Nice beach. Wonderful fishing and fishing watching. And most of all amazing food and drinks! But the cover changes sometimes are ridiculous but sneaky sneak, lol

Last week, I saw Kraft mac and cheese on sale at WalMart for a dollar. Well, at Sharky's, you can get the exact same meal (by 1/3) for $6.95. I'm really surprised that they served this!! Order the catch of the day or bargain on frozen/boxed food.

Great setting, music, drinks and appetizers! THE place to be in Venice.

Tourist restaurant next to the pier. Food is okay and a bit over priced and there is almost always a wait. But you do get to walk out on the Venice pier while you wait.

Fun, relaxed, place to go with friends to eat, drink, and just hang out. Indoor and outdoor dining. Good food and great drinks! A must visit when in Venice!

Food was very disappointing. The food did not appear fresh nor inspired. My expensive crab/lobster whatever was small, not satisfying in flavor, and looked like it was the last from the batch that was sitting around before I showed up and ordered it. The veggie compote was overcooked, mushy. There's a strong greasy smell everywhere inside. Service was good but I wouldn't go back.

Great food and an great atmosphere. Gotta get the grouper wrap...so tasty. Had a good time with the boys sitting outside and having drinks. The view is amazing. And if you come in the evening you can enjoy the sunset. I highly recommend this place.

The grouper Reuben was delicious! The view was excellent. We even saw dolphins swim by! The service was great. The staff was very friendly. They have a gift shop, as well.

Another wonderful meal at Sharkey's. This has become the place to bring visitors so they can have a great meal and see a beautiful sunset. I had the blackened grouper rice bowl. The fish was cooked just right and the rice, beans etc were very good. We also had appetizers. The grouper bites, onion rings, shrimp on the combo app were excellent. Our friends had the jerk chicken sandwich and the shrimp trio. Bother were flavorful and filling. No dessert for us. A must is a walk on the pier after an enjoyable meal.

Lots of seating and food was acceptable. Service was decent. The strawberry shark cake was disappointing.

Lobster stuffed Flounder was delish. Very good table service.

Sharky's is a fun place to dine. It is a little overpriced, but you're paying for the atmosphere and the amazing view! We love being there at sunset. The food is pretty good. We love the fish tacos and my favorite lunch item is the chicken sandwich with pineapple and BBQ sauce (not sure what it's called). The fish is so amazing grilled.

Good food and service. Great location. Always Florida casual. No after dinner coffees though.

The views are really nice here on the pier, the best thing out of our order was the lobster artichoke dip. The fried grouper wrap and mahi mahi tacos we had weren't what we expected. The Mahi Mahi Tacos were $19 for two! flour store bought in bulk tortillas. I understand it's Mahi Mahi but $8 per taco is quite steep. My wife didn't even bother with the mashed potatoes, all it took was just one spoon and left it there. There is better side choices.
The service was good, a new server helped us, she was very nice and was attentive.
We'll be back for more appetizers or something else not for those two dishes.

Spend all day there with my babes and niece and nephew and it was cold out today but still had amazing day

Great food, great atmosphere, beautiful view of the beach. What's not to like? I highly recommend the Caribbean Conch Fritters as an appetizer, they are one of my favorite things on the menu- and I'd never had conch before!

Didn t even wait for table. Outside hostess told my wife you need to be dressed honey to be seated inside ? Her bathing suit looked like a dress to me ? And we were told the wait for an outside table was 30 minutes but if a table opened you can take ? I guess you arm wrestle the other customers for it. Went to Tony s Chicago Beef, no wait &delicious. Fries were fresh cut, get the beef dipped.

My first time eating at Sharky's, had the shrimp and crab meat nachos. Very good! The view and walk on the Pier is always beautiful

Relaxed atmosphere with great service and yummy food!

Very scenic with a friendly atmosphere. You can step out onto the pier and enjoy the breathtaking waves rolling into the adjoining shores, and birds flying onto and around the pier itself. However, strong winds turn the base of the pier walk into a sandstorm, so wear long sleeves if it's windy, and hold on to your phones!

Had a wonderful time there. For my first time visiting, all of the staff and workers in the wares were very nice and helpful. The pier was amazing as well.

On the beach, good food and cold beer, what could be better?

Service was slow and forgetful. Had to ask for napkins multiple times and plates for appetisers were finally brought when we were almost finished We ordered drinks and by the time they were brought to us they were all watered down from the melted ice. The server should not have brought them in the condition they were in. Also really small cups for the price.. The shrimp nachos was good, wings were just OK. All that after waiting almost 1.5 hours for a table. Not an experience that has wanting to return anytime soon.

Fun place to take friends and family visiting from out of town and have a drink by the water.

I ve been coming here since I was a toddler, the location is exceptional, probably the best in south Florida. Sadly the food, drink and service leave much to be desired. What sharky s could be is squandered by the poor quality food and unenthusiastic service. I periodically visit every few years and I m always amazed it is still in business with how poor the food and service is , that being said location location location.

Ordered two different drafts , both beers were warm and flat as well as a flat Coke for my wife.

The catch of the day fish was mahi mahi , it was greasy, tasteless and over cooked. Comes with a plate of heavily buttered vegetables which were soggy.

My wife had an over cooked salmon and got a mouthful of bones.

Asked the waitress what was better for a 2 year old boy the fish and chips or the shrimp and she said probably the fish (Alaskan polluck) as she doesn t like their shrimp. Shrimp were over cooked and greasy

The menu is a strange over complicated mishmash of saucy and complicated dishes. Don t really get it

For the love of god just serve good local fish and cold beer and your set.

Very nice, we were never left waiting. Only complaint is the onion rings were left with a puddle of greace.

Food is average and prices are very high for what you get. Not to impressive!

I brought a little lady 97 years old she wanted to see the ocean. I asked if we could set at a table for 20 minutes out if the sun. Nobody was there 11am
The last at the reservation indoor seating told us no very sad they were not even busy

We were at Fins to celebrate my wife's birthday. It is always a special occasion just to go there. The views of the Gulf are terrific and the wait staff is very attentive and helpful. They made my wife's day very special. Love the food, the wait staff, the atmosphere, just love everything about this restaurant!

Sharky's always has great food, and great atmosphere! Never miss it when visiting Venice area.

Best place for beach dining. We love the nachos, nothing special, but a tray of nachos, a landshark lager, and a sunset pair perfectly.

Love this place came here with a friend that flew in from out of town to go to the St Pete Grand Prix which was canceled , this was a nice alternative , we had a great table by the Sandy Beach , we had seafood nachos , shots and beers
