They walked past my table 20 times with all 13 of our cups empty and didnt ask if we needed refils, they took one of our 6 person tables so they could sit 2 people, they took our food before we finished, and the best part, they force an 18% tip whether they are good or bad.

Expect to wait 2 hours. But the pier and drinks make it go quick. Food is good!

The food was amazing!! Several vegetarian options, staff was awesome and helpful. Location location location! Right on the beach and pier! I can't wait to go back! Visiting Venice from Minnesota, a friend recommended it to me!! Great start to my vacation!!

Extremely disappointed with the BIG HEADS and the ARROGANCE that is present with the manager s and staff. They seem to be, very much, too full of themself now that they have expanded the business. So much so..that they have forgotten that not EVERYONE that eats at their establishment are one-time vacationers that come in and might enjoy the experience and then are on their way back home or are snowbirds. They seem to have forgotten that it's the locals that have gotten them to where they are today. Is a local for many many years had an extremely horrifying experience with Apparently one of the managers today. Therefore I, as a local, will never again patronize their establishment. And they also do not understand the meaning of a disability or service animals, Etc. Shame on you and adios. I will not take any of my vacationing friends or family to this establishment either. There are much too many great establishment to choose from, other than theirs.

I had a bloody Mary and tasted like it had fish in it. I'm a bartender and can do way better than that

After much praise and boasting, I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the menu offered little that I would even consider edible. I ordered the "Riptide Shrimp" appetizer, which was frozen, prebreaded shrimp w a little duck sauce on it. They even managed to mess up French fries w some weird dill sauce. I wouldn't let my dog eat here and if you're smart neither will you.

My favorite and only place to eat when I'm down from Ohio, since I'm limited with my celiac. Staff it's AWESOME, atmosphere is a straight party and the view, doesn't get any better!!!

Enjoy a walk on the pier and some good food, and the frozen drinks are supposed to be pretty special. Very busy during snowbird season.

Sharky's is the perfect beach bar. Large menu selection, good drinks, live music in the evenings and right on the Venice pier at the beach.

Had an early dinner, the food was good but I thought a little over priced, nice selection of draft beers. Our outside table had a spectacular view of the beach and the gulf.

This is one of my favourite spots to dine while in Florida. Even though Ia not a seafood person, I can always look forward to one of their delicious steaks - they use a special oven...i dont know all the details, but it is amazing. My fish loving family really enjoys the sushi. Above it all, the butter is unbelievable. Specifically the citris one...I dream about it. It is that good.

I strongly encourage you to call at least 1 week, if not 2 weeks in advance for a reservation. Beautiful way to watch the sun set.

This is a hidden gem. Incredible views, great infrastructure, good food. I have tons of options closer to where I live, but I always end up in Sharky's.
It has direct access from the beach, which is pretty useful in case you want to grab a quick bite, use the restroom, etc.

It's beautiful and sunny from water is warm and my little girl is having such a wonderful time

Very disappointed in the new menu ... hardly anything broiled that didn't cost twenty-five and up mostly fried options. We really love this place but now we won't be coming back

Our waitress Nicole was simply, the best. She waited on our table quickly and professionally. She is quite personable and informative about Sharky's menu. We have never had a bad meal at Sharky's. The atmosphere is amazing. A fantastic view of Venice beach and the Gulf. Thank you, Sharky's. We will definitely be back.

Fun place to meet family and friends. Grouper sandwich is awesome.

Right on the beach. Nice in the evening. It's open seating. Great view. We started with shrimp and crab nachos. I had the clam chowder and my teammates had the stone crab claws served cold. The claws appear to be fresh and my team said they were tasty. The clam chowder was thick and creamy with well cooked potatoes and loaded with clams.

It s not about the touristy restaurant (expensive, typical seafood fare), it s totally about the pier. Just refurbished for $750k following Irma s battering, it s a gorgeous piece of work. Board after board of Brazilian Walnut which looks and feels like teak. Saunter out into the middle of the Gulf of Mexico on this beautiful structure and you ll certainly be entertained by heron and pigeons, of course. If you re lucky you ll watch both pelicans hunt fish from above and dolphins do the same from below. This pier is a treasure. Don t miss it.

Fun place! Had a good meal (the spicy shrimp), a little on the expensive side but that s what you get with a good location

Relaxed, pleasant staff and attractive surroundings, as well as good food. This was our first visit, but we will go back again.

I'm not sure about all the 1 star reviews, but I didn't think it was horrible, but it wasn't outstanding by any means.

As stated by others the service is below average at best. Our waitress has little to no personality, but after meeting the manager I can see why the service was bad.

As for the food, we shared the Ahi tuna appetizer. It had great flavor, but the size was very small. We both had the Thai Chicken and Shrimp and it was outstanding. Unlike the appetizer you got a generous portion. I didn't think the prices were out of line for seafood.

The view was outstanding and the band was very good. I would go back again.

Food was excellent. Dylan B our server was very attentive and great. We sat on the patio due to wait times. He made sure to bring us a cool towel to keep our 2 month old cool. Very thoughtful.

Fun place right on the beach. Parking can be touchy due to people going to the beach. Not one of the best looking beaches down here. The restaurant in season even at lunch can be a wait. Finns is upstairs and not as busy but a bit pricy.

The food was okay but this is definitely an overpriced tourist trap. I had an okay evening with my friends but probably won't be going back terribly soon...

Strong service and a varied menu with an emphasis on seafood and booze await. Indoor and outdoor dining are available.

I recommend the seafood nachos. There's plenty of shrimp and lump crab meat to be had, cheese, beans, salsa, guacamole and pico de gallo. It's way more than one person can eat. My wife said the Thai salad was alright, but felt that Panera did just as well for much less. We also tried their much-bragged-upon onion rings. They were fine, but again, we'd had better. They were a bit oily and, as with most offerings, on the high side of pricing.

Atmosphere was very nice. Fabio our waiter was very helpful and polite. We had the 3 course meals which were very bland. They were the chicken dish and the steak and shrimp dish. Overall a nice evening out with friends.

We went to see the sunset and found a great spot upstairs at Fins. This was a very romantic place with great food and creative cocktails. The service was professional and friendly. The sunset did not disappoint. Will go back every visit to Venice.

Went there tonight for my sons birthday, the food was very overpriced. I got the fish and chips for $18 and i got three pieces of fish that look like fish sticks and a half of what the kids fries looked like. The onion rings had to have been sitting under a heater for awhile they were greasy and soggy. Our drinks were terribly flat with no carbonation and were $3 each, they didnt even offer us refills. The only good thing was the pier. All in all the service was mediocre and the food wasnt worth it .

Food that will give you heartburn the service is just okay. The only reason it gets two stars is it has a coupe here and it's free. Everything else is overpriced!

It was very disappointing evening going there to eat . It was our one night to celebrate our anniversary before returning home. It Took forever for our table to be cleared, my chowder was cold, was given something not ordered etc. the manager tried to make right which was appreciated but still felt I picked the wrong place to eat let alone celebrate such a special occasion .
