Room and service were extremely clean and wonderful

Great location and the breakfast sandwich at Jack Austin's is amazing!

The room we got was probably haunted. My key card was lost the moment I walked in the room. My roommates discover weird stains on the bedsheets. I later found my key card the next day in a place were it wouldn't be able to have been anyway. Hotel breakfast was decent.

Great view...rooms...ehh... noisy ac unit...do not disturb sign up and ignored...call front desk and got bad info...business trip so I didn't pay...would go elsewhere on my money...sorry

The rooms were nice, but there wernt any microwaves, fridges, etc. And were none avalible to use!! But the service was ok.

Clean rooms. Efficient and friendly staff. Stunning views of NYC skyline. Public transportation close and easy to use. Would def stay again.

The location was very easy to get to and the views were amazing. The rooms were clean and very large and the folks at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Nothing fancy but oddly the rooms are spacious and super comfy.

Please have elevator repaired. My wife & I were on the 3rd floor today and wished to go down to check out and twice a cab came down and they were packed. Eventually we had to go up to be. certain we were not passed by the 3rd time.

Room was nice. Good view. Adequate size. Quiet. Check in was fast. Employees were courteous. Restaurant was awful. Limited menu. Service slow. Overcharged me with a tip added to Bill I did not choose and charged me twice.

Front desk very rude , 25 dollar parking fee per night, view was horrible ( bull dozers in front of our window) and breakfast not included!
We paid 150 per night and were def. Dissatisfied with the noise view and no breakfast.

The water came out of the shower yellow but the breakfast was good

The only place to stay for our trips to market at the Javitts Center. Leave your car at their lot and take the ferry over for 8 bucks. Nice VIP lounge on the 8th floor with a good breakfast. We've stayed there twice and will be back.

I could lounge in bed & have a great view of Manhattan.

A great hotel. Very accommodating. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. 30 second walk to the ferry to NYC. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location right next to the ferry to the city. Clean hotel and you get exactly what you expect. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Would stay again

Friendly staff and the location is great, only 10-15mins by bus to Port Authority without any traffic. A room is a bit old but spacious, well-managed and clean. And if you have a Manhattan view from your room, it's amazing all day long

Great location great amenities and super breakfast buffet.

I went to a friends wedding and there were only two servers serving a group of over 120 people. When some tables finished with their meal the two servers were still serving the other tables.

everything involved in typical hospitality was an extra charge including wifi. Overpriced to begin with.

a particular female guest services staff is rude, extremely unprofessional, i had a bad experience. shower is broken, after a long day when i got in the room and asked for shampoo and shower gel, waited for 30 mins, no one came up, called again, that female staff made up a story said the housekeeping staff knocked on my door but no one answered, i was eating in the room so i am sure no one actually came up, maybe because it's almost midnight that just don't want to work. and finally when i got the shampoo, i went to shower and discovered the shower is half-broken, i was so disappointed, and with a choice i will never stay in this hotel again, ever.

A bit dated. Views of NYC were spectacular. Conceirge lounge was pretty much useless. Open 24 , hours but no snacks, no alcohol and small. Very limited breakfast. Restaurant had a pretty limited menu with poor service. Positive, very convenient access to ferry to NYC and free parking.

The heated pool was out of service so that's definitely not good. But the hotel was beautiful & the restaurant was nice. There is not enough lighting in the hotel bedrooms. People we're basically eating in the dark as well in the restaurant at night time. The views of the NYC skyline are incredible. The neighborhood is upscale & very posh. Good atmosphere. Nice place for people to visit!

It was our second time staying here, definitely not the last time. Clean rooms and very kind and respectful staff! The hotel could use a renovation though.

Stayed for one night. Nice view of new york and room was pretty spacious. Would recommend.

Mariavillosa location, you can take the ferry every 15 minutes to NY and take excellent photos from New Jersey and contemplate the Hudson River and the beautiful Manhattan, excellent restaurants very close and the Hotel team is wonderful, I especially thank Maribel the Dominican lady They made our room very kindly and professionally.

Great view.... bad customer service... the room I stayed in had a really bad urine smell in the bathroom (yea of course is the bathroom) but the bathroom itself was disgusting .....pubic hair on the on the floor ...... blood stain in the tub..... the toilet had brown stains.....(manager was no where to be found) told the front desk and they were just nasty and told me they were gonna clean it up.... two hours later I came back to the room and nothing was done but sprayed air freshener in the bathroom...... check in is at 3:00pm dint get my room till 5:30pm.... go somewhere else .... just because is a Sheraton doesn t mean you re going to get a great experience.... save yourself a headache

Stayed here for 2 days. We were in the panoramic room. It was a pretty good view. The house keeper kept busting in our room though which was very awkward. First time she just walked right in without knocking and I was like are you serious? She just asked when are you leaving so I can clean. the next day she busted in again and was like oh whoops and left and then she came back again and busted in. I should have learned to put the deadbolt in.

They also over charged me for ferry tickets but when I confronted them, they gave me my refund.

Spent my wifes birthday here , 1/1/12 I had a lot of specfic requests and the staff was wonderful !!!!!! Even on NYE. The room was nice the view was incredible, easy way to NYC ferry ride right a front door. Best hotel I have stayed at

Great location and nice staff. But pretty dated and the lounge is underwhelming.

Rooms were standard hotel suite rooms. 20 bucks for a continental breakfast is a bit out there though.

For a Sheraton, my expectations are higher. The housekeeping crew were excellent. They only have a coffee machine. The location is great. Parking is $25 per day. Food options are limited but there are good restaurants near by. I will prefer an Airbnb next time especially when the trip is long. There is no laundromat. They do have set cleaning.

Paid extra for a city view. Should have verified what city. Looking straight out at the wonderful skyline of hoboken.

Good place to stay. There is the ferry to Manhattan from right outside the hotel. The tickets can be purchased from the front desk. You can get a very nice view of Manhattan if you step out, especially at night. But, I think it is very overpriced. Parking is $25 a night. Internet is not free for general customers. The breakfast is terrible. We made it a point to go out and eat breakfast. Hotel food is average but expensive. If you are going to pay $250 a night, I am sure there are comparable hotels in Manhattan.

Rude reception, the manager was not better, they are not willing to help, not COVID ready or prepared. Smelly room , old and poor view

Did not stay in the hotel. Area is nice, transportation could be tricky.

At check-in, it took the front desk employee over 20 minutes for their computer to be able to check us in and take our credit card, the manager had us move to a different computer which finally worked. The same employee told us we were in room 335 but as we were walking to the elevator, I noticed it had 1027 crossed out and 332 written above with a checkout date of 8/18 crossed out and 8/19 written above (reused a previous room key holder?!?) I walked back and she clarified our room #, we continued down a long hallway to the adjacent building and tried to use the elevator, the panel was very loose, it could be moved with your hand and it wouldn't work. I walked all the way back to the front desk and asked for the manager this time. She paged maintenance who was waiting to tighten up the elevator panel. However we were never told that the room key needed to be used to make the elevator work. I need 2 knee replacements and was very frustrated at having to stand at the desk for over 20 min and then walk back and forth so many times after a long trip, just to finally get into our room almost an hour after walking up to the front desk! The manager did not offer anything but a sorry as she sent us up the other elevator. The room was nice, pretty clean except for on top of the tv's and behind the curtains along the window sill, both had not been dusted in a long time. On the last day our coffee packs we're not refilled from the day before, I had to call 2x to get some brought up (took 1 hour)! Great location with the ferry within a close walk. For late night food and drinks there is a chain restaurant within walking distance open later than the hotel restaurant and bar. If you have any issues walking long distances, you should ask to be put in the main building. The staff that we encountered to purchase ferry tickets and the bartender were both very helpful with suggestions for traveling into NY city.

The restaurant service is quite bad.

It was alright but we had to go up and down to reception 2 times as our room was with another person already in there. Also there is no WIFI available for free, you need to buy it which is kind of wired as I expect that to be part of the hotel. But apart from this confusion it was a decent hotel.

Ok here's the deal we wanted to see the Macy's day fireworks display for the fourth of July 2015 the person we made reservations with said they would put us in a good room to see the fireworks and I confirmed with the person who made the reservations if the fireworks where still there this year. When we arrived they said that the fireworks was on the east side this year. The manager Amy was very polite and gave us a full refund plus a refund on parking. But I still paid about 25 dollars in tolls to get there & about 15 dollars for gas and time in my life that I'll never get back. Hey Sheraton when people want to book a room with you make sure that when they ask for something that's not happening you tell them. Once again thank you to the manager Amy for being great to us & poor very very poor on your reservations department. Yes we did get a full refund BUT, WHAT ABOUT MY TIME GAS AND TOLLS extremely not satisfied and I will be posting this on consumer affairs.

My experience began with a 1 hour checkin ordeal. I called the site I booked through, which had to call the hotel to get them to re-book. When I offered to simply pay for a new reservation now just to get checked in and be credited back once the reservation was sorted out, I was met with "sorry, our booking manager doesn't want to have to deal with the reversal later." Totally lazy if you ask me. Lastly, I can't believe a hotel doesn't offer free wifi in the rooms if you book through a 3rd party. I will never stay at a Sheraton again.

Saves time by not having to go thru the tunnel. Very nice hotel. Ferry ride across the Hudson to Manhattan can't be beat. View is amazing. This was our 7th year, staying here, on our annual Christmas in NYC, family weekend.

The location of the hotel is good, very close to a bus station where the 126 bus will take you directly to time square bus station. The rooms are very nice and clean. Front desk reception is always quick and polite. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in NJ.

Not as clean as you would expect. Also, breakfast is not included all the time.

Good view of NYC. Easy access to public transportation into the city. The downside is that the parking is $25 a day plus there is NO in room WiFi included in your stay. The cost for the WiFi is $10 a day and on top of the daily room rate and daily parking fee and makes your stay fairly pricy but that's my opinion.

They do not have free WiFi for guest and charge 10 dollars per day for WiFi access for paying guests in this day and age it blew me away considering you get free WiFi on airlplanes just a thought
