Beautiful hotel with all the amenities and friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but filling with cereals, oatmeal, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruit, and freshly ground espresso.

They made us wait for about an hour and were about to give us a room with less beds

Crappy directions of where you can park. The place doesn't have it's own underground parking. Unless you valet. You have to park down the street! If you're handicap, your screwed.

Friendly staff, good service & nice decor. The lobby has an airport arrivals / departures board.

This was a great place. Right next to the airport just off downtown and a great price for only being there for a quick overnight before an early flight

Staff is very friendly. The room was pretty clean besides the right area like between the cushions under the bed, etc. The bathroom was an ok size and the shower had good water pressure with 3 settings to adjust to. The best part was beds that weren't quite queen sizes but absolutely one of the best beds I've ever slept on

Friendly service, waiter was also very funny while he took our orders.

Nice setting with tasty food. I had the ciopinno and my dinner companion had the waygu burger.

Clean spacious rooms helpful staff great location it's possible that you can even just walk to the airport if you need to the only minor complaint I have is that since it's so close to the airport you can hear planes taking off or Landing occasionally but after a little while you'll get used to it overall it's a pleasant experience and a great place to stay

Nice upgrade to the hotel but still very loud outside due to the airport. Also $48 for valet parking at a Sheraton is a bit steep.

Suite was fine, nothing special, but aggressively priced. Service, even on a slow night, wasn't great: bell hop took a while. Overall, however, despite minor issues, it's a great place to spend the night before an early flight.

Five stars based on accommodating our stay and having no hassles. Everyone working on the property was helpful and courteous. Stayed during the Christmas week and the place was warm and decorated. Very close to LAX. Restaurant and bar in lobby was nice and the food was very good. I would stay here again. Very reasonably priced.

The room is just another room. No bath only shower. Advertise with wifi, but its not free and there is daily charge. Parking is not free, also daily charge. What a rip off.

Hotel was nice. Pet friendly. But the elevators were horrible. Takes 10-15 min wait time from the lobby.

I had a beautiful room on the 9th floor for a 3 day 2 night Christmas get a way. It is the last Christmas with our daughter as a teenager before she leaves for college. Her words precisely! We were very happy with our nonsmoking room until our room was flooded with cigarette smoke from a neighboring room. My daughter has asthma and it became very uncomfortable. My husband said that it would be okay. He left for the front desk to report our situation and it was not 10 minutes before he was back with keys for our new room. What service. They accommodated us as soon as possible. I was shocked that it was so fast. We spent Christmas eve and Christmas in our beautiful room. We had a wonderful holiday and the smoking won't even make it to our holiday memories. We will be back Thanks Sheraton Ocean Gate!!!!

Checked in really fast at a normal rate, walking distance from terminals ( 10 to 15 minutes ). No noise or anything from the airport.

They wont let you park in the hotel they will enforce you t ok ed ither pay 50$/night or walk two blocks to park your car. gangs jobs
I am disabled by sniper shot in iraq while fighting terrorists and they have no respect for that . This will be my last time there.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Sheraton. The staff are friendly and any room service I requested was promptly taken care of. My room was comfortable and clean; everything was in working order. The pool and spa were clean.

The place is pleasant enough. Nothing to complain about wrt amenities afaik. Parking is abysmal.

Great location close to airport. Staff was aersome even though some minor miscommunication beteeen staff re: room service payment. Pool is awesome too

Recently spent a night on the Club floor the night before flying out of LAX. Booked the 14-day park-and-fly package, and it was a glorious choice. Made it for evening hors-d'ouevres which were also glorious. Shower had awful pressure, and the included liquid soaps didn't work, but the room itself was so wonderful that we didn't care about that small detail. Would always stay before flying out of LAX.

So we booked a deluxe room at this place for which they billed us 600$ ...this place charges 50$ per day for parking, there is no free WiFi and the breakfast is 26$ + taxes per head, the rooms were average, the only good thing about this place is the proximity to LAX....the staff wasn't welcoming at all....for a Sheraton with 4 stars this place is a disgrace....we shortened our stay and left for an AirBnb that was one third the cost and completely loaded.

Very nice. This hotel was a nice stay before our flight to Hawaii. Smooth check-in and nice lobby. Stayed on Club Floor and had access to the lounge. Snacks and an fancy coffee maker. Very comfy beds and fast Internet. Had a very nice gift shop with cool stuff. Enjoyed the free shuttle service. Only complaint was the Starbucks closes at 4 pm. I was really looking forward to an afternoon tea, but I got over it. Very nice stay and would do it again.

Super comfortable bed. Really nice rooms. You can hear the airplanes though.

The rooms, suites and all of the facilities have just been renovated look great.

Our room faced north and had a excellent view of the fireworks on Independence Day. Quite a spectacle!

They are working on some elevator issues. The rooms are nice and relatively quiet. You can hear the planes in your rooms, though. Also all room doors slam and you will know when your neighbours are using them.

So the rooms are really nice an comfortable, I give this an ok rating simply because there is no free parking, no free Wi-Fi seriously the most trashiest of hotels have free Wi-Fi... everything is at an up charge you pay to park, and if you want to exit and return to the out door parking lot that's kinda far from the entrance you pay... all these extras make this place not that great of a value.

Very bad service. Basically not enough staff. Be ready for long, long, waiting lines at registration or if you have an issue. Parking is far away, and they push you into buying their valet service. Rooms would need a bit of renovation too.

Avoid this hotel.

The Sheraton Gateway LAX - touts itself as "The Best Hotel at Los Angeles Airport" - a complete understatement - from the moment you step on property - the attention to detail - the level of service - the personnel, cleanliness, rooms, club lounge - restaurants. Everything here is perfect !

Actually I just drove by it but my passenger loves that place

I went to the Sheraton Gateway for a conference, and the event space was great. The room situation was a little weird, and the Brasserie restaurant had really poor service with overpriced overcooked bland food.

Rooms were somewhat clean although the staff did not check the drawers and fridge because they're was still clothes and food in the room.

breakfast is really expensive and isn t good. eggs looked undercooked. pancakes were hard and old. great hotel rooms. although he room was great there was terrible breakfast service.

The restaurant looked to have an enticing menu but fell short of my expectations in taste and service. The room is nice but doesn't offer much sound deadening from other patrons and jets from LAX.

Very close to LAX and our preferred hotel to stop at with kids. Clean and recently renovated this hotel has a great pool and hot tub.

The service was some of the best we have had in the USA!

Located very close to LAX. Free shuttle can take you to and from the airport. Hotel is beautiful, but not close to anything fun or unique. The conference rooms were extremely cold, so be sure to bring a sweater!

This is a good place to stay if you need a spot close to LAX. The food is pretty good, and the room I stayed in was clean. The only issue is that traffic is a mess there.

Clean room and comfortable bed. The shower head and water pressure was lame.

Needed some assistance to arrange for a taxi to come and pick us up. The front desk and lobby staff were more than accommodating and super helpful.

A great place to stay overnight. Close to airport, airport shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes to and from hotel, comfortable rooms, wonderful beds and pillows, and good facilities.

Service was great but, pillows are uncomfortable, and walls are very thin. Couild hear the couple next door to me having a conversation all night, and they were talking at a normal level.

Staffs are awesome, their customer service is an excellent. Let me check in at 10 am save my day.

Our organization hosted our annual convention at the Sheraton. The hotel was very prepared for the nearly 1000 people in attendance. Parking was a challenge, but that's the area around LAX for you. Look forward to next year.

The hotel and the view are absolutely beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. The Internet is fast. The shower is a little tight for more than one person, but it's lovely. A pretty view of the skyline. The food is over priced but the quality is spot on and I was satisfied with spending around 60 a day. The staff are lovely and if you park your own vehicle the lot is large and close. The shuttle to the airport is also a lovely convenience. Highly recommend.

Great hotel. Can easily walk to it from terminal. Staff very nice. Rooms comfortable and very quiet.

My children were evacuated from the Woolsey fired last night.
This amazing management welcomed my children and grand children
They graciously allowed them to bring their small animals in.
As well as giving the free Breakfast.
They said the hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable.
