Top-of-the-range hotel, I highly recommend it. Also well equipped it is very close to the center of New York. The wifi is so powerful that it goes up to times square
If you are ordering room for 3 you willbe getting two medium size beds , pbly not comfortable for 3 ppl...cleaning service quite so so...location is great thou
Great hotel great location
The elevators are a bit of a problem, they broke down twice in 5 days and 1 elevator has floors it refuses to go to, our floor of course.
This is honestly is a mess, we ordered a superior room. (For extra money). It was the exact same, we pay 600 dollars a night and it s not worth it.
Nice hotel, near a ton of attraction and restaurant's
I've always had good service here. The hotel is a little old and worn, but the location is great and they have made some updates to the rooms and common spaces.
Mediocre - staff was friendly and common areas and gym are nice, but rooms are dated, appliances and fixtures are problematic, there's lots of construction noise, even on upper floors, bed and pillows are lumpy, and they charge you to store luggage (and pay with cash) when checking in or out. Avoid.
My brothers' birthday weekend was great! Rooms near each other, jr suite for getting together night #1 and conf room over next two days...expensive, but worth it. In mid town!
Hotel ok. Passable price. Food disappointing. For the New Year's menu for two people paid $ 100 excluding drinks. In good old Germany the shop would have closed again after 2 weeks. Not worthy of a 4 star hotel.
A Sheraton in the heart of NYC on 7th Ave, what's not to love?
Great location. Very close to the top places to visit in Midtown Manhattan. We were also given larger room than we actually booked. Price is reasonable and I think affordable to think this is in the Big Apple but I think more Asian hotels are better in regards to facilities and amenities.
Attended my holiday party. Food is better than average. Staff is great and attentive. Hotel is well maintained and clean.
Rooms are a little small but the hotel is very nice and clean.
The rooms are okay. The location is great. The 1h wait to check-in not so much. They had 2 people for the 40+ regular guests and 5 for the 8 to 10 preferred guest lines. $15 for internet, who still charges for the internet?
Free WiFi only in lobby! So this is first hotel I've stayed that charges $15 for in room WiFi. Its a Sheraton, very disappointed. Even the so called budget motel provide free in room WiFi. Room being shared, three, it's very tight on space. Bathroom has no towel rack to let towels dry, so have them replaced each day. Location is great, 3 blocks from Central Park and 7 blocks from Times Square.
Pros: Location was excellent, hotwire deal made the price amazing, concierge comped us a fridge and Wi-Fi.
Con's: Windows in the rooms needed servicing sounds of the city very loud all night. Room service delivery charge of $6+15% surcharge seemed steep. Deli across the road had great desserts and cheesecake go there instead.
Probably would give this hotel a 3.5 if it was possible.
You have to pay 15 dollars for wifi even though it says guest
Timely check in. Upgraded digitally programmed elevators. Comfy bed. VIP lounge with light breakfast & eve snack. Starbucks blends at will. No meats infused with snacks. But friendly staff, esp Mohamed, monitoring and keeping very clean. Bar avail also.
Clean room, great location and good service in general. Would stay here again.
Expensive but you pay for the central location. Wifi is not free. Rooms are average
Last time staying here. Service is horrible. They get simple things wrong. No more chances. Rooms are dated and smell. Overpriced
A long time ago, but I thought it was a great hotel.
Room was clean and nice but on the small side (what to expect with NY hotels). Location was great. But the attitude that some of the maintenance people had were very rude. Our shower didn't have hot water, so the front desk sent a maintenance guy who came up to "help" and had the worst attitude I've experienced with customer service. So far it's been an hour since he left our room and he still has not returned...No attempt to fix the problem or follow up about the problem. Management really needs to fix this especially for the money people pay (and I) to stay here.
I stayed there for about two days. The cleaning service was amazing.
However, the elevators are bothersome and rather annoying. In order to enter an elevator you have to enter the floor into a keypad which then tells you which floor to take.
The elevators continuously stopped at unnecessary floors in which no one was there. It completely worsened my stay after a long night in New York.
Today I checked out from the hotel flying back home when I came out from the hotel the doorman asked me where you going I said JFK then he offered me a BLACK car he told me the same price $50 .he supose to get me a public transportation(Yellow cab). At the end the black car changed $50+$7 toll+25%tip+$20 surcharge ------$89.50. It's totally wrong
EXEMPT SERVICE OF THE EMPLOYEES. IMPORTANT ADVISE THE CUSTOMER D NOT ADDRESS TRICICLOS X Q ARE CHARISIMOS
I mean you are in the middle of Times Square and the Hotel is awesome!
Perfect location, welcoming staff, just a little too cold rooms
Good location if you like to stay in midtown. Ofcourse a little noisy but it's not a sea-side hotel. Nice staff, comfortable and clean rooms.
Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Location is amazing just 2 minutes away from times Square, the area is packed with restaurants and coffee shops, the rooms are a bit small comparing with other hotels.
Busy. Too big to feel cozy. Bathroom and bedding were clean but less visible areas were dusty. I stepped a cola cup on the flood when I came to my room. I expected a lot more for 4* hotel in NYC
Randomly got the guest of the day! As a result got some nice upgrades for free. The staff was also very helpful
Clean and decent sized rooms for so close to Times Square. Gave us an unmade room initially but moved us to another room within minutes of calling the desk. The expensive contents of the minibar have weight sensors so if you take anything out to make room for your beverages, you will be charged. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food.
attended a convention here. hotel was very nice although the times square location was quite inconvenient
The worst hotel I ve ever stayed in. No free wifi here. Room is very tiny, not very clean. When I open the toilet seat cover, there is a toilet brush inside.
Reservation was made since April 2019 using points. On September the hotel changed the reservation total points. Ended up buying points. After staying and having the required points and receiving the final bill on check out day, hotel decided to cancel points reservation and change it to dollar. I was billed 5 days after check out WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION the rate for 3 nights &1700. After speaking with multiple departments back and forth and hours on the phone still not refunded. Marriott customer service said I had to deal directly with the hotel... the hotel says it can not be resolved at the hotel level. WTF! and I am a Platinum Marriott Member. This is the treatment you get being a Platinum member. FRAUD.
Gym needs updated. Signs suggest it is coming. Mattress uncomfortable. No comped bottled water for coffee.
The location is fantastic, right on Time Square and easily accessible from the airport via train then subway E. The concierge was helpful and knowledgeable but the room was a bit small and although WiFi was free in the lobby finding I would have to pay for WiFi in my room, something that basic motels offer, was disappointing as I would expect in a hotel such as this.
Beautiful hotel and service but parking fees are way too high!
Sure you can ask for more in Manhattan, but you will face 3 times the fares you will pay here. Very good ROI
My wife and I had an excellent experience at Sheraton Time Square during the new year's holiday. I really appreciated the comfort, organization, hotel infrastructure and the amazing employee attention (in special David and the woman bartender from the Club Lounge). Thank You Sheraton!
We had higher expectations because it was a Sheraton. A few reasons why we were dissatisfied are: when we first entered our room our shower had been used. There was a used towel and bar of soap. There was no free WiFi. We found out at the end of our stay that if we signed up for their bonvoy service we'd get free WiFi; too late. The bed was terribly hard and the pillows were the cheapest pillows we've ever used. It was like they were filled with cotton balls. We asked for new ones and were thought even worse ones. Aside from those points everything was fine. The lobby and halls were clean and well ventilated. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Great hotel. Perfect Location! Price not so much ...
The staff was friendly and asked to help at every term. Would love to stay here again
Not happy at all. Terrible service that makes you pay $50 for an early check in even if the room is ready. Housekeeping went through my stuff an hour before check out and had taken the sheets off all the beds even though we hadn't checked out yet. A/c was terrible and bathroom wasn't clean.
Good but it remains a factory without particular charm
Was determined in the best time very chic, unfortunately something spent. The best thing about the hotel is the location.
I was here for a gala of about 300 people. Nice venue, well maintained and elegant. Sound system was good. Food was so-so. There was supposed to have been a choice of dinner options, but the wait staff did not offer any. Salad was ok, main course passable although not memorable, dessert not great. Waiters banged the plates onto the tables and we're way too intrusive. Ok place for a large gathering but wait staff could use some retraining.
Worst hotel we stayed in while in the USA. Lobby always crowded, lobby staff were too passive and did not ensure easy thoroughfare for hotel guests or street traffic either in the lobby or on the pavement outside the hotel. Hotel guests in general were rude.
