The food was excellent! My swordfish was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was phenomenal. Our server, Angelica was outstanding. The only thing that was a bit off putting was they other service staff pulling the fans away around 9:45, which made for a uncomfortable end to our dinner. The food, atmosphere, and service made up for it.

It was OK, but nothing I would recommend. The wait (outside in serious heat) is long, the food was mediocre, and the prices were high. Our waiter was clearly not in the mood to wait on us, as we saw two other waitresses telling customers about the specials, and being generally pleasant, while our waiter did not tell us one thing, and he was kinda snotty when I asked if the fish & Chips was with french fries or potato chips. His answer was "We aren't in Europe", as if that tells the story, but I'd been in a local restaurant last week, who bragged about how their fish & Chips came with home made chips, so I don't think being a FL restaurant = Fries, automatically.

I ordered the fish & chips (fries), and my fish was bland, with zero salt on the fries. Hubby had a roll-up sandwich, and loved it, but I tried a bite, and it was not great in my opinion. Taste is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.

If you don't mind the heat, and can even find the place (misleading signs, and poor directions from the employees will get you a tour of the entire premises before you find your way in), I hope you get a different waiter, and perhaps your food will be better. Mine was not worth the price paid.

Waterfront prices, but not a great view from inside. Just other customers, and umbrellas from those willing to sit out in the heat.

A little pricey for the food choices, but I imagine you pay for the atmosphere. The atmosphere gets 10 stars. They told us 75 min wait and it was only 35 min. But not a bad area to be if your waiting for a table.

Since I was vacationing here, I went on a locals recommendation to Sharkys. This place was packed on a Friday night - there was thankfully no wait time for two indoors though! It is a little hard to find (a bit winding - follow the parrots to get to Sharky's!) but once you get there, they expect you coming via head set. It was nice to know we were in the right place at least!

The place itself looks cool, but is a little small for indoor seating. My husband had the lobster flounder and I had the swordfish tacos. The waiter was amazing and very prompt with everything.

As I am allergic to shellfish, I cannot speak for my husband's meal, other than to say that he enjoyed it (sorry folks - that's all he gave me). I liked my meal too, although it seemed rather plain to me for $17. It was good, but the most exciting things about it were the lemon wedge they served which zazzed up the meal and the view of outside. The price may be worth it if you sit outside, but that's what you pay for - the lemon wedge and a view.

It's a nice spot to meet people for lunch or dinner, but I think you pay for the appeal of a beach side meal - great experience all together, but the food was good, not great.

Always fun to go to Sharkey's. The crab and shrimp au gratin was delicious. The pier is beautiful. If you go in the evening plan on an hour wait, they don't take reservations. In the afternoon there is no wait in my experience.

Beautiful scenery! Overpriced. Not nearly enough food for the high price. Wait staff was nothing to brag about. Ordered the Porterhouse steak for 2. I had water, he had iced tea. Just over $103.00+tip what?!

I took a friend there yesterday. It was very busy. But we were still seated upstairs at Fin's in 10 mins . We sat outside on the deck which I highly recommend. What a view of the beach ,the pier, the gulf just beautiful. A absolutely perfect day ,sunny ,blue sky's just beautiful. The food was delicious. The price was what it is for any of the restaurants down at the beaches. But this is so much nicer. The service was excellent as well. Very frenidly, timely . Go and enjoy.

Great location. You can walk the pier while you wait for s table. It was 45 minutes for indoor dining and 90 for outdoor on a Friday night at 5. They accommodated our family of six and had a children's menu. Good was good, but not exceptional. I would certainly take guests visiting Venice to Sharky's.

Food was great, cheesecake awesome! U have a choice with inside seating, or outside. Great view of the water. The pier was being fixed when we were there so we couldn't walk it, but it was still fun.
