A great Scottish Afternoon Tea Experience indeed!! Very professional staff, very friendly, very welcoming and they take food allergies very seriously and helpful in guiding you what you can eat. Food is to die for and the atmosphere is just perfect.

Staff was helpful and welcoming upon arrival. Everyone we encountered as we walked through the door. to reception and the lounge was very friendly. Room was as expected, minus a few toiletries. Convenient to lots of shops, restaurants and transport.

Great location, walking distance to so many attractions. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Good food and nice room. One square bar is nice and chilled. Not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. The glass bathroom and toilet take a bit of getting used to.

My wife and I went for a posh date for a change and was disappointed by the service in the restaurant. I asked for a glass of red wine and I was served a cheap and nasty white and when the mains arrived, they were served to the wrong person. Not the sort of service is expect from a supposed high end restaurant.

We were at the one square restaurant. Was an extremely pleasant evening. The staff proactively approached us and informed us of a problem with our order before we even got round to asking why our food was taking a long time. we got offered a big discount for the night for the delay. Again without me requesting. So great service and sincerity. Truly appreciated. would definitely be returning.

it is a very nice hotel with friendly staff and cozy rooms. it would be great for business trips and adults traveling on thier own, but not so great for families. it has a pool but it is in their spa building and you aren't allowed to splash, it's mainly for paddling laps. the hot tub is an extra charge as well as any fitness area. the restaurant is pricey and it costs twelve GBP to park per day.

We really loved staying at the Sheraton in Edinbur...

We really loved staying at the Sheraton in Edinburgh during our trip through Europe. The room was incredibly spacious, the bed and pillows made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud, and the room service was to die for. Where it could improve is the service and the spa. While the staff was perfectly polite, they didn't try very hard to be truly kind or joke around with us. We've been through a wide variety of hotels, especially in Europe, and so far this was the only hotel where the staff didn't make us feel very welcome. We were quite frustrated because we really wanted to use the spa, but both nights we wanted to use the sauna, it wasn't working and to use the "spa" where there was a hot tub, you had to call to make a reservation (only a few people were allowed to use it at a time) as well as pay a $30 fee to only be allowed in for a short amount of time. One other thing that took away from the experience was that we were staying in an amazing 5-star hotel, but once again, we had to pay for something so simple as basic television. They offered a wide variety of movies to watch, but there were absolutely no complementary channels just to have on in the background. For such an expensive hotel, I shouldn't have to pay for something that even 3-star hotels offer for free.

Stayed here with my husband for a couple nights & our room overlooked the castle. Staff here were very helpful & friendly.

One issue I had was a jewellery trinket was accidentally picked up by housekeeping & staff searched throughly & returned it to me in the post - they were very apologetic.

Overall, I'd highly recommend.

Very friendly staff. I will improve with a nice Good morning, afternoon, etc. from the restaurant staff.
Rooms are very nice, clean, and quiet. We stayed at the 7th floor and the view was very nice.
Location is great, you can walk everywhere from here. We made it to the Castle in 15min.
I will definitely come back to this place.

The sheraton spa is by far the most relaxing and refreshing experience in Edinburgh city centre. Since the most recent refurbishment the rooms have been revamped and are more luxurious than ever before. Everything from the friendly warm welcome recieved at the reception through the immaculate and spacious changing and shower facilities up to the swimming pool and spa is a sensory delight. The thermal zone is cleverly laid out to promote peacefulness and each part has its own appeal. With hot rocks, tropical showers, salty sprays and crystal steam there is something for everyone. The outdoor rooftop hydro pool is iconically unique and an absolute must for anyone who enjoys a soak under the sky. Throughout all there is the aroma of the fine products, sound effects to furtherly enhance relaxation and you are wrapped up in lovely towels and robes. An absolute dream day! Without mentioning the list of treatments available and extensive menu at the restaurant. I am a huge fan of the one spa and highly recommend it to anyone willing to listen.

Great location, nice rooms, access to the big gym/spa from Club Rooms. Some rooms have views to the Castle, others just into the courtyard. Breakfast was medicore and staff there unkind. Overall still a good experience.

Really beautiful hotel for decor indoor and outdoor, our rooms had amazing beds, views, and the extra features like bath lighting and speakers around the room were excellent. The service was some.of the best I've ever received, especially the check in staff!

Disappointingly the room service food was subpar, possibly the worst food I've ever had in the city, whereas their normal Breakfast buffet was really quite good. The minibar charges automatically so you can take out the contents to look at them, and all the TV entertainment is extra, no free movies or access to streaming services!

This is not my type of hotel. Nothing wrong with it, but a bit too posh for my liking. I stayed there for a conference held in the nearby conference center. Therefore I did not have the opportunity to visit the spa. So I cannot give a review on that

This is without a doubt the best place I have ever stayed! The decadence is on point, throughout the hotel. Relaxation points, from room for 2 or groups of 10+ are available, whether checking in/out or just taking in your surroundings. Rooms are fab and spotless, With complimentary gowns and slippers. Our room didn't have a castle view but that didn't spoil our stay. Highlight of our stay was One spa, indoor and rooftop pools were excellent, treatments were available (but prior booking is recommended) the thermal suit consists of lots of relaxation rooms, saunas, and unmissable showers. Do it all you won't have regrets.
