Food was great, seating was quick, and the staff fantastic. Brought the in laws in for a late lunch, was not disappointed. Garrett , our servant was fun and energetic. Made the experience that much more worth the visit.

Great spot on the beach in Venice. Casual dining at Sharky's & very nice dining upstairs at Fins! Always very busy.

We had a fantastic time here. We had a large party and they were very accommodating. Our servers were fantastic and the food was delicious.

the place stinks, literally, flies all over, pigeons on the floor, projectile crapping in flight, the manager acts like a femi-nazi applying her former military experience, illegal immigrants in the kitchen, food is overpriced, often old and leftovers the music has Mexicans singing dirty songs, restrooms smell like urine and managers and staff clueless, the list is endless

The view is beautiful looking out over the water. The waitress we had was amazing and the food was so good. I will for sure be back.

It was over crowded and customers were not social distancing. Servers all wrote masks. I was told when I called this morning that I didn't need a reservation for lunch, just walk on in. We waited 45 mins to be seated. We had a nice waterside table and an ok waiter. Food came out hot and plentiful. Tasted good too. All in all it was only an average restaurant experience

Exellent service and food. Great location right on the beach. Highly recommend this for lunch and dinner.

Great food! Right on the beach! Only downfall is the seating, you have to either literally fight for a table, or take a pager and wait forever.

Great view of the ocean. Fresh fish, tender chicken, fairly priced food. I enjoyed it a lot. there was a little bit of a wait, but it was the day after Christmas and there was a lot of tourists. There are indoor seats and outdoor. They have u wait by the bar and pier and give you a buzzer. The buzzer will buzz and there is a pirate statue that you go to when it buzzes and they may call you by your name and table number if you dont go right away. It can be a little confusing at where to go at first. At the bar you can order drinks while you wait. One alcoholic drink per person (because of ID purposes) and after 6pm there is a sign that reads "proper attire required." Id recommend coming here, its highly enjoyable with the ocean, theres great service, and the environment is welcoming and relaxing. Enjoy!!

The view alone gives Sharkey's stars. A little pricey and a favorite tourist spot, but good food and service.

Had the fried shrimp and yellow rice. It was great!

The food was very good, but the weather was very windy and cool. Also the the red tied was in and we all had a coughing reaction to it. When it's been nice out, I is beautiful.

Shawn at the outside bar was very helpful and provides great service.

Sat by the beach. Very casual dining, service was excellent. There to meet with some old friends and we were not rushed!!

With tip spent over $100 for 3 people including 4 beers in that bill. The person who had scallops said they were excellent. My dinner and sisters dinner I will give a Big OK. When I am spending that much money I want more then OK. The worst part was its June and if there was AC you certainly could not tell. We booked indoors because of heat, and realized outside was cooler then indoors. It didn't help that tables were packed like sardines and so the heat and crowd made it that much hotter. My sister looked like she jumped in a pool she had sweated so much. Also asked if there was a view of the water from inside, well not really unless you stood up and looked. I MIGHT maybe go back to the bar or lunch OUTSIDE, but probably not.

Great for kids. My mahi sandwich was tasty. We always have a good experience at Sharks.

Can't beat the view! It is very busy this time if year. They are well organized, have plenty of staff who work hard to supply friendly service. Food is always good.

Good food but couldn't get in on New Years Eve. I understand it was busy but the hostess had no idea what was going on. Additionally, when I called ahead, i was told I just had to wait to get a seat. When I got there, a totally different story.

Very nice spot especially the outdoor seating. However the food is not bad but is certainly not worth the price. I got the famous fish sandwich with slaw and it was honestly not incredible. The bread was a little soggy and the fries were lukewarm. I wouldn t be so picky if the prices weren t several dollars more per item than I usually like to spend.

Best beach atmosphere. Food varies based on what you get. But the beach and the atmosphere more than make up for anything

Been here lots of times. Just a so so meal. Seems like it's gotten worse over the years. But still a beautiful place to watch the sun set.

Really nice mains and desert. Didn't have a starter. We finished just in time for a sunset on the beach.

We stopped at Finns and the service was beyond slow. Also we were told we could not order till a certain time and only sushi, yet other people were getting orders that were not sushi.

This was a Friday night. They gave us a 75 min expected wait. At the 50 mark I asked how things progressed. I was told them maybe 30 min. We got seated at 110 min. I get some of this cannot be foreseen. But this isnt a new restaurant. They are established a 30 min blow estimated wait is excessive. If we was given a 2 hour wait for the start not a chance we would've stayed.
Finally seated, wife ordered coffee mainly for the warmth to offset the cool breeze from the ocean. Coffee never comes. Tried to order an appetizer without onions. Told I couldn't they come with onions so deff not made in house.
Kids pizza was brought to the table and the dough was raw.
Kids meal also included a desert. I asked what the desert was, waiter proceeded to tell me it was whatever the chef prepared for the night. It ended up being a generic ice cream cup with whip cream on top.... just an overwhelming poor experience.

Pretty good pub food ... Moderately priced.... Excellent sunsets: priceless

Great location on the beach with plenty of outdoor seating. Mostly a tourist trap. Food is decent at best and service is hot or miss. Plan on waiting 30-60 minutes for a table.

We love Sharky's!! Every time we are in Nokomis we have to stop here. The food and drinks are good and the view is amazing! Love sitting outside on the back deck watching the waves roll in. Definitely recommend.

We both had the sauteed Thai shrimp and chicken over rice with a ginger and peanut sauce. Excellent and more than worth the price.

Beautiful property, wonderful laid back atmosphere. The food was good, we had the conch fritters, beach fries for starters. Ordered shrimp with grits and pork lollipops entrees. The service was great, no complaints. There was a wait for the table but this is to be expected, no issues. The only complaints I have would be the pork shanks were not prepared correctly. "Pork shanks, which come from the front leg of the pig, can be chewy when cooked incorrectly. When prepared properly, however, they become succulent and flavorful" source Food and Wine. These were chewy and not very good unfortunately. To be prepared well these need to be cooked properly, which takes time. The cocktails are very small, but that's probably the biggest moneymaker for the restaurant. Overall, I would definitely visit again!

Food was amazing. Service was great. Drinks were on point.

Shark bite (Malibu rum and blue caraco) and crab stuffed mushrooms were awesome, staff is super friendly, great place.

Great food. Amazing atmosphere. Right on venice beach at the venice fishing pier. Hang out on beach and pier then go have a nice dinner or cocktail while wathing the beautiful sunsets over the gulf.

If I'm being honest I didnt go here, but I was on the beach next to it, with my now exe, who broke up with me on the beach, I'd guess it's good food tho

Cracked glass cut lip and incorrect order.

Fish and chips were good although a bit pricey, they were very busy so service was slower, but was expected due to the crowd.

The service here was especially good due to a less than stellar crowd. I enjoyed a
couple of specialty drinks and a quesadilla. Both were good.

Been there more times over the years that we can remember. Never had a bad meal and always have had excellent and friendly service.

Such a fun day we spent on the pier, at the beach and eating dinner.
