Went to the seafood buffet, good selection, good taste
Was here for the MoodleMoot conference but not for accommodation. The hotel lobby is very elegant and the food was superb. There is a convenient restaurant off the lobby. During conference meals the very professional kitchen and wait staff kept the good food and sweets coming and catered for all tastes and dietary requirements.
Great hotel one of the best for casual stays in Sydney and good central location.
Posh place but staff are very nice and helpful. Amazing views of harbour bridge while having a beer
Left USB C charger in the room. 'Not found' by the house keeper. Pretty good little test for the integrity of the place.
No free internet. The only free available option is 2h, and after that need to pay. Welcome to 21 century.
Good location, well-managed room, friendly staffs.. nothing to complain.
The buffet did not live to the hype. There was a good selection of seafood (although not as fresh as it could be). However there was really a lack of variety in foods other than seafood. The staff however were quite attentive and the buffet was quite clean
Stunning lobby, rooms lean heavily on the modern aesthetic, with hallways decked in framed art and a beautiful view of house park.
There was a christmas party there and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The place was clean and had a classic and grand feel to it.
Great stay with fantastic service from the front desk with a great executive club.
I stay here quite often and always enjoy the high levels of service, great comfortable rooms. Excellent pillow selection and the Sheraton Club on the top floor had sweeping views of Sydney Harbour. Clearly see North and South Headlands!
The room was incredible during my stay for covid19 14 day quarantine. I highly recommend saying here. Unfortunately, I didn t get to make use of any of the other facilities so the 5 stars is solely based on the comfort of the room.
Lovely hotel, one of the best in Sydney. Rooms are good in size, well maintained, and styled in a really nice manner. Hotel staff are all very professional and nice to deal with. Good views out the park side. Amazing views from the gym and club. If there's room and the price is reasonable then book it in. It won't disappoint.
We received a very warm welcome and service at the bar at the hands of Serena. She was a bundle of joy to be around and made our experience at the hotel that much more enjoyable.
Excellent attention to details, the lunch provided was amazing.
A special experience each time we come to stay. Just hope the merge this year does not deteriorate the standards that Sheraton on the Park upholds to date.
Luxurious lobby and rooms. City side is pretty lackluster, but accommodations are gorgeous. Lovely bathroom and fantastic location.
This hotel is very central. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The afternoon tea is great value. It is a buffet style which is unusual for an afternoon tea and the first one I have come across in Sydney. The price is around $50 but if you are a Starwood Preferred Guest you get 10% off.
Great venue, great food and great team with amazing service!
I went for a graduation dinner. The good was very good however it needs more seafood variety (more type of fish) and better taste. And it needs better dessert quality
Hotel is very dated, especially the rooms. The service is decent, however if you are looking for a SPG hotel the Westin is much better and normally the same price. I am a Platnium member and I was not upgraded, however at the Westin I normally am.
We had High Tea booked & awesome location & interior decor just opposite St James Station & panoramic landscape of Hyde Park and the Cathedral. Staffs are friendly and very assistive service
This is a great place for the three day conference I attended, the staff were very helpful and the food and service was excellent
We were there for 3 nights at the start of our honeymoon. All staff we interacted with were very nice. They sent us up champagne to get this amazing trip started. Rooms were decent size, bathrooms were huge, and well serviced daily. They are across the street from the park which is nice because you're always a few steps away from an enjoyable place to sit outside. They are also a few feet from the train that runs straight to the airport
Attended an event at Sheraton, very nice place. Service was brilliant, catering was very good.
Despite the immense cost of hotel quarantine imposed upon guests, the hotel fails to cater for dietary requirements. Absurd vegan meals are provided, and often dietary preferences are ignored altogether. Dairy breakfasts were provided and the hotel was not responsive to feedback. Some examples of poor quality, absurdly composed meals include unseasoned tofu and roasted potato for breakfast, or baked beans served with hummus and felafel.
Located next to Hyde park. Not far from the Opera house, around 15 min by walking. The room is comfortable. The service is good and the food is delicious. Also it's not far from the Darling harbour, jast 2 blocks away.
Nice hotel, they have buffet breakfast and lunch and function rooms.
Excellent hotel and a great downtown location. Very expensive both room and food.
Absolutely delicious food catered on a buffet style, especially salmon was very well cooked and dessert was mouth-watering especially the vanilla ice cream with raspberry sorbet!
Located very conveniently near the business area. Hotel looks old. Room needs refurbishment. Does not feel cozy. Overall a ok hotel compared to the price you pay.
I thought the high tea service was over priced at $150.00 for 2. There were no other options as this was the new holiday option. The website had not indicated this. The presentation was pretty although staggered. There were also flys and mosquitos to contend with throughout the meal. This was due to the open doorway from the main entry. I also found it noisy and unrefined. I simply expect more from a high tea experience and particularly from the Sheraton brand. I didn't enjoy myself, I felt like my money was wasted and I was cheated out of what should have been a delightful experience. I would not recommend the High Tea at the Sheraton on Park nor will I go back.
Heavily overrated place. Could not even manage to put some valets at the entrance on a quiet Sunday night. Guy on reception was unfriendly and suspicious as I had no booking. Very expensive, bad parking arrangements as unless you want to pay $10 on top of an already steep $50 for parking you need to drive around the corner and then find a spot in a pretty crowded carpark. No guest services phone quality with phone left to ring and no one answered. Lined up in busy reception. Do not know why they are busy. Would never return.
Very good lobby lounge ...good for business meeting
Great rooms, friendly staff and the food was awesome!
Very reasonably priced and excellent location. Recommended.
Absolute must is the buffet lunch... rooms lovely and comfy beds.
Attended the opening night for the hotel upgrade to five star. Awesome night
Visited the Rejuvenation Day Spa! Beautiful full body massage, took Mum for a facial, loved it too. Change room is a bit small especially when there's like more than 3 ladies in there!
Love the live performance for entertainment, as well as the high class service.
We had a 3 course meal at the Sheraton, from a superb seafood buffet, then hot food after. Finishing with a delicious cheese cake and a cup of coffee.
Great hotel the only place I stay in Syndey. Love the breakfast buffet.
Very nice venue, with staff trying to best suite the customers needs
Really loved the place, the renovated rooms were really great. Had a great breakfast and lunch with varieties were really awesome. I recommend it highly for business meetings and parties. Great service from staff and best view of sydney.
It is a nice hotel
We stayed two nights, not sure why but room wasn't cleaned after first night and if they are a five star hotel like they say they are I would of thought when we asked them to bring some fresh towels up to the room while we were out they would of taken the finished food trays.
It's only a small thing but it is definitely something noticed and maybe the pricing for room service is a bit steep.
Couldn't count as a Five star experience,Everything out sources.Staff just refilling and and chef's busy with emails only. Two star for the ambience.
Food was ok. Seems to have gone down since the last time we were there. Service/staff were still really good here
What makes for a wonderful dinner is the good food and drinks, but most importantly the friendly people that look after you.
Beautiful place, comfortable, great service, friendly staff. Top notch.
Had a fantastic stay at the Sheraton for a recent conference. Also, the breakfast/lunch buffet is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommended.
The room was amazing. We were even given free bottle of wine bowl of fruit and chocolates. Only negative was dining area is cramped compared to other hotels we have stayed.
We have resided here hundreds of nights and are always happy to stay. Good service and hospitality. Suites are very nice with Ambassador being our favourite one.
Probably my third favourite place to stay in Sydney, great sized rooms, near some park land and close to CBD locations and train stations.
Customer service in the buffet is lacking. Waiters are visibly overworked because they're understaffed. Almost impossible to get staff's attention.
I really liked the grand appearance of the lobby. The location is superb with a great view of the park and right in the heart of the city. The staff are also very professional and attentive
A well-established luxury hotel in the heart of Sydney, very close to Hyde Park. I think that you can walk from Circular Quay and Darling Harbor if you do your best by the side of St. James station.
If you arrive by JAL flight from Tokyo, you will find it difficult to leave your luggage, but of course there is a cloak on the ground floor of this hotel, and you will be able to check in after check-out.
Although there were many rooms, I was able to check in despite the fact that I was not working at all, even though I visited in the morning, and I was able to leave my luggage in my room. It is a good service for people who want to change clothes.
The scones are the Best in their high tee. I think the best hotel high tea in Sydney.
Great rooms (new, clean and tidy).. service is also very good. The location is good with most City access being within walking distance...
