Always a great hotel. Though I only visit during dragoncon, the hotel staff is extremely accommodating and always polite.

It's hard to work during such busy times but everyone went about their day with a smile on their face.

I've stayed at the Sheraton every year for an annual convention, and my experience has gone downhill so much that I won't be staying with them in the future.

Last year, my room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. When we complained, they sent housekeeping to spray the carpet with a deodorizer, but that only made the room smell of cigarettes AND air freshener. Upon telling guest services that this did not solve the problem, we were told that they had nothing else to offer because the hotel was sold out and we had to live with the smoke in the room. We ended up sitting in a friend's room for hours while running the a/c on High with the door open, just to air the room out enough to make it livable.

This year, my reservation was not placed correctly. I requested three nights, per the three night minimum. But on checking the reservation later, I found that they only reserved the first two nights. I called to get the reservation changed and was told that there were no other rooms and there's nothing that can be done. I later called again to cancel my reservation altogether and was told that it was nonrefundable by both Sheraton's corporate guest services desk and the location itself. Although *no*money* has been taken from my account yet and there is *nothing*to*refund*, they will not cancel the reservation. However - surprise, surprise - they said that now they have plenty of other rooms and could definitely add on that third night I had wanted before. (At this point, an extra night in this hotel is certainly not something I want.)

Ridiculous and unreasonable. Spend your money somewhere else.

I did like the service from the staff, however the furniture in the room was damaged upon my arrival and only one of the two elevators worked during the duration of my stay which was a inconvince.

I spent four nights at the Sheraton Atlanta and received excellent service from a professional staff that was led by the manager, named Josh.

I highly recommend the hotel based on this wonderful experience. If you are coming to Atlanta, you can trust the Sheraton and this great team.

We did not have a positive experience during our stay here.
They did not have the "Deluxe" room reserved for us so they put us in a "traditional room." Said they were going to "take care of us!" Agreed to lower the parking rate to $10 instead of $30 (turns out, free parking was supposed to be part of our package) and give us access to the "Club" on the 12th floor.
After checking in, went to our room. When we opened the door, we saw that it had not been cleaned (see pics attached - sheets and towels on the floor, old pizza boxes). Went back to the front desk and explained the problem (she apologized, gave us new room and two free breakfast coupons). That evening, we wanted to try the "club." However, the key would not give us access so we just went to the regular bar.
Next morning, we woke up to the sound of hammer drilling on the building and the sound of a person yelling like crazy in a room somewhere around us. The drilling and yelling both continued for about 20 - 30 minutes.
Left for the day and returned late in evening (around 10:30) and the room had not been touched (we did NOT put the do not disturb sign out). Bed was not made, no clean linens for bathing... Called for new linens which were delivered promptly.
The positive - The second room we got was as I expected. Clean and comfortable.
Overall, the service was the worst I've experienced in a long time. The people were nice and respectful, but just terribly run hotel.

Stayed four nights on business. Good check in. Room is none too big but nicely appointed, comfortable bed, clean, and a desk and chair set up that actually works. They followed up on how the room was as well. I'd happily stay there again.

They check us in next to construction on 4th fl. We called Reception and they told us no there is no construction. We have a video to prove it. Will send to the management. I feel that the Sheraton brand is tarnished. That location is full of people smoking drugs and homeless outside as one turns the corner. The food at the bar/resto is just okay for a southern place. Breakfast isnthe same even after 1 wk. Staff is okay perhaps not happy. Rooms needs some upgrading. Stayed because work put us. I wont stay if I have a choice. Monopoly.

Very nice hotel. Clean and quiet, and located at a convenient location close to several famous places for sight seeing, such as Georgia Aquarium, CNN Studio, World of Coca-cola, and Centennial Olympic Park, and you can walk to any of those places in 15 minutes. Food is very expensive as you can expect in hotel's on-site restaurant, but there are several restaurants near by, so if you want to save some money on food, you can eat there. Also Peachtree Center is literally across the street so it's convenient to shop in the centeror take the train to visit around.

Unbelievable that a hotel this large and with nationwide recognition is so inept at getting people checked into their rooms. Our conference was on the hotel calendar for two years. The attendees were registered and rooms paid for in advance, yet some groups did not get their room keys until midnight. Some students were given keys to already occupied rooms. What a nightmare registration has been. The employees in every other aspect have been extremely helpful and accommodating.

The hotel staff seems to be struggling to provide good service, even though the new ownership seems to not care about repairs or general upgrades to old equipment. Kind of disappointing for such a pretty place to fall into dark

The Sheraton hotel did not honor my reservation. I checked in the afternoon of my check in date, and the room wasn't ready. After several hours of waiting for a call back, I circled up with them at 9pm, only to be told they were moving me to the Hilton because they ran out of space... If I hadn't come to them, who knows how late I would have waited before finding out I didn't have a room. Horrible. Save yourself the trouble, cut out the middleman, and just go straight to the Hilton. They oversold, I felt lied to, and they've offered me nothing to make me feel like they want to make it right.

Small Bathroom, best shower head ever, comfy bed, big room, in my room no microwave, best hotel room I have ever been in, clean, and fancy! I was in room 1103 beside the elevators, I advise you to try and not get a room by the elevators because people that come to the hotel late after partying, you can hear them come up and down the elevators.

The only gripe I had was we couldn't check in early and had to downgrade our room to check in early. Otherwise, fantastic staff, they have been very friendly and helpful. The walk to Ignite isn't too far, a few hills, but we have free transit right outside the hotel to the conference. I would be happy to stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks It has thee worst front desk people in history of hotels. Danielle is a black woman that is racist. Carter is a wannabe manager with no education or customer service experience. Why would they put people in place that does not offer a great experience. Jeffery and Ms Shirley from the lounge has great concierge hospitality. I travel all the time and this hotel makes me dislike being away from home. The pool is . If you leave your dog unattended In your room, they send 10 security guards to look for you. Other than that I give them a -1 for overall experience. Any questions see Alexandria Dupont

I was under the impression this was one of the "nicer" hotels in Atlanta. Which is the only reason I'd want to give up free breakfast somewhere else. I needed a drink last night and after trying four floors vending machines, I gave up. They were all sold out or broken. No ice either, there's signs saying call the front desk. I called and asked about a drink and she said "no, there's nowhere to get a drink in the building" which just seemed INSANE to me. I'm glad I got to see the cool pool but I don't think I'd ever stay again.
