Nice hotel! Conference is catered, so I'm EXTREMELY pleased, delicious food and great staff!
I would hv a 5 but minor things. Itty bitty repair on door stop, it was actually taped with BLUE tape. Nothing major.

The Overtop/view pool is really nice, but boy is it hot here, whew!

Subject to change.
(During 1st Sep to 3rd aug) Saboten con.)
Unfortunate events led to being charged for self parking???
Valet amazing and friendly, except for one individual.. they already know who I am referring to.
Phone in room came unplugged

Nice location, great atmosphere, especially in the drive through/ luggage area. Great organization and efficiency otherwise.

Security is meh in regards to searching bags in terms of thoroughness, but the lines sure stay moving.

This is the nicest hotel in Downtown Phoenix in terms of location and the events they host.

Unfortunately paying a premium for the room doesn't get you a FREE spot in the garage?
Let me phrase once more. Arrive on check in date and was told garage was full.
Cars come and go.
Spots open and close by the moment.
Why is the sink too low pressure?
Why was my free parking not Free?

To be continued.
Rating subject to change.

Rooms smell nice and are clean though and check in staff couldn't be better.

The only real discrepancy is the poor coordination between Valet parking and Hotel staff (they are two separate companies/entities)
Corrected.
Valet was amazing and bellman. Service excellent.
Irwin, Chris Miller, Vince, Kyle, and Mike are professional, kind, and expedient. The customer service you dream of when you come to a hotel for these events.

We were here for a 3-day conference and there's not a whole lot of food choices within quick walking distance. There is a small food court across the street but there aren't many choices. We ended up relying on food from the hotel restaurant, which was mediocre and highly overpriced. No public continental breakfast so you have to order breakfast from the expensive and time consuming hotel restaurant if you don't want to leave the building. Each meal at the main restaurant cost $20-50/person and was reminiscent of cafeteria food like Aramark or something. The room we got had a nice view but was across from an ice machine so it was noisy with people getting ice all day and night. The elevators were working on an off. We actually bonded with fellow residents over how inconsistently the elevators worked for people. The staff were very nice at every step. In fact, a few of the cleaning staff saying goodbye to us as we left was one of the best experiences. Despite the poor amenities, I give this hotel 3 stars based purely on the staff and customer service.

This review is of the location as a conference venue (I didn't stay there). I worked in a Sheraton as a bartender a little over a decade ago. This place, from the he conference attendee's standpoint, kicks the pants off of my old workplace. It's well appointed, spacious, has reasonable accoustics, and the staff were polite, efficient, and unobtrusive. I can't say anything about the back end preparations for the conference, but I wouldn't object to attending another meeting here, and wouldn't mind getting a room to check it out further.

Nice modern hotel with very contemporary room styles and stand up showers with hand wands. Excellent staff members who genuinely seem concerned for your comfort and ensuring you have a good and relaxing stay.

Hotel in general was great. The lobby area was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Only giving four stars because the size of the bathroom was not accommodating for two people to get ready for a night on the town simultaneously. Awkward toilet and sink placement.

Byron at the concierge desk is a treasure! He recommended nothing but gold. Every meal we had with his guidance was some of the best food we ve ever had! TJ at the pool bar was awesome, as well! Give them raises, benefits, whatever is takes to keep them! And the staff in the district restaurant were all on point. The reasons for 4 stars not 5: other pool bar staff act annoyed when you order and give a countdown until they close. Not like a traditional last call. More you have 45 minutes until I leave while waving your card at your face. The parking deck is a bit difficult with people not getting their cards to scan on the first try then piling up with cars.

I came here for a work conference the parking was a little bit difficult and complicated the hotel itself was very nice but the conference rooms are in a different area and on a date for which when you first come into the hotel it would be nice to have some direction or something to direct you to where they were the phone in the conference center was mediocre but the setup for the conference rooms was great

I sampled a number of appetizers while attending an event, didn't find anything I disliked. The cheese plate really ought to have a bit more bread to go with it, and the container for the chutney/jam was shaped a bit weird for the purpose; it was a cube. I don't know the ballrooms by name, but the big one on the second floor was gorgeous. The smaller conference rooms were nice, but nothing to write home about. Bathrooms were clean, the paper hand towels were nice quality and available in stacks near the sinks, no fumbling with hand dryers or dispensers. I don't know if it was happy hour, but my bill showed that beers were $3 a glass. If I had taken a cab/Uber, I probably would have had a few more. The whole building has a variety of spaces that are great for a dynamic social event. Sometimes it's great to hang out with a bunch of people on comfortable benches and couches, but there are also some spaces that are a little bit out of the way for quieter discussion. (Nothing private enough to substitute for a room, so don't get any ideas) I tried to figure out how to get into their parking garage, but the directions were a bit unintuitive, and with the added stress of navigating around other people also trying to find a spot, I found myself failing to turn in, and ended up back out on the street on the other side. I don't know if there were clear signs, or if I was just oblivious (I will probably just oblivious.) I didn't interact with the staff often, but they were helpful and friendly.

Our event was well organized and appreciated the time the employees took to guide us. Valet was a little slow, but understandably for the amount of cars they had to bring out when the event was over. Very nice hotel.

The staff here are rude and not very accommodating to families with small children. I understand this is more of a hotel for business professionals but not able to provide the same level of service to family oriented guests is appalling. We asked for a late checkout so my daughter could take a nap before our late flight home and we were flat out told they can not help us. While my daughter was napping another day I had ordered uber eats to be delivered to our room and they wouldn't allow the driver to deliver the food and were trying to make me leave my daughter alone on the 17th floor to go down to get my delivery. The concierge desk was rude and told me she would have to get a manager involved and was not pleasant to work with making me feel like an inconvenience to their ridiculous regulations and like I wasn't going to get my food because I didn't feel comfortable leaving my daughter alone in our room. The rooms are small compared to other rooms in Phoenix we have stayed in, the television is small and there is no storage anywhere so our room looked like a tornado had gone through daily because everything had to sit out in the open with no drawers to store anything. There is one tiny wardrobe with 2 drawers but not nearly enough space for 3 people so we had to live out of our suitcase for our entire stay. We had to call 3 times to have housekeeping come to our room to clean. We travel with our small daughter about every other month and have never had as bad of service as we received at the Sheraton. We will be sticking with Hilton hotels from here on out. Good luck to you if you're staying with your family or children here because they will treat you very poorly.

While attending the AFMA annual awards presentation, the catered meal was found to be sub-par. At a $500/seat event, the steak was served in inconsistent states: everything from blue rare to medium well. We were not asked for preference and no indication of how what was put in front of is was cooked. The accompanied chicken breast was overcooked and dry, as well as a form of under and overcooked risotto failure. I am unsure as to whether or not this caterer was from the hotel or an outside source, but whomever it was failed, badly...

Nice room, nice pool and gym, awful location as downtown phoenix really has nothing going on. Front desk staff is ok, valet guys only greet you if you look smoking hot (woman) or white (yes i can t believe it s 2017 and it still happens), had to stand and wait, well no-one really approaches you and your car unless you are white, realized this after my 3rd stay at the hotel. Wifi sucks, paid for it but router signal keeps dropping. Concierge manager is awesome. Hispanic lady hostess in the breakfast buffet is great. Nice christmas train setup at the lobby.

Great hotel, great staff. We've been there for only one night and the experience was very pleasant. Accommodations are great, and the room we stayed had one of the best beds I've ever slept comparing to other hotels. We've been there for a concert that was cancelled while we were flying there and they even got us the option to not check in and save some money, which was very gentle. But we decided to stay and explore the city, which by the end was a very nice experience. Definitely recomended!

I stayed here for a conference. Loved the location because it was an easy ride from the airport. There are also many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself has a nice restaurant and bar. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is very friendly. This is a great place to stay when visiting PHX. Enjoy.

Excellent service, at this fine hotel. We were there for a conference and needed supplies so we ran out to a Office depot. Unfortunately did not know they had a fully stocked Fed Ex shipping g a supply center on the 2nd fl.
Atmosphere at the hotel was upscale, the bartenders were friendly, food was good.
Photos of the Fed Ex store....
