We booked a reservation for our family vacay. Relatives from the area warned us about red tide so we decided to cancel the reservation and stay more on the other coast. Cancelling it was a NIGHTMARE! The first time I called, Monica was completely rude to me and acted like I was inconveniencing her. Then I spoke to the bank who said the hotel in fact DID NOT refund the money like I was told by them. I called back to the hotel, and then spoke to a manager who was also RUDE! And he acted like I was wrong for telling him how rude Monica was! Like I was insulting his employee. In all reality, she had a horrible attitude problem and he seemed to be okay with it. After arguing about the refund, because he said it was processed, he interrupted me the entire conversation and blamed it on the bank. Needless to say, the bank has to dispute the charge and fight for my refund! What a joke. So glad we didn t actually stay there. I can t imagine it to have truly good hospitality considering they couldn t even be considerate on a phone call!
