The whole experience was horrible even thought my reservation said king city view and I called in advance to make sure is was ok, when I arrived they gave me a standard room, saying that was my reservation. I showed them the pic of my reservation they keep telling no. Fine then they didn't even tell me where my room was I assume go to the first elevators I saw grabbing all my bags with my wife and I we couldn't find my room I have to go all the way down again to ask and they told its in the other side of the building ok then at this point I'm tired and hungry I just want to enjoy a quiet valentines dinner in my room with my wife first of all the phone was completly outdated only if you out on speaker worked and even I had to press the bottom twice. I called room service, guess services front desk NO ONE PICk UP THE PHONE and I called ar least 5-6 times each I had to to walk down AGAIN! from the other side to speak to someone and they I'll that I had to make a line and it was like 7 people in the line I'm still waitimg while ik wriwriting this review. Thank you for ruin my valentines day

One of the worst place I have every stayed. Will not return until things change and people start caring for the customer. Marriott should not have bought the Sheraton. Very sad to see things go down hill.

The hotel is great. The beds are fabulous and the service is good. Though I have been coming to Shows at the Javits Convention Center for years. I have one complaint or maybe two. When I first used this hotel, we got a great breakfast and free parking and discounted ferry tickets. Now we got nothing. So probably I'll be looking at another hotel for next year. I'm very sorry . I loved it there. To the loving manager I will say many thanks!!!!!! God Bless!

It started off so well... We planned a party and the Event Staff was top notch! Our event was lovely and I have no complaints about that part and that is the only nice thing to come out of the weekend stay here.

The problem started when my husband and I pre-paid for three out-of-town guests to stay at the hotel and it was nothing but constant headaches and problems. We booked the hotel rooms in advance and we also called several days prior to confirm the reservations. The girl that handled our call seemed somewhat inept but we finally got it sorted out and received Credit Card Authorization forms and final confirmation that everything was apparently set.

Unfortunately, each guest had major issues checking in. The front desk first told us that there was no reservation, then the excuse became a lack of credit card authorization forms, and there was also confusion because my husband and I are SPG/Marriott Bonvoy Members. I'm not even sure how that caused an issue in booking the rooms but apparently it did.

Each guest checked in separately and we had this issue 4 times because one of the rooms wasn't ready and one guest had to wait. So, of course, the "resolved problem" came up again only hours later when the room was ready to be checked in to. After much back and forth it seemed like everything was, again, sorted out.

But, alas, when each of the three guests checked out ALL THE PAPERWORK HAD MAGICALLY DISAPPEARED YET AGAIN! After speaking to a manager, we had to fill out the credit card authorization AGAIN and on top of that one of the guests were also charged for their rooms along with my husband getting charged for another room, while I got slammed with all three charges. So, two of the rooms were initially charged twice.

We probably spoke to every person who works the front desk and two separate managers. Everyone seemed to be working separately (information seemed to stop with each individual even though we were told over and over that they were leaving notes in the file or something to that affect and we kept getting transferred to a manager and told that everything was good to go) or maybe none of them were ever trained properly?

It's been almost 2 weeks since we left and hopefully we've sorted it out for the last time. (The double charges were finally cancelled and billed correctly.) We are disappointed with the disorganized and unprofessional experience we had at this location. It's been so frustrating working with the hotel staff to work out the same problem again and again, especially after having such a wonderful experience with the event staff, but we will NEVER stay at or recommend this hotel to anyone in the future!!!

Great location! The ferry is right there, as is the Chart House, and if you only have a little bit of time to do the city, this where you want to stay. Close to the airport, and it takes 12 minutes to get across with the ferry. The staff was great, and the hotel was well kept. This is now our go to hotel when we visit NYC.

Disappointing experience. The room was missing a refrigerator which for is important. No complementary wifi & expensive $10 p day and the pool very small . The good part is that you have the waterway to Manhattan just outside the door. Nice view from the room to Manhattan.

The worst experience ever. My husband and i was there on 9/19/20 around 4pm and the man at the desk and lady manager on duty was very rude, so we left and booked at Home Suites by Hilton in Edgewater Nj. The staff is so friendly here. My big family and i travels alot and I called them all and said no more Marriott and im sure they will if passing the word. Change your staff if you want business cause i also witness other customers complaining

About me: Late 30's real New Yorker, born and raised from the Lower East Side.

Review: Got a deal from Groupon for a one night stay for $239 for a king size room. From the photos, room seemed very nice, until I got in. Wasn't actually terrible, but not that good. Decor was classic style, which is strange for a hotel in a brand new developing area, but it just seemed like this place was open since the 80's. Here's what I noticed:

No usb charging near bed, just an old lamp with an old socket (two,)

The refrigerator was a tiny college dorm style type and was on the floor for some reason and was unplugged and smelled king of bad.

There was a stain on the couch which was red (I HOPE it was wine.)

The shower curtain was lazily put on.

The soap and shampoo was tiny and for one guest size. If this is a king size room, the ammenties it comes with should be more large and professional, not tiny vials.

No tooth brush!? Hygienic ammentities are the most important things one can ask for, but shouldn't have to ask for!

Toilet seat doesn't stay up.

Alarm/clock radio didn't work, made a loud buzzing sound.

The view of NY was okay, but there was another wing of the building that stuck out (which is where I expected to be) that blocked the empire state building, so I didn't get to see the best part of the NY skyline view.

All in all, it wasn't worth the price but wasn't too terrible. However, with that being said, I'd probably not return here.

Stay was Great!

Stay was Great!
My husband & I were in town for family wedding in August.
The views of New York City were incredible. Room and linens were fresh and clean. We walked on the pier on the harbor in the evening, very nice!
We had a wonderful getaway weekend.

Need to pay more for a view of NY skyline. Probably worth it.
The rooms are lovely, well appointed. Bed was very comfortable.
Not happy to pay $25 for self parking or $10 for will
The room was expensive enough to include parking and wi fi.

Amazing views of Manhattan and nice, clean rooms. Would rate higher but had issues checking in when rooms we booked were "not available" and told we needed to take non-city view rooms. After some discussion they amazingly found rooms for us. Also, they never told us that there would be a separate fee for parking until we checked out. Aside from that, nice hotel and would recommend.

Hotel is relatively expensive. Partial view is exactly as it sounds...view of a tree with skyline behind. Add ons like parking & breakfast are pricey but seem to be included at other comparable hotels. Rooms are clean & nice, staff have been pleasant, mattress is AWSOME, location is great but ferry into Manhattan is $10 each way which adds up quickly. Overall, recommended but not perfect.

Worst sheraton i have stayed at. $5 to bring silverware to the room, which they told me 40 mins later that they dont have the staff to deliver. On another stay, had to change room three times because of vent noise. Old hotel that smells

The hotel has great views. Be preparerd to take a warm shower. If you like take hot showers than this hotel is not for you. Our room did not have a fridge. Most likey i will not return to Sheraton Lincoln Harbor.

I was only at the hotel to meet with a guest, but my impressions where of good parking (albeit expensive) and a mediocre lobby with too few places to meet. The guest mentioned the on-site restaurant was poor, but the room was about average.

My understanding is that this place has been recently updated. Feels fairly contemporary and comfortable. Depending on where your room is located, you may catch a great view of Manhattan across the harbor. Customer service could be a bit better and acoustics need some work. More specifically, the slamming of neighbors doors could easily disturb your slumber.

Honestly, if I could I would give this hotel no stars. Their service is absolutely horrible. The people who work here are rude, and we had to call 911 because a few people got stuck on the elevator!! Please rethink your decision on staying in this hotel.

Only thing good is the location. We stayed here 4 days Definitely not worth the $$$$ , they have hidden fees that they dont tell you until you get there. They qoute 1 price for incidentals and when we got there they tried to charge double from what i was qouted. They are extremely slow about everything trust me for what they charged you might as well stay somewhere and get better customer service. The room had stains on the curtains, the ac unit was broken the vending machines were sold completely out. Elevator broken had to keep taking stairs 5 flights. The staff except maybe 2 of the ladies were completely clueless, anytime you had a question, they would always respond "i dont know" even about their hotel. I will never stay here again

Was there for a business workshop. Drove in from Long Island. Was easy to get to considering i had to drive through the city and it was just a couple of minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel right when you get out from the city. Place was nice, employees were pleasant. Food in the hotel restaurant was good & the conference room we were in was clean. Did not stay in a room there. Not sure if i would stay there unless there was a multi day business related conference since I could just stay in the city. All in all a positive experience.

Perfect place across hudson river. The view of the city from our room was spectacular, NY waterway was right outside the hotel. You can literally sit in the parking lot and watch the view of manhattan

This is how you imagine his stay in New York or New Jersey. Great view. Great city feeling. The proximity to Hoboken and the ferries make this hotel a convenient base for the first round trips in the city.

The best thing about Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel...

The best thing about Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel is the location! It is located just on the riverside with the New York skyline in the opposite side if the river - some great photo opportunity especially at night. The staff is friendly and rooms are spacious as well!

I gave it 3 stars because their rooms are way too small. I have been here 2 times in 2015 and 2017. It s not as clean as you might expect from a 4 stars hotel. However, they have one of the best view of Manhattan skyline.

Make sure to double check your room package when you are booking it, otherwise you should pay extra for WiFi, breakfast and parking.

The place has a beautiful view from the room. The security is excellent. U can't get inside or in the elevator without a keycard. Soap smelled horrible, i recommend you bring your own. other than that everything was amazing.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My competition team was here because we took a trip. In one room there was period blood on the sheets, pipes were leaking, the man had an attitude about giving us towels and wash cloths
