My wife had outpatient surgery a few months ago and the level of care was excellent. From reception to post-op, we were treated with respect and care. The nurses could have not been better. The facility is clean, modern and safe. Very pleased.

Their ER is a joke. 17 weeks pregnant. Before being triaged I was told to pee in a cup. They had me do that in the waiting room bathroom! Then I was supposed to give it to the front desk. But they said give me a minute. So I stood back and waited. So then the security guy comes and asks me what I'm doing up there. I showed him the pee sample and said I'm just trying to give this to someone so I can sit down since im in pain! Having to stand in front of a full ER waiting room with a cup of pee is embarrassing enough. Then having a security guard question me! Only went here because my OB works for this place. I will NEVER be returning. I'd rather go to Darnall! Waiting an hour to be triaged to even hear what's wrong with someone is insane! Don't mess with a hormonal woman Mr. Security Guard! Go do things more important than bothering me!
*Also the last time I was there, their bathrooms were disgusting and I hardly had privacy.
I'd like to start out by sayinga huge heartfelt thank you again to Alysha C. for the extraordinary care she showed to my mom tonight. You went above and beyond and you're one truly badass nurse. I saw the actual time you put in on making sure the job was done correctly and you did it all with a caring heart and great professionalism. I truly wish they had more nurses like yourself!!!! Keep being the badass wonder woman you are even on the days that are not so good to you know you mean the world to alot of the people you care for.
I was there yesterday for heart issues and RN Robert wouldn't continue to process me in because I didn't know my allergies right off but he seen them on the screen , said I needed to tell him what they were! This is not the first encounter with this man over 3 years he has been rude and racist I believe and I have talked to charge nurses , patient advocate. I was eventually checked in without vitals, EKG, and was put in a room for 35 minutes before I walked out and went to Scott & White in Temple where in the first 5 minutes was hooked up vitals taken EKG and all was done. Stay far away from this place unless you like rude, racist people caring for you and could care less if you live or die. And I only hit one star because it wouldn't allow me to post without picking a star but the rating I have is 0
I hit my head pretty hard and its swollen and my symptoms are sick to my stomach ears ringing dizziness and extreme headache it was sooo bad I had to leave work early so I got there was seen really quickly but the doctor came in took one look at me and said there was no possible way I could have done any damage even though its swollen but he wouldn't know bc he didnt even touch me then they took my insurance information and she comes back five min later saying I was going to owe 2000 dollars ... I will be getting in contact about how I was treated by a so called professional
We were checked in around 4 a.m. in the ER. My brother couldn't stand on his own lwgs, after 2 hours of checking everything. The doctor came back just to say she assumpted because of his potessium was too low, his muscles got weaken out. So she asked to transfer him to the Scott and White hosiptal at 6 a.m. ..... At 2:11 p.m., my brother is still laying in the ER, awaiting for the transfer. I went home brought him some food and now they won't let me in and told I have to wait. He didn't eat for 10 hours now he has to wait again to eat. Terrible hosiptal I've ever been at in texas. Wish I could give 0 star instead of 1.
I used to like this place but now I probably will never come again . I came bc my 7 year old son was having issues breathing tonight . His secretions was difficult to clear , while sleeping . I had to grab him out of bed to assist . He was sweating . Felt hot . I load him up and bring him, they have us waiting , after all minor patients. I am on medical and always felt airway and breathing priority . I asked for a pillow and ladies at front desk stated can't give him one , head falling in wheel chair , hit handle and all . They state they have to wait until seen in the back ?! What kind of place is this ?! Safety and comfort first people , especially with sick kids ! A man came in bleeding with pants gone and towel covering . The nurse uncovered and bandaged right in ER desk area ? Where is privacy ? Shouldn't he be in private room for this ? I won't be back .
My husband had a emergency with broken ribs . He was taken here . We received a huge bill when he is covered . We were told it was because he didn't register ? I said , how ? He has discharge papers ? They tell us billing is not in hospital . They transfer and been hung up on constant for 2 months ! I am told by operator Josie they have no address or contact info on the billing department . Told I can't speak to housing supervisor bc not medical ? But it was ? In having serious issues with services provided there ? I request twice and she says , let me see if will talk to you ? I get housing supervisor Carlos . He is asking all sorts of info on me , not patient ? I get a lady that's cashier briana and she tells us about bill . She informs me billing is in North Catalonia ?! Never should you be refused to speak to housing supervisor with concerns . Never should a hospital have a billing department incompetent or staff that can't carry out concerns within this facility ! This speaks in volumes of quality of care you will be given .
This is one of the worse hospitals I have ever gone to. I am a disabled vet with severe GI issues that put me in excruciating pain amongst other things such as uncontrollable vomiting and etc. I also am physically disabled and have nerve damage due to continuous dislocation of my knees from a previous severe injury. I ve gone to this hospital in the most excruciating pain and received thee least amount of care and concern for my immediate pain. This hospital is subpar in their care and I urge you to go elsewhere. Especially if you are a black women they will treat you as if you are exaggerating that has been my experience here unsatisfactory in every way I was often sent home in the same amount of pain if not more.
Admissions lady Dominique in L&D is completely rude. The door was closed and she asked about 15 mins after we were standing at the desk up front if we needed help. I said yes and she was like "well I'm not a mind reader". Had the door been open we would have know she wasn't busy or even the factshe looked at us every minute so knew we were there. Very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL.
It's a beautiful hospital with a nice waterfall wall in the lobby. I had an ultrasound done on my thyroid here before with no complaints. They did great. More recently, I came here for an emergency and the ER doctor did not have very good bedside manner. (nurses were great) but I thought the doctor was quite rude and dismissive to me at first. She talked to me as if I were stupid
I am currently still in this hospital. If I could choose no star I would. From emergency department to Dr. Verma when I was admitted, the service was horrible! One nurse in ER was trying to do an IV. I'm a very hard stick. Instead of just sticking the IV in he jerked my hand. Once he jerked my hand, it tensed up. Afterward, I couldn't relax. He continued to try to make me relax. I couldn't. I told him that either he gives me time to relax my hand, or find someone else to do it. Either way my hand was not going to relax while he was holding it.
I have radiculopathy on my right and left shoulders and arms. Needles don't bother me like most people. I don't wince. I overheard him telling his supervisor that I jerked and was the one who caused the problem. When I heard that, I yelled out of my room that he is lying. And don't blame it on me. You are the one at fault.
The ER doctor, I was told that it was Dr. Dillman, closed my door because I was responding to the nurse's lies. After a while it got really hot and I had to use the bathroom. I didn't know where the call remote was because it wasn't given to me. So I started yelling for someone to the room because I needed to go to the bathroom. I called for over 30 minutes and no one showed up. I have a very week bladder so I guess you know what happened. It was humiliating.
After that one guy came in the room, I told him that I had been calling for someone for 30 minutes. He had the AUDACITY to say that I was not even in the hospital for 30 minutes. I told him that he was lying. He asked me if I was calling him a liar and I said yes!! I know what time I got there.
He acted as though he shocked that I called him out. The nurse who lied about my jumping came back to the room and asked if I wanted him to try again. I told him no! Then another female nurse came in and stated that she was going to do the IV but I can't do any jumping. I said, ok, I see where this is going. Regardless of what that nurse said to you, I did not jump when he stuck the needle in my hand. He jerked my hand down. Understand this about me. I don't jump when the nurses gives me an IV. She had to figure that out on her own. She stuck me on one location on my hand, it didn't take, but I still didn't wince. She had another area on the hand where she warned me is very painful. I said ok. I still don't move. And she saw that I didn't.
Then I ended up coming to the 2nd floor. Which was okay at first. My nurse Kim was nice, but Dr. Verma was a jerk. Instead of giving me a pain medication that works. He wanted to continue to give me medication that would have me in pain 2-3 minutes later. What type of provider continues to give you medication for pain that doesn't keep you out of pain?? He wanted to know how I knew about Dilaudid? As if I was addicted to the medication. It was the nurse the night before who gave it to me for pain relief. His comments were so off base. He was condescending. I will never come back to this hospital. If you knew what's best for you, go to METRO PLEX! They care about finding a solution to the problem. Now that my kidney stones on my right side are gone. I ended up with a kidney infection. Now that my white blood cells are up, he said that there is no need to keep me.
I had a great idea! How about trying to find out why I'm still in pain. Not only that he accused me, the patient of having an ego!! Are you freaking kidding me??? How is standing up for myself is having an ego???
When I called him on that, he said that he was asking me if I had an ego!!
PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I'M being discharged tomorrow 1/28/2019.
Worse experience,on Saturday February 20 I was taken by ambulance to this ER and DR Jonh Marshall was very rude as soon as he walk in to the room he saw me suffering on pain and he turn around and said I'll come back when You can talk, how I am supposed to talk if was suffering, the second time he walk in was he telli me why I don't go to darnall, I told him I don't have to go to Darnall because I was retired so in case of emergency I can go wherever I go want but that day the EMS chosen the wrong ER, well I explain this doctor my condition and he didn't believe me and was and total ignorant in how to treat me, he send a nurse with a tablet of Norco and I refuse to take it because it will irritate my stomach, so I told the nurse that he needs to read of my medical condition if he can't treat it seen someone who can, I don't know what the nurse told him him and he came to the room telling that was abusive to the nurse, if I would be abusive to the nurse why he didn't call security, so kick me out from the hospital and noted that I was refusing medical treatment. That guy I can't call him Doctor was so arrogant and total unconsidered of my pain need to learn that respect is both ways and need to know that the condition that brought me in to the ER need it to be treated differently, I went on Monday the 22 of February to complain to the patient administration but it looks like they don't do anything to that guy of course they always going to back up their staff and that's why they have many negative complains and don't fix the problem getting rid of the bad apples.
We arrived, called my Mom in about 10 minutes. The staff was really helpful, the whole 4 hours we were there. Nice and clean. Thank God everything was good.
Checked in at 11:20 waited almost an hour just for vitals. Then, waited 2 hours just to give me a cup for a urine sample. Waited a little longer until they finally called me in. Everyone was all over the place and didnt seem to know what they were doing. Nurse gave me a gown to change, then just seconds later asked if I was ready, ...which I wasn't yet they still opened the door. They wanted to do a pelvic exam with a camera in the room? Whether the camera was working or not is not the point. How are you going to try and do a pelvic exam with a camera in the room smh
I came here for back pain barely could walk they gave me meds and the pain was the same never helped it at all and I told them.i was uncomfortable and in tears. I understand people abuse the system but it's people like me not getting treated right because of poor judgment, I'm tired of this.
worst hospital ever, they only care about your money. i asked for financial aid for a 2,000+ emergency bill for them only putting saline in me. I got no call backs, I got nothing back and they just sent me to collections. I'm 20 years old with a 2k bill on my credit, thanks seton
From reception to discharge all were courtesy and very professional. Everyone explained each process and managed expectations for the procedured timeframe.
Wife is in the ER. I left to go into the lobby to get something to eat and the ER staff refused me and another man reentry. Told us we had to wait for rounds before they would allow us to see our loved ones. Mine who is terrified and is vomiting blood. The other gentleman and myself were both told by different nurses that we would be allowed to come right back in. Just see the secretary in the lobby. I did that and then had a rude police officer tell me the hospital has rules. What is wrong with the morality of this hospital and its staff. Definitely won't be bring any family members here ever again.
Very professional staff, take care of patient, never left without being taken care of professionally. Doctors are the best. My nurse Alysha was very attentive, the ER staff from check in to check out is the best.
This hospital is a joke, the nurses and doctors here do not care about their patients. The people in the front really don't care, they allowed a mental patient to walk around amongst children and the elderly. I came in with an allergic reaction and thank God I had bendryl because leave it to these dumb Beavers I would have died!!!
( STAY AWAY IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO SPEND HOURS FIGHTING THE BILLING DEPARTMENT) No matter what you do the billing process is gonna be somehow messed up and even if you pay your bills they are going to end up in a collections agency where you will have to fight back and forward with the collections agency and the hospital.
Wouldnt even give them a star. When I arrived I told them I was hospitalized for my asthma a few days ago and it's gotten worse to breathe. That it hurts to breathe period. I sat in this ER for 5 hours crying in pain. They called ppl that came way after me to the back and they were seen and gone. Two more people walk in they get called back. I get up and say thats BS and walk out. Security comes outside on me. I sat patiently in freaking pain waiting for my turn thst never came. Then when I get upset I get looked at like im just a ignorant ass.. This place sucks
I was sent here to get a chest x-ray, and I was very nervous to go after reading all of these reviews. But I have to say, MY Experience was exceptional! From the lady on the phone when i called to verify everything I needed, to walking in the door, the ladies at the welcome desk were so sweet and welcoming. The ladies in registration we re also very sweet and professional. All the way back to radiology, again, the staff were so friendly. My whole process was quick and easy. I was very pleasantly surprised!
I rarely give reviews but I been taking my son to the ER here since he was a baby and they always got him seen within a decent time. They always give him medicine and ask me if I need a note for work. I prefer them over my son's actual assigned hospital so that should tell you something.
Seton Medical Center is a phenomenal facility! With both my husband and son being there due to a car accident, they were very patient with my frazzled mind and also allowed them to be in the same room. We did have a wait for radiology to read xray and cultures to be sure of no internal bleeding. However, we utilized the Emergency Room and knew that ER is not a first come first serve basis, rather a Level of Trauma/need.
We will ONLY utilize Seton for our hospitalization needs and are very thankful they came to our area!
I've been both an inpatient (medical) and an outpatient (numerous MRI's, CT Scans, X-Rays, and ER Visits) and have been extremely impressed with the staff and facility. I'm very thankful that this facility is located in our community.
My doctor had sent me straight from my appointment to the ER. He had called ahead to make sure I would get straight back since I was actually in an emergency.. When I had arrived, they told me they had gotten a call from my doctor but they still had me check in. I was waiting for an hour and a half to two hours before being brought back, even with my vitals not normal.. The doctor disregarded what my normal doctor had said.. Paid no attention to my infection that we needed treated by IV antibiotics. And didn't care that my heart rate was extremely high and my blood pressure way to low. Just tested my urine and sent me home. Thankfully my husband forced me to try Metroplex. I was in worse shape by the time I got to metro, my vitals were worse. So thankful Metroplex actually listened and treated what was actually wrong with me. They were the ones actually worrying about my vitals and doing IV antibiotics. I will never step foot in Seton, ever.
So i had my gf in there for abdominal pain and they did all test that they could and found even tho she told me that everything normal horseshit i would stay away if you not what good
Went here yesterday due to neck spasms, Jennifer at the front was rude and when I was suffering a spasm she looked at me as if I inconvenienced her! She ought to be replaced as I almost left due to her but stayed and glad I did as Dana was very helpful and seemed to genuinely care about me getting better I appreciate her and the nurses with her as they were wonderful!
Took my mother in and the family knew she was manic. We had given her all kinds of medication to calm her down. They did nothing!!!! We were there for four hours! They are incompetent! Took my mom to Scott and White!
Was having contractions 1 minute apart, was still a month from due date. Hadn't talked to obgyn admit a birthing plan. Went into this ER had a nurse tell me, WHILE I'M HAVING CONTRACTIONS, to lose the attitude. Her tell me my obgyn doctor didn't exist, how ignorant me and my husband were for not knowing our birthing plan yet, then go into a curtain room and gossip to another nurse in front of a other patient and complain how dumb me and my husband were for not knowing our birthing plan. Poor rude service!
The single most horrible experience I have ever had at a hospital. The staff was lazy, arrogant and actually LIED to me within the day and a half I was not admitted , but not allowed to go.I could write volumes on the mistreatment I endured. Avoid at all costs. The pictures I have posted showing the bruises was done by hospital staff.
I was diagnosed with pneumonia. The blood valve was still on the table when they discharge me in hours. Gave me prescription On my way. My oxygen was not up to normal. I still had trouble breathing they was going to make me walk out without a wheelchair. I have insurance but it didn t matter
I had my son almost a week ago (Father's Day of this year). My Dr. Was Dr. Mark Lobaugh, and I have to say that both he and his staff were amazing. Every nurse that took care of me and then my baby when he was born was so compassionate and attentive. I felt like I was listened to, and it was obvious that everyone knew what he/she was doing. They treated my boyfriend with dignity and care as well. Both my boyfriend and I have had negative experiences at different hospitals with the birth of our older children, and we had braced ourselves for something similar this time around but we were only pleasantly surprised. During labor, my nurses Ms. Kitty and Ms. Misty reassured me and paid attention to every one of my concerns, and when I experienced some postpartum complications, my nurse Wendy went above and beyond to make sure I was both safe and comfortable. This whole team deals with all kinds of people every day, and they do a phenomenal job. I don't plan on having any more children, but if I did, I would without question use Seton and Dr. Lobaugh again. Thank you!!!
Seton in is very uncaring and uncompassionate. Saddly from the nurses and doctors. Went in with dental pain which was extreme. Pain wasn't resolved. An nsaid was prescribed after i told her ibprophren was not working. This doctor would not even try another antibiotic. So sad that there is no compassion at that hospital. I went home crying and cried all night out of pain. please save your self from humiliation. they are not professional nor are the nice in any way.
I can't give it a "5" because we haven't yet been billed, but we had as pleasant a visit as you can have to an emergency room this morning. My almost-4-year-old daughter hurt her mouth and was bleeding and crying. The nurses were friendly and respectful toward her, making sure she was comfortable and knew what was going on. We were seen within five minutes of arrival and a doctor showed up within 15 minutes after that. Fortunately, nothing was wrong with my girl except a loose tooth and a scare, but everything ran very smoothly for a Monday morning. (It took another half-hour to discharge us, after everything was finished, but I wasn't nearly as concerned with that as I was with the immediate response in the beginning.)
If there are any problems with billing, I'll be sure to update this review.
Worst ER service ever, if possible avoid this place completely. Go to the Urgent Care next door or to Metroplex or Sctt&White. ER was ridiculously slow. Doctor only saw my mom for a combine time of maybe 5 minutes even tho we were there a about 9 hours. Get prepare to get a enormous bill as well.
So disappointed that a long awaited facility that isn't part of Scott and White is not what it should be. My grandson had surgery there Dec. 2014. Everyone was absolutely wonderful until he went to recovery. Both nurses were rude to my daughter and myself. I guess they didn't like a 4 year old waking from anesthesia and battling to pull his IV, as well as screaming and crying. He refused to drink so we couldn't go home. I suggested to one of the nurses she try wetting a washcloth and squeezing some water into his mouth. She squeezed it alright! All over his face, then said "he swallowed, I saw it" and we were released. Gladly...
Now for the billing department. .Billing department gets no stars! It's completely impossible to deal with. When the "business manager" refuses to deal with the problem and lies to me saying I can't call the facility directly to get help because they don't deal with anything like an insurance paying incorrectly, it's pretty sad. He said they'd just transfer me back to him. The various departments at the hospital have been very understanding and doing all they can to get to the bottom of the problem. Thank goodness! I'm ready to put this experience behind me! My hope is the hospital correct some of their issues for those of us choosing not to use Scott and White.
NEVER go the this hospital for anything. Today I waited 4 hours to not even been seen due to they re poor service! A women who walked in about 3 hours after, who you could tell was way worse then anyone waiting, had a seizure infront ofeveryone in the lobby and the hospital staff responded to it so slowly walked to her and after checking her out sent her back to the lobby. I got up and left to give her a better chance at being seen because if I didn t she would been there all night!.
I sat in the killing floor (er) at S&W for 10 hours 1 night and 6 hours the next morning waiting to be seen for a possible stroke! I was in and out of the Emergency Room at Seton in less than 3 hours. All the tests completed and everything. If you want to be a living cadaver stay with S&W I am never taking a chance with my life again at that place. I am switching my care to Seton it's well worth the drive
The wait time for registration is ridiculous. My father gets blood work done every 2 weeks and the staff in registration is soooooo slow. The need to work on registering the patients in a timely manner. This is definitely a big problem at this hospital. Patients should not have to wait long to register for services.
Went Sunday (9.17.17) to be seen because my pain and get a refill on a Schedule II narcotic due to a recent surgery wait wasn't long because I went in the morning..I get back in the room and get the most obnoxious arrogant ass wipe of a doctor I have ever meet in my 26yrs of living Dr. Christopher Colvin needs to go back and learn some damn bedside manners and quit acting like everyone is uneducated and he is the brightest one in the crayon box. He doesn't listen thinks he oh so much smarter than me when it comes to my rare condition which I am sure he has never heard of in his life until he met me that day. The RN that came after his arrogant ass left was bout on the same level as him thinking she knew everything. I was told to come to the ER under the advice of my dentist but he just assumed I don't know what the hell I am talking about. Seton doesn't have to worry about me every coming again there for any type of medical assistance I rather suffer to see my PCP before stepping foot in there EVER AGAIN!
This place doesn t even deserve 1 star... I only came here because I was in their area and wasn t able to drive to Metroplex... I will never come here again!!! Your wait time is ridiculous and some of the staff looks at you with disgust
My husband has been in ICU since Friday 6/15/18 and the kidney doctor is great and the daytime nurses are great; But the graveyard shift is the worst. I haven't seen his room being cleaned at all. Urinal sat full until I emptied it. Blood pressure has been high since last night and nothing has been done about it. Because it was a emergency for him to be seen is the only reason he was brought to this hospital. Scott and White would have been my choice. The only reason I gave two stars is because they saved his life.
Beware surprise billing from just about everyone you come in contact with at the hospital even though they are supposedly in the SWHP network. We went to the ER there and not at SW in Temple only because we weren't sure we'd make it there in time. Surprise billing entities continuously and erroneously failed to submit claims or flat out denied for no reason. Had to send all bills to SWHP myself and needless to say, they paid some or most on all of the bills we submitted. F & S Radiology billing is the worst (for xray). ER staff was friendly but everything took forever despite not a lot going on (I know, typical for ERs everywhere it seems). ER nurse was great.
I absolutely loved labor and delivery!!! hands down best staff and experience I've ever had! I delivered my first child at metroplex and that hospital was horrible. If I ever decide to have another baby again I will definitely go back to seaton :)
Slow AF. Haven't got in a room or talked to any nurse for over an hour now. My friend is having very bad pain where he was passing out, his hands were going numb , his chest was hurting and his legs were tingling. I went to front to tell desk and the intake person just looked at me with no concern at all and said I'll let the nurse know and proceeded to just sit there. They will see you if you come in by ambulance I'm sure.
While I use this hospital system for some of the physicians who have been very good, the ancillary staff and services are horrible. I had to have an MRI done. After an hour, much patience with the staff and a broken machine, I had to reschedule. The sad part is that I took time off for this, even though I could have done this procedure after work. I was told MRIs were only done from 8-5pm. When I returned for the rescheduled MRI I was told that because I was 5 minutes late I would have to wait or reschedule again. There was no one at the reception desk to greet me when I arrived and the rude woman who told me I was late, clearly had taken the patient much earlier than my arrival and simply tried to blame me for her mistake. Even my own doctor told me to go to another place to have my study done. This will be my last time giving any ancillary business to this place.
Wonderful experience considering the circumstances . Competent and caring staff all the way from ER through post surgery. Throughout the hospital everyone I encountered was friendly. The nurses and techs loved their jobs and it showed. The response time to any needs was short and frequent instructions were given to just ask if anything was needed. Dr Price was professional and through but had a bedside manor that was also reassuring.
My boyfriend's mother passed away here. I understand that these things happen, HOWEVER...We got a letter in the mail for her (she lived with us). This letter was asking her to do a survey on her recent experience here. Are you kidding me? She died here, is that good enough for your survey? So disrespectful and inconsiderate... It also was pretty bizarre that when she suddenly passed, the doctor came in with a huge smile and then gives us the news. What gives?
They took a while to get an x-ray and we were waiting in the lobby for 2 hours and when we got called into the room it took long but other the that the people that work there are nice
This place Is awful!!! I would not recommend seton they only care about money and they will not see u if you don t have money even if it s for something serious! They only care about money and the employees are stuck up and they don t care about patients!!! I could go on about how awful Seton is!! Because it is the worst hospital ever! If you want a better hospital got to Advant health they are so sweet and nice a they genuinely care for people I would highly recommend METROPLEX HOSPITAL THAT IS NOW CALLED ADVANT HEALTH THEY ARE THE BEST HOSPITAL EVER AND THE SWEETEST DOCTORS AND NURSES AND EMPLOYEES.
Don't have your baby here. They will push pain meds on you even though you tell them no, be horribly rude to you, and will call cps on you for burping your son and asking "too much questions".
Thank you to all of the staff who took awesome care of me and my husband. The endoscopy staff/anesthesia /admitting /revovery all blessed me this day. Thank you Dr Zhao for being one of the best GI Dr's. See you all of 10 years. You each rock!!!
I thought Seton Harker Heights was the best Hospital in this area oh boy! Was I wrong the front desk clerks because thats what they act like shouldnt have jobs the clerk Robert act as if its his hospital, talked to patients like their nothing and have the nerve to give attitude like whats wrong with these people. When you speaking with one person he feels the need to jump in the conversation like where is the professionalism and every patient that was at the desk as soon as they walked off he starts whispering about them. I was waiting for 3 hours and they let 2 different people go in front of me and I was in drastic pain smh I will never ever step foot in that establishment again.
My Mom arrived on 2/28/2019 for a lab draw. The lab tech informed my Mom that there were contract issues between Seton and Wellstone. Patients have enough to worry about without hearing about Seton's problems. Contractual issues between Seton Medical Center and Wellstone are none of the patients business and should not be voiced to the patient nor impact patient care. The same lab tech explained to my Mom that Seton would have to "eat a bunch of lab draws." She would have to find an alternate lab for processing her specimen. Is this standard practice for a hospital? I demand the Director of Quality at Seton Medical Center contact me.
Got taken by ambulance to Seaton medical center with a stemi one of the worse heart attack u can have I don't remember much of what went on but I was taken right to Cath lab with 2 blocked ateries of 100% all I know the saved my life and so did EMS thank u so much for u Exelent care
I went to Urgent Care for shortness of breath chest and back pain. After X Ray doctor sends me straight next door to Seton because I have too much fluids in my lungs and it is considered an emergency and need to be drained. I go to Seton explain them the situation show them a picture of my X Ray , they take my vitals make a smart comment about I shouldn't be smoking and send me in the waiting room. I sat there for over 2 hours. I should have been next in line because everyone that was there before me got called to the back already and more people came in in the meantime... After they called the 4 th person that CAME AFTER me I litterly lost it. If my situation wasn't serious the doctor from urgent care would not have send me to the ER in first place.Im sitting there with chest and back pain and out of breath and they didn't do anything. This is rediculous ... And I believe is because I didn't have insurance. Who cares as long as I pay my bill. Don't go there and spend your hard earned money on them. They obviously don't care about people.
If i could would be half a star. Worst hospital ever. Not even 10 people outside. Got in by 840pm since 6pm that i came in. Rude. Nasty. Dirty and incompetent people. Nurses gossiping and chit chatting while ur in the room waiting. If u step out of the room in er they wont let u back in until the 1/2 hour. Got released at 1130 pm still waiting for iv to be pulled, Meds n paperwork and it is 1242 am.
The 2female doctors here are awful. They just don't care. The first time I brought my son here she accused him of lying saying he feels good. This time Dr. Casey just looked at him and I had to ask question after question to see what was going on with him. Once she found out he didn't have insurances she didn't care at all. She barely checked him and was insulting. The male do Tor I saw here made me feel like there is a chance the hospital is ok. But I am having another reality check of how bad this hospitals doctors really are right this moment. What a shame. Don't they know that in the end they will have to answer to God. This is weird. Such a lack of compassion and empathy from these female doctors. Then they wonder why their lives are so miserable. You can see it in their eyes how miserable they are by the way they treat patients especially the kids.
Giving them a star cause the page made me but actually they don't deserved it. I broth my mother here with an asthma attack and throwing up and they make her wait cause her blood pressure was find, the told me that she cut wait, even when everyone in the waiting area is (actually) looking at her cause she is having a really heart time with the cough and her dip breathing the nurse in triage told me I can give her a treatment ok why she think we here for o wait let me give light to this nurse well we here cause the treatment isn't working at home you NURSE, we ain't here cause we want too. She can obviously see that she is in pain and ones again she told me to wait REALLY plz some one explain to me precidures in this case!!!!!!
Admitted my wife without me even being involved in the decisoon.they let her go 20 hours without any food . Delivered it and expected hurt to cut her meat while 1 handed. Great doctors but a horrible hospital, they did not even have half of her meds
Brought my mother in to the ER. Going on a 7 hour wait with a clueless staff that makes me question the abilities of the weekend medical staff. My mother sat dehydrated as no one came to check in here for 3 hours at a time and I finally left to get her a water bottle and I had to remain outside for an hour because of "visiting procedures". Go to Metroplex or Scott and White. This place has the most incompetent staff I have ever seen in a medical facility. Really goes to show anybody can work in medical.
Wouldn t even give it a star, still waiting on being seen by a doctor after waiting for FOUR HOURS, only been seen by an RN once and vitals checked twice because of waiting so long.
Horrible labor and delivery dept. had a scheduled induction and was told there was no room for patient after having family take off work and come from out of town. Incompetent. Not my problem they are understaffed. Someone doesn t know to run a hospital.
My husband had a knee surgery here and from the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were treated professionally, and with kindness. There is a volunteer in the coffee shop who was friendly and sweet, the front desk was helpful and patient. The registration went smoothly. The nurses and doctors were absolutely wonderful and the surgery and processes around the system went like clockwork. It is a nice clean environment and we will not hesitate to use this hospital again.
The worst experience I have ever had. I left with 4 prescriptions and none of them helped me. I was completely misdiagnosed and received $7500 in bills for tests that were not necessarily. I ended up in Adevent Hospital 3 days after being seen here.
In for about an hour, and of all days, "Christmas Eve," and I was a very comfortable and easily simple experience for an "MRI", AND SETON MEDICAL CENTER looks really nice and calming pretty tranquil
these reviews are right its awful here, my daughter was so ill vomitting and diarrhea at the same time and they were like you got 2 hours at least before the next person is called and the er was packed. They said my tricare probably won't pay for it either. NEVER again and they won't fix this either so it doesn't help to complain.
My father was EMSed to seton ED. The staff was phenomenal, quick and kind. Dock to door we were in and out in under 3 hours with lab work, ct and heart test. Thankfully he was okay, but the experience was amazing. Great team and experience. Highly recommend
We arrived at 1030 am on 1/10 to check in for a c section and the registrar was so unfriendly and complaining out loud to herself as we sat in the lobby waiting to go in and see the new baby. However, Rhonda H. showed up at 3pm and she was inviting and friendly and the best. There should always be a Rhonda at your registrar desk for such a wonderful occasion as a new baby.
My wife has been diagnosed with end stage kidney disease, with pre -Dialysis surgery schedule for 4 june 2013- .....the offices of the Nephrologists in the building east of the main building need a a class in both phone etiquette and the importance of their work. I knew they were busy handling a full work load so for the last 3 weeks I have called at exactly 8:00 in the morning the first was to schedule a pap-mammo-onco exam to assist my wife in the qualification process for a possible Kidney transplant- I was told that I would receive a call back right away to let me know if the Tests could be performed that day- I clearly stated if you can't do it just let me know , Scott and White or Metroplex are close and I can call them.- No Phone call, we wasted the weekend worrying....last Friday I again called and requested a last minute blood test to see how critical my wife's filtration rate is- ( level of kidney failure) the Doctor ok's the blood tests at 12:45 with results available in a few hours- I call the Lab at 4p.m., the results are in but they cant give my wife her own results, the Doctors went home early today- office closed, and what kills me is no after hours phone numbers, again we wait the weekend....no news - now we are 24 hours away from surgery I have called this morning at 8:12 am, no answer....the coldness, the lack of concern the unavailability of these individuals indicates to me they are in the wrong business - id love to see what their annual paycheck is for such crappy service.....I am a public servant and i have to be available 24 hours a day...I would think if your in the business of saving lives you should at least be reachable by phone.....
Get it together for nursing mothers. Other than your doctors being ridiculous, I'm more upset that no one can answer me as to why I can't nurse my son when I've been in here for days because no one will operate on a holiday. You're nurses, besides ms Shelly and Karalyn, are terrible. The two of the four doctors I've talked to are incompetent. I'm really upset about all of this.
The Women s Center is fantastic! My daughter had a baby Nov 7th and everyone and the treatment was amazing! Katrina at registration was wonderful and even gave us a blessing. Then the ENTIRE staff was outstanding especially Margaret and Shelby! They were patient, professional, caring, loving, and they deserve to be recognized! I cannot sing their praises enough! Thank you for making this life changing event so wonderful!!
I would zero stars if I could but unfortunately I can t. My daughter was sick and I was scared that she was getting dehydrated and we waited over 3 hours in the middle of the day because they had her down as an ear ache?!? I would rather drive the distance to go to a better hospital
My 9 year old daughter with a history of asthma when in not been able to breath and it took them 30 minutes to check her in and 2hr and 30min for a doctor to see her. First time and last time.
I shouldn't even give 1 star took my husband in. And we had to find out that he had bronchitis, and suppose to have meds they never gave or told us anything.
