Two different Resturant s Fin s is more exquisite dinning & Sharky s is casual, beach, fishing off the pier, music, & dancing.

Coctails and a nice walk down the pier. Not over crouded...

I m not sure why this place has so many 5 star reviews. I ve been there a few times, and each time the food was disappointing. Last time we were there we had the fish and chips and it was so tasteless and rubbery. I want to like it because the view is great, but every time we go we pay waaay too high of prices for bad meals.

Amazing location, good food - VERY busy.
You really can't beat the location and the ambiance of it all. Almost like it's out of a movie. The new addition is a bit swanky, but adds to the diversity of it all.
Grab a few drinks and watch the Sun set (maybe go there via UBER to be safe).
If you're in the area, you have to check this out and make sure you walk to the end of the pier. You may see Sharks, dolphins, or....an old Sea Hag.

Not very welcoming. Teenagers at hostess stand not paying attention to customers. One had to tell other one to address us? Waited when restaurant not full. Food was good. Wait staff get job done , but not real friendly. Worth a 1x trip, not worth returning.. a touristy trap.

I really hate to give a negative review of this place, because the location right on the beach by the pier is terrific. The food was good and very overpriced, but that is to be expected with the location ($19.50 for 2 fish tacos).

My main complaint was our server, who basically hid behind his mask with one word answers to all of our questions regarding the menu. All of the tables received bread before their meals, but we had to ask for it twice before it finally came 10 minutes later. Drinks were not refilled, and we just never felt welcomed at all.

It's a shame, because my family made this our last night of vacation dinner, and it definitely did not live up to the hype. Again, the food was good, but the prices were high and definitely not justified by the level of service we received.

I had the baha tacos. There was plenty of fish, but the filling was a little light, making the taco a little dry, although they did taste good. I probably won't order them again.

Great food and service and, of course, the best beach view ever.

The food was good and waitstaff was attentive. Prices were reasonable. We hung out on the beach while we waited for our table, it was great. The devices they give waiting guests do not work on the beach though, we had a friend hanging out at the bar that got us when it was time.

We ordered drinks, sea scallops entree, coconut shrimp entree and stuffed mushrooms. All the items were delicious !

I highly recommend Sharky's and would visit anytime I'm in Venice!

I've eaten at sharky's every year for 22 years. If you come to eat, you need to experience the drummer. The fish is always cooked to perfection. The service is always great.

Overhyped and overpriced!
Sharkey s used to be a solid 3-Star beach bar, but it certainly has changed. It earns one star, but the location gives it an extra star.
Very few seats have good views of the water. If you sit at the bar, there is a great view of six old, monstrous, ugly frozen drink machines that block the views of the ocean.
The service is below average.
The food is okay, but way overpriced.
The drinks are very weak. Do yourself a favor and order the overpriced beers so you don t get doubly screwed on the overpriced and weak mixed drinks.
If you have ever been to Rick s Cafe in Negril, Jamaica, a 5-Star beach bar, then you know exactly what I mean.

Nice place great views, very tourist friendly...very expensive, food was good though, staff was great. Yes I would recommend this place to visiting folks.

There were four of us , each ordered lunch. My friend and I split an entree, it was more than enough. my husband had a lobster sandwich on a crescent roll, it was soggy. Our fourth friend had chicken wraps and liked them very well. We would go back, get there early.

Food was great and so was the location . We were lucky to arrive at the right time, we were seated immediately.
Well worth the trip from Zephyrhills .

This is a really nice place if you like fish it's small but it's quaint its well kept good mannered people friendly it's right on the water it's got a good menu it's got stuff for kids and for adults arrange and priced as well

This pier is great, but after hurricane Irma hit it was damaged and is closed now until it's fixed.

Every time we visit this area of Florida, we must stop at Sharky s. The food and service are very good and affordable. The wait can sometimes be long but you won t mind. While you re waiting feel free to take a stroll down the pier and enjoy your surroundings. We have seen so many cool things while waiting. We have seen Dolphins, baby sharks, and even a few stingrays. Definitely a must place to dine.

Food was awful. I don't know what happens to this place. You would basically just go for their atmosphere only. The food is just terrible and overpriced for how terrible it is. Well, two out of three meals were terrible. One of the meals, somebody said they enjoyed their flounder.

The wait staff appears to be very over worked,cranky and tired. Not sure why but they don't know how to talk with kindness to customers. They should change the name to SNARKYS. Been going there for 20 plus years and I can't believe the treatment . Food and drinks are good but beware because they dont care how they treat customers. Will not be back and we live local!

Our go to place on the beach! The food is good, drinks are cold, and the view is amazing (especially at sunset). They often have live music out on their patio. It's a great place to hang out.

Yum! We stopped by Dec 5th of 2020 for a curbside order we both got the Mahi Mahi rice bowl, and it was fantastic! The fish is cooked beautifully with a generous portion, we walked a ways down the beach and ate it so it was fresh. Wade was polite and helpful in taking my order and I could tell even tho they were busy he was sure to get my extra side requests in (the dill dip for the fries is really good, order a second side of it!) wish I lived closer so I could make this my new spot!

Took my daughter here for our first time and was really impressed with the service and atmosphere. While it was too windy for us, so we sat inside, we still got to hear the music playing outdoors. I tried something out of my normal range of liking which was hogfish covered in Brie with a mango salsa, and I have to say it was very tasty. Prices are a bit high and this is a higher end establishment so don t expect it to be just another beach bum tourist bar. All in all great experience!

Beautiful indoor and outdoor tables. Absolutely stunning view. The food was fresh and spectacular. The service was on point. The prices were a little bit above average I would say but worth it for the quality.

Horrible service horrible food and drinks have zero alcohol in them. The hostess- the heavy set one with a snotty attitude made us wait 1 hour for a table and never mentioned the outside tables with the umbrellas were 1st come first serve. Plus we were there with a toddler, so waiting 1 hour was extremely painful at best. I must've seen 5 open tables while we waited. I got the feeling she hates customers, she seriously should be fired.

So disappointed!! This used to be one of my favorite places! The atmosphere is always great however the band that was there was terrible last weekend. We used to dance and have so much fun! Not sure if this was just an off night or what. I also used to really enjoy the food here but it has gone way down hill. I think ever since the addition of Fins the quality of food has really declined. My husband had the Grouper sandwich and it was so small. Sad small! Also the ant flys dive bombed our table! Ruined whatever food we did have left. I can say that our service was very good. We had a large party and they were very patient with us. I will always come back here just because of all of the memories we have here. I hope someone will do something about improving the food again.

Have a wonderful time whenever we can get there. Jersey shore people and closest vibes we have is a business called The Patio, but no beach. Great water views and seafood restaurants too.

Very good fish, friendly staff, and beautiful setting. If you're in the Siesta Keys area or surrounding area, make the small trip to Venice Beach and eat at Sharky's on the pier. Grab some great family photos on the pier and watch the sunset. Wonderful place.

If you can grab a seat at the bar outside for a pina colada or your choice of daiquiri I recommend it. ENDORSED.

Horrible place to eat, food was horrible, soggy batter on the shrimp, the beef tip skewer was cold and might have been served raw. Service was horrible and rude and the outside bar tenders if that is what you want to call them are rude and disrespectful. Stay clear of the over priced so called sea food place. Don't waste your money.

This place is awesome, bring your camera. Take spectacular pictures.

I make a yearly stop here. Reservations are hard to get. You have to show up and make them. It is worth the wait though. It's a touresty place to eat but the food is good and there's a beach and a pier to waste your time at while you're waiting for your table.. My daughter and me just walked the pier. If you're in a hurry probably not your best bet but it was my vacation.

We've been to Sharky's several times. Usually we go with visitors who have never been. It's a pretty location along the beach and pier. The food is pretty average at slightly above average prices. I can't recall having an over the top memorable meal nor a really bad one. The tiki bar in back is a nice touch, but usually pretty full during meal times. A 45 minute wait here is common, so plan ahead! Flexibility of indoor vs outdoor seating is convenient in case you want some AC. It's kid friendly as well.

A very good seafood place with reasonable pricing that's on the water and has a very good menu selection. Outdoor seating is also available. It would pay you to call ahead or to make reservations because it could get very busy at times especially during the peak season.

From someone who don't like seafood, this place was amazing!

The atmosphere is a 5 star but unfortunately the food was a 3. I spent over $150 for my adult family of 5 no drinks. We ordered 2 steaks medium and well done. Both were well done. The coconut shrimp was over cooked. The salmon was dry. The staff were not very attentive. I didn't and don't complain to management. I still gave a $20 tip because poor service is not the staffs fault it is managements for not training or having proper oversight. I let my feet do the talking. Will I go back... probably not.

You won't be disappointed with the sushi here. Delicious
