Such a quaint venue, got to bring my wife there to see Stephen Fry for her birthday. Wonderful theatre

A very nice theatre! We saw The Hound of Baskervilles here, our first ever play. It was good that it was a familiar material, but the overall experience was great.

Marvelous grounds, great staff. Balcony is steep, like an opera house.

Wonderful place to visit and see some of the best live theatre out there now.The town is lovely and caters to the crowd. Lots of restaurants and pubs for a pre show or post show drink. The flowers and park settings provide a great way to spend some time to walk and talk.

Enjoyed the Glass Menagerie. Theatre in the round. Great performance. All seats are great.

Great show. Parking is $15 but you can park for free on streets nearby. All seating is great. Nice atmosphere. Found discount tickets offers online for certain performance dates. We saw magician's nephew.

Offers amazing theatre...say Mythos: the trilogy and The Orchard, both of which were superb productions!

a good experience overall. make sure you do your homework about the play you want to see; they sometimes like to experiment. that s not a bad thing, goodness knows we need variety. but don t expect a shakespeare play to be the one londoners shuffled to the Globe to see in the early 1600s.

The Shaw Festival Theatre always does a fantastic job with their productions! I've seen Sweet Charity, Sweeney Todd, and Alice in Wonderland. All of them moved me to tears. The theatre invokes deep feelings of passion and that can't be beat. If you're in the Niagara region visiting, definitely see what's playing at the Shaw Festival and check it out. You won't regret it!

Not a bad seat in the house. Intimate setting, great location. Lots of restaurants nearby, great performance!

Saw The Rope April 24th. It was absolutely amazing. The cast were incredible. So good. I recommend it to everyone.

Awesome show this evening. Had the pleasure of seeing Brigadoon. This is my third year in a row of coming to the Shaw Festival Theater, and looking forward to seeing next year's performance.

Play...THE Orchard.. was fabulous the food at the cafe was delicious.

Lovely theatre with comfortable and spacious seats. Brought my grandmother to see a play and had lunch at the cafe before the show. If you are driving from Toronto, I would recommend spending the night to break up the drive - we hit bad traffic both ways on a Sunday (no fault of the theatre of course!)

We are members. Few are the years when it is not worth the two hour drive to see one of their plays...or more than one!

My sisters and I took our mother to see Holiday Inn (it was a surprise for mom). The show was fantastic and we had a wonderful time.

The performances are entertaining and very well presented. Acting in good. Live music in the musical is an enriching experience. Saw Brigadoon and Rope so far.

Saw the Magician's Nephew. Great performance and acting. Would definitely recommend this show. The theatre is quaint and cozy with excellent seating.

Beautiful Theatre. Saw Brigadoon which was superb. Sat in seats J18 and J19 which were dead centre orchestra. Excellent view. There is a nice cafe featuring Niagara wine and salads, sandwiches, and other goodies.

Saw Stephen Fry in his Mythos at the Festival Theatre - a lovely venue with exceptional staff. The Shaw Festival & Niagara-on-the-Lake are must-sees.

The Studio theater is small and people seat around the stage. Bit its still a very good expirience

Lively theatre but ticket holders have to pay for parking. That's a bit much. Parking on the streets is free.

The production of The Hound of the Baskervilles was very enjoyable. The staging was excellent and acting was great. The play was long but never felt like it was dragging.

Great theater in every sense. The Shaw stimulates and relaxes me at the same time.

A great theatre festival in a lovely, lively, (and pricy) town. Production quality is always high .

Great show! I saw A Man and Some Women with my wife. Definitely worth checking out. The performances were excellent and the story was both humorous and somber.

Not enough superlatives! Everything inside and outside the cottage was there. The cottage is perfectly designed with 6 bedrooms and 3.5 wonderfully appointmented bathrooms. Our group of 11 had plenty of space to be together or off on our own or in smaller groups. Want to have a fire? All the wood, kindling and even marshmallow sticks were right there. See a bird you can't identify? Yes, there is a bird book.
Anything and everything anyone would need to prepare a gourmet meal was easily found in the well appointed kitchen.
Dock was set up so we could go in at the shallow or the deep end. Loved the dock furniture, especially the gravity recliners.
We spent almost all our time outdoors but if the weather had not cooperated there were plenty of places to hang out- a games and TV room, the great, really, really great room, and sitting area that overlooked it.
I could go on and on. Can't wait to go back! See you again soon we hope.

I love theatre of all kinds, the Shaw Festival delivers

The "Lady Killers" was hilarious as the cast had impeccable timing in this classic spoof. The set was brilliant.

Saw 'The Orchard' beautiful adaptation of Chekhov's play to a Sikh immigrant family in the Okanagan.

Great experience! We saw Brigadoon, it was amazing! Our first visit to Shaw festival.

Theatre doesn't get better than this. Tim Carroll ('TC') is doing an incredible job bringing audiences closer to the theatre experience. Secret Theatre is always fun. If you are a local you can get a season's pass for a great deal . Great actors. Great theatre. Dont miss A Christmas Carol in November/December!

Saw Magicians Nephew with the family ...excellent production ... a real gem in the region ..and Niagara-on-the-lake is always wonderful ... an uplifting experience!

Coming here 8th straight year. Never been dissapointed. There are always great performances, very good actors and overall atmosphere I adore. Recommended it to all my friends, they are coming here now as well.

The magicians nephew was magical. My 7 year old grandson was totally captivated.

Just watched Brigadoon, the singing, acting and sets were amazing. Sight lines seem to be great from almost any seat. Amazing show, my wife even cried.

Love the festival! Always enjoy the shows. Seats are tight and a little unvomfortable; food and drinks somewhat overpriced; and be sure to bring a sweater or jacket-it's very cold in the theater.

I attended Shaw Festival to see a friend who is in their 8th season with the company. We saw Sweeney Todd, and was fortunate enough to spend the evening with many of the cast members after the show. Their camaraderie off stage confirmed the camaraderie on stage. The joy that the actors feel while performing together was clear and apparent. Looking forward to seeing another show next season.

Modern theater with high tech stage capabilities. Avoid balcony seats if you need above average leg room

St. Joan was a powerful play with playful humour. Well produced, directed and acted.

Saw Grand Hotel at Shaw Festival Theatre. Absolutely fantastic!

FANTASTIC!! A great festival to visit. Been going here for a long time. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. Usually they have a wonderful selection of works to offer. The festival is in the pretty little town ofNiagara on the Lake a beautiful place to visit and look around. Very busy in summer & parking can be a challenge. About 1 1/2 hours from Toronto depending on the traffic on the QEW.
