The room assigned was cramped and the room I was moved had minimilitisc storage - more like some furniture and bed thrown into a tent or temp acco. Lounge is more of name sake and not really useful and no real value seen for being a platinum member

Broken elevators (2 of the 4) that were not fixed for three days led to waits of over 10 minutes. Concierge gave wrong info multiple times, leading to missed events and wasted time. Front desk staff didn t know the name of their manager. Food was stale and expensive. Location across from mall was good. Housekeeping was kind and helpful.

Not as impressive on the interior as some hotels might be. The lobby and floors are lean more towards utility than opulance, but absolutely not anything to complain about. Everything is fresh and clean with Arizona flair, and with an appropriate amount of marblre, glass, and brass for a downtown hotel. The location is superb, a short trip from the airport, adjacent to a beautiful outdoor mall right outside the lobby doors, and looking down on Chase Field and the covention centers. A great value and base for visiting Phoenix.

I've have visited the Sheraton hotel each year for the past several and every time, the hotel provides exactly what I need. The cafe downstairs is my personal highlight. The prices are extremely fair and it's right across the street from a plaza that includes a movie theater and plenty of eateries.

Made a reservation over the phone, showed up. They didn't have our reservation. Called again once we got to the hotel. Got a room.

Got double charged for not showing up for our reservation. What a load of garbage. That's almost $400 for a one night stay. They told us it's "against policy" to give customers their money back. It should be against policy to wrongfully charge customers but apparently Marriott hotels doesn't really care about the customer much.

Nice hotel in downtown Phoenix. Great location, quiet rooms, comfy beds but with an oddly thin comforter. Good facilities, beautiful lobby, but $25.60 plus tax a night for parking? Kind of nutty. Breakfast buffett a bit overpriced for what you get: no omlette station, reconstituted eggs, and Hampton Inn-style fixings MINUS the Hamp-esque waffles. That's right, no waffles! What's the deal Sheraton? Irregardless of the waffle sitch, had a pleasant stay at this property and would do so again.

Great hotel! Their famously comfortable bed and linens were absolutely delightful and the rooms are clean and well-presented.
The service is good and there are range of restaurants to choose from. The staff are very helpful!

We stayed here for 1 night on our way from Texas to California, and it was my first stay at a Sheraton. The staff was extremely friendly, the front desk agents were extremely helpful and accommodating. The property and rooms were beautiful, well maintained and very nice for the price we played. It was an amazing experience for my family.

The Valley Overlook Restaurant was absolutely the worst place I have eaten at in Phoenix. The coffee was weak and had no flavor at all. The breakfast buffet - the eggs & potatoes were cold, the bacon tasted like cardboard, and the fruit was either mushy or hard as a rock. For $18 per person and from a hotel with the stature of the Sheridan I expect a LOT better!

Overall great experience. Bartenders were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Staff at front desk made check in at a late hour painless. Rooms were clean and well stocked. However, parking is paid, $20 for overnight.

My first impression was amazing. Upon check in at the desk, I was greeted by Eleni. She handled the my check-in seamlessly, explaining how the parking worked, and where things were located, how to access WiFi, and all the other things a guest would need to know...and she did it with a big smile! I checked into my room and really had no complaints, but this is my first time at a Sheraton property (I am a loyalty rewards member of another major chain), and frankly was surprised at the austere nature of the furnishings. However, when I laid down in the bed for a moment, my first impression of the furnishings went out the window. I'm not sure where Sheraton gets their mattresses, but they should never change....like heaven! And the pillows were beyond comfortable...not those flat foam pillows, but pillows you could actually fluff-up. My last comment is in regards to the fitness center. If fitness centers are important to you, you will be amazed! Yes, the usual treadmills, bicycles, and ellipticals, but also free weights and many fitness machines for upper and lower body. The center is huge and overlooks the outdoor pool and hot tub! I am now rethinking my brand loyalty. This is a great property, well managed, and has a well trained, friendly staff. I highly recommend this property.

I stayed here in November 2018 for a work conference. The hotel is nicely updated, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. The conference space worked well for a large professional meeting. The hotel is also in a good part of town.

While in downtown Phoenix, this hotel is in a pretty sketchy area-didn't feel comfortable going out for a walk. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and staff is friendly. Beware of the restaurant inside-it was really terrible. Fish was dry, service was very slow (they were not busy at all) and ambience was dull.

The hotel itself is great, but there are few attractions/activities to explore in the nearby area, especially if on foot. The rooms are somewhat small for a hotel of its type, but the amenities in the room are excellent, the rooms are extremely clean, comfortable, and most importantly, cool.

The location is walking distance to many very good restaurants and places of interest. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, one of the best hotel staff I've ever interacted with.

The Phoenix Sheraton Grand is located close to the sports stadiums in downtown with plenty of food and entertainment close by. The rooms are above average Sheraton rooms and are generally in good repair. The room service is better than averaged and I specifically really enjoyed the short rib sloppy Joe's.

very nice room, great location for where we were going. maybe I'm not as well traveled as I like to think I am but I had never stayed anywhere that I had to pay for parking before. i thought that was odd. and while the bed was extremely comfortable i didn't think the furniture was. super cool the table was adjustable for height!
would definitely consider the Sheraton if i were staying downtown for a game again.

They have a beautiful gym. But I was mostly at the Sheraton for a convention and the elevators took terribly long to use because of the large number of people trying to get on one. We had to give up most of the time and just take the stairs

Disappointing customer service and expensive parki...

Disappointing customer service and expensive parking for hotel guests. I literally have had better experiences at Motel 6 and La Quinta Inn and for a fraction of the price. The mattress must have been older as it had deep dips causing it to be uncomfortable. The most aggravating aspect for me was my brand new vehicle's door was scratched and the door dented while in the hotels parking garage. I contacted the hotel's security and provided my information and the parking space my vehicle was last parked. The security said they would review the cameras and contact me back. As of writing this, it has been four days and not a single phone call. Be forewarned, as I was not, the hotel charges $20/day for guest parking. The hotel said their parking was public parking as well so they charged everyone. The parking garage access gate only worked half of the time, requiring I call the hotel's front desk only to be transferred to the valet office so they could eventually open the gate. Guest services attitude was lackluster at best. When asked a question, they would inflect their voice just the slightest so as to convey they did not care about your question and did not want to answer it. I felt as though I paid for a nice hotel only to have poor customer service, my vehicle damaged, and an uncomfortable rest. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. I'm sure others have had good experiences here, but I unfortunately did not.

To be fair, the room's decor was pleasant and sufficient. Room service did an excellent job preparing the room every day. The room I stayed in had a safe, refrigerator, armoire, desk, television, and complimentary WiFi.

Good experience staying at the hotel. All amenities are good for the price you pay. However, dinning inn and breakfast needs considerable improvement. The in-room dinning continental breakfast is upwards of $25 but the portion and preparation is considerably lacking. The breakfast place in lobby is managed as a sit-down restaurant with consistent wait times of 15- 20mins, for breakfast. That may seem upscale but is highly inefficient in mornings especially given that the hotel is not luxury hotel close to a vacation spot but geared towards travelling professionals.
