Perfect location but online menu didn't match location menu so they didn't have what we were planning to order. Frozen drinks weren't very good either.

The jalapeno poppers are DELICIOUS ! They have a smoky flavor and we had to have another order. They're so good, we're going back again today. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. Very relaxing with great views!

Love Sharkys. Have for years. Good place to take family...

The view is wonderful, the restaurant is ok. Under construction and no one seemed to have direction as to where we should sit to place a take out order. Then the manager was rude because I said it was disorganized. There s another restaurant on site that is a little more pricey but worth the money. Food is better.

The atmosphere is 5 stars, the service is 3 (because its slow but still with a smile), the food is somewhere near 4. We liked everything but thought there could be just a little more flavor in the way that most super touristy places get.

A must visit for first Venice restaurant visit and visitors. Trendy, very high end section up stairs. Does have wheelchair access, an elevator and sunset views. Outdoor seating with sand between your toes bar area. Weekend entertainment. A must for the seafood lovers among us.

We actually attended a wedding dinner at FIns at Sharkys. This is a place one must stop 4 lunch or dinner. Right on the beach. Ambiance was wonderful, food to die for and waiters very attentive. Will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend for any occasion.

Great view and absolutely horrible service all around and will NEVER go back! Large crew cut guy at walk up bar gave attitude cause I wasn't standing in proper line. Waitress hounded us to order 4 different times in 15 mins, last time she rudely says "hey there's a 3 hour wait and you need to order now!! We got up and left so she got nothing!! Wait on those you have already, not those coming later!!
Rude as hell!

What a fabulous setting! What could be better than having lunch on beautiful Venice Beach? Make sure to walk out to the end of the pier after you eat. There is a little gift shop about half way out there. Service at the booth right on the side of the beach was casual and prompt. I had the shrimp and chips. The menu says everything comes with a side. With this one you don t actually get a side. It doesn t actually come with the fries. You have to choose the fries as your side then you don t get a side. So your the shrimp and chips is really just shrimp. You have to use your side choice if you want the chips with your shrimp and chips. Shrimp batter was tasty but the shrimp was in the small side and dry. Use lots of tartar sauce! Atmosphere was beachy. The place is tired and in great need of a deep cleaning. Not acceptable for the prices and reputation. It s a beach place, yes, but that s no excuse for letting the place go to the ground in dirt. Sharkeys needs renovation.

Nice place to eat while at the pier but bring extra money. $ 25. For a fish sandwich is a little much.

Although they were closed due to Covid 19, the sandbar was amazing on the beach.

The waitress seemed more concerned with a fellow diner with the amount of alcohol (apparently you're not allowed more than three shots or five beers) She said $25.00 of alcohol per person. What?, than actually cleaning up our table and giving us good service. Those plates have been sitting there for 30 minutes done. The food was excellent but the service from our second server was horrible. We moved from the first table which was good service to a larger one because of friends coming. Not only are we dealing with an infestation of love bugs, which we understand, but a waitress that does not like her job? 45 min later love bugs in ranch still in ranch cup. Can't give a 1 star on 1 server, but just a bummer on Memorial Weekend.

Fantastic dinner, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful views... the spiced fish nachos were the best EVER!! Krysta, our server, was absolutely fabulous. Great spot for drinks and family. Highly recommend!

Overpriced and waitstaff not very friendly. Heard the waitress tell the table behind us if they were done eating and wasn't feet in anything else, they would need to leave because people were waiting to be seated. Terrible

In the pouring rain had 2 pina coladas they were strong believe it or not they were great , amazing bar tenders.....

We had the best waitress yesterday. (Jocelyn) Unfortunately she got in trouble for taking good care of her customers and keeping them happy. Which we weren't pleased about. It seems one of the other waitresses was mad because we bought some beach bread to go but ended up eating it there in a spot that wasn't where we were supposed to eat. SHAME on the other waitress for getting all upset because Jocelyn was trying to keep customers happy. And shame on the manager that reprimanded her for it. After our 1 1/2 hour wait to be seated we had the most excellent food!!!

Meals were small, prices WAY to high, and the service was horrible. The inside was so cramped to sit down, was not clean, and staff carrying food nearly knocked my son down. Obviously it is a HUGE management issue. I work too hard to tolerate all of this just for the view. Sit on the beach, bring lunch, and pass on this restaurant. Not even their renovations can fix the internal deficits noted by so many of us.

Spectacular view outside front deck. Great for a exclusive date. Place has on point seafood right off the pier!! People are absolutely friendly and very helpful for first-timers! Mahi Mahi is best choice (personally) served with an edamame salad.

Make sure you bring your wallet food not that great way over priced. There are a lot better places around and cheaper

Nice location with great views. Really nice staff. Ordered grouper bites with fries. Fries were good but the grouper bites were over cooked and a bit crunchy and soaked with oil. Couldn't taste the fish, only the oil.

Went there for a picnic that my dad's work had it was very nice

Great chicken salad wrap sandwich plus the coleslaw was crisp and tasty!

Loved the view it was amazing I had a nice cold Mango Bango drink I did not order from the menu I felt the prices were too high

While the food was good, service was terrible. They billled my credit card and then insisted that the transaction was rejected. I had to give them another credit card and then contact my bank to get the charges reversed. The owner was contacted by the credit card company and was told about the mistake but he still would not apologize for their mistake. Arrogant!

We came in March during snow bird season, they don t take reservations then. It was a 90 minute wait. We just went two nights ago with reservations for 7 at 7pm. We probably didn t need them but we had great seats outside. It s covered in case it rains.

Great food great atmosphere and service was also good. Fantastic view! Very cool place. Quite pricey. 2 grouper sandwiches, 3 drinks $95 including tip.

My first time there and I was not impressed. Service was not good, beer was served to us warm. Chicken wings were over cooked. The place is fun and the location is great to sit outside and watch everything. I will give it another try just to make sure it wasn't just the server.

Drinks are so GOOD! Try the mango bango! You wont be disappointed! Fun atmosphere!

Water tasted dirty and food was subpar and inadequate.

Bartenders outside by peir, not very friendly or personable. Outside seating full of screaming kids and all tables very close together, not enjoyable atmosphere. Overall for what it was, food quality and quantity was not worth the price. There are over a dozen other restaurants you can spend your money at, that will be much more satisfying.

Great place, but service is not so great when crowded.

We were actually upstairs at Fins restaurant which is the fine dining restaurant as opposed to Sharky's which is downstairs. Sharky's is very popular, casual, crowded in season and decent in terms of taste, portions, etc. Service is not as personal as upstairs because of the crowds. Also much less expensive than Fins. Both are right on the beach and boardwalk.

Amazing food, service, view and drinks! Best place in the area by far!

The place was a bit overpriced but it s definitely the nicest place to eat in Venice beach. The view is great and so are the drinks. Fun place to eat with friends.

I have been here many times but you know what, you have to earn my business every time. I had reservations for outside during lovebug season. I expected a much better arrangement. Covid is a concern but where is hand sanitation? None. I observed the same cloth clean three tables without returning to sink. Yuck. Dead bugs everywhere and the lack of covid planning. Sorry, stay clear for now. I love this place before but really do your customers a favor and get it together. Get hand sanitizer out for customers. Clean tables better. Love bug season is over but still you should have told me how bad it was and suggested inside dining.

Food is still good, but not excellent like 5 yrs ago. Wait staff cordial, not friendly. Small indoor seating area. Outside roof leaks when it rains.
