Incredible food, view & service and my Family could not be happier!

Awesome environment!!! It is right on the water with a beautiful pier. The band that was playing, Chameleon, was amazing. The food was pretty good too.

Often crowded but for good reason, great food and view of the Gulf!

Why do I love this place? Scenery I dare you to send me a better Beach picture and the continental US while sipping a mai tai at the bar! Can't be beat !!!

Always great food (I recommend the grouper wrap). Great atmosphere, right on Venice Beach. Friendly staff, fast service even on a Friday night. Live band on weekends. I recommend making reservations as this is a hot spot especially on weekends.

What a great place. What a view. A good variety on the menu. Can stroll and watch people watching fish. Just A great pace to get away.

We had the rudest waitress in the world. THEY WILL NOT MAKE ANYTHING THAT IS NOT ON THR MENU AND APPEARENTLY ACCORDING TO CRYSTAL THE WAITRESS "THE CUSTOMER IS MOST DEFINETLY NEVER RIGHT" cute atmosphere but after our experience they lost 17 customers. Unfoutnetly the 4 kiddos with us didnt get their ice cream they were suppose to with the kids menu. Shame on management. Dont go here, you have been warned

Great restaurant overlooking the Gulf and a pier. Nice menu with gluten free options. They don't take reservations and there can be a huge wait, so make sure to plan accordingly.

This place has it all. Solid beach, great sunset views and killer food. For many in the area, this place is a tradition. For good reason. The drinks are quality, the nachos are massive and the service is always friendly.

Things have declined in the past few years. Food isn't as good as it used to be. Very bland and sloppy. Prices are high for everything. A lot of smokers in the outdoor area which is usually the only place you can get a table. A lot of pigeons roaming around the outdoor eating area, too. Seems like that should be screened in or something to keep the birds and lizards out.

We had the lobster and crab for 2. Only $52, reasonably priced. Great service, good food although the lobster nor shrimp were cleaned.

Very popular location - even off-season. Please order table before. We had to wait 45 minutes. It was great. Food goes from small Appitizern to the expected good fish. But our Staekfan was thrilled. So make sure.

I've eaten at this sharkey's many times and it used to be one of my favorites. I seriously hate to leave a negative review but our experience was pretty bad. The waitress acted as though her tip was predetermined and, by george, it was...18%. Explains why our service was so bad.

Good food and atmosphere. Prices were a little on the high side.

Allowed to use the restroom from the beach without question and it was ridiculous clean.

Sat at the bar by the waitress station and couldn't help but notice how every single bartender was on point with IDs. Extremely impressive! They obviously value their jobs and respect the owner.

I wish i could give this review half a star! The food was over priced and flavorless. The customer service was even worse. We had a waitress call after us to ask why we didn't tip after having to constantly ask for refills and fake smiles. The manager as well didn't seem to care a about our complaints. Never going back to this place!

Fantastic atmosphere right on the beach with a perfect view of the sunset. Food is average, service average, crowded popular place. Live entertainment at night but plays too quiet into the night after dinner hours. Busy place. Go for the sunset.

Sharks is a little overrated as a destination eatery but the atmosphere is pure Florida. The overall quality of the food is nothing special. Although fairly tasty, it is what it is, beach food-fried fish, fish salad, fish tacos and decent nachos. The four stars are really for the atmosphere, the pier and the staff which is very good. Many people choose to eat outside near the beach but if it's windy, inside is preferable. Can be pretty long wait time for a table on the weekend or while the snowbirds are there but look for shark teeth and walk on the pier to pass the time. All very cool.

Excellent food great service. Beautiful sunset view. My wife and I spent our birthday and 4th wedding anniversary here and had an amazing time.

Arrived at 12:30pm on a Monday. It was very busy. We had a choice of a 30 minute wait for an inside table or 45 minutes for an outdoor. We chose inside. The wait staff were all very friendly and our waitress gave us suggestions and plenty of time to decide on lunch. My wife had the Grouper wrap, and I had the deep fried clams. Good size portions as we both took some home. Fairly priced for a place right on Venice Beach. Would definitely go back.

Shrimp was dry and over cooked. The fish was over cooked. The free bread was the only good thing about this restaurant. I will only go back for the bar and that's because it's on the beach and the only option. Very disappointed

Only place I have ever fished with dolphins.
They jump in waves and out of the water and hang out at the end of the pier in the morning.
Ospreys were perching on the wind tower. Beutiful place, not real buisy, a extremely peaceful experience.

Lobster salad sandwich a disappointment...was told it was the same as the old lobster roll of years ago but was nowhere close...a scoop of something over 2 slices of tomato on a hot dog bun Yuk!

Poor customer service at the Tiki Bar! Friends and I had 2 drinks and then they had shift change with bartenders. Asked to remove our sunglasses and then was told we would not be served!! Really???

Atmosphere was ok and location was great. However, food quality and service were below average. The fish and chips was average, and my daughter ordered the kids shrimp; which was awful. Would not recommend.

Horrible place. Confusing with different seating areas. Overheard rude staff talking to customers. And the prices are outrageous. They really stick it to the tourists. We did not stay. Went somewhere else.

Would give more stars if I could. Fun place. Good drinks, food, service, and view of the water. Very casual.

This was the fish and chips...
Sweet potatoes.

We were there last night for a friends birthday. Our waitress Helen was as nice can be.
However from the minute we arrived at the reservation hut we were treated very poorly.
Everything was a problem.
Three of us ordered salad. I can tell you those salads were old and soggy. We are done. I don't care who wants to go there. Fins is no better. My only recommendation is to try and keep the locals happy.

Low cost, good food, good service. Fins is better if you want a really great meal but Sharky s is good value, perhaps more family friendly.

The food was great but 3 out of the 5 staff I interacted with were rude because they were "too busy". The first was the server who rolled his eyes several times after our family asking about food that was ok for certain food allergies. The second interaction was a sweet female busser who politely took a picture of us (our families flew down from MT and MI to be together for 5 days which rarely happens). The third was when i was trying to stand to the side while getting a close look at the live band and a waiter came up and rudely said "I need to get in here" referring to the shelf behind me. The fourth was when i asked a waiter (i think) if he could take a picture of our family or who would be best to do so and he quickly and rudely said "all of the waiters are busy closing down...ask a bar tender". So i went to the bar tender (fifth interaction) and he apologized for what the waiter said and said "that guy is normally nice, sorry it's been a hectic day". He nicely took our family picture and was fun about it.
Once the place started emptying our waiter became more interactive and kind.
But other people in my family said they had interactions that were also rude.
Solution: hire more staff

The food was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. The view was gorgeous, even in the rain and the service was great! I would recommend to anyone who isn't on a strict budget.
