for veggie one day. It's the little things like this through out the conference that kept it from 5 stars. Sorry. Maybe next time. Presenters guard your posters.
A great modern space in the middle of downtown Phoenix. Many restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are modern, spacious, and clean. Excellent fitness center and a lovely swimming pool.
Nice hotel in the heart of downtown. Friendly staff and large clean rooms. Wish the plugs were closer to the bed to charge my phone
One of the best places to stay in downtown Phoenix. The gym is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Biron the concierge was so helpful and accommodating. Food was great there too.
Beautiful Hotel. Great staff, free wifi, valet, room service. Located right in the center of Downtown Phoenix.
Renovations were still taking place our room was nice but at 9am the construction noise was terrible.
What's not to like. The place is beautiful. Service was great. Prices were in line. Food was good. I'd go back again.
I like this location for conventions, there is suitable space for 10,000 visitors over a weekend. Easy access for taxi. Very central.
I wish the hotel would allow for hot coffee and tea to be served in panels.
Great hotel right in downtown! Always come here when I'm in Phoenix.
Good hotel with all the amenities. Hot water can be a bit slow.
Clean and comfortable, also it is located close to the Pheonix convention center.
This is a typical conference hotel right next to the Phoenix Convention Center, and they know very well that people will come and stay here, regardless of how much they charge or the quality of the service they provide.
The mattress was not very comfortable (very saggy) and the bed linen was damaged, with the ends tearing off (see pictures). The pillows are very thin and the 4 that are provided are all the same type, which does not allow guests to pick their favorite. Other than that, the room was OK and spacious, and was equipped with a desk, a comfortable chair, an iron and some other amenities. The bathroom was fine as well.
If you want your bed made, bathroom cleaned and towels replaced every day, make this very clear to the check in personnel! They try to get away not doing this, to "protect the environment", although the real reason is of course because they're eager to save cost and make bigger profits.
Other than that, the hotel is located in a good location with plenty of bars and restaurants around, as well as public transportation. Views are good from the hotel top floors.
All in all, an OK hotel but not worth the high rates during conferences.
Clean rooms, great staff and quiet neighbors. Everything I look for in a 5 star hotel.
The location was nice. The rooms for the event were big enough for the guests. There was plenty of security.
Great place, rooms were updated and morden, lot of usb charging. Good lobby area. Small room amenities were good touch too.
Great location, plenty of eating places within walking distance...
Very friendly staff, clean environment, overall good experience
Visited the hotel for the FedEx. Much higher prices than stand-alone location
Everything was great, the feedback from lots of guests and myself are the annoying elevator key cards not working well.
Very helpful staff and beautiful hotel located in the middle of downtown.
Did not stay there. Wanted to. But their very onerous cancellation policy of 7 DAYS ADVANCE was a deal killer. Called and spoke with the manager on duty, and she was totally unapologetic for their policy. No business person would EVER accept terms of 7 DAYS ADVANCE NOTICE for cancellation. Good luck with that Phoenix Downtown Sheraton.
Very accommodating for business meetings and central to downtown entertainment
This hotel is in place of stores and restaurants to eat. This downtown and there a lot to do. The rooms are very spacious and have a wonderful image of the city. They also have a pool on the fourth floor that is a bit small but they have sun beds. They also have a gym for exercise and have ample space to look at the valley.
Great experience. Staff went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable!
Clean hotel, internet is outrageously expensive at 14.95 PER DAY.
We recently stayed at the Sheraton Grand in Phoenix and had a wonderful experience! The staff was absolutely wonderful! Our housekeeper, Rose, was extraordinary, and the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was phenomenal! The staff in both the restaurant and hotel really care about your comfort and it is evident in the way they treat their guests. We are in Phoenix every year for a convention and stay in the Sheraton without question. We KNOW we will be well taken care of!
Very clean room s and polite staff Cant wait to come back next year
Great location, wonderful accommodations and staff.
One of the best suite/rooms available to tourists in the world!
Went in to fed ex office 1.58$ there 10 dollars parkjng
The hotel was clean and comfortable but a bit on the small size. They have done a great job making the place feel modern despite its 70's looking exterior. We booked a room that had access to the lounge and it included free anytime soda, coffee, tea, hot cocoa and a few snacks plus Continental breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. I didn't like that I had to pay for parking at $20/night. I feel that if you are paying for a room you should have parking included.
Great location and good view try to get higher floors for better views
nice and quiet downtown. fee for parking. restaurant was very clean, fresh foods, great service. air conditioning worked wonderful..we stayed executive level with free breakfast and late afternoon snack. nice pool rooftop.
Nice rooms. Clean near to downtown. Deffo coming back here again.
Service is fast and courteous. Elevators are plentiful and fast. Plenty of restaurant and food options are nearby and within walking distance.
Comfortable hotel and decent location. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Not enough outlets in room. Bathroom Faucets had to be wrenched open. Confusing elevators with room key enforcement that were not explained and were rather frightening to have to use, unfriendly desk staff, uncomfortable pillows (all air), and smallest TV of any hotel I have stayed at. I will never stay here again, and I've stayed in several dozens of hotels and never said that. Shouldn't have been charges the upscale price for a mediocre hotel.
Only commenting on their conference Hall. It was nicely decorated. Given the use of water jug dispensers, there was shortage of water constantly. Otherwise great staff and spacious
Just picked up my dad there. Nice valet loop. Thats all i saw.
The rooms are nice, the restroom is roomy, and so far, the staff is pretty cool.
Beautiful interiors and well managed meeting rooms. Went to a reception in the Oculus "room" which was an outdoor balcony. Weather was perfect.
Very friendly staff. The resturant staff.was.the best!
Nice hotel and rooms. The 'Going Green' initiative gave a nice incentive to skip unnecessary laundering of towels, etc. Convenient to most of downtown Phoenix.
Amazing service, great rooms, good location, breakfast could be better...
Great room, great view and right next to the convention center.
I stay at a lot of Marriott owned properties because their the preferred hotel of my agency if I have to travel for work and I generally love the experience I get why Marriott. Since the merger I ve stayed at a few Sheratons and never had a good experience.
I don t want to be a choosy beggar, come off as entitled or be a Karen but I have to wonder why it is when I m staying in a hotel spending 400 dollars I get worse service than I would for have the price at a Fairfield. No upgrade despite my reward status and it wasn t that nothing was available it was just policy not to offer much to gold members (I ve stayed 36 nights so far and I d like to feel like my loyalty is valued since I often pick this brand over cheaper/more convenient options when traveling for leisure). They did say the room I was in would be upgraded and have a large TV. It didn t. The TV was tiny...
Why build expectations?
The TV also didn t offer any way to connect to streaming services. Again why so cheaper less star chains have better amenities than higher end hotels chains?
Check out was inconvenient. I called early in the morning asking if it would be possible to have a cart or bellhop at my room at 1:30-2:00 timing. They told me I couldn t schedule an exact time and I would have to call the bell desk and join a que. I did so and was told I d be called when a cart was available. That meant staying ready to run back up to the room in a moments notice.
When I hadn t received a call by 2:00 I called down and was told they d have someone up shortly. I then got a call from the bell desk saying there was a cart there and I d have to run back down to the lobby to grab it and there wouldn t be anyone available to help with the cart.
And again, it s not so much the lack of things available as being told I could have one thing (someone up to meet me, which is why I was waiting around in the room) and then being told actually no.
And I really don t want to seem lazy. It s just I had come up to the room specifically because I was told to go there, and I stayed waiting because I was told to stay and then I m told actually come downstairs and get your cart or we are giving it to the next person in line...
Getting up and down the elevators meant getting downstairs wasn t exactly easy. You had to hope there was space to get on. Whereas I d assume if someone was available to bring carts they d have their own service elevator available. So being told after coming up that actually I need to go back down was seriously inconvenient.
I m a small gal who was in heals that day, my husband has bad knees and walks with a cane. Assistance would have been nice. Or at least being honestly told what to expect and where to wait...
Nice layout of the room and, being on the 21st floor offered a great view of the city lights at night! Ballroom was perfect and so was the food! We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely consider staying there again!
I did not stay overnight at the Sheraton but went to attend an event. The facilities were very clean and the employees were helpful. They have a salt water pool which could be cleaner.
Beautiful accomodations, friendly staff - I would stay here again 5 stars
It was better then staying at Hyatt. Like the 10$ buffet at District restaurant.
The Sheraton was such a great hotel! Staff was professional and accommodating. Our room was very clean in all areas. The lobby and event room was beautiful and very well maintained. The overall hotel was gorgeous and is in a great location in downtown Phoenix. I would definitely love to stay here again!
In the middle of everything downtown. No more than 3 blocks to entertainment, food and cultural centers. Staff very nice and helpful. Always please. Has underground parking. A restaurant and full breakfast cafe. Clean open and nice. Room was great.
