I am currently still in this hospital. If I could ...

I am currently still in this hospital. If I could choose no star I would. From emergency department to Dr. Verma when I was admitted, the service was horrible! One nurse in ER was trying to do an IV. I'm a very hard stick. Instead of just sticking the IV in he jerked my hand. Once he jerked my hand, it tensed up. Afterward, I couldn't relax. He continued to try to make me relax. I couldn't. I told him that either he gives me time to relax my hand, or find someone else to do it. Either way my hand was not going to relax while he was holding it.

I have radiculopathy on my right and left shoulders and arms. Needles don't bother me like most people. I don't wince. I overheard him telling his supervisor that I jerked and was the one who caused the problem. When I heard that, I yelled out of my room that he is lying. And don't blame it on me. You are the one at fault.

The ER doctor, I was told that it was Dr. Dillman, closed my door because I was responding to the nurse's lies. After a while it got really hot and I had to use the bathroom. I didn't know where the call remote was because it wasn't given to me. So I started yelling for someone to the room because I needed to go to the bathroom. I called for over 30 minutes and no one showed up. I have a very week bladder so I guess you know what happened. It was humiliating.

After that one guy came in the room, I told him that I had been calling for someone for 30 minutes. He had the AUDACITY to say that I was not even in the hospital for 30 minutes. I told him that he was lying. He asked me if I was calling him a liar and I said yes!! I know what time I got there.

He acted as though he shocked that I called him out. The nurse who lied about my jumping came back to the room and asked if I wanted him to try again. I told him no!
Then another female nurse came in and stated that she was going to do the IV but I can't do any jumping. I said, ok, I see where this is going. Regardless of what that nurse said to you, I did not jump when he stuck the needle in my hand. He jerked my hand down. Understand this about me. I don't jump when the nurses gives me an IV. She had to figure that out on her own. She stuck me on one location on my hand, it didn't take, but I still didn't wince. She had another area on the hand where she warned me is very painful. I said ok. I still don't move. And she saw that I didn't.

Then I ended up coming to the 2nd floor. Which was okay at first. My nurse Kim was nice, but Dr. Verma was a jerk. Instead of giving me a pain medication that works. He wanted to continue to give me medication that would have me in pain 2-3 minutes later. What type of provider continues to give you medication for pain that doesn't keep you out of pain?? He wanted to know how I knew about Dilaudid? As if I was addicted to the medication. It was the nurse the night before who gave it to me for pain relief.
His comments were so off base. He was condescending. I will never come back to this hospital. If you knew what's best for you, go to METRO PLEX! They care about finding a solution to the problem. Now that my kidney stones on my right side are gone. I ended up with a kidney infection. Now that my white blood cells are up, he said that there is no need to keep me.

I had a great idea! How about trying to find out why I'm still in pain. Not only that he accused me, the patient of having an ego!! Are you freaking kidding me??? How is standing up for myself is having an ego???

When I called him on that, he said that he was asking me if I had an ego!!

PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I'M being discharged tomorrow 1/28/2019.
