Beautiful place overlooking the pier and the ocean, but lousy service, we left after two waiters had already passed us three times without addressing us. We were there after Irma, so only 4 tables seated

I have came here around 5 or 6 times, and I have always been disappointed with service until today. Steven M was awesome on top of his game!! Wow refilled drinks, checked on if he had honey. He definitely made the experience better than I was expecting.

beautiful place. Always great service and great food. The beach atmosphere is always wonderful and the convenience of it makes it a smooth transition from food to fun or beer to beach. Definitely a family favorite

This place is great. Very romantic at night. Just a whole lotta fun. I took my date there and we had a blast. Live bands. You can walk onto the beach. The pier is huge and there's great regular and shark fishing here.

Caters to tourists. could care less about the residents that keep them running out of season. Service poor when table only offers two patrons. seemed like waitresses and staff only attentive to large number guest tables. Saw rat scurry under tables also on deck

I was dining at Finn's at Sharky's Pier. Elegant cuisine combined with an added treat of a Florida sunset over the Gulf of Mexico providing a very special evening. The menu choices are outstanding along with great service. Finn's is my favorite dining location directly on the ocean when I'm in Venice.

To start with there are pigeons all over the place they walk on your feet don't wear sandals pigeons are very dirty and they carry disease I can't imagine why they're allowed to be here there are signs around that say don't feed the pigeons but people feed the pigeons and I would imagine that's why they keep coming back cuz these pigeons can't fly there so fat the seafood I had scallops it was fair it was average for the money I thought it was overpriced but the view was beautiful that I have to admit the servers were excellent the wait time was long we waited about 45 minutes for an outdoor seat on a very windy cold day in March sand blowing all over the place they did have plastic curtains up and it curbed the wind some but they should have a better enclosure for the kind of money that you spend on the meal

Been going here for years but a "first" tonight. There is a "seat yourself; first come, first served" policy for some of the tables. We take a pager for the waiting list but if one of those seat-yourself tables becomes free, we'll take it. Did this tonight but after seated briefly, a "manager?", (not wait staff), came over and asked us to leave the table because some other couple felt they had been waiting longer!! What??? He said there was a "line" for people waiting for the "seat yourself" tables! Since when?? Very unhappy about this encounter.

Dec. 29, 2012 Excellent Food....started with a caesar salad then shrimp and crab au gratin. My husband ordered stuffed flounder. By far the best meal we had in Florida over a 3 week vacation. Walked out on pier after dinner and it was great. Also, sister company in Port Charlotte "Joe Cracker" has the best cheeseburgers and fries. If staying on West coast of Florida you must go or make the drive. It's worth every penny.

I didn't eat at Sharky's so can't comment on the food. It stayed crowded and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food and drinks. I liked the pier and being able to walk out to see people fishing and what they were catching. The view and ocean were awesome.

Food is way over priced.
But at least the waiter was a cool.
Guess I'll go to Bonefish next time.
Only good thing is the sunset.

This is a WAY nicer restaurant than it used to be as it has been 6-7 years since I've been there. Of course the prices have gone up also, dramatically. Anyway the food was good and the servers were friendly so that's good enough for me.

Food, drinks, atmosphere and service excellent! Only negative was we went last Thursday during red tide and I felt terrible for the host. She was right in breeze way sneezing, coughing, wheezing, teary eyes and very difficult for her to breathe. I know red tide occurs and it can t be helped but maybe mask for host or rotating the host out. The 2nd host was just slightly effected by the allergen but the other was close to needing medical treatment. Other than that great amazing place for date night or to take family. just steer clear until red tide is gone if it effects u!

Maybe the worst place I have ever been to in my life and I ve been in many third world countries. The management there were rude when asking a simple question. Not one employee knew what was going on. Certain sections were reservations only and empty all night. Half of the VIP section stayed empty all night. Outside dining area was fend for yourself, but watched management kick people out to seat others. Completely will never understand the rest of my life how you shut half the outside tiki bar to create lines for drinks over 30 minutes. There were about 60 employees working that night busting their ass and trying to provide great service but management made the whole place look like a new business owner just opened a bar for the first time. There were lines everywhere and bleed out inefficiencies. Owners need to do something with the place or sell the business. It s a disgrace. The owners are clearly not there to make money and is probably just there to launder money. Bet the know some local politicians too.

FOOD: The JAMBALAYA was WAY to spicy, but the Summer on the beach salad with blacken Grouper was over the top delicious. The reason for only 2 stars was due to the waitress. Everything was great until we asked for a to go box. We asked that we place the food in the box but she continued using her hands to pickup the food from our plates and place it in the box. Covid or not a server should NEVER touch guest's food.

Dinner options were adequate along with the fresh catch of the day. Took a chance on the Swordfish and was very pleased. Daughter got fried shrimp that was great as well. Plenty of fried and grilled options to choose from.
