Sun set are awesome from Fins and above Sharkys. Good food and service. Just plan to wait awhile around sun set as everyone comes at that time. Plan ahead come early have a drink and relax. That is your reward for working so hard to be able to come here.

Went to Sharky s today for my husband birthday Don t know why all the bad reviews! We had a delicious dinner with John as our server! He was fantastic, very attentive made sure we had what we needed. We loved how they remodeled the place, beautiful bathroom! From the beginning to the ladies that gave us our paddle to the gentleman that seated us everyone was so pleasant! Will definitely be back!

Conveniently located to grab some food after a morning of shark tooth hunting. Food was good, drinks were tasty, service was excellent.
A tourist trap if there ever was one - always a wait for rather nondescript food, but i suppose that it is an institution in these parts, as it is at the start of the fishing pier and right on the beach...
Update: it's been a year since my last visit and we decided to try it again. I'm pleased to say that the rude bartender was not there and we had a wonderful time! The food was pretty good too!
This is a really fun place. The water was very warm and relaxing and the food at the restaurant was delicious.

No, I didn't have the fish & chips but I annoyingly stuck my fork into my boyfriends plate a few times. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. I had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the fish and chips, and I am literally drooling just writing this.l It was soft, fresh, and battered to perfection. The drinks were great and they had live music. We were facing the ocean so the view was stunning. The service was also very good. You can't go wrong with this place! I promise.

Still the same great location, but growth in the last few years has taken its toll. If you're looking for a place to sit and watch the waves roll in, this is your place. The service was still good, but the food seems more generic than a few years ago. Nothing special. Beer is good and cold. Tropical drinks are from a frozen drink machine and are limited in variety. All in all, good service and nothing more than fair food at a price a little higher than the food justifies. The saving grace is the location.

well been coming there for 20 yrs was there last week a man waited on us he was rude after 2 drinks we were cut OFF and was told if we were done eating we needed to leave other people are waiting for a table not only has this happend with the drinks before we are over 50yrs of age you will not treat me like a kid we are DONE with you sharkys for good daiquri deck in venice got are bussiness and was treated like humans and not like we are a bunch of kids and drunks. pretty sad eat and leave what a way to run a bussiness .

I tried a new fish on the menu tonight. It was hogfish with Panko with melted brie and mangoes. Melted cheese on fish was a first, I believe for me. It was okay, but nothing I would order again. My husband ordered fish tacos and the fish was good, but scarce. He said it should have double the amount of fish that came them.
Didn't eat at this place, but fishing off the pier is fun
What a great spot! Day or night. Sharkys or Fins upstairs for some fine dining, I thoroughly enjoyed my several stops here. Very clean beautiful beaches also

Great location and a nice place to go if you're a tourist or have out of town guests. For locals? Overpriced food and a view you can get for free nearly anywhere along the coast.
This is a must stop in Venice. Many tables right on the beach, service was excellent and the food is great as well. Very nice waiting area on the upper deck where you can have a drink with a perfect view. Expect a 30 -40 wait, but it is worth the wait.

Was amazing!!! Visited for a few days and spent time on the beach. Finally went to Sharky's and was not disappointed. Of course, the view is beautiful, but the waitress was super friendly and pleasant (dont remember her name but she was from Kansas lol) food was delicious (filled up on starters and took main dishes to go), drinks were strong, delicious and did their job. Will def return if I am in the area.

Love the Restaurant and atmosphere. Every time we go to Venice we eat here. Love everything we have ordered for dinner. We ordered Captain Morgan frozen pina coladas and they were to die for! Perfect on a warm evening! Perfect location on the beach at the pier...so much going on and to see!

This place is great for the ocean views. The pier is awesome, a great place for sunsets. The food is so-so, overpriced for what your eating. Go here for the experience, but I'd eat somewhere else.

This is strictly a tourist location and what a ZOO it is!!! A friend suggested this place for lunch and in all the years I ve lived here, I d never been... and it was exactly what you would expect from a tourist trap. The crowds of people and the noise and confusion. If you re on vacation and you ve come to Florida to party, then by all means, GO but we were just looking for a fun, peaceful place with a good view of the gulf and great food. The food was oooooverpriced and so-so and the beer was WAY overpriced ... I mean it s a Bud Lite, it isn t a fancy craft beer for God sake! ...It IS on the water so I gave it an extra star.
