My husband and I stayed here the last night of our honeymoon and couldn't have had a better place to bring an incredible trip to a close. With a little less than 24 hours in Sydney we were worried we wouldn't be able to see much, but with the Sheraton's prime location we were able to go to the SkyTower, Hyde Park and the Cathedral all within a block of each other. We'll definitely be staying here again next time we're in Sydney.
Very comfortable stay for business. No complaints but nothing to rave about either.

The hotel is at a great location right next to Hyde Park. They upgraded us to a suite facing the park which has a really nice view of the city skyline and the water. The seafood buffet there is good v and orrery good value. The bar next to it is pretty popular and and nice lounge to get a drink.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon night and I wasn't well and needed assistance.
My husband called the front desk and told them I was unwell and made a mess on the floor and someone needed to attend to us. someone came with towels (mind u we didn't have enough towels to begin with) and that was it. Told us someone would come back in the morning and no one came. I was still unwell in the morning.
The manager then decides to charge my husband and I the cleaning services for floor and the fact that they couldn't use the rooms for two nights! UNBELIEVABLE!
The fee was over $1000! we told them we had called and wanted help told them we had made a mess and no one even cared! Then they want to charge us over $1000 in damage and also because the rooms were not available for two nights and couldn't show no proof that it was booked!!
just disgusting and I cannot believe it even after speaking with the manager and telling him that no one assisted us! he didn't care. what happened to looking after your customers? yeh we didn't get nothing and mind u this was on our honeymoon night!
so I am really disgusted with the service that I was given.
I will never recommend this hotel to anyone nor will I ever visit again.

For a place that's so expensive, you'd think they'd have free in-room Wi-Fi. ALWAYS understaffed. Also, only one cubical in the men's public toilet. Seriously? That's ridiculous!

The Christmas in July buffet was awesome, excellent variety and really fresh ingredients.

Friday drinks at the bar before the 8.30 pm buffet. Bar noisy and smoky. Service underwhelming. The buffet food is good, but it's not a great way to eat. Too many people at the seafood station.
One of the best properties in the brand. Excellent staff and the best Club Lounge I've visited in Sheratons across four continents. This place is a real treat for SPG loyalists. Rooms up high overlooking Hyde Park are a great treat to wake up to in the morning.

Amazing hotel on the main road. Located at the heart of the city. Opp to the park for morning and evening walks. 1 min distance from the train station. Good property.

Today very low seafood quality prawns were very sogy and soft oysters not the best even the salad selection wasn't great i am a regular patron but tonight was way over priced $109 for low standard seafood
Always enjoy staying at Sheraton on the Park, it's in good location for the Sydney Festival in Hyde Park, nice rooms, good service.
Pre-Christmas dinner excellent. Staff were professionally attentive to just the right degree. Starwood membership definitely worth it. Only opportunity for improvement would have been to choose more ripened soft cheeses at room temperature.
Fantastic place to stay. The staff are wonderful, the room was luxurious, well appointed and good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, wish I had more time to stay longer.
I stayed their for a 2 week quarantine, so somewhat unique experience. From what I was able to experience the hotel was quite good and the room very nice.
Stayed here for a conference, city-side room. Very nice hotel, clean and large room with desk. Access to gym and pool. Good AV facilities and comfortable chairs. Excellent food (lunch buffets and breakfast buffet ( choices include fresh omelet, pancakes, ice cream etc)). Two points for improvement: no free wifi (unacceptable in 2016!) and surprise credit card surcharge
Had a great stay. Solid location on Hyde Park, super easy walk from St James station. Crazy great weekend brunch, Outstanding fitness center for a hotel. Great executive lounge. Very nice views on park side.

No variety at the buffet dinner. Very limited selection of hot food. Very nice setting however..
The executive club here is the best I have ever experienced. Amazing breakfast and evening canapes, including sushi and oysters!
I had my wedding And booked two nights and I decided to stay at the Sheraton and I had booked for 9 other guests who also attended the Sheraton and they all stayed the night I ended up getting charged a duplicate charge because there names were not the same as the booking they charged me extra $2000 an it was meant to be my honey moon they told me

They also did not give me any warning welcome from the start they were being rude as they got confused with the booking
The manager name was Ho Jin park and he refused to help us was extremely rude and had attitude towards us and we should have been in a happy mood after getting married
They didn t even welcome us with a bottle of Champaign or anything as a congratulations
Very acceptable. Came here for City 2 surf. Two nights in August. Nice sized room. Deep bath. Beautiful big fluffy towels. The elevators were surprisingly quick. Perfectly situated to Saint James station. And very close to Hyde park. Recommended
Mixed experience at Sheraton Grand Hyde Park Sydney during a 3 day conference and stay.
The catering was great!! And accommodate for dietry requirements, often only one at a time though.
Buffet breakfast was quite extensive. Plenty of options! Definitely something for everyone. But be sure to get it in a package, because it is a little pricey.
The coffee was a little hit & miss. Most were really good, with the odd one waaayyyy too hot or poor taste.
There are tons of different meeting rooms of various sizes.
My hotel room was lovely!

Really enjoyed being here. He rooms were very clean, the service was very good, and the area was second to none. Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, Potts Point, were within easy walking distance or a short Uber ride. I would give this a 5 star if it had a livelier bar and restaurant open till very late. But then again not everyone needs this

The Sheraton on the Park across from Hyde Park Sydney serves the most amazing food! The variety of dishes and service is second to none!
Stayed with my bf and was amazed at how beautiful the room was... decor was modern with all amenities (including Bluetooth speaker, Nespresso style machine, usb charging ports etc) and the bathroom awesome with black marble. Pleasantly surprised for the price definitely the best hotel we've stayed at in Sydney so far!
The biggest advantage of the hotel, in addition to the famous international brand, is LOCATION! Located on the edge of Hyde Park, on the boutique street, under the Sydney Tower, surrounded by various traffic, it is not only good for travelers, but also a great choice for meetings and business. The lobby is very grand, and I am also very satisfied with the restaurant Feast on the second floor. These can be seen in the picture. The hotel room is a bit old, but it is big enough and the bathroom is also big. I am very satisfied with the hygiene except for the carpet. The details are sufficient. The front desk service is quite satisfactory and not outstanding. It is said that the service and room are deducted points, but the location is supplemented by points, and the score is 5 stars

The property is situated at the heart of the city, walking distance to many attractions which is a plus. Close proximity to Haymarket means that I can stay out a while later and meet up with some friends.
The rooms were neat and clean, not really huge but acceptable for city hotels. The bed is quite comfortable.

Went to the dinner buffet. Seafood was good but there wasn't a big range of hot foods to choose from. The macarons were very good though.
The sheraton hotel is one of the BEST hotwls in the world. In my opinion and I highly reccomend it to people who would like to go there in their holidays

Booked and paid for a king sized bed for one night. When I entered the room I was surprised by two single beds. I rang the desk to change and was told that king size beds were available but a change would cost $80 for one night.

No staff - usual issue of service which for a major hotel is a dire state - always slow to respond - run in a staff cost shoestring by the owners and has been for a while - not a problem of one doesn t pay accordingly and has lowered expectations
Wonderful buffet! I Ioved the Peppered Mackerel and to have Brussel sprouts after so long, was amazing! The range of seafood was fantastic and there was plenty of choice of desserts.

Brilliant hotel, customer service is second to none, we love the politeness, friendliness and even humour from some of the hotel personnel right from the moment we got out of the car. No matter how busy the staff are, they make the effort to make us feel special. The facilities and room is absolutely beautiful and comfortable.
