I love going to the beach and then stopping by Sharkey's for a bite to eat. Friendly staff. Good food, fantastic atmosphere!

Waiter was exceptional. Great view! Seafood nachos were tasty.

Pretty good food. Nice live music on Friday evening. Great location and view of the pier and gulf. Nice stroll at the pier and beach.

Food was okay. Everything was a bit pricey. The service is not bad. Kids burger was super dry. Filet Mignon was a little plain.

Good environment, but don't get the seafood rainforest. I got the rainforest, but no seafood.... well they gave me 2 scallops and three shrimp.. so I guess I was expecting more. :(

Sadly it was so busy the wait was 90 minutes and we could not stay.

A must go modern. Awesome people, 2 restaurants, fishing, boating snorkeling, beach buns great place!!, family oriented. YOU HAVE TO GO!, PURCHASE A HOME THAT HOW MUCH I LOVE VENICE.

Over priced food was pretty good but they jammed 6 of us into one booth. I said never again.

I wasn't impressed with the food at all or the pricing of the food. I would have been satisfied if the prices were much lower for the quality of the food or if the food was much better. It is a large and busy complex, they can not handle large parties well, and don't take reservations. The 2nd star is purely for the view, which is brilliant, especially at sunset.
I'm sure there are better dining establishments in the area with equally good views, search them out.
I hate to use the words tourist trap but one can consider Sharky's just that.

Was recently in Venice for a wedding. We visited Sharky's 3 times. Great service particularly from Brandon. Brandon mentioned he had relatives near where I live in Illinois. I had the Baha Tacos with blackened swordfish one meal. I had the Lobster stuffed Flounder a different night. the third visit we all shared apps and they were very filling. Bushwacker is my drink of choice!

Great place to watch the sunset and have some drinks. The food price tend to be a little bit high for the quality and quantity of the food. But still a good place to spent the evening. There is live music also there is souvenir store.

Great food with great service at an amazing location. We were on vacation visiting family and decided to hit the beach. Saw this place shimmering above the sand like a mirage and headed towards it. Glad we did and you should too if you are in the area.

Me and my family went to Sharkey's yesterday (11/19) we were 14 people and went to sharkey's to celebrate a birthday.

They set us at two round tables that sits 6 people each and we decided to join them together, because since it is a birthday, it makes no sence to sit half of the party in one table and the other half in an other. When we set them together we could roughly fit 10 people. We asked the server if we could join an other table, and she kindly said that she would call a manager to solve the problem.

The manager came by and said that unfortunately he could not join one mora table because the restaurant was under a wait, which is understandable, but at the same time there was no effort (at all) to make things right.

As we talked and waited for the food we saw that the tables around us became empty but there was still no interest from part of the management or staff to add an extra table to out table.

Food came and we ate bumping elbows with each other while eating, the table was set so thightly that one of out guests had to eat with the plate on his lap because there was no space on the table for him to eat.

The food was pretty good but the lack of customer service was evident. The manager and staff clearly don't understand the lifetime value of a customer and how much a first impression can be worth. I hope they learn from mistakes.

By the way, this is the first bad review i've ever had to give someone. I would'nt recommend this place to a friend, specially if they are planning on going in with a big party.

Sharky's is a fun place to eat. Most of the food is fried. Alot of the pictures are of Fin's which is more upscale and located on the second floor of sharky's. Fin's is more expensive but worth it if you are on vacation. The sunset is priceless.

Wednesday afternoon, 20 min wait for seating almost an hour for our food. Waiter not real friendly, food was blah. Pricey for basic lunch items. Wouldn't recommend or return.

Upscale beach food, but not worth a two hour wait as their often is. I'm always more than happy to have the excuse to head upstairs to Fins, but that is much more upscale with both food & prices.

Had an incredible experience at Sharky's last week. Don't usually leave a lot of reviews, but the service was so outstanding I felt compelled to do so. Our server, Wade, made our evening super special for me and my family and we definitely recommend dining at Sharky's!

Sharkys is fun, good food, great staff, only problem is the crowds.

I had made a reservation for new years eve on shark's on the pier for a family of 3 and i had driven 2 hours for the restaurant/event and when we got there we went to the hostess and he could not find our last name on the list. I had confirmed a day prior and reconfirmed a hour prior by calling . The hostess sent us to the restaurant next door that they are associated with to see if they placed our reservation there, getting there they said no that we were not on their list i went back with my daughter and husband and the same hostess had found our name crossed out on his list. We felt very disappointed and frustrated. They also served us drinks at the dinner table in a plastic cup till we decided to leave before the fire works.

Love this place visit it every time we come to Florida,the view is amazing going out to the pier is a must and Tom the guy at the bait shop is the best

Service was great. Food was good but matched many other places. Food/ earned a 3 star. Food good but not over the top.

We walked past 2 sets of hostesses on our way in to sharkys. Once inside, I asked the manager where we should go to check in/get a table. She laughed at me and snorted, "you gotta do that out front." As we told each of the 2 sets of hostesses "out front" where we were going, do ya think ONE of them could have mentioned that? And the manager was just flat RUDE. We went elsewhere, and enjoyed it. You should skip this place too. They are a bit full of themselves.

Food and service was great! Atmosphere is what makes this place a must. Right on the pier. Watch the sunset while you eat and listen to their live band.

Sure, it's on the water and that is special, but do yourself a favor...buy a 6 pack, a sub sandwich and enjoy the beach that way. $20 for 3 small frozen drinks (1 was virgin)... Yikes!! The food, not good at all and be prepared to sit in your bathroom for a while afterwards. We will not be going to Sharky's again.

Your outside bar is poorly managed.The bartenders should be fired.The bald-headed big guy that's been there for many years it's so rude and unprofessional and he has never if you give him a $1 tip or $10 tip said thank you he's a bully and I can get a petition of (50) or more people mostly women that will say how rude he is.Surely you have noticed overtime exactly what I'm referring to and if nothing else you should have spotters that buy and see his reaction and how he acts other than that Sharky's is a great place and your Fins restaurant is a Winner and everybody seems to be very nice. Some of your bartenders outside or unbelievable rude and especially ungrateful to your customers and if they don't get a large tip and they never say thanks especially the big bald-headed guy. I'll be glad to get a petition and bring it to your headquarters or have my secretary to type it up and have it overnight express to you.YOU ask for held. Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. Happy hour prices can't be beat

It's been too long since I've dined at this Amazing restaurant on the beach. Lobster stuffed Flounder was delicious, beyond expectation. Service by Andy was excellent as well. Justin the owner visited our table and was very engaging and hospitable. Thanks for the great experience Sharky's

First time here. Fantastic view, food, drinks and service. Will return!

Food was bland and flavorless. Only good part was the view. Definitely a tourist trap. Not for locals.

Must see if in Venice. On the beach. Great food, beer and cocktails along with an atmosphere hard to beat.

Walk the Plank!! Amazing and delicious. Edamame salad to die for. Yummy all around.

Had a lovely lunch here today. We both had the Deck Runner...frozen and yummy. My love had the sriracha chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. I had the lobster salad on a croissant and it was delicious. Lovely view of the beach and the pier.

Worth the 15 minute wait for a table! A favorite of mine for grouper, and try to be there for the sunset. Service is good, and plenty of outside tables.

Tourist destination. Great for looking at the gulf. Price vs quality; mediocre.

We visited Sharky s on the Pier on a Saturday and Sunday night in March. Saturday we sat in the upper deck because the view was nicer and there was no wait. After we got our food we never saw our waitress again and had to chase down another server to bring additional items and then our check. The following day we tried again hoping for a better experience because the food was really good. We again sat in the upper deck hoping Sharkeys would redeem itself with better service. The hopes were quickly shattered. After sitting down and waiting 20 minutes (we timed it this time), my wife went down stairs endlessly searching for a member of the wait staff to take our order. She returned defeated. The server said he was in training and couldn t take any orders. Finally we were able to wave down the server only to be told she would be by take out order. It never happened. We eventually left, frustrated and hungry and went to Venice to get dinner.

Pricy small portions reminiscent of an old fryer grease and as an extra flop the waitress stuck her fingernails in each piece of fish when describing which was which. Unbelievably bad.

But be careful, they will ask you to leave once you finished your dinner :(...

A great dining experience with the family. Service and food was excellent.

Hot beer, horrible rude service, overpriced frozen food, never again. If it wasn t for their beautiful location, this place would not exist. When I asked for a cup of ice for my hot beer the waitress brought the manager who apparently couldn t offer a cold replacement beer, she offered a mix drink, which I don t drink. And when my husband interrupted our conversation asking for a glass with ice for his beer she very rudely replied I heard you sir, I am still talking to her though . We just literally started our vacation so I refused to allow her to ruin it for us. Absolutely gorgeous beach, bring your own food, do not waste your money or time at Sharky s.

Go there every time in Florida. Bar tenders are great!

Good food, great server, a bit windy, however server suggested patio seating. Very nice with Gulf view.

One of our favorite places to catch a beautiful sunset. Everything about Sharkys on yhe pier is inviting and fun! Very family oriented
