This place is definitely one of my Top 3 favorite restaurants. The food is great, the ambiance is perfect, the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and on point. Any time of the day is the right time to go to, especially when the sunsets.

It's pretty good but pricey for what it is. Your paying a premium for the location.

This place is the perfect setting. Even if there's a wait you can walk the pier to kill time. My kids loved it. Good food.

Ocean view while having a cocktail and lunch! Nice breeze great service and healthy portions of food! Drinks were nice also!

Enjoyed the seafood options and found some good vegan options as well. The wait for a table was made more enjoyable by taking a walk on the pier. The sunset was phenomenal!

We were super excited to dine here, but we feel like it's overrated. Sure, the pier is nice, beach is clean, and it is a unique setting, but the food is not great and service was subpar. Go there to soak in the atmosphere and maybe get a drink from the bar, but that's it. Also, the bathrooms were horrible.

Always a great view, wonderful waitstaff and good food. A little high on the price...but it's on the beach.

Beach front deck. Lots of outdoor seating. Bar. Great foot and laid-back atmosphere. Great place to chill.

Decent place for a meal and a drink. I love the fact that it s right on the beach which sets the mood. However, the drinks and food are mediocre at best, and when driving there, you think you re headed to the middle of nowhere.
I ll be back, only because there s not much to do in Venice.

Food was fantastic! Have a gluten free menu. Seating is great. Our server was personable and a nice sense of humor.

It was beautiful. The food was great! The service for the most part was awesome. I'd give it a five... but the servers were lined up against the wall. You could hear them gossiping. They were not being foul. It was just awkward.

It was very crowded today and the wait time was worth it. It's a little pricey but no more than comparable places directly on the beach. The appatizer was very good and the drinks were good.

Appears to have the potential for a great atmosphere, you need to ask to be seated in the real restaurant section. Not under the wedding tent. Food was good. Good beachfront selections. Wait staff left something to be desired.

Doesnt open until 1130am, from the outside it looked good. Cant rate it cause we were hungry and couldn't wait.

Great location and good service, but the food is mediocre and the prices way too high. A grouper sandwich was $20.

An extra should out...Great, cheerful service from Mary! Food was delicious! Drinks fantastic! They accommodated a special order for my husband's Celiac Disease. We will continue to support Sharkys and all of their family restaurants! Thank you!

9 of us enjoyed first rate food and service. Beach party, seafood nachos, Grouper sandwich, jambayla, chicken fingers, awesome frozen drinks. Can't beat the views. We will return !

Great food, great drinks, great location, this place has it all!

I have been here many times. Simply beautiful and tremendous food. Right on the Gulf and long pier with incredible sunsets. Took my parents there a lot. Pushed them over the pier in their walker and wheel chair. Great memories that will last a life time. Thank you GOD. for allowing us to enjoy those times.

The waiter was excellent, but the food and drinks were bad and the price was super expensive.
Don't waste your money, there are much better restaurants out there for a better or similar same price.

It would have been 5 stars if the RUDE Manager Tony wouldn't have been so hateful. I can't even imagine why someone would be so desperate to hire him in management position.

Great food.I have multiple allergies. The chef came out to help me pick my lunch and made sure it was prepared properly for me! The grouper was broiled perfectly!

Sharky s is the epitome of beach bar. Make sure to head this way for a sunset (well, like an hour or so before). Take a walk on the pier and grab some photos of pelicans and people-watch (you re more than likely going to see someone in a wedding dress), and then hit the bar on your way upstairs. The bartenders are uber-efficient (mainly due to the pre-made frozen drinks that they shell out you won t often hear the whir of a blender here)

Just what you would expect from a hometown favorite! The staff was wonderful, we had a little issue with the milk but it was taken care of ASAP! The food, service and scenery made for a very stress free lunch. You have to get there early or have time to wait if you want a table by the water. We didn't and so found being under the Pavilion was so much better we never had to fight the sun! The food was very good all 5 of us enjoyed what we ordered and our wait staff was very accommodating and friendly even though she had quiet a few tables! For me customer service is the key to good service and so I rated this 5 stars for everything, food and service! I hope to get back and try the night life!

Sharkey's is a must-visit if you're traveling in the area. Excellent venue on the beach in front of the pier. Great place to watch the sunset and enjoy a reasonably-priced dinner. Umbrella seating around the outdoor bar is all first-come-first-serve. Put your name in with the host, go grab a drink at the bar (good selection of beers and cocktails), and if you get lucky you might land an umbrella table when someone leaves. It's not uncommon to approach diners occupying an umbrella table and ask them for dibs.

Great atmosphere good food and service. Seating is just off the water.

Strong frozen drinks from the bar and a nice walk on the pier at sunset, perfect end to our day.

I visited this location on Saturday November 21st with my family. There was a customer at the outside bar stealing pigeons. My kids and I were upset about this and alerted the server. He was very nice and said he would take care of it. When the man came back from wherever he was taking these birds, the female manager told him he was not allowed to take the bird, then she left. As soon as she turned her back the man snatched another one. I went and found the manager and told her that he took another one and she got upset with me for being upset about it and said what do you want me to do about it She then asked the man and his wife to cash out then she left again. The man stood at my table calling us derogatory names and telling my children that he takes the birds and kills them. Then told us that he would be waiting in the parking lot for us for snitching on him. The manager was nowhere in sight. The server was having to stand in between my table and this customer. I wish I knew the male servers name that took care of us. He was more of a manager then the lady you call your manager there. I will NEVER return to this restaurant again. Thank you to the server who took care of us, you did a great job sir!

I got the flounder stuffed with lobster and it was really good. The waiter was nice too. Nice environment. Found a shark tooth

Long wait but the view is spectacular, the food was fine and the service was pretty good considering how busy they were.

Nice casual setting, my 1st visit & probably my last. I can always count on ordering Cod to be a very good meal; it was the thinnest piece of Cod with bones & without any flavor, I've ever had. Even the green beans were without flavor. The fries were good. They had a full house & we only had to wait 10 minutes. The waitress was great, so she received a 20% tip.

We were told by the hostesses at the entrance to walk down and sit at a certain table, but when we got there the bus boy had given it to another group. He told us to walk over to different hostesses and they would still get us a table. The second set of hostesses told us that they did have some available tables, but that we would have to go find them and maybe fight for them. They all thought it was so cute that they kept using the phrase shark fight. So after a lot of walking, we ended up leaving to go to a different restaurant. I'm not going to keep walking around trying to find a table, and I'm certainly not going to fight anyone else for a table. As we were walking out, we told the hosts at the entrance that we were too old to be running around trying to find a table and much too civilized to fight anyone for a table. This is a barbaric, ridiculous and very trump era way of treating people and doing business. We will definitely not be back.

The bests grouper sandwich I ve ever had in my life! The drinks were outstanding and the live music topped it off. All right there on the oceanfront! Will definitely be spending more time here.

This is and will always be my favorite restaurant , food , people , the ambiance , just go there and it will be yours too !
